"That sounds perfect." Lori took his hand. "Lets take my car." she suggested.

"Then bring is back clone is kill the clones then never speak to us again." Harely laughed.

Bruce shrugged. "Alright. Lead the way then, my lady." He said, bowing slightly to her.

"Exactly. And I'd rather stay alive for a little while longer." Gemini said.

Harley nodded and pulled out paper. "Lets plan." she grinned and got to work.

Lori lead him to her old gray beat up car. "Here she is." she grinned. "My baby." She climber in. "Passenger side sticks. You pull and I'll push." she leaned across the seat to do just that.

Gemini scooted closer so she could plan properly.

Bruce smiled at the old car, finding it charming. "Alright. Ready?" He waited for Lori to be ready, then pulled at the door.

Lori pushed and the door popped open with a groan of protest. "I really need to get that fixed." She sat up. "Maybe when you pay me I'll get it fixed."

Harley glanced at the clock. "Time for work." she informed her with a smile.

Bruce nodded and got into the car. "That's probably a good idea." He said.

Gemini raised an eyebrow. "Work?" She questioned curiously.

"Yep I have to find a job so I can help out my sister and your tagging along to help me." Harley nodded. "Its been a while."

Lori grinned and floored it to get the car going. It gave a hiccup then smoothed out when she hit the road. "Where would you like to go?"

Gemini looked thrilled. "Sounds great! I've gotta do something while my old boss is rebuilding the restaurant." She said. "Lemme just run and get dressed real quick. Oh-" She paused. "Is there anything specific I should wear?"

Bruce held tightly to the door handle, just in case, until the ride smoothed out. "I know this place I think you'd like. Just turn here, then take a left at the next light."

"Alright." Lori did as she was told "sorry about the car...I really need to get her fixed." She sighed.

"No your just coming to keep me out of trouble." Harley shrugged a little.

"No, don't apologize." Bruce said, smiling fondly. "I like older cars like this. They have character."

Gemini nodded. "Okay." She said, running to get dressed. She came back moments later, dressed. "All set, let's go!"

"And they plot your death." Lori joked as the car shuddered in the middle of a intersection. ''come one." she mumbled urging the car on. It smoothed out and she breathed out. "Good car."

Harley dragged her around. She stopped at a store and stood eyeing a pink purse clearly thinking about stealing it.

"Believe it or not, I learned to drive in a car like this." Bruce said. "Brings back memories."

Gemini elbowed her lightly in the ribs. "At least wait until later when no one can see you." She said. "Unless you want to be seen and let everyone know you're still alive."

"Your instructor must have been trying to kill you." Lori snorted. "Or themself...it was Alfred wasn't it? That poor man."

Harely pouted but let it go. "I'll be back." she whispered to the purse and headed over to get an application. "I hope someone calls me back." she sighed softly. "Its only been an hour and I've hit five places. Lets take a rest and people watch." she sat on a bench.

Bruce shook his head. "It was the car my dad learned in. I don't know why we still had it- sentimental reasons, I guess. Alfred couldn't get rid of it. When I got old enough, I wanted to learn in it, too." He said. "I will admit poor Alfred had a few scares with me behind the wheel. I still have the car, actually, but it's out of use. I just keep it shiny."

Gemini nodded. "Good girl." She said, sitting down next to her friend. "I'm sure you'll get someone. And if all else fails, my boss has been needing to hire someone to help me with deliveries for ages. He'll have no choice if someone turns up who actually wants the job." She said with a smile.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Harley chuckled. "I would be to tempted to start stealing from people. I need to lay low until my fingerprints vanish from the system."

Lori smirked. "You could keep me someplace to shine." she liked being able to flirt usually Clark would have a near heart attack. The thought of Clark had her accelerating as she glared at the road.

Gemini shrugged. "Okay. But consider that an open offer." She said. "You know, that may take a while. And most places you apply are going to want some kind of history. Do you have an alias and a fake backstory that you can back up if someone goes snooping?"

Seeing the shift in attitude, Bruce did the only thing he could think of: he flirted. "Shine? Oh no, I'd rather get dirty with you my dear."

Harley nodded. "Sis helped me set it up shortly after we found each other again. Thanks for the offer." she hugged her.

Lori blushed softly. "Well maybe if you behave for a while we can get dirty at some point." she purred. "which way am I going?" she asked.

Gemini hugged her back quickly. "It's not a problem, hon. We're friends, remember?" She said.

Bruce smiled, looking like this was the best possible answer he could have heard. "Take a right here, and stop at the little blue building."

"Ok." Lori stopped in front of the building and got out stretching. "At least my car is to crappy for people to steal." she ordered him her hand.

Harley grinned then froze. "Damien...what is Joker doing dressed as his otherself." she hide behind a building glaring at him.

Bruce took her hand and lead her into the building, which turned out to be a nice little café. It was cozy and out of the way, and no one seemed to notice when they walked in, which made it obvious why Bruce liked the place so much. "They serve breakfast all day here. I love to come in after long meetings and get pancakes." He confessed.

"Wait, what?" Gemini looked up, scanning the crowd. "He has an alias? Why did you never tell me about this?" She turned to Harley only to find that the other girl was hiding.

"Oh pancakes!!" Lori speed up a little basically dragging him to a table. If she had a tail it would be wagging happily. "And OJ! The perfect breakfast with the perfect guy."

Bruce laughed as he followed her, doing his best to keep up so he wouldn't trip. "I'm glad you like it." He said, moving to pull her chair out for her.

"Yeah he developer it a few years ago just for fun I think. He said that some times he just likes walking around knowing he can do something without Batsy being called at the first second." Harley whispered as a man walked towards them. He looked like Joker and had the same walk but he was missing the makeup and dark smile.

Lori sat down with a sigh. "I'm starving." she mumbled and glanced at the menu. "I know what I want!"

Gemini stared. "It's amazing how makeup can change a person's face entirely." She mumbled. "Wait, shit, he's coming this way. What do I do?"

Once she was seated, Bruce moved around the table and took his seat across from her. "That was quick." He signaled for the waiter.

"At normal." Harley slid further into the shadows. The Joker headed towards her then slipped past smirking at her as he passed bumping into her on purpose as he headed off.

"I know what I want." Lori shrugged. "Food is usually an easy choice."
