((And I totally don't mind being bothered. Eventually my guilt will get to me, and I'll post. xD Like right now! I enjoy being poked for replies. LOL))
Seth pushed the door open, expecting his room to be empty. When he saw Calla, her red hair sticking to her tear-streaked cheeks, the male froze. There was a moment in which he stubbornly wanted to ignore her. To tell her to leave. Heck, to stop bothering him. But ... that wasn't what friends did. Enemies did that. He wasn't her enemy. She was his friend. Mother had done so much to bring her to life, and to bring her back. Who was he to grieve by pushing her away, when she'd just lost everyone she could go to? The dolls didn't see her as their own. Seth was the only one left for her.
Seeing the shattered glass and Calla's slightly shaking form finally forced him to see her grief. He couldn't do this to her. He was grieving, but so was she.
Seth swallowed thickly, then shut the door behind him. He said nothing as he grasped one of the redhead's arms and hefted her to her feet. He'd almost forgotten about her ankle, and didn't protest when her weight ended up against him. Her hip was wet from the water she'd spilled, and her form felt frail. Too frail.
They both sat on the bed moments later. He missed her. He kept going back and forth: friend, or not? He missed his friend. That little doll that went everywhere with him in his childhood? This was her. Why the hell was he being such a bipolar jerk?
Seth's head bumped against Calla's, and he sat beside her with her arm linked with his, unable to pull away. He didn't apologize, but it was obvious that he'd decided against being alone.
-
Lost met Isis' gaze. He held it, hesitating. She looked so tired. Wiping a small smear from her chin, the male looked over her pale features. He shouldn't. She was too weak to handle the emotional strain right now.
Taking a slow breath, Lost looked back into Isis' eyes. The weight and pain in his next word were more than a whole speech could have conveyed. "Mother."
-
"My life?" Kira looked surprised that Briella would be interested in his story. "It isn't the most thrilling adventure." He smiled a bit, and watched as the girl tried to hide her eyes from the sun. Frowning a bit, he gently pressed a hand to her head. "Blink a few times, and open your eyes slowly."
Waiting patiently until Bri was able to look up, the doctor smiled. It was nice to see her in the sun. It would be good for her - it would strengthen her in more ways than one. It was good to feel needed - to know that he could help Briella in more ways than one.
"I was brought to life years ago," he began his story, slowly walking with their hands clasped. They started around the house and toward the gardens. "Are you sure you want to hear this? It's rather boring." Kira chuckled, watching as a few doll children kicked a ball around. For a moment, it felt as though the war had never happened.
It was a while before he started up again. "I knew that I wanted to help others. I chose to study the medical arts, and devoted my time to learning. For seven years, I've been gathering knowledge and administrating it to those in need." His gaze moved to the path. "I've met more dolls than most of our kind do, just because everyone needs a doctor at some point."
Kira smiled a bit, looking back to Briella. "I've met some interesting people. Some of which studied with me for a time." That was exactly who the girl from earlier that morning had been. "I never spent much time with Mother because I was needed among the dolls. You're lucky to have seen her so often, you know."
-
Snow inclined his head as the two beasts rushed forward. The one leaping high was taken down first. An efficient swipe of twin blades took its head clean off, leaving the fighter open to the second monster. The rat never touched him. Instead, Snow spun away faster than should have been possible. He lived for this before losing everything in the fountain years ago. Now, he wanted to feel the rush again. This fight... was exhilarating.
One of the knife-like blades dug into the rat's side as it rushed past him, and the second came around to hack a piece from it's muzzle. The action wasn't meant to kill it. Just to maim.
Snow shoved the creature to the side, and his gaze turned to Villain. With a slight smile, he bowed at the waist, and held the other male's gaze. "Fool or not, I believe I've made my answer clear."

