Clint perked up when he heard the footsteps. Yup, he knew who was about to walk in. He grinned a bit and nudged Nat.

"You ever met Harry Hart?" he murmured to her.

"No," Natasha murmured, intrigued now, and shifting a bit so she'd be able to see the new person more easily. "When did you?"

"A while back, we tripped over each other," Clint said, waiting for Harry to come in. "It was fun."

"Hmm." Natasha's eyebrow quirked at that but she didn't ask any further questions. Yet.

Clint just smirked a bit as Harry finally came into the room.

Valerie looked over as well, and relaxed just slightly when she saw Harry. Good, that was one more person who could help her find her sister, and she knew what Harry was capable of.

"Took you long enough," Merlin grumbled.

"Harry," Phil greeted with a little smile. "Good to see you again." Oh this was going to be entertaining, he could tell.

"Forgive me for being out and doing my job," Harry sniped back at Merlin. He glanced over at Phil. "I see you made it. And you brought that menace with you. Why would you do that, Phil, what have I done to you recently?"

"I couldn't leave him, he's not fully house trained," Phil said, voice dry. Clint was just grinning, and he twiddled his fingers at Harry.

"I hardly see how that should be my problem," Harry replied, voice equally as dry.

"Oh dear god there are two of them," Valerie murmured. "I didn't realize they were so alike."

"Likely, it won't." Phil shrugged a bit, as if that settled that. "Besides, we're here because of your missing agent, not the bad behavior of mine." This time went unsaid.

"Indeed," Harry murmured. He looked at Merlin. "Any new information?" He blinked when he saw 'Callie' there before his mind caught up with him and he remembered that 'Valerie' had a twin.

"Nothing yet," Merlin said with a little shrug. "I have a couple others out investigating for me as well."

"Good," Harry said. He glanced at the others before raising an eyebrow at Merlin.

Merlin shrugged a bit. "I have work I still have to do," he pointed out before making a vague shooing motion towards Harry. "I'm sure Harry will be able to figure out what you lot can help with."

The rest of the day was a bit of a blur to Valerie, and she reluctantly turned in that night under the others of both Coulson and Merlin to get some rest. She didn't sleep much, though, and was up early the next morning in Merlin's surveillance room, with a coffee in one hand and the other hand ghosting over a touch screen.

"You're up early," Coulson noted mildly from the doorway. "Couldn't sleep?" He didn't step into the room yet, instead still taking note of everything in there.

"Could ask you the same thing, sir," Valerie replied, taking a sip of her coffee and tapping a couple of things on the tablet in front of her. One of the large screens switched windows, and it was obvious she was going through CCTV footage.

Coulson just smiled. "I don't think anyone will get much rest until she's found," he said, stepping up so he was standing next to her instead. He didn't point out that Merlin had likely already gone through the CCTV and had facial recognition set up, since at least Valerie seemed somewhat more content doing something to help.

"This wasn't supposed to happen," Valerie murmured as she flicked through frame after frame of CCTV. "She was at a desk job. It was supposed to be safe."

Coulson hummed his agreement. "Much as your position is supposed to be safe?" he mused. "And yet here you are technically in the field, and I don't doubt that the instant you hear where she is you're going out with the field team."

Valerie looked at him.

"This is different," she said. "And sir, no offense, but you're the last person to be lecturing me on that. I've heard what happened with Agent Barton."

Coulson smiled and didn't dispute that.

"I believe some of the others will be up soon," he said. "Harry will likely have some ideas as well. He doesn't take losing an agent well, especially not this way."

Valerie made a small sound.

"Harry and Merlin will want tea," she murmured into her coffee mug. She still flicked through CCTV frames.

"I'm sure." Coulson didn't comment yet again, because he didn't need to. He already had things figured out, after all.

Fortunately it didn't take long for Merlin at least to be up and grumping about with his ever-present mug in his hand.

Valerie glanced at Merlin as he came into the room. She wasn't surprised to see that he was fully dressed and ready for the day, nor was she surprised to catch the smell of tea as he walked by.
