((*cough cough* No, no worries. It's me. Just lazy, procrastinating me. xD I'll work on a post right now...

Kilia ... is that avi a representation of the girly from Frozen? :O))

---------- Post added 12-25-2013 at 05:54 PM ----------

((Once I get Snow away from Villain, I'll have him run into Calla. Hehe, they're both pretty messed up from their losses, and Snow is just the kind of person who might actually listen to the girl. Poor thing. D: Seth, stop being mean to her! T__T))

Snow's colorless eyes flickered up to Villain in surprise. So there was something left from Ink Stain's reign. The doll slowly stiffened, finding his blades in his hands before he could think about it. "I was drawn here," he said with a hiss, glancing at the rat-like creatures. "Out of curiosity. I can feel your presence."

Standing his ground, Snow lifted a blade and gestured to the monstrosities. "Do you control them, now?"

-

Seth heard the commotion. Standing, the male immediately caught sight of the creature and hooded doll as they crashed toward the ground. Seth moved toward the doll, frowning a bit as he realized it was Valiant. "A warning would be nice," he said, and reached down to lift the doll in his hands. While he wasn't fond of the dolls, he also wasn't fond of them suffering.

Valiant felt a warmth flow through him - it was far too hot at first - that slowly cooled to a pleasant feeling. Seth healed the doll as best he could, though he'd likely still be sore for a while. "Is this what you do now? Kill those things?" The question was partially sarcastic, as though he already knew and didn't care.

-

"Nothing to apologize for," Kira said quietly, laughing and standing as well. He nodded in agreement. Food sounded lovely. As they headed toward the kitchen, the doctor registered the status of their home. It was a little under the weather, but everything would be fixed up in no time. They were already on the road to recovery! Or ... some of them were.

The male frowned, and was startled when he stepped into the kitchen and ran straight into someone. That someone happened to be soft and shorter than him - definitely a woman. Kira Shoen stammered out a quick apology only to find the girl watching him with a smile.

"It's fine," she said, winking as she slipped past him. She was sure to tug on a lock of his hair as she did so. "You're the only one worried about it, lover-boy."

Kira frowned in confusion, but said nothing. He watched the girl go before looking back toward the kitchen area. "I feel like I know her," he said quietly, as though to himself. Looking back to Bri, the doctor smiled a bit. "Looks like eggs and pancakes for breakfast. I'll get you some if you wait here." Gesturing to an available doll-sized table, he turned for the counter. He returned a few moments later, setting their plates down.

"How are you feeling?" What a doctor-ly question....

-

Lost had been close to Isis all night. He spent every moment he could with her, worried that she might (for some reason) not recover. He didn't sleep well. Keeping Isis cradled against him, Lost even went so far as to glare at anyone who came close. His protective demeanor was defiant now - he wouldn't let anyone near them. He couldn't help it. Lost wasn't thinking straight. Worry and weariness had brought him down so far as to fight against things that didn't need it.

The male tucked Isis' head beneath his chin once again, closing his eyes. It was difficult to concentrate on her breathing now. Was she breathing normally, or was it slower than usual?

Lost squeezed his eyes closed, forcing himself to try and think of something else and get some rest. It proved impossible. He would stay as he was until he knew for certain that Isis would wake up and show him that nothing had changed. Even hunger was a weak force in pulling him away from her.

Waiting as patiently as he could, Lost stroked the girl's arm repeatedly. She had to be alright. He was probably worrying for no reason, but ... still. He couldn't help it.

(oh yes my darling!!! I am Elsa from frozen *bows* thank you for noticing :) )

Briella took her hair and started to braid it as the walked in silence towards the kitchen, of course she left enough hanging in her face to hide her scar. Her limp wasn't as noticeable as it had been yesterday, but you could still see that she had one. She was aware that things were not going to be how they used too but it was something that they all could adjust too. She jerked to a stop when Kira had suddenly stopped before her, peeking around him to see what was going on.

She noticed how the female was looking at him, feeling a strange twinge in her chest which caused her to frown. She never felt it before so she didn't know what to do about it or what the feeling was. As she watched and listened the feeling just seemed to get stronger, as another one started to show up with it, anger. She was angry that the girl had touched him and called him lover boy. Jealousy was the main thing she was feeling though.

