He was a bit startled when he felt her tug on him. Lost recieved the kiss with a smile, pulling Isis against him so he could hold her closer. "Already talked to her," the dark-skinned doll said quietly. Honestly, he'd already mentioned it when Mother had been there last - it was right around the time he'd gotten Isis her ring as well. "When we go to visit, she'll have them for us." Looking about the garden, Lost sighed. "She'll have them tomorrow morning when we go invite her."
-

Namine looked up from her breakfast with a start. She hadn't had many people talking to her after Dev left her be. Hearing the boy's question, the blonde smiled. "Just after noon," she said just loud enough for him to hear her. His head was still in the fridge, after all. With a quiet laugh, she looked back down at her pancakes. "There's more pancakes on the counter," she said, hoping to be helpful. She scoured her brain for this guy's name . . . and eventually found something that sounded about right. Hesitating, her blue eyes flickered between her food and the other doll. "A-Anderson?" A blush spread over her face as she thought even harder. "Errison?" It had been far too long since she'd heard his name.

Addison's head popped up from the fridge. "Oh, thanks. I may have some pancakes after I make this damned sandwich. Actually, I might as well not make the sandwich then." He threw the avocado back into the fridge and closed it, finding a plate and a fork and helped himself to most of the pancakes left. His eyebrow raised as she tried to figure out his name, and his lips cracked into a smile. "It's Addison. A lot of people get that wrong. It's fine. I know it's a weird name - it takes time for people to get used to." He dug into his pancakes, making sure that each piece was about the same size before he put it into his mouth.

"Erm, what have you been doing today? And where are the others? I might have passed them. I don't know. I don't remember. Maybe I should stop rambling," he sighed, ruffling his own hair. It laid in a way that was ruffled, but still adorable, which was what he went for most of the time. He hesitated to say something before he put another piece of pancake into his mouth, but decided not to say it.

Isis smiled in return, holding onto him tightly. She had almost lost him for the second time and she was glad it never happened. It had actually been him that had saved her, she would have to tell him that. He needed to know just how much she had needed him. She was surprised to find out that Mother would already have their clothes ready for when they went to visit her. "She does, really? Well, that's one more thing to check off the list." she said happily. She had never picture Lost to take control like that, but she liked it. He had opened up so much more since they had first met, and she could definitely say that it would take a lot of time before he would be anywhere near Life's level of outgoing, but Isis loved him just the way he was. "Good...I had been wondering what we would wear and I didn't know if we were going traditional or not."

Namine laughed easily. He was so . . . cute. The way he moved and spoke was like he was just waltzing around without a care in the world. "Addison," she repeated. Nodding, she returned to her food. She was finished before Addison only because she had started earlier. Honestly, she wouldn't have beaten him if she'd started at the same time as him.
When he asked her what had been happening that day, Namine shrugged. Her delicate hand went for the pencil beside her sketch pad. "Everyone has been busy. The Party Preps aren't loud anymore. Mother hasn't returned yet." As though that explained everything, she smiled slightly. "I don't ever do much. Just . . . here, I guess." Her soft voice didn't ring with the uselessness she felt, but it was in her blue eyes. "The wedding is coming up. Are you going?"
-

Lost tilted his head a bit. "Mother has been thinking about it for a while." He smiled a bit. "I don't even know what it will all look like." The doll moved toward the fountain that stood in the middle of the garden. This one was a mirror of the Forbidden one, only it was in better repair. The water that sprayed from its top was clear and sparkling, and Lost watched it for a few moments before turning his gaze back to Isis. "She has the cake planned, too." Honestly, Mother had most everything ready for them. Lost reached out to touch the glittering water with a small smile . . . and then used his wet finger to tap Isis' cheek playfully.

Addison looked over at Namine as she began speaking, but kept eating. He nearly choked at the word 'wedding' - he'd forgotten that it was so soon. After collecting himself and coughing a few times, he pushed his plate away, done. "Of course, I'm going to the wedding. I'd forgotten it was coming up so soon. And why is it that I don't really see you out of the kitchen, in regard to your earlier statement?" He asked, tapping his bottom lip in feigned wonder. "Maybe it's because you're making me food all the time?" He joked, a grin cracking his lips.