"Yes..." Briellla said to him in a soft, gentle voice, nodding her head with her word. Of course she was interested in his life, after all this was a man that she had moments ago been jealous over. So why wouldn't she be interested in the one person who made her curious about the world and experience new feelings such as love, and jealousy? Though she had experience love before with Mother and Father but that was a different type from the type she felt towards this doctor every time he spoke to her.
She couldn't help but smile at his kindness. Doing as he said. Blinking her eyes before opening them slowly so that she could look up into his face, blushing as sunlight had a different effect on how he looked compared to fluorescent lighting. "Thank you......it is kind if intimidating to be outside and in sunlight for the first time." she spoke in a shy, timid voice. Her bright blue eyes seemed lighter in the sunlight as the darted around them, taking in everything and anything that she saw. Though it was clear that it was all new to her. Even more so by the way she seemed to stick to Kira like a new born faun to its' mother.
She clung to his words. Listening. Acknowledging that she heard him with a nod or sound of agreement. The sunlight seemed to emphasize the scar on her face even more, even showing that her skin was white, so white that the little flecks of dried blood still seemed to be red in comparison.
The pace he had set for them, was an easy one. Having not needed to lean on the cane as much as she thought she would but still using it so that she would not tire so early in their endeavor. She tighten her hold on his hand, flinching as she moved a bit behind him as the kids had kicked the ball in their direction on accident. "
Yes I am sure. After all who wouldn't want to know about their first friend?" she said to him as she gave him an encouraging smile though she did not feel much courage at the moment.
"Your very lucky to be able to have done that. If you hadn't then I would have more then likely never had met you and there would have been more casualties then there had been." she said as she smiles at him. Squinting a little bit as she tried to see if she recognized any of the dolls but was unable to remember any of them.
"Mother and Father was the only interaction I had at the time. Mother had told me that I was very special. Different from the other dolls. That I maybe flawed because of her hands but that I was special cause I had Father and a Mother unlike the others. I lived and stayed in secret. Comforting and taking care of Mother and helping Father. When he needed it." she said to him softly as she looked down at the cane in her hand, tracing the wood grain on it as she thought for a few more minutes. "This is the most interaction I have ever had with other dolls. So I actually think you are the lucky one. To be able to do something you love and to meet so many dolls who needed you. I was never that lucky until now." she said to him in an honest voice, blushing with each word that slipped past her peach colored lips, tucking her black hair back behind her ear as she gazed at the flowers next to them. She was embarrassed to tell someone such things but it was the only thing that she had to share considering he had shared so much with her.
( Esmme: i guess i shall poke you now to get you moving in here for everyone lol since no one else is much for the poking)

(You didn't write anything with Namine and I was trying to connect her to Valiant ;n;)
The rat that was simply maimed turned and fled, screaming in pain while Villain narrowed his eyes at him, but with a small smile as he said, "Yes, you have... you've chosen to die." With a snap of his fingers, the darkness around Snow lit up with blood-red eyes, the biggest of which belonged to the massive, monstrous manticore, though it only had the one eye. There were growls and the sound of gnashing teeth all around as the creatures began to close in while Villain disappeared into the darkness. Though there were many, there was an opening, small as it was, guarded only by another pair of rats.

((Wow, and now I'm the one who feels bad for disappearing!! ))
Calla couldn't stop crying. She didn't want to cry, but the tears just kept coming. The last person she could talk to was gone. She didn't belong there anymore, never really had as a doll either. The only reason she had lasted so long was because she had had Seth. And now that didn't seem to be happening either. He was grieving, and he had a right to. Everyone did. She heard the door open suddenly and she tried once more to put a cap on her crying.
Before she knew it, Seth was hefting her form up off the floor, but her ankle couldn't support her. She held onto him as she maneuvered them over to the bed to sit. Having the pressure taken off her foot again was nice. When she tried to pull away from him, like she thought he would want, Calla was surprised to find that he wouldn't let her go.
With his head bumping hers, Calla twisted her form a little and managed to hug him. A part of her wished she could be a doll again. Perhaps it would just be so much easier. Yes, she wouldn't have been able to comfort him like this. They didn't have anyone else. Only each other. They were the only humans left there. It was a sobering thought. "I-I'm s-sorry for the mess...." she mumbled against his neck as she continued to hug him.
Calla started to apologize for everything. Turning on him, for Mother, not being a doll anymore. It was the only thing she could think of that could possibly make things right, even though it really wouldn't.
----
The blonde watched her husband as he looked at her, struggling to find the words, or so she thought. Lost had always been quiet and she wondered who or what might have caused him to return to his quiet self. Isis wasn't sure what to expect, but it definitely hadn't been what Lost said next. It just couldn't be possible.
She didn't believe him at first. It had to be some cruel joke. The doll seemed to pale even more. No. Not Mother, it couldn't be. "N-No...Lost Mother can't be gone. She just c-can't!" Isis' voice cracked at the end, her breathing turning shallow as she became too excited.
Surely he couldn't be serious. Mother had to be out tending to the other dolls. Maybe someone just couldn't find her and they were panicking. Yes, that had to be it. She could find her for them. If only she could get out of bed. Isis did so, moving to get up out of bed. She didn't get far, her body still too weak to do anything. "S-She's just gone to look over some of the dolls...she has to..to be around...somewhere..."