"She seemed like she knows you." Briella mumbled as she avoided eye contact with him. "That sounds nice." says with a forced smile as she watched him leave to go get the food. She didn't sit down right away, instead she went to go get them something to drink and ended up striking up a conversation with a fellow female doll. Having explained to her what she was feeling, she then learned that it was because she was jealous and this made her feel a bit better but she couldn't exactly why she was feeling jealous of something so innocent.

Briella got back to the table before Kira did, having set their drinks down as she pondered over this new found feeling and as to why she was feeling it. She jerked at the sound of plates being set on the table, smiling as she saw the food before glancing at Kira. "Oh i am doing fine...just a bit sore and stuff. Anyways how are you doing? I mean you were working so hard yesterday and everything." she said to him sounding nervous and a bit awkward.

Isis could sense Lost next to her even though she was out cold. It was like a blanket, a security she could feel. Comfortable and safe. That was Lost. Even though he didn't say much, though he had opened up a lot since they had first met, she loved him to no end.

Feeling a pressure on her head, Isis figured he had tucked her under his chin again. He did that sometimes when they slept. Isis felt herself wake up, her mind churning and working overtime to get her to wake up, but she didn't want that. Sleep was good, and she didn't hurt as much when she was asleep.

With an internal sigh after a few minutes, Isis let her body wake up, gritting her teeth when she felt stiff pain reach her nervous system. "Lost?" She said, speaking softly. Her throat felt like a desert, or what she assumed it would be like in such a place. Dry and dusty.

"She seemed like she knows you."

Kira nodded slowly at the comment. "I think we knew one another years ago. Before I pursued my work." His blue eyes returned to Bri's face. The doctor pushed his glasses back up his nose as he listened to his friend, finally smiling a bit when she was finished. "Doing fine is much better than staggering around and not knowing what will happen next."

He began to eat, suddenly realizing how hungry he was. "I'm fine as well." Kira tilted his head a bit, smiling. "Tired. But I'll be right as rain in a few days time." Kira made an effort to ignore the nervousness in Briella's voice. It was charming, in its own way. It was sweet of her to try and talk.

"You know," Shoen finished chewing a bite of pancake before continuing, "I could use a walk after this. Do you think you'll be up for it?"

-

Lost jolted from a half-sleeping state. His hand immediately rested on the woman's cheek, and he squeezed his eyes shut. "Isis," he breathed, sounding equally relieved and tortured to hear the weakness in her voice. He was silent for a while before realizing that no, he wasn't dreaming.

"Are you okay?" It didn't sound like a deeply touching question, but Lost's tone carried more worry than any flamboyant words and questioning ever could. As though suddenly remembering something, Lost reached for the bottle of water that one of the medical staff had brought him hours prior. "Sound thirsty."

Carefully cradling Isis against him, Lost lifted the water bottle to her lips. His black eyes watched her eagerly.

((x__x Don't know what to do with them. Gotta find a plot for them... hmm. Maybe we can link them to Snow, too....))

Feeling Lost's body jump, Isis felt guilty. Had he been awake the entire time she had been asleep? She was positive that he had, and if so he really needed some rest. Isis sighed softly, turning her head and leaning into his touch. How long had she been sleeping? All she could really remember was small flashes of other dolls and then a blinding pain.

Isis opened her eyes slowly, blinking as the light in the room hurt her eyes. She would need to let them adjust. When he said she sounded thirsty, Isis felt her throat get a little more dry. She was parched, like a flower desperately in need of some rain.

"Yes" she croaked out softly, parting her lips enough to let some water fall into her mouth. The liquid felt cool, and soothing as she swallowed, wanting to drink greedily even though she knew she should drink slowly. "Happened?" she asked, frowning a little as she tried to say 'what' but couldn't get the word out. She was sounding a little like Lost did sometimes.

((Haha, she'll be devastated to know that Mother is gone. And yes, something should happen. Poor things. I was reading back from the very beginning in this thread. Isis and Lost have been through so much!))

((So much. Poor babies. *hugs them all and kisses them* And they've changed so much... but their relationship is so genuine, and they are so unique. It's hard to just abandon them and move on to different characters. D: Gotta find out what else to do with them. Hmm. I actually might have an idea.... but it would require a wee bit of sorrow....

And awww. Awww. Isis talking like Lost. <3 My goodness, so cute.))