A smile spread over her face. "Maybe," she said, looking at his empty plate. "I could cook constantly and still not satisfy your hunger." Namine laughed, and then started sketching. A few minutes later she had a picture of Addison on her paper. Smiling, she showed him. "What's it missing?" she asked, letting the game begin.

((Oh my gosh. Okay so I'm gonna post even if it kills me. I've been putting this off for far too long!!!))

Isis was surprised to hear this. She hadn't thought mother had been in on all of this wedding business, but then again she was sure Lost and Life must have told her their plans of proposing at some point in time. "Really? And I wanted to surprise her, oh well. I have something else in mind for that." she said, mostly to herself. She looked at the fountain and shivered lightly, memories of what had happened at the Forbidden one came rushing back to her. She shook them off as Life mentioned something about the cake as well. Isis really shouldn't have been so surprised that Mother had thought of everything. In fact it made things so much easier for the dolls. She looked completely shocked when Life tapped her cheeks with his dripping wet finger, but soon laughed and flicked some at him in return.

Mother had always made things easier for her dolls. Lost chuckled when Isis flicked him with water, and suddenly stood. Looking playful, he placed his hands on her hips - meeting her gaze for many moments, he smiled crookedly - and lifted her up onto the rim of the fountain. Lost's gray eyes filled with laughter as he looked up at the girl. "I don't know what I would have done if I lost you." Ditching his tendency to speak in one-worded sentences, the dark-skinned youth blinked away any negative emotion that flit through his gaze.

((:XD Alright, so should we start skipping to the wedding or something? We need some conflict . . . I don't want to become disinterested in this one, but I'm afraid that I'm just not really thinking about it. :())

((I agree, we need some sort of conflict. Maybe Zarrah and Isis get into a fight or something? I don't know...))

"You don't have to wonder anymore Lost. I promise you I won't be going anywhere for a long time. Not until you decide you don't want me anymore. And I'm hoping you never decide that." she told as he lifted her up to stand on the lips of the fountain. She looked down at him and smiled sweetly. She loved him, and she knew how he felt. The time he had saved mother, that had been the worse time ever. Back then, Isis had no idea how she would have been able to start over with him. It seemed so impossible. Now that she had him back, she would never let go, not ever. Isis blushed, seeing his crooked smile. She loved the smile so much. She was pleasantly surprised by his long sentence. She hadn't noticed that he had started to speak a little more.

((A fight between the girls. Good idea. I'll have to think of a reason why . . . and it has to be something big. Hmm. Something about the wedding? Or something about the brothers? :XD Perhaps a newcomer starts some trouble (I'm willing to make another character, if that's what this needs.)))

Lost smiled again before walking around the fountain with Isis beside him. They were inseperable. Even if Lost contemplated leaving, Isis would never let him: they were too in love to think of letting one another go. "You know I would choose nothing over you," he said, gazing up with her. There was something akin to admiration in his gaze - and a bit of that star-struck look as well. "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." It was true; Lost's life as a doll hadn't been worth it until Isis came along. He was glad that she would be by his side from then on.
Isis took a step a bit close to the outer edge of the fountain. She slipped a bit, and Lost was sure to catch her against him. It ended up with his arms wrapped about the woman - she was a bit closer than he'd expected, but he certainly didn't mind. Carefully setting her on the ground again, the dark-skinned youth pressed a soft kiss to her lips. "House?" Asking a one-worded question, he tilted his head slightly. He had something to show her.

(Hm, yes that would be an idea, though are you sure you want to take on another character?)

Isa smiled and walked around with him, keeping her place up on the edge of the fountain. She smiled when he spoke, knowing that she reciprocated those exact same feelings and nothing would be able to change that. She gasped softly when she accidentally stepped too close to the edge. She was happy when he caught her, holding her against him for a moment before setting her down. She smiled at him, returning the kiss and taking his hand in hers. "The house? Sure." she told him, nodding to reinforce her acceptance.