Namine's gaze shot up from the bloodstain on the ground. There was a sound... a muffled shout. That wasn't something she wanted to confront. Still. It wasn't her job to run away. Someone could be in trouble. That, or the darkness was manifesting in the house once again. She wouldn't have that.
Drawing her sword from her back, the blonde shifted her shield into place on her arm. It was time to hunt. If her home needed defending, then this was not the place or time to be standing around and dwelling memories of the past. It hurt. But they were all hurt.
Namine swiftly made her way in Valiant's direction. By the time she arrived, the blonde's eyes were wide with surprise. The Driders were everywhere. Or, that's what if felt like. Namine immediately rushed the nearest one - it just so happened to be one of the creatures that was focused on Valiant. She came at it from behind with a silent rush, hacking a large piece of it's leg free. As it spun on her, the woman grit her teeth and deflected a blow with her shield, then lashed out at a second leg. Without legs, they'd fall.
Valiant was bleeding. With a glance in his direction, the blonde grimly smiled. "Together," she called to him, narrowly avoiding a slash from her enemy. Don't let their voices get to you. Namine blocked them out with a surprising ease - it must have had something to do with her light. The light that Mother had always imbued her with was coming in handy against such foes.
((Omg, driders. ♥♥ YOu have officially made me happy with the badguys. LOL))