Lost carefully helped Isis drink, taking a sip of his own before setting the water bottle aside. He'd give her more in a few moments. At Isis' oddly-phrased question, the male ran a hand over Isis' pale hair.

"We won." His tone was suddenly guarded, and he stiffened. He wouldn't be able to tell her about Mother. Not yet. Not while she was still so weak. Lost frowned, his embrace tightening a bit. "Stain is gone. House being repaired." He wasn't telling her everything.

His black eyes drifted down to Isis' face as he shifted so he could see her better. She looked so tired....

"So much death." His whispered words were full of pain, and then his gaze shifted to relief. He hadn't lost Isis. Lost gently brushed a smear away from Isis' pale cheek. "Keep thinking I'm losing you." It was strange, this fear. While there was strength in having a loved one, there was also immense weakness. By bonding with Isis so closely, he now feared her loss more than anything he'd ever feared before.

Lost reached for the water again. Lifting it to Isis' lips, he watched her closely.

"Maybe you two were dating back then and she has waited for you all this time." Briella let the words slip from her mouth before she could even realize what she was saying, she could hear the bitterness leak into her voice just a little bit as she cut the middle of her pancakes out, eating it before pouring syrup in the hole. "Ah this is very true....but I would still do it considering everything that had happened." she forces a smile on her face once more, trying to sound as happy as she could.

"But as i said you should worry about your self not me. After all you work so hard....you fell a sleep last night before you could eat anything." she said to him, playing with her food some before eating some more of it. She wasn't really feeling hungry at the moment as he mind was else where, with each smile, and tilt of Kira's head, she couldn't help but feel full of warm emotions. "I got plenty of rest, so my leg isn't bothering me that much. So yes i would like to go for a walk with you." the worlds slipped out of her lips as soft and delicate as she appeared, a light dusting of pink was on her face as she blushed. She was enjoying this, though that was soon ruined as she frowns slightly, thinking back to the girl earlier. She wondered who she was and just what her relationship was with Kira. Mainly wanting to know from jealousy and only partially from curiosity.

((Haha, it is cute isn't it!! Haha, oh no! Not more sorrow!! XD It's not like we haven't given them enough of it since the beginning. lol, what did you have in mind?))

Isis felt relieved when she heard the good news. They had won! Isis glanced around them for moment, wondering where mother was. The woman, Isis was sure, would have been waiting for her to wake up. Then again, perhaps there were a lot of other injured dolls that needed her attention much more than she did.

Isis looked up at Lost, frowning a little. Something was wrong, she could see it in the way he had tensed up and how he was looking at her. When he murmured there had been so much death, Isis paled. Had Life and Zarrah perished in the fight? What about Calla?

The blonde doll was just too tired to ask the questions she wanted answered. They would have to wait until later when she felt up to spitting out more than two word questions. "I'm still here....no worry much." She blushed a little, color flooding back to her cheeks for a few minutes. She felt silly for not being able to form proper sentences.

She happily accepted the water again, slowing her pace down this time to be able to breathe and not hurt her stomach from drinking it too fast.

(HOLY CRAP, ACTIVITY EXPLOSION?!? Now I'm the one who's behind ;n;)

Villain nodded at the question, a small smile coming on his face though it lacked any warmth, his gaze flicking to the other's blades as he said, "Yes. It's not the same as with Stain, they all possess a sense of self now... but they fear and respect my strength enough to flock to my banner... or be forced to do so. Those who resist will be crushed, just like all the rest. So, tell me Snow... will you swear allegiance to me as well... or will these ones be feasting upon your bones?"

Valiant tensed as he was picked up, not enjoying it and seemed ready to attack until he felt the healing energies. His eyes shut as he sighed, wincing a bit as he said, "You're fairly rubbish at this." Once healed, he gave a practiced feel over of his arm, clenching his fist as he said, "Yes, I kill them. I'm responsible for this, all of it... only fitting that I try to make it at least a little bit right, and it's my burden to bear." Looking up, he frowned as he asked, "And what about you? I've observed you and your behavior... take some advice, don't push away those you have over that which you've lost. I was gifted with power not that different from you and Mother's... my Mother's... don't turn to despair. You've seen what I could do when I did, imagine how much worse it would be if you became a monster?"

The doctor blinked suddenly at his friend's words. Her bitterness was difficult to ignore. "Perhaps that's it." Now that he was thinking of it, this girl was someone very familiar. He'd probably been a part of her life around the time he'd first come to life.