((Uh . . . I suppose I could handle it. As long as all my characters aren't in the same place at the same time, I think it will be fine. Haha, Lost, Life, Zarrah, Namine, Mother, and a new charry . . . yeah, that would be quite the reunion. Rather confusing, too!
I'm still struggling over finding something for the girls to fight about. What on earth could be serious enough to cause so much trouble for them?))

Lost led Isis back toward the doll house quietly. He started humming in that low tone of his before they were halfway there. They entered into the building, and Lost pulled his pale friend after him gently. When they reached Isis' room, his black eyes trailed over her face. He looked . . . eager. "Mother said you could see what we would all be wearing, if you wanted." It wasn't much of a surprise for him, but he wanted to see the look on Isis' face when she saw everything. Mother had put so much work into it all, he couldn't let it wait so long. He wasn't being all that patient at the moment.

(Haha, yeah that would be totally confusing, not to mention a little difficult on your part. Hm, perhaps mother takes more of a liking to Zarrah as the wedding preparations continue and Isis gets jealous, or the other way around if you'd like.)

Isis breathed in the fresh air and turned her attention back in Life when he started to hum. She loved his voice and found herself entranced by him every time he sang. Even playing his violin could distract her if she wasn't careful. Isis was surprised when he lead her to her own room. She had spent very little time in there as of late, spending most if not all of her time with Lost and his room. She looked at him, blinking as she saw the eager look on his face. "Really? I would love to see!" she told him excitedly, though she wondered if being surprised on the day of the wedding would be better. No, she wanted to see the dresses and their suits. She knew mother would only pick out the best, since the elderly woman had a rather keen eye when it came to knowing what looked best on her children.

(Totally just came to me, but maybe Zarrah didn't want Isis to see the dresses or something and she gets angry at Isis for having peeked? I don't think having them fight over their fiance's would be a good idea, since they're happily in love with their respective guys.)

((Right! Mad because Isis saw the dresses . . . and because Mother starts to pay more attention to Isis. That way it's a double-whammy. That will give Zarrah something to be mad about - and her "outsider" mentality from being from another town of dolls might kick in. I'll start having that happen . . . in fact, it might be that Mother mentioned to Lost that he should show Isis the dresses after Zarrah protested against it. That will make it seem like Mother's playing favorites. :D))

Lost beamed a smile as he opened the wardrobe slowly, his gaze locked on Isis as she gazed upon the clothing. It was made of the softest materials; everything had some bit of dark maroon on it somewhere. One of the wedding gowns had a train made of flowing satin while the other had a delicately laced up back. The suits were black, as tradition called for, but the flourishing touches of maroon helped link them to the bride's gowns.
Reaching for the slender white dress with a beautifully laced back, Lost drew Isis' hand up to touch the delicately beaded front. "Yours," he whispered, following her fingers as he drew them over the small shining beads. It was a dress fit for a queen, for sure. ((You can make up other details about it, if you want. I'm just throwing stuff out there!)) He'd been there when Mother told him to put everything in Isis' room.

He wouldn't let his eyes leave the girl's face as they touched the first dress. Lost was enchanted by her expression, loving how happy she looked. There was nothing he loved more than Isis herself. If he had to choose between breathing and being with her, he would choose Isis.

((We'll say that Mother wants Isis' opinion on something . . . and Lost brings her there. That way it looks like they're ditching the others or something.))

((Ooooh, I just love me some drama! That sounds great. Poor Isis will have no idea why Zarrah is so mad at her. We really are cruel to our characters aren't we. :P))

Isis waited for Lost to show her the dress she would be wearing. He was doing it slowly, and she almost wanted to push him aside and fling the wardrobe door open herself. When she first caught sight of the white material, her mouth dropped open slightly and her eyes widened in awe. She saw a few different accents in maroon and smiled, seeing that the suits tied in with that color as well. Isis jumped in surprise and turned her head to follow where Lost was leading her hand. "M-Mine?" She stumbled over the word, for she had been sure that this one was for Zarrah. Isis felt the beads and smiled. The dress was beautiful and somehow mother had been able to form her dream dress. Beautiful lace in the back, the beaded front with small glittering stones randomly placed around the dress. They reminded Isis of the hanging discs in Lost's room. "It's beautiful Lost...really it is."

