Gemini screamed and chased him. She shot again, this time clipping his leg. "Why don't you just lay down and die, you piece of trash!"

"Because I can't die don't you know that?" Joker smirked. "Bruce has been trying to kill me for a while." he shrugged and glanced at his leg. "Tickles." he popped a piece of fortune cookie into his mouth as he studied her. "Why not shoot me in the heart?" he blinked. "Any one else would. Of course I haven't done anything today to warrant it. I was just about to." his hyenas appeared. "Come on you two." he headed off slipping down a alleyway.

Gemini growled. She had hoped to cripple him with that shot. What was wrong with her? She chased him. Even cockroaches die eventually." She muttered, firing at him again. However, she couldn't aim properly because she didn't want to hit the hyenas. She did manage to shoot the hand that was holding the Chinese food, at least. She stopped chasing him to pick up what was left of the order. "Next time I see that bastard, I'm shooting him right between the eyes..." She huffed and continued onward. Luckily, the customer didn't mind that their order was a bit shaken up. Once the delivery was made, Gemini hurried home.

Lori looked over when Gemini entered. "Hey. What happened?" she frowned when she saw the look on the others girls face.

Gemini was about ready to set someone on fire. "Joker happened. Bastard showed up out of nowhere on my last delivery, tried to recruit me again. He joked about Harley...and then he had the nerve to try and tell me he didn't kill her! I tried to shoot him, but I only hit his leg, and he got away." She was shaking with rage. "It was my mistake. I gave him a chance to talk. I did it for her. But I shouldn't have. I should have just shot him on sight. Next time, I will."

"Gem...Joker didn't kill Harvey. He lied to piss me off. A enemy of the Suicide squad killed her." Lori looked away. "Clark found out for me. I'm going to torture who ever it was until they wish they where dead. I couldn't kill them Harley wouldnt want that."

Gemini blinked and stared at Lori for a moment, then flopped down onto her couch. "Well, damn. I guess he has told the truth, at least once." She muttered. "Doesn't mean I forgive him, though. He's still an asshole and he treated her badly. And he tried to steal my delivery." She didn't know why that bothered her so much, but it did.

Lori laughed. "Guess had guys have to eat." Just then a explosion sounded from the area of her delivery. "Poor Bruce." She chuckled. "Never gets any rest." she fiddled with the hem of her shirt. "Do you want to come to the funeral with me? It's tomorrow and I don't think Clark will be enough to hold me back if they say something."

Gemini sighed. "Bastard..." She muttered at the sound of the explosion. She shook her head and turned her attention back to Lori. "I would like to go, actually. I'd like to...to say goodbye. And don't worry, if they say anything I won't have to hold you back, because I'll attack them myself."

"Please don't. There still our parents." Lori sighed. "Though I wish they weren't."

Gemini pouted slightly. "Alright, I won't. I guess you and I will just have to hold each other back." She said.

"thanks Gemini." Lori crushed into a hug taking deep breaths.

Gemini hugged her back. "Of course, Lori. What else are friends for?" She said quietly, trying not to cry herself.

Lori sighed. "Tomorrow is going to be a long day." she grumbled.

"Yeah." Gemini agreed, pulling away and sitting back down on the couch. "But we'll get through it. Hey, at least you have Clark to help you out, right?"

"yeah." Lori smiled. "I stole his shirt." she chuckled. "He had to fly back home without it." she smirked.

Gemini laughed. "Is it wrong of me to hope that some news helicopter got footage of that? Imagine the headlines: Superhunk flies without shirt on." She wasn't attracted to Clark, but she could appreciate a well built man when she saw one.

Lori turned a dark red color. "That would be nice." she chuckled."many girls would passout from nosebleeds."

Gemini chuckled. "I know, right? Kinda makes me wonder what Bruce looks like under those suits. He's probably pretty built, with the way he runs and jumps everywhere." She mused.

Lori turned a bright pink color. "I refuse to think of that since I am dating Clark." She grimaced. "I have a terrible mind." she chuckled. "All I can think of is them naked.''

Gemini turned a bright red. "Oh dear. My mind went somewhere completely wrong when you said that. Now I'm picturing them naked...together."

Lori turned even pinker. "God that would be awesome to watch...or be a part of. OK! Subject change. How was work?"

Gemini laughed for a solid minute before she was able to catch her breath. "Work was fine." She finally managed to say. "I got a few good tips that I'll need to use to buy a new bike." She added in a teasing tone.

"I could buy you one." Lori blushed in shame pouting like a five year old.

Gemini waved a hand. "It's fine, really. I've been saving up for a new one, anyway. That one was ready to fall apart. If you want to repay me, buy some Chinese food next time you're on a stay-in date with Clark and tip me extra." She said calmly.