Kira watched Briella closely as she cut into her food, forcing smiles and trying to sound happy. This was so strange for her. He was relieved when the girl began to brighten after his mention of a walk.

"I'm glad," he said quietly, taking another bite. Kira watched Bri's face as a light blush spread over her features, brightening her and making her look all the more beautiful. The moment the girl's face fell again, Kira lowered his fork. "We should do this every morning. Breakfast, and a walk. I would enjoy having your company on a regular basis, Bri."

That might brighten her up.

Kira finished off most of his food, watching as Bri did the same. It was time for a walk. He stood, taking their dishes back to the kitchen. After washing them swiftly, the doctor returned and offered a hand to pull Briella to her feet. "Do you need anything before we leave?" Tucking Bri's hand into the crook of his arm, Kira offered a gentle smile.

-

Lost stroked Isis' hair. He could see her pale skin, and how frightened she looked. He shouldn't be cruel. He should just avoid mentioning anything until she was ready to sit up on her own. The male gave Isis a slight smile as she murmured to him.

"I know." He kissed the side of her head, and set the water aside when Isis was finished. Lost tucked the woman's head under his chin again, whispering to her. "I try not to worry." It was impossible, but he tried.

Ushering Isis to rest again, Lost sat silent for a while. He wanted her to recover. The best way to do that was to get her food and rest, and keep her warm. With a slight frown, Lost slipped his arms around the blonde. He grit his teeth and lifted her, ignoring the weariness he felt as he did so. He didn't want to cause the girl pain, but they needed to get back to their room. That would be the best place for rest and recuperation.

Lost carried Isis through the house, ignoring the strange looks they received from those that passed. Once they were in their room, Lost gently set his wife of the bed and leaned against it. Moving had taken all his energy left over from the battle. Waiting for a moment, the male glanced toward the door. He needed to get food and water. He didn't want to leave Isis alone, though.

With a look of hesitation, Lost brushed Isis' arm gently. "Be back."

He would return shortly.

((Well. I wish I would have written my idea down. .__. Hmm. *thinks hard* I remember thinking I would link them to Snow. And ... perhaps sticking Snow in there with them. And then having him cause trouble, and potentially take Lost from Isis.... T___T Dramatically, of course. He is evil now.))
-

((@Grax: I'm pretty sure no one but me is the only one who's ever behind in this rp... *cough* You guys are so diligent. I appreciate your patience and love for this rp. <3 And dat siggy! RP IN THE SIGNATURE! haha, I wish I could join others .... but obviously, I'm struggling with the ones I currently have. *cough coughlikethisone*))

Snow's lifted blade dipped slightly. His eyes were full of bitterness, and he looked ready to spit a curse at the other doll. Instead, he looked at the two dark creatures. They'd chosen to follow Villain. They'd chosen. They had free will now. That meant that there was a chance to turn the tide against Villain. There was no way Snow would let a creature control him again. The crystal in his chest was quite the incentive to hate anyone who tried to take rule over the darkness.

"What does allegiance entail?" The doll's pale skin made him a stark contrast to the blackened ink creatures. The cracks in his skin were dark, just like them, as though his small form was trying to hide the darkness within him. Colorless eyes took in the rat-like monstrosities again before Snow raised an eyebrow. "I've already sworn my life away to one fool. I won't do it again."

-

"Well," Seth looked annoyed at Valiant's words, "of course I suck. This is the first time I've bothered trying." He nearly dropped the doll right then and there, but instead he grit his teeth and continued to hold Valiant with both hands.

Speaking of trying.... Seth listened as Valiant explained. He was going to try and right his wrongs, even if it was just cleaning up the aftereffects. You're too late to save Mother. His blue eyes narrowed, but he kept the stinging words to himself. Whatever his mental remarks said, it was rather ... well, valiant of the doll to try and repair what he'd done.

As Valiant's attention turned to him, the male scowled. "Thanks for the advice." His words were sarcastic, and bitter. Of course what Valiant said was wise - if someone with the creator's power turned to darkness, the damage would never be undone. For a moment, Seth wondered what it would feel like to become part of that cool black that flowed so easily through its creations. The thought was fleeting, and gone moments later. "I'm not becoming a monster, Valiant. I'm just ... not happy with this."

