Arcadia eyed the elevator mistrustfully.

"Must we?" she murmured to Steve. She pulled her wings in a bit tighter around herself.

Steve blinked at her. "We can take the stairs if you prefer," he offered. "It's about sixty floors up."

Arcadia made a bit of a face.

"Fine," she said. She tilted her head a bit to the elevator. She could put up with it for a few minutes.

Steve nodded and got in, making sure there was still room. Which wasn't hard; this particular elevator could hold the whole team and gear no problem.

Ciara kept her expression carefully neutral as she stepped into the elevator, folding herself into a corner.

Arcadia pulled her wings in even tighter once she was in the elevator. She definitely did not like the enclosed space, not at all.

Bucky stayed near Ciara. He could see how uncomfortable she was, and he'd seen how possessive she'd gotten once she had relaxed at home, so he didn't give her any more reason to be distressed.

Steve stayed near Arcadia, not quite touching her but still close. Fortunately it was a short elevator ride, at least.

Ciara didn't move until the elevator had stopped, and she let Bucky out first.

Arcadia wanted to be out of the elevator quickly, but she forced herself to wait until Steve had gotten out before she left the metal box.

Bucky could tell she was uncomfortable, so he got out of the elevator as quick as he could.

"You alright?" he murmured to her.

Steve ushered her out with him, taking a quick look around to see who else was around. Fortunately, no one was, and he grinned a bit.

"There, all done," he murmured to her.

Ciara nodded once, wasting no time getting out of the elevator. She shook herself a little once she was out, though.

"I still don't like it," Arcadia murmured back. She rustled her wings a little and resettled them on her back. Then she glanced around, curious.

"The others should be around somewhere," Bucky commented, glancing around quickly.

"There are normally people around," Steve told her with a bit of a grin. "And a few other dragons. Everyone spends some time here."

Ciara nodded, looking around more carefully. It didn't take long before Sam emerged from the staircase with his dragon in tow, yawning briefly and grinning when he spotted the two.

"Took you long enough," he teased.

Arcadia eyed the newcomer and his dragon warily. She wasn't quite sure how to react to them, since it was obvious that at least the human was on friendly terms with her own and Ciara's. She glanced at Steve to figure out what to do.

Bucky snorted a little.

"Took some time to settle things," he said.

"Of course you did." Sam grinned though and shook his head. "Clint's trying to lure the Roombas into the workshop again last I saw." Which explained why everyone was gone.

Steve snorted, grinning broadly. "Oh that'll end well," he said, clearly amused. "Oh, Sam, this is Arcadia." He made a motion to her but didn't make her step forward or anything.

Arcadia nodded, and then glanced warily at the other dragon.

"Hey, cool," Sam said. He grinned a bit and gestured to his dragon. "This is Ophelia."

"Filly," the dragon added, rolling her eyes a bit.

Bucky hesitated just slightly, but then shook himself and stepped aside just slightly so they could see his partner.

"This is Ciara," he said.

Ciara inclined her head to the other dragon, still rather wary. But this other dragon was comfortable here, and this was neutral ground, so she should be fine. Probably.

Steve grinned. "Anything else going on we need to know about?" he asked Sam. "Or just the normal?"

"Not really," Sam said with a bit of a shrug. "Thor's out for a while, said something about going home. Dr Banner is somewhere in his lab, I think. Tony's... somewhere." He paused, knowing he was forgetting someone.

"Agent Romanov is out for the moment, as well," Filly added.

Steve nodded. Fair enough. That was actually probably better for the two to adjust to the tower and residents. "Alright," he agreed. "I think we're going to show them around a bit. Coming with?"

"Nah, you go on," Sam said, waving a hand. "Got a new wingpack to test for Stark, heading out to give it a whirl."

Steve snickered. "Have fun," he said. "Try not to fall this time though." With that, still grinning, he headed farther in, glancing back to make sure Arcadia was still with him.

Arcadia stayed close, her wings pulled in tight.

Bucky also headed in, but then veered off to one side, away from Steve.

"Come on," he said to Ciara, "let's go raid the kitchen first."

"You can relax," Steve told her. "Not many people are around, and this is a common area anyway. Nothing's gonna happen here, I promise."

Ciara nodded after a moment, following his lead in this case. She did blink at the size of the kitchen, but made no comment on it.

"Not yet," Arcadia murmured back. She wasn't quite ready to relax, and likely wouldn't until she knew exactly who she was going to be dealing with.

"Want anything?" Bucky asked as he went straight for the cabinets. He was more than ready to shove a pack of poptarts in his face.

Steve nodded. "Alright," he agreed. He did continue taking her on the tour, though, so she knew where everything was.

Ciara shrugged fluidly. "I could eat," she said cautiously.

"Any preference?" Bucky asked as he rummaged around.

Ciara shook her head, watching him. Well, he was clearly comfortable here. "Whatever you're having."

Bucky nodded and pulled out a couple boxes of pop tarts.

"Strawberry or fudge sundae?" he asked, already fishing out a strawberry packet for himself.