The look on her face was worth every moment of suspense and waiting. Lost chuckled, pressing a kiss to her ear. "Mother knew you would love it," he whispered, giving her hand a squeeze. When she had been looking at the clothing for a while (he'd pointed out a few things here and there) Lost took Isis away from the wardrobe. "Mother also wanted you to see this." The doll led the girl toward a jewelry box that had appeared on the nightstand. He opened it, reaching in to withdraw a small sparkling stone on the end of a delicate chain. It hung at the right length: it fell just below Isis' collar bone. This fact was proved when Lost stepped behind Isis, carefully clasping the chain about her neck.

Instead of moving around in front of her to look at it, he pointed to the mirror in front of them. Black eyes lingering on Isis, Lost wrapped his arms about her waist and rested his cheek against her head. "Beautiful," he whispered, meeting her gaze in the reflection.

((:XD Brain. Dead. I'll say that they need to meet with Zarrah soon. Perhaps they meet as a group before the girls squirrel off together for girl stuff. :P))

Isis just couldn't believe that mother had picked out such a beautiful dress. She almost wanted to see the one Zarrah would be wearing, but she didn't want to ruin the surprise of seeing her sister in her dress. She smiled as she felt Lost's lips at her ear and she let him turn her away from the clothes. She walked with him to the jewelery box, surprised to have missed seeing it earlier. Isa shook her head when she saw the stone. "N-No, I can't accept that...it's too beautiful..." she muttered to herself as Lost got to work securing the clasp behind her neck. Hearing him say it, or she was beautiful, Isis blushed. "This is almost too much. I can't believe mother did all of this without telling us...me." said quietly. Isis wasn't one for overly fancy things. She loved the ring Lost had given her, for it was simple but this necklace...the stone was just...well it just looked so expensive. Isis looked into the mirror, her eyes widening when she caught sight of herself. She looked into the mirror, directly at Lost and smiled. "I love you."

Lost returned his "I love you" with a kiss . . . that was interrupted by Zarrah opening the door. She had her arms full of sheets that had been freshly cleaned, and was dropping them off for Isis. Upon seeing the couple standing near the open wardrobe, her blue eyes shot open suddenly. The blue-haired doll felt her mouth drop open, and she could do nothing but stand and stare for many moments.
Seeing Zarrah, Lost sent her a slight smile. That seemed to break the girl. Tossing the sheets on the bed, she dashed out of the room. Lost frowned, letting his arms slip from around Isis' waist. "We should go to dinner," he said quietly, looking a bit disturbed by the girl's reaction. Giving Isis' hand a small tug, the dark-skinned male sucked in a wary breath. He looked . . . nervous, just about.

When they finally got to the kitchen, Zarrah was moodily staring at the bowl of salad in front of her while Life tried to get her to speak. When his brother stepped into the room, Life lifted his hands in exhasperation. "What did you say to her? I can't get her to talk!"

Lost looked from one to the other before giving his brother a meaningful look. The pale man sucked in a gasp and nodded, looking to the sulking Zarrah as she viciously stabbed a carrot. "You know, I think we should eat together." Zarrah continued to eat (more quickly now). By the time everyone was sitting and starting on their own bowls, Zarrah had finished her salad. Pushing her chair away from the table, she was about to leave before Life snagged her hand and kept her there. Needless to say, it was a rather tense meal.

Isis moved closer when her words were met with a welcoming action. She made to wrap her arms around him when the door to the room suddenly opened. Turning to see Zarrah there, Isis smiled though her cheeks were stained pink. She shouldn't be embarrassed at having been caught kissing Lost. After all, Zarrah and Life did it in front of the other couple quite often. Isis opened her mouth to greet her best friend but frowned when Zarrah suddenly threw the linen onto the bed and left so suddenly. Isis wasn't used to Zarrah being this way. Once again, she held her tongue when Lost mentioned going to dinner.