With an irritated frown, Seth set the doll on his own two feet. "I'll be fine." As an afterthought, he nudged the doll with his foot. "Don't use me as bait again. I don't need any other reasons to hate you."

Villain simply smiled, saying, "Simple, I am no fool. If you have reservations about swearing allegiance to me, I completely understand. Please, take as much time as you need to come to an answer." Turning to the rat creatures, he said, "Attack him on the count of three." Looking back to Snow, he smiled in a rather menacing manner as he began to count, "1... 2..."

Valiant stumbled a bit at the nudge, somehow managing to give him a stern look like a father might give his son despite the height difference before he began to walk away, saying, "Give me a reason not to use you as bait then... prove yourself worthy. Also, it doesn't matter how unhappy you are... you need to be the beacon of hope, boy. You're the only one who can." With that, he pulled up the hood and ran off, going to hunt down more creatures of darkness.

(What happened to Namine? I was thinking of having some dark beasty come out of the shadows to try and either eat her or capture her, but I don't know what she's doing, so next post)

((I'm soooo sorry it took me so long! Work has been eating me alive every day and I'm fighting the flu, and hopefully won't get it but I'm not holding my breath since I spent the last few days with my mother and she's a freaking health code violation at the moment.))

Isis wished she could snuggle against Lost. It hurt too much to even think about doing such a thing, and yet when he tucked her head beneath his chin, it hardly hurt at all. Perhaps it was just her way of trying to block out the pain, but Isis didn't really care. As long as she didn't feel too much pain it would be alright.

The blonde doll clenched her eyes shut when she felt Lost hold her a little tighter as he stood. Why he was lifting her, she didn't know. It just hurt so much. She said nothing, not a sound until he finally managed to make it to their room. Suddenly there was something under her, something soft yet firm. Isis felt much better already, just being in their room and away from all the debris of the war.

She still wanted to know why he had acted so strangely. Lost was hiding something from her, she just wasn't sure what it was yet. Obviously it couldn't be too bad, since she was a hundred percent positive that Lost would tell her if something truly serious had happened.

The doll finally opened her eyes, letting out the breath she had been holding and nodded. "Okay. Be safe." she murmured softly, already feeling the need to sleep wash over her. She was sure that by the time he returned, she would already be asleep again.

((Jeez, they can't catch a break. Can they! Haha, poor Isis having to lose Lost a second time. The first one was bad enough but Mother had been there to help. This time could be the kicker! XPP))

Briella's jaw clenched as she slowly finished her food, layer by layer. She couldn't help the feeling of her heart clenching with every word that slipped out the doctor's mouth. She bite her lip softly as she stared at the table, thinking to her self. What she noticed was that she and he were completely different from each other. She wore nothing but black, and he was wearing mostly white well besides the blood stained doctor's coat that he was wearing.

Though when he spoke again she could not help the blush on her face, finishing her food before she glanced up at him with her bright blue eyes. "Yes....this is rather nice. Ah I am not used to being around others.....so I don't think I will be much company." she said to him softly, though she had to admit that her spirit raised at the thought of doing this with him everyday, just the two of them.

She watched him as he moved to clean up after them, her eyes looked him over, blushing as she realized that he was lean and muscular. She blushed furiously as she hid behind her long loose black hair. She carefully took her hand and placed it into his, thinking for a few minutes before nodding her head. "It ummm maybe a good idea for me to get a cane to walk with." she whispered to him, placing a hand on her bad leg as she rubbed it a bit, thinking of the pain that a long walk would eventually cause her.

Snow smiled slightly. As much time as he needed. You know, on the count of three, anyway. He kept silent, his twin blades ready. The doll was one of the best fighters their kind had. If he fell to two dark beasts, then he deserved to die. Snow relaxed, looking more than prepared to fight. If the rat monsters should attack, then they would fall.

He would not be joining Villain. He would be opposing him.

-

The sound of others talking was a nice murmur to keep away the silence. Namine lingered with the wounded dolls, keeping them company when she had the mind to. It had been a long night. The blonde doll stood and said goodbye to the woman she'd been sitting next to. Her mind was still trying to fathom Mother's death.

Namine's blue eyes were distant as she made her way through the house. She found herself in the room where the bulk of the battle had taken place. This was where it all happened. She could still picture Ink Stain's expression, and the manticore that circled just at the edge of the battle. She could see Villain. Lowering her head, Namine felt her stomach sink. He was still missing. She hadn't saved Hero. He wasn't among the dead, nor the wounded. He was gone.