"For the first time?" Shoen looked stunned. How had Briella never set foot outside before? That was so strange to him! He didn't miss her wariness, and was sure to keep his steps slow enough for Bri to adjust to the outside world. "Welcome to the outside world, Bri." He gave her hand a light squeeze, and looked around the grassy area slowly.
Kira told his story, and seemed glad to have gotten it out of the way. There wasn't much to tell. Really, there wasn't. Every few moments he would shoot a glance over to his friend. The sunlight made her glow. It made her glow in a different way than the others would have, though. She wasn't a warm glow, she was a bright and cool one. Like the difference between ice and fire. She was ice, while everyone else would have glowed with an orange light. Interesting, this pale girl.
"They won't hit you," Kira said quietly, noticing how Briella ducked behind him as the children kicked the ball in their direction. It rolled off, and they took up the game once more. They continued on with smiles and Shoen waving at the kids.
"How can I be your first friend, Bri?" Shoen shook his head, looking unable to believe her once again. "You're too kind to not know anyone else in this house!" He got his answer moments later. Mother and Father (who he assumed to be Seth) were the only people she knew for a long while. No other doll had what Briella had - they all had a Mother, but very few had a Father.
"We're both lucky then," Shoen said quietly, watching as his friend looked down at the flowers beside them. Her honesty was refreshing, and the doctor felt himself smiling as he watched the dark-haired doll. She was soft, gentle ... and it was still difficult to think that she'd never met another doll who'd become her friend. He was the first.
"I'm honored to be your friend, Bri." Shoen didn't react to the light traces of embarrassment on Briella's features. He knew. He just chose not to point it out. That's one thing about embarrassment - it faded if no one seemed to care. "You're in for a treat. The sun's out today, and the grass beside the trees is a perfect resting spot. Care for a moment of sitting down?" Ahead of them was a small stone bench meant for the dolls. He didn't want her straining herself....
-
Snow flicked the blood from his blade with a hiss. "Then death will be welcome when it comes." The silver-haired male backed away from the wall of glowing eyes, looking wary. The small opening left guarded by only the rats was his first choice. Instead of just running, the male sheathed one blade .... and immediately threw a hidden one at the nearest creature. Chaos erupted.
In the end, Snow barely made it out. He managed to escape the most of the onslaught, and took down one of the rats in the process. Hissing in irritation, the pale doll tucked himself against the wall. He'd gotten away, but he'd taken some brutal hits. If he were caught again....
Spitting blood to his side, Snow moved toward where he knew there was safety. There had to be somewhere the darkness wouldn't go. That place would be with whoever led the household now - namely, Seth.
((erm. Did I say I was going to have Snow talk to Calla, or someone else? O__O))
-
Seth hugged Calla in return as she wrapped her arms about him. One hand firmly wrapped about her shoulders to keep her from pulling away, and the other moved up to stroke the back of her head. She was apologizing. She was saying she was sorry for so much that he didn't blame her for. The male's throat tightened, and he shook his head.
"It isn't all your fault, Calla." She continued, going on about how she wasn't a doll and how Mother had died. "Calla, stop." Seth pulled away briefly, meeting her gaze. "It isn't you. It's not your fault. Stop that." How many things could he apologize for? Heavens knew he'd been an ass toward Calla ever since he'd returned from college. Ever since she'd become human, Seth hadn't been around her. It was painful to her, and Seth knew that.
Seth kept his arms wrapped around the redhead, grimacing as he thought about their situation. "I don't care about the mess," he whispered, glancing to the shattered glass across the room. "It will get cleaned up. It's okay." He knew Calla wasn't crying because of the water. But there was nothing he could say that didn't sound like fluff about how Mother was gone, or for any of the true reasons that his friend was mourning.
-
Lost regretted saying Mother's name the moment it left his lips. The utter shock and horror on Isis' face was enough to stab a blade right through him. The dark-haired doll frowned guiltily, and he stroked Isis' hair comfortingly as her breath began to race. She was even paler now. Lost's eyes widened with worry as his wife grew more upset.
There was a moment during which Lost was sure Isis would pull herself from the bed. He made sure she couldn't. Lost said nothing as Isis tried to make sense of what had happened. She did what many others were doing: they were denying Mother's death. They wouldn't believe it. There was no way Mother could die.
Lost's grey eyes lingered on Isis' face knowingly. He knew. Deep down, so did she. He wasn't lying, and he'd seen it happen. A deep sorrow filled him, and Lost gently ensured that Isis was laying down before resting his head beside hers. "She isn't." The words were soft, but they were honest. No, Mother wasn't tending to other dolls. She was gone.
His hand lifted to wipe some tears from Isis' face, and Lost still looked both worried for his wife and terribly guilty he'd brought up Mother's death. He should have saved it for later when she'd recovered. Would that have been the right thing to do? Perhaps not. Was this the proper time? Well, it had happened. There was no better time than now.

Briella nodded her head to him, she wasn't lying, this really was the first time she has been outside. She looked up at the doctor, seeing the stunned look on his face, which only made her embarrassed to having admitted such a thing. "Thank you...." she whispered to him as she squeezed his hand back, she peeked out from behind her hair at the sights, even taking in the smells that surrounded them.
She smiled as she listened to his story, she enjoyed hearing about his life and the stories that he told her. You could say that she was mesmerized by his words, by his life. Though she felt like she was not mature enough or had enough experience to even hold a candle to him. As if she was not worthy to even have him pay attention to her. She couldn't help but bite her lip as she looked towards the children once more, tucking her long black hair back behind a ear.
While h er attention was else where, she had not noticed that Kira had been staring at her, seeing something that she never thought about, or paid attention to the glow coming from her and the fellow dolls. "I.....sorry it is just scary." she said to him softly as she watched the children play, a soft smile crossed her face before she noticed a little girl off by her self.
"Yes we are." she said softly as she looked up to him and smiled. She blushed furiously at his comments before she limped over to the little girl. She bent down and talked with her in hushed whispers before glancing at Kira. He could hear them giggle to each other before she patted her on the head and made her way back over to the taller male.
"I....I am more honored to have you for a friend." she said as she blushed furiously, she bite her lip and looked down. The one thing she didn't say was that she didn't want to just be friend. Why would she tell him that just now when she had just realized her feelings for him. "Ah....it is really nice out here. I never knew that this is what it was like outside the house." she said to him as she followed him over to the bench, taking a seat, stretching her bad leg out. Rubbing it a bit as she tried to ease up the tension that she was feeling in it.

