Kili shot her a grin. "The rest of the company is practically dying to ask questions," he told her. "I think I just got elected representative to ask. After dinner. Uncle Bilbo insists we wait until after the food."
Amaryllis smiled a little at Fili, seeing that her sister's attention had shifted anyway. |
"Of course," Hyacinth said with a nod. "It's only sensible to wait until after the meal, when everyone is fed and happy."
"He's fond of her," Fili murmured, also watching his brother with Hyacinth. |