She still wore her shield and sword, both on her back. Namine had changed - she was a fighter now. A symbol of the light she supported so desperately. She'd thought that Hero would be on her side, too. He'd taught her how to fight. He'd taught her to stand strong in the face of trials such as these.

"How did you fall, then?" Namine asked the empty room her question, looking sad. "We lost so many. Why you?"

-

Seth looked distinctly bothered by what Valiant said. He glared after the male, and then turned his gaze back to Mother's grave. It was true, though. What Valiant was telling him was so true. If he wasn't a beacon for the dolls, they would spiral into despair. They would crumble, and lose their lives to meaningless causes.

If his light were turned against them, everyone would fall. Seth lingered for a few more minutes before sighing and heading back to the house. He hated it here. He wanted to leave. But ... then Mother's death for her dolls would be in vain.

As he entered, Seth carefully avoided knocking a few of the dolls aside. They were everywhere right now. It wasn't pleasant. Seth's blue eyes found their way to where he'd last seen Calla. She'd attacked him. A flash of the fight flew through his mind, and Seth felt his heart harden once again. He stepped up to the door, opening it slowly. He wasn't even sure if she was still in his room.

-

Lost returned after Isis had fallen asleep. He brought a thermos of soup with him, as well as some bread and more water. Looking down at the girl, he ran the back of his fingers over her cheek. She was still dirty from the fight. They both were. Setting the food on the bedside table, Lost headed for the bathroom.

His thoughts grew heavy as he washed away the battle, counting bruises and cuts about his torso. By the time he returned to the room, Lost was in another world. He moved toward the bed and carefully rested behind Isis, curling around her to keep her warm. He would have to tell her. He needed to mention Mother's sacrifice.

Closing his eyes, Lost gently stroked the blonde's arm. "Isis." He needed to say it now. It was tormenting him. It would cause pain, but ... shared pain. "Isis, I need to tell you something."

"You're company enough with your listening ears," Shoen said quietly, smiling a bit. The dark-haired girl was so skittish. He felt bad for her, and at the same time felt the need to draw her out. Kira wanted to show Briella that she, too, could be just as liked as the others. She, too, could be happy and part of something bigger than just herself.

At the mention of a cane, Kira guided her to the door. "Perhaps you can borrow something from the closet." The dolls kept a few canes, walking sticks, and brooms in the closet near the door. Surely there was something in there she could use. Kira opened the door, motioning to the few different sized objects within. "Take your pick. They wouldn't be here if they weren't free to use."

Watching the girl, Kira gently frowned. Every movement she made looked like she was second guessing. She was uncertain. Unsteady.

As soon as he could, he took Bri's hand again, tucking it into his arm. "I might get carried away with my words," he said as they stepped outside. "Don't mind me. I enjoy sharing my life." Kira chuckled, and guided Bri off the porch. They would be gone for the rest of the morning, that much was certain.

Calla had spent some time with the dolls that morning, helping to clean up and even patch up the ones who needed up. She had wanted to help them all with the burials of their fallen friends, yet she couldn't bring herself to do that. The survivors seemed to want to do that one thing on their own, and who was she to stop them from doing something very nice for their friends? Once she had done a little bit, and her foot started to protest too much, Calla went to the kitchen for a glass of water before heading up the stairs. It took twice as long, but she finally managed to make it up to the second floor. She paused outside her room and turned her head to look across the hall at Seth's door. She wondered if things would have been easier if she had still been a doll. Or would they have been just as hard? it was something she would never know.

It was times like these where she would seek him out, but that had been in her doll days. They had been inseparable and now she couldn't even talk to him. Looking down at her hands, Calla thought about the battle and how Ink Stain had so easily controlled her. Perhaps she wasn't meant to be good, but to live in the darkness with all the other monsters. If she could be controlled so easily to attack one of the most important people in her life, Calla couldn't understand why Mother had ever brought her back to life in the first place. She wondered if he had come back yet, and if he had, maybe they should talk. Being here wasn't helping things so maybe she should leave. Though Calla had no idea where she would go, The redhead figured it would be better than staying and feeling the way she did.

