"What's it to you?" The man sneered at her. "The girl was an idiot." One of his friends added then yelped as his shirt caught fire. "Don't talk about her like that!" Lori growled fully on fire. "Wholly s***." the group backed up but didn't get far as flames erupted behind them. "Your stupid and you deserve what I'm going to do." Lori hurled a fire ball at them. "Lori don't burn the place down." Pam groaned.

Gemini, unfortunately, was no help. She was right in there, already punching the first guy who had spoken. "You shut up! She was not stupid...you're stupid!" She snarled. As Lori hurled fire balls, Gemini surrounded her fists in fire and started punching.

Pam took Selina and head outside calling for Superman just as a few cop cars pulled up. Lori finished setting them on fire along with the rest of the building when cops entered. She turned her anger on them making things far worse.

When Lori started attacking cops, Gemini finally came to her senses and pulled her back. "Lori, no! Not them, they didn't do anything!" She pleaded, hoping to calm the other down. If she couldn't, she'd have to resort to drastic measures.

Batman was the one who showed up, having tracked Ivy to the source of a disturbance. He saw the fire and sighed, guessing who was behind it. He went inside, sent the police out, and moved forward. "Lori. I need you to calm down." He waved Gemini away.

Lori turned her wrath in him blasting him with flames. Her powers had gained control of her mind and all she could think of was hurting those who had wronged her sister.

"Shi-" Bruce used his cape to cover himself, having deja vu from earlier that day. He moved forward, fighting against the flames to get to Lori.

Realizing that she could do almost nothing to help, Gemini ran outside and yelled for Superman.

Superman landed before her. "Yes...oh." he grimaced when he saw the club was on fire. "Lovely." he sighed and headed in.

Lori growled and attacked her rage blinding her as she slammed into him. She was strong for a girl her size and weight.

"Hurry! Batman's in there and I'm actually kind of afraid she'll kill him." Gemini said.

Bruce managed to brace himself enough that he didn't go flying, and wrapped his arms around her tightly to hold her still. "Would you...just...calm down?" Now would be a wonderful time for Clark to show up.

Superman walked up smirking. "This is why I can't figure out why you want to pretend to be a playboy." he gentle took Lori from him. "Come on Lori." he brushed her hair from her face. "Your powers don't control you." he held her close. "She wouldn't want you to do this." Lori froze and blinked. "that right. I'm right here" he smiled and then gentle kissed her. The fire slowly died as she kissed him back. "thats my girl." he said when he pulled away. "I'm so sorry Br...Batman." Lori stayed in Clarks arms but looked to Bruce.

Bruce gave a sigh of relief as Clark showed up and took Lori. His suit had actually started to melt from the flames being so close. He recovered his composure and nodded at Lori when she apologized. "It's fine, really. You were upset. I can't claim to understand how it feels when your powers take over, but I've seen it enough to have some idea." He shrugged. "Better control is something the League will be able to help you with."

"I usually have better control then that. It's only extreme anger I have a problem with." Lori sighed and frowned a little as her mind wishing it was Bruce that was holding her. "What's with the frown?" Clark asked. "I'm thinking that I'm going to be broke fixing this." Lori grimaced. "I'm going to jail aren't I?"

Bruce shook his head. "Don't worry about it. If Clark flies you out of here, the police won't be able to ID you. And I think you'll find that a certain generous benefactor just recently bought this building and was planning to remodel it, anyway." He gave her a pointed look. "Just don't tell anyone you were here tonight, and you'll be fine."

Lori crushed Bruce into a hug. "Thank you Bruce." she pulled away then stood. "Come on I'll introduce you to the girls." she wobbled a little and Clark lifted her up carrying her outside to the girls. "We should go." Clark looked to Gemini. "I'll bring her back to your place." he flew off.

"That looks terriffing." Pam blinked then spotted a cop. "Time to go." she grinned and raced off.

Bruce looked slightly uncomfortable. "It's...no problem." He said. He waited for them to clear out before disappearing.

Gemini sighed in relief when Clark came out carrying Lori. "Stay with her until I get there." She told him before he flew away. That's when the police showed up, and Gemini did the same as her friends and got the hell out of there.

Of course when Gemini got there Lori and Clark where making out. He had her pinned to the wall while she was clinging to his cape.

Gemini rolled her eyes and cleared her throat. "No sexy times in the open areas, please. At least take it to the bedroom." She told them.

Clark pulled away blushing softly. He cleared his throat "I'll uh...go." he kissed Lori's head and then headed off.

Lori was blushing as well. "he can never finish what I'm trying to start." she sighed.

Gemini chuckled. "I guess he's too much of a gentleman." She said. "It's late, we should get to sleep. I'll pull out the sofa bed for you."

"Thanks." Lori smiled at her and smoothed her hair down. "I probably look a mess...a hot mess but still." she chuckled.

Gemini shrugged as she set up the sofa bed. "I think we all look like a hot mess, after all that. But honestly, I don't consider a night out a success unless I come home looking like I'm about to drop."

"Is it weird that I like when Br batman." Lori sighed. "It's hard not saying there names. Is it weird that I like it when Batman hugs me?"

Gemini paused in the act of fluffing a pillow, looking thoughtful. Then she shrugged and went back to fluffing the pillow. "Not really. I mean, hugs are nice. Maybe he's just a good hugger." She stood up straight and surveyed her work. Satisfied that it was good enough, she looked at Lori. "Unless...you're saying you'd rather have him hug you than Superman?" She wasn't sure what that would mean, if anything.

"I mean that last part." Lori blushed. "I don't know why but I can't get him out of my mind." she flopped onto the couch bed and groaned. "Whats wrong with me?"

Gemini came around and sat next to Lori. "Well, he's been there to comfort you a couple times about your sister, which is a huge factor. You're upset and vulnerable right now, so you're probably a bit mixed up with your emotions, and it's easy to feel that way about pretty much anyone who comforts you. Add the fact that he knew Harley, and it's probably just a matter of a personal connection. I don't think anything's wrong with you, Lori. I think you're just upset and grieving, and Batman happened to have been there when Superman wasn't."

"Maybe your right." Lori sat up and shrugged. "At least I hope thats it. I love Superman with all my heart and he's been there for me. Of course Batman was there now he practically owns this town."