(I try, Essme ;) though I thought you were already happy with the bad guys?)
Looked up with surprise at the sight of Namine, seeming to freeze for a moment. He doubted she knew who he was, if she did she'd probably let him die, and he definitely looked different now... but he recognized her... that light. He closed his eyes before opening them, narrowed as he focused on the fight. One arm clutching his stomach, putting pressure on the worst wound, he rushed in, using her deflection of one of the now two-legs-less drider, opening his defense to rush in, his free hand, dripping of his own blood, glowing briefly as he let out a shout, plunging his fist into the drider's heart before kicking it off the small platform they were on, the creature letting out a dying cry as it fell, his fist quickly snapping out and grabbing an arrow the drider on the underside of the platform beneath had shot at Namine's head while the other sword-armed drider screamed, hefting a large club and swinging it at Namine.
As the creatures under Villain's control scoured the cellar, searching for their escaped prey, Manticore remained near Villain, saying, "Seems there's another piece on the board... the true master wouldn't have let him live." Villain's response was to slash out, cutting across the Manticore's nose, bringing a roar of pain from it as he said, "Stain also had powers I do not have... not that it matters. Soon, we shall have access to something not even Ink Stain had, the ability to create new Dolls... begin collecting the black water from the fountain... and all the rats are to follow me, I'm going to the graveyard."
(And now begins the rise of the Tainted Matron)

Calla knew she was being the biggest baby in the world, just crying away like that. She couldn't help it. Despite how he said it wasn't all her fault, she definitely felt like it was. Seth just didn't understand. And how could he, when she didn't really understand it all herself. Being human was so much harder, especially for her. It wasn't the same at all. Getting used to the way things looked, and felt. Doing that alone and having to adjust was so hard, especially when her best friend wasn't around.
She stopped talking for a second when he told her to, sniffling softly. If she had only been stringer, and not so weak against Ink Stain. She would have been able to help, and Seth wouldn't have been so distracted that he might have been able to do something to help mother rather than have to defend himself against his supposed friend. Thought he continued to tell her it wasn't her fault, Calla knew deep down that it was.
The redhead hid her face against his shoulder, trying to reign in her emotions a little bit. She had no idea if her sister had pulled through or not, but how could she ask Seth about it when he had just lost his mother? If Isis was truly gone, how would she deal with that as well as mother? Once again, leaving the house and just disappearing seemed like the best option, no one would be missing her anymore. She would have to make that decision once her foot healed more. She wouldn't get far on it otherwise.
(Um, I think so yeah. I'm pretty sure I remember you saying that Snow would be going for Calla and trying to get her to return to the darkness or something like that.)
-
Isis struggled. The searing pain from her wound as well the one coming from her heart were just too much. Mother, she knew deep down, was truly gone she just didn't want to believe it. Whatever had been put on her wound was gone, It hurt so much much now, worse than before but she wouldn't tell that to Lost. She could see that she was already worrying him by trying to get out of bed.
She made a small pained sound as she laid back down, closing her eyes for a moment. She supposed she was in denial, as a lot of dolls were but Lost wouldn't lie to her, never. She knew that, so she would just have to accept the truth. Hopefully sooner rather than later. It was when he laid his head next to hers and uttered the words she wished he wouldn't, that Isis finally felt defeated. Mother was gone.
The blond doll tried to shift a little closer to her husband without causing herself too much pain. Despite him wiping some tears away, more replaced the ones he took away. Isis worked at calming herself enough that she wouldn't hyperventilate nor would she be breathing too hard or not enough. What would happen to them now? She wanted to ask, but she was feeling so exhausted from that little outburst. Instead, she simply turned her head and touched her forehead against his own and sighed softly.