She knocked on Seth's door then opened if after not getting a response. Maybe he was there and simply ignoring the world. "Seth?" Stepping into the room, Calla made it a few steps before her ankle weakened and gave out on her. It was where Seth found her as he opened the door to his bedroom. Broken glass at her side, Calla held her ankle and breathed slowly, trying not to cry but failing miserably. The rest of that week and the ones to come were going to be long and very horrible.

Isis had fallen asleep in no time, though she had tried with all her might to stay away until Lost had come back. Whatever the doctors and medical dolls had given her for the pain had worked well in the beginning, but now the was tired and the pain was starting to break through the numbness. Of course, Isis had no idea that she was in for more pain, of a different kind. It wouldn't be physical, but emotionally.

She felt Lost return, but couldn't bring herself to wake up completely. She remained still, keeping her eyes closed even as she heard him leave and start the water in the bathroom. She must be dirty and grimy too, and there was was laying in his bed. She would have to ask for one of the other dolls to help her bathe. At least then she wouldn't feel so bad about being in his bed sleeping there. When Lost returned once more and curled around her from behind, Isis let out a small sigh. At least she had him, Life and Zarrah, Mother and her sister.

The tone of Lost's voice made the blonde open her eyes. "Yes Lost. What is it?" It wasn't good new, of that she was sure, not with the way he was speaking. Had someone passed while she had been sleeping, someone that they both knew? Goodness she hoped not. She didn't want to lose anyone else. Not today, not tomorrow or in a week or a month. Not ever. She was tired of death, tired of seeing it and hearing about it.

"I suppose having someone to listen is better then nothing." Briella said to him in a small and shy voice, biting her lip slightly as her gaze fell to the floor, trying to ignore the people milling about around them. Hiding behind her knee length black hair. She rubbed her arm slightly as she tried to figure out just exactly what she was going to do with this completely new information about her self. She limped carefully over to where the closet was, looking the canes over before she selected one that was plain to say the least. There was nothing important about it much like she viewed her self. It served its' purpose and nothing more just like she had helped Kira with the injured soldiers that had fought for Mother.

Of course as she was going through them, she had hesitated, biting her lip, worried that she would get in trouble if she had taken the more fancier canes. So why would she not second guess her self or be uncertain about which one to use. It was a plain stick she had settled on finally, giving Kira a small smile. "Thank you......I hope that I am not taking this away from someone who needs it more." she said just as softly as she tested it out for a bit, avoiding eye contact with him, embarrassed about her feelings.

She blushed as she felt him take her hand, looking at their intertwining hands before she followed him to where ever it was that he wanted to walk too, she had to admit that it was nice to hold his hand. She was all to aware of the warmth coming from the taller more masculine body next to her, and it seemed to seep into her from his hand. She felt as if all the cold and numbness that she felt inside start to go away slowly before he put her hand on his arm. "I would like to hear about your life. I am positive that it is more exciting then mine. Seeing as I only interacted with Father and Mother." she said to him, as it had seemed as if yesterday had not happened at all, following him out off the porch. She tilted her head down as she tried to hide her eyes from the sunlight, turning towards him to bury her face into his arm. It was much brighter outside then what she had anticipated.

On '3' the two beasts jumped forward, moving fast and dangerous, one leaping high and at the doll's face while the other simply charged forward, screaming in a mindless rage. Villain simply kept his hand on his blade and watched with a look of slightly bored interest.

Namine's musings were interrupted by the faint, muffled echo of a shout from one the nearby mouseholes that the Ink forces had used in their attack. Within it, a half-floor down on a platform, Valiant was breathing heavily, hands glowing both to give him light in the near perfect darkness, and to damage the beasts he was fighting. They were one of his... one of Stain's more twisted soldiers, Driders, made during the actual fight by taking the top half of doll corpses and fusing them to tarantulas. There was one in the process of dying on the ground while the other three skittered around him, one on the wall, one on the ceiling of a small platform with a doll-sized bow and arrow, and one he was fighting while avoiding pot shots by the archer. He would never admit it, but he was thankful for Seth's healing. He'd been fighting literally non-stop, refusing to rest, not believing himself worthy of the luxury... and it was getting to him. He'd probably be dead if he hadn't been healed, but looking at him he looked worse than before fighting the bird beast, bleeding from slashes on his arms and a stab that barely missed anything vital. The Driders made sounds that sounded like a demon laughing as they smelled his blood.