Isis couldn't get the nervous look on Lost's face out of her head. Why had he looked that way after Zarrah had left? And what on earth had Zarrah been so upset about? Isis felt at a loss and she didn't like it. The look shared between brothers told her that it had been something she had done even if she hadn't realized she had been doing something terrible. Isis sat down across from Zarrah and watched her silently, almost feeling afraid of the intensity of Zarrah's actions. "What's going on with you Zarrah. What's wrong?" she asked her friend. Isis wanted to make amends for whatever it might of been that she had done.

Zarrah finally dropped her fork back into her bowl. Life had forced her to stay, though she wasn't doing anything other than stirring the last leaf around in the bottom of her salad bowl. Her blue eyes filled with frustration as she clenched her hands on the tabletop. "You should have waited!"
Even Life was startled as she slammed her open palms down, making a few forks skitter across the table. From where he was sitting, the pale doll reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder. Zarrah brushed it off. "You'd think that it would be an unspoken agreement, wouldn't it?" She took a shaky breath. "Why didn't you wait for me? The dresses aren't supposed to be seen until the wedding!" She turned her gaze to Lost angrily. "I thought Mother had agreed with that!"
Lost shook his head ever so slightly.
"So she didn't tell me?"

Isis jumped in surprise, not expecting such a reaction from Zarrah. Isis honestly had no idea that Mother may not have wanted them to see the dresses until the wedding. "I'm sorry Zarrah. I...I didn't know." She whispered pathetically. Isis had simply assumed that Zarrah had seen the dresses and the suits already, it made sense since Lost had been showing her, Life must have done the same. Her eyes filled with tears, seeing just how upset her best friend and sister was. Isis was confused. If mother hadn't told Zarrah that they could see the dresses, how was it Lost's fault. "Now wait a minute Zarrah. There's no need to get angry with Lost." Isis would stand up for her soon to be husband, even if it meant she had to stand up to Zarah. "I didn't know, and you didn't either I guess, so no one is really in the wrong here."

Lost mumbled something about Mother agreeing to let Isis see the clothing. It was true: he'd spoken to the older woman about it, and though Zarrah had disagreed, she'd given permission for them to see the dresses before the wedding. Somehow Zarrah hadn't heard the message. She was pissed because, at that moment, it seemed as though Mother hadn't cared enough to mention it.
"I-I-" Zarrah stuttered over her words, her usually pale face lit up with anger. Her rosy features broke into a crushed expression before she stood, forcing her way over Life's lap hurriedly. "I need to be alone."

As Zarrah left, Lost and Life exchanged glances. Life had noticed Zarrah's irritation when it came to Mother, but no one knew what was causing it. "Sorry about that," Life said quietly, clearing his throat. "I'll go and talk to her. I'll try to make some sense out of this." Wiping his mouth demurely with a napkin, the pale doll left the table.
Lost slid a hand into Isis', his black eyes narrowing. "Mother must not have told her," he said, looking at Zarrah's empty bowl. "She's offended."

Being angry with mother had nothing to do with jumping down Lost's throat over the wedding dresses. Maybe mother had simply forgotten, thinking that Zarrah would have known they were allowed to see the dresses. It wasn't her fault Lost had taken her, and Zarrah was over reacting just a little too much in her opinion. She looked up when Life Excused himself. She sighed softly and looked at Lost when she felt him slide his hand into her own. She gently squeezed his hand and looked at him sadly. "I hate having her so angry, but she didn't need to be that way with you. The least she could have done was apologize. It's not our fault she didn't know. Maybe mother thought she had heard and didn't think to make sure?" she asked, though she had noticed mother had been acting differently lately, both towards her and to Zarrah as well. "Offended or not...Maybe she should be yelling at mother instead of us." she exclaimed, her cheeks turning pink out of exasperation.