Kira was surprised when Briella pulled away from him. He wasn't quite sure why until he spotted the little girl sitting by herself. A slow smile made its way over his features as he watched his new friend kneel and whisper to the youth. His teal eyes were full of laughter as Bri joined him once again, and he gently nudged her arm in a friendly manner before they continued on.
They sat at the bench, and Shoen felt his smile grow as he heard Briella's words. "Then we're both honored people, now aren't we?" The male leaned forward so his elbows rested against his knees. "It's still strange to me that you were hidden away. I wonder how many others are in the house that no one knows about?"
He frowned, and for a moment Kira seemed slightly worried. Then he chuckled and pushed the thoughts away. "The outside of the house is prettier than the inside, I think. Especially at this time of year." His gaze moved over the nearest bushes and flowers, politely avoiding watching Bri stretch her leg. She'd grow comfortable around him eventually. He didn't see her weakness as a flaw - many dolls had wounds and weaknesses, and some were uglier than hers. The worst ones were the dolls who suffered from mental breaks, or emotional flaws....
"Do you have any favorite books, Bri?"
-
Namine ducked away when Valiant killed off the drider she'd wounded. One down. Her blue eyes snapped to the nearest one in sight, and determination flickered through her gaze. The male beside her was wounded. They needed to end the fight quickly.
She sucked in a breath of surprise as Valiant's fist shot up to catch the arrow. She'd have been dead. Namine blinked, trying not to let it effect her. That, of course, was too long of a pause. The drider she'd been focusing on hefted its weapon and swung. Namine let out a shout as she deflected the blow. The blonde barely managed to knock the club aside with her shield arm, and felt the shock of it reverberate through her form. These creatures were strong. It wouldn't be wise to absorb too many strikes.
Without the time to thank Valiant for saving her from the archer, she devoted her entire being to destroying the club-wielding drider before her. "Light protect me," she breathed, lifting her shield and readying her sword. In a swift action, she darted in and deflected a second blow. Namine pushed on, gracefully avoiding the multiple legs that stabbed down at her in an attempt to get beneath the beast. It was both the most dangerous place to be as well as the best place to stab it....
A small yelp left Namine's lips as one of the legs lashed at the back of her leg, catching her off guard. They were too fast. The drider lashed out from two directions at once, and Namine deflected both blows. It left her open to a blow to the chest that knocked her off balance. She fell back, the monstrosity surging above her and lifting its club to smash her. Namine cried out as the club came down at her, and managed to throw her shield up. The blow was crushing, and the doll cringed as her arm went numb.
The drider lifted its club for a second blow, and Namine shouted to her new companion hoping he'd hear her. She was already out of breath - hopefully her cry had been loud enough.

((Cool. So Snow will go for Calla, and befriend her... because what better way to get more powerful than to take over a human... Wish I hadn't forgotten that little tidbit. I might have kept Seth as a jerk for a little longer. If he goes back to being a jerk, then he's just bipolar, so I think he'll have to just live with it for now. :/ That means we'll have to find a reason for her to switch to the dark side (maybe/temporarily). Hmm. Well, it looks like her guilt for distracting Seth is pretty bad... that's good. For Snow. >__>"))
Seth held onto Calla until she seemed to calm down. When her sniffles were few and far between, the male pulled back and put his hands on her shoulders. "I've got to learn," he said, looking bothered. "Mother was so good with the dolls, and me..." Seth trailed off, knowing it was obvious. Seth had avoided the dolls as much as possible after Calla died. When she was brought back as a human, he had still considered her dead, and wouldn't face the other dolls. He'd left. He'd never learned to control the same power that Mother bore so easily.
Reaching up to wipe hair from Calla's face, he smiled weakly. Her cheeks were all wet, and she looked terrible. That didn't matter. Seth looked down, pulling his thoughts away from the redhead forcefully. "There are a few dolls that Mother spent a lot of her time with. I need to see if they know anything about her power." Lessons from dolls. He wasn't exactly thrilled, but... he was their last hope for life.
Seth hesitated, and then looked back to Calla. Somehow there was a distance between them again. It was only a few inches of space, but it felt like much more than that. Why was this never easy? Why couldn't they just be friends, and all the strangeness of it fade away? Seth wasn't sure. It was his fault, but ... his hesitation wouldn't leave.
"Do you need anything before I go?"

Lost's guilty expression darkened as Isis tried to rise. Of course, he didn't let her. Softly pushing her shoulder, the dark-haired doll ensured that his wife stayed. The sound that left her lips was painful. Lost stayed where he was, closing his eyes so he didn't have to watch Isis' pain.
It wasn't long before he heard her breath hitching. Lost reached out to grasp part of her shirt, as though it would hold her steady.
Time passed.
When Isis' head rested on the pillow before his (I thought he was laying down, but I could be wrong...), Lost frowned slightly. He kept hold of her shirt in one hand, and brought his other up to cradle her face. He said nothing. There was nothing he could say, and he'd never been good with words. Isis knew that, and he knew she would never be angry with him for it. For many minutes they were still. Lost's thumb gently ran over Isis' cheek, wiping away her tears as they came.
It wasn't supposed to happen like that.
((For these two, I can't remember if we had plans. O__O' So sad. I need to start writing these down. .__.))

