Hermione smiled at Ginny when she said she was happy to be in the same year as her as well. That did make her a bit happy After that comment, she was a little more absorbed in eating her food than paying attention to what Ginny was saying to her brother.
Her attention was drawn back in when she heard her name the second time the question was asked. She stared at Ron as he answered the question, her cup of juice frozen halfway to her mouth. She was about to growl at him but she couldn't after he said that he felt great about being with her again. She took the drink from her juice to hide her blush and the idiotic grin she was sure to have on her face. He was so handsome when he smiled like that. At me, she thought. She began to feel giddy about it but managed to suppress it just in time. When she put her cup down, she smiled dazzingly, not on purpose, at him. She really wished she could hold his hand just then but instead she continued to eat the little bit of food that was left on her plate; the little bit of food that she could managed to eat in any case. Ron ate way more than he should.
