"And ruin seeing the look on your face?" Lori shook her head. "No way!" she smirked. "I actually do have a bra on. It would be weird if I didn't."

They titled there heads at her as Joker caught up. "Give me the gem!" he growled. The hyenas laughed clearly excited to see the master so angry. It meant that they might get to eat her.

"You are cruel." Bruce said, pretending to pout. "Just...as long as Joker isn't going to get his hands on that jewel, I think I'm okay. What is Gemini trying to accomplish, anyway? Besides getting herself killed?"

Kitsune giggled, innocently holding up her hands to show nothing in them. "Gem? I don't see a gem. It must have vanished. Oh, I know!" She snapped her fingers. "It's in my bra! Too bad that's somewhere you'll never get to."

Lori shook her head. "I'm not telling you. If I did she would murder me." she slipped her arm threw his and leaned forward. "You know we're in a room all alone." she smirked a little.

Joker growled. "What are you two up to? No way would Lori give that thing back." he frowned. "Is this a trap?" He glanced around.

Bruce nodded. "This is true." He said. "It's nice, being alone with you and not having to worry about a camera in our faces."

Kitsune shrugged. "No, not a trap, at least not that I know of." She said honestly. "How do you know it was Lori who planned this? As it happens, I had help from someone else." She had given up pretending that she wasn't Gemini.

"Because Lori is the one who stole it in the first place." Joker scowled. "What is your plan?

Lori leaned towards him grinning. "Then we can hold hands and kiss for a while before we go out there."

Kitsune shrugged again, quickly transforming back into herself. As the transformation settled, Gemini opened her eyes and gave him a frustrated look. "My plan...I suppose my plan was to get your attention. We didn't discuss what to do once I had it, though." She admitted.

Bruce smiled, taking Lori's hand. "That's the best idea I've ever heard." He said, leaning down to kiss her.

Joker took a breath and let it out. "Thats some plan." he joked. "The first part worked at least. So now that you have my attention what do you want?"

Lori grinned and kissed him back clinging to his tux.

Gemini blinked. "Honestly? I really don't know. Like I said, the plan was to get your attention. I never planned beyond that." She paused to think. "Do you think...okay this sounds stupid and pathetic but maybe we could just talk?"

"Alright...I guess." Joker blinked. "Do you want to talk here or go some place else?"

Lori pulled away and grinned at him. "Shall we go back?"

Gemini glanced around. "Somewhere else. I don't know if Bruce is on our tail or not, and I'd rather not be interrupted." She said.

Bruce sighed slightly. "I suppose. The party's probably dispersed by now, anyway." He said.

"We could go back to kissing but you would miss out on being Batman." Lori smirked. "Besides I can come over tomorrow and we can make out on your couch."

"Where do you want to go?" Joker blinked. "we could go to my hideout."

Bruce smirked. "Sounds good to me." He said, taking her hand and leading her out of the room.

Gemini shrugged. "I guess. I don't really care, as long as we're not standing out in the open."

Of course the police had shown up and where questioning everyone. "Look there Gordon...poor man." Lori shook her head. "he's aging by the second."

Joker nodded and lead the way back to his hideout. He feed the hyena's who seemed disappointed that they hadn't gotten to eat her. "So...talk."

Bruce nodded. "I've tried convincing him to retire, but he's too stubborn." He said.

Gemini leaned against a wall, arms crossed. She was quiet for a moment, organizing her thoughts. "Okay. I think it's pretty obvious at this point, and pretending is getting me nowhere, so I'll be honest. I like you. Like...more than I probably should. I mean, you irritate me beyond all reason, and most of the time I could punch you as easily as hug you...I'm not explaining this right." She sighed, frustrated. "Point is I like you, and I've struggled with that feeling, and now I'm just coming out and saying it just to get it over with because I seriously can't stand pretending anymore."

Joker blinked and then started to laugh. "Oh that's something else. Have you meet me? Or Harley?" he smirked a little. "If your telling the truth your really messed up."

Lori smirked. "that reminds me of someone." She lead the way outside to there limos.

Gemini glared at him. "Do not mention Harley like that." She snarled. "She was like a sister to me, I loved that woman. And I knew everything you ever did to her." She sighed. "Look, I'm way more stunned about this than you are. I don't know how it happened, and I don't like that it happened, but it happened and there's nothing I can do about it...and Lori already punched me for it." Closing her eyes, she banged her head backwards onto the wall. "Just reject me so I can eat a tub of ice cream and get over you."

"I have no idea what you mean." Bruce said innocently, giving her a mischievous smile.

Joker turned serious. "I can't do that...I'm actually going to be serious. I don't know what I feel...annoyance for sure but I find you interesting." he blushed softly. "Its not love or like...or Maybe it is and I don't know."

Lori snorted softly then frowned. "Where is my driver?" she noticed him getting arrested and groaned. "That is just my kind of luck. I paid good money for that limo ride!"

Gemini's expression went blank for a long moment as she processed what she'd just heard. She felt like a computer rebooting after a crash. Finally, she opened her mouth. "Well that's...not what I expected to hear." She puffed her cheeks out in irritation. "Okay, so now what? I like you- against my better judgement- and you have some unknown feeling towards me, and neither of us know how to figure out what the hell you're feeling...so what do we do? Just ignore it? Avoid each other? God, this is so stupid!" She slammed her fist against the wall behind her.

Bruce grimaced slightly in sympathy. "Well, I don't know if this helps but...I can drive you home, if you want. And I'll pay you back for the limo." He offered.

"I would say ask Lori but she would do horrible things." Joker sighed. "Maybe we could just hang out for a bit and see where things go." He offered.

"Yes to the ride home no to the money." Lori shook her head. "What a end to this great night. Oh carp she still has my jewel! I mean...something not incriminating." she shifted her eyes.

Gemini thought about this and shrugged, not able to find any reason why they shouldn't. "Okay, I guess. I'll warn you in advance that I'm terribly awkward." She said.

Bruce laughed. "Sorry, what was that? I'm afraid I couldn't hear you over the noise in here." He said pointedly. "Let's wait until we get to the car to talk more."

Joker snorted. "Then this should be fun." he said rather dryly. "We already don't match."

Lori grinned and slipped into his limo. "Hello Alfred." she greeted his butler. "Is Bruce busy tomorrow? I want to take him out on a date."

Gemini shrugged. "I mean I'm not always that bad, it's just when I first meet someone I don't know what the hell to say." She amended her statement, blushing. "I can tell you one thing, though. Your hyenas have some very colorful vocabulary. Also you don't feed them enough."

"For the record, I do know my own schedule." Bruce said as he slid in next to her. "And no, I'm not busy tomorrow."

"Now that is a surprise." Lori joked. "Well then since your free. I'll come adultnap you around noon so we can go on a date."

"I do it on purpose the hungrier they are the more vicious you are...besides do you know how hard it is to get the kind of food they like?" Joker sighed. "They must get there language from me." he laughed.

Bruce smiled. "Alright, I'll be waiting for you to show up." He said with a chuckle. "Hopefully with a rope and a blindfold." He added with a wink.

Gemini frowned. "That's abuse. It's truly pathetic that they thought of me as a big meal. In the wild, each of them would eat twice my weight daily. And they were so excited at the thought of sharing me." She shook her head. "They won't live much longer of you starve them like that."

Lori turned bright pink and her skin rippled with flames. "Goodness! Who knew Bruce Wayne was such a pervert."

"I do feed them as often as I can." Joker insisted. "But you can't rob meat places as often since there aren't that many around." he gestured to a freezer. "It's full right now so they'll eat...really they where Harleys pets and her idea."