Briella smiled, giving a small laugh as she nudge him back, blushing to her self as her blue eyes landed on the ground, tucking her black hair back behind her ear. She poked his side as she sat next to him, sighing in relief, her hand went up to trace the scar that ran down her face as she thought a moment to her self for a few moments. "Is it really that strange? From what Father told me.....mother was making me and wanted to bring me to life but he wouldn't allow. So he brought me to life for her. As far as I know....I am the last and final doll. Father said that I had to stay a secret....so that is why i stayed hidden." she said to him as she tucked her legs beneath the bench a bit, picking at a lose string at the end of her black shirt.
She looked over at him, concern on her face before she poked his side once more to get him to smile just slightly, chuckling to her self. "It is much more then I thought it would ever be. I mean i never thought that the outside world would be like this is all." she said to him, it was clear she was not worried about other dolls being hidden in the house but then again there always could be more hidden away like in the attic or a secret room.
She stretched out her bad leg once more, massaging it for a few minutes, she glanced over at Kira before she rolled up her pants leg. It revealed that she had slightly darker lines running up and down it, there was even a dark patch that looked as if it had a piece had broken, fallen out and been lost long ago. Though for the most part her leg looked normal though slightly shorter then her other one, the line and missing piece mainly looked like those of a birth mark.
"Favorite books?" she said in a thoughtful voice as she looked down towards the ground, thinking for a few minutes, rubbing her leg even more. "Well I like the fairy tale stories.....i guess i like anything that is fantasy." she said to him as she laughed, finding it amusing since this was all kind fantasy like in it self.

His eyes widened as he heard that cry, panting hard as he looked to the archer before grimacing. Reaching up with his other hand he snatched the next shot from the air, still holding the one he'd kept from killing Namine. Quickly spinning, he infused the arrows with a small amount of his light, enough to let them fly as he threw them, sending them flying at the club wielding drider just as it struck. The arrows struck true, one going into each eye. It let out a cry of pain as it was blinded, its swing thrown off so that instead of crushing her skull, it pounded heavily into the wood next to her face. It screamed, backing up and swinging wildly at the air in a blind fury.
The archer grinned and before Valiant could turn back to face him once more, it let out another shot, getting him in the side mid-turn. He let out a shout of pain, going to his knees. Looking up, he brought his hand up as another shot flew at him, but instead of catching it, it simply went into and through his hand before striking his shoulder. He let out a scream of pain as he fell to his back, but the scream was very, very weak. He panted as he looked up at the archer while the blinded drider let out a cry as it fell back off the ledge and into the darkness below, a wet crunch following after the fall. He could barely make the archer out amongst the shadows... but there was something different about it... "It doesn't matter," he weakly murmured, closing his eyes. He knew he was going to die... but if Namine left, she'd be safe at least while the creature would be busy with his corpse... but instead of shooting him, the drider froze, looking away as if hearing a voice. It let out a snarl at the two before skittering swiftly away, up and into the shadows.
Out in the graveyard, hidden from sight by the garden and greenhouse and its own small fence, Villain peered up at the weathered old tombstone. He couldn't even make out the name, but it was clear who's it was. "Grandmother," he said with a sinister smile on his face as a horde of rats had been digging swiftly, making short work of the settled, old dirt. He looked down at the coffin, cracks and the like in the surface from the weight of the dirt. He looked over his shoulder, smiling at the sight of the Manticore leading another swarm of rats that were struggling to push the wagon, a massive cauldron of the fountain's black waters collected within.
The Manticore growled as it asked, "What makes you think this will be enough... master?"
Villain shrugged, saying, "I don't... but I'm quite confident. It may not be enough to make her as strong as I'm sure she will be, but this amount should be enough to get those old bones up and about long enough to get her to the fountain. A dip in those black waters will make her the force that will assure victory." Looking back into the grave, he stepped out of the way, making a gesture. The Manticore gave a slight nod, hopping into the wagon before shoving the cauldron over, the massive metal pot tipping as that black water splashed down into the grave of Mother's mother.
