"I can sneak out" he replied.

"Well then, I'll be headed back here in a few hours. Just need to make sure it's dark. I'll meet you right here." She smiled.

"Alright. Do I need to bring anything with me?" he asked, already sensing that this was a bad idea.

"Maybe something to drink? Actually, I'll bring you a bottle of water." She thought, "We'll be fine, Promise."

"Alright." he responded. "But my offer from earlier still stands. Want me to walk you home?" he asked, not teasing her this time.

"You know, More time to chat would be nice. Considering we've talked through other means for years it's great to put a physical appearance to the figure." She smiled

"Agreed. And you did wonder what it would be like to actually have a boyfriend at one point in time, that's why I was teasing you earlier. I can stop if it annoys you" he replied honestly.

"I remember that letter." She laughed as they began to walk, "I'm okay with it. I'm used to ignoring things if they get annoying but that hasn't... yet." That bit was added at the end because he might push it.

"I'll keep that in mind then," he replied. "Though...um..." at this he scratched the back of his head lightly in embarrassment. "You don't mind leading, do you?" Riku asked sheepishly.

"Well of course, You don't know where I live yet." She laughed softly.

"Thanks," he replied, still blushing lightly.

"So is there anything you'd like to ask me you haven' in our exchanges? I'm sure there must be something we haven't talked about." She tried to change the subject to stop him from blushing.

"Didn't you say you had something bad happen to your younger brother or something along those lines? You were a little vague about it in our letters," he asked as he walked with her.

"Oh yeah... I remember mentioning that to you but it sorta... dropped from the conversations." She grabbed her arm. "I... lost my younger brother due to a car crash. When I wrote the letters he was in stable condition but... something happened at the hospital. I haven't talked much about it since then. That was a long time ago, I'm surprised you remembered."

"Well I may have kept all of your letters," he admitted, enjoying reading them over the years. "Now then, I'm sure you want to ask me a question" he replied.

"I'm not sure we discussed this much. I know we both clicked over our love of books but do you do anything else besides read? I mean, on my free time I'll sometimes play video games." She realized that was something neither of them discuss due to the hordes of book conversations, plus all the small talk they would do over their lives.

"Huh, now that I think about it, you're right. That subject never did truly come up in our letters though," he admitted. "But to answer your question, I write and play video games, mostly JRPGs...or RPGs now that I'm here, I guess. There's also Dance Dance Revolution..." he said with a light grin on his face. "I also use to take karate but I gave that up a few years ago," he added while thinking of anything else that he could add.

"Hey, I use to study Kendo for a few years." She laughed, "I guess books made us physically lazy huh?" The joke was thankfully at both of them.

"Just because we don't have our physical abilities anymore at our peaks doesn't mean we can't get them back if we train once again. And besides, you could teach me kendo and I teach you karate, if you honestly wanted to do that, that is." he replied quite honestly. "And having smarts is better than being all brawn after all..."

"That's very true you know. I spend a lot of time studying but then again with Takiyama-sensai it's best to keep up on your studies. She tutored me quite a bit last year and she's an amazing teacher."

"I'll keep that in mind then," Riku replied honestly.

"I haven't seen a teacher that is so hyped up on study. She actually rewards students who excel from what I understand." She spoke as if that was more a rumor then a confirmed fact.

"Really now? Then I guess we should try getting some study periods in then," Riku replied, wanting to honestly try to see if that rumor was true or not.

"Oh don't worry, I push that all the time. I want to make sure I'm on her good side." She smiled, "But the two of us doing it will be easy. We can bounce the questions off each other."

"And leaving our poor Otaku out in the rain?"
