"I guess we shold head back and look for her, but i don't know if....." Lyna whispered to him, letting her sentence trail off, the both needed rest but things weren't allowing them to rest, she just wantted things to end at the moment so that they could live in peace. She sighed heavily before she let him go and stood up slowly, being careful not to hurt herself anymore then she has already. "Lets go find her...she shouldn't have to go through any more." Lyna said as confedently as she could to the man that she loved, she bent over crefully and kissed him lightly on the lips before she straightened up.

Shiloh listened to the male tell her off in the most neutral way he could. She wasnt looking at him for a little while until he forced her to look at him roughly. She wasnt going to say a word about where she sent Raziel. Not to him. Not to the woman. It would take a great amount of pain for her to finally reveal the whereabouts, but by that time, she hoped that the two of them would be long gone. She shook her head out of the mans hand and turned away again. "Im not telling you anything." She mumbled. It wasnt in a harsh way, it was more in an im not going to tell even if you beat me kind of tone.

Raziel was stunned . . . noticeably so. Forcing himself to his feet, the dragon cleared his throat, tucking the red crystal into his shirt as he let his gold wings spread. "Alright," he said, looking to the sky. "Will you let me carry you, Lyna?" Smiling slightly, his brown eyes filled with laughter as he held his arms out to her. "We'll find a way to get Shiloh back."
-

Jarlaxle closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "So be it." Reaching to grasp her wrist, the dark elf slipped something from his belt. Within a few moments, a sliver-thin needle was inserted into Shiloh. The inside of her wrist was the softest spot to slide the sliver in easily, and it would cause excruciating pain. He knew this. Of course he knew this. He was a dark elf. Drow knew the ways of pain.
"You will regret your decision."
So it began. Torture.

"I...um....yes." she finally managed to get out as she blushed almost madly at him, she swung Shiloh's bag onto her back, thinking that it would be better to get more supplies while they are in town. She met his brown eyes with her teal ones, they were smiling back at him as was her face. She stepped into his arms, moving as close to him as she could. "Be careful...i don't think i will survive another fall." she said to him seriously with just a hint of teasing, but she knew that another fall with her ribs would seriously...possibly kill her.

Shiloh knew, once he had grabbed her wrist, that she was in for one long, excruciating torture. When he stuck the needle in her wrist she couldnt help but scream. It hurt worse than anything she had ever felt before. She held in a scream but it was bursting in her throat, pushng its way out until she actually let it loose with every breath, though it wasnt to loud. Her breathing got heavier and quicker as she closed her eyes. She took short breaths, stifling the scream now so that her throat wouldnt hurt later. Slowly, she opened her eyes and focused a look on Jaraxle as if to say, is that all youve got. She probably shouldnt have knowing he could do so much worse to her. He is a drow after all. They knew how to cause pain. The only thought running through her head was, Is this all worth it?

"I won't let you fall," he whispered, wrapping her in an embrace. "And I won't crash this time." They would have to take a few breaks along the way, due to his lesser amount of energy, but the dragon would take extra care with the girl. Raziel wouldn't hurt Lyna . . . not if he could help it.
Being careful with her, the half-shifted dragon launched them into the air, large wings beating to keep them lifted off of the ground. Directing them toward the town, Raziel kissed the side of Lyna's head. "We will get her out of there."
-

Catching her look, the dark elf smiled slightly. "You don't know what you're getting yourself into, child." The needle was merely a side-bit. Nothing of intense worry. Another sliver-thin blade appeared in his hand, and, taking Shiloh's hand, was slowly inserted just below the nail.
Forcing a thought into the woman's head, the drow seemed to growl.

Where? Where is he?

Jarlaxle let his hands begin to burn her as well, his touch becoming like that of flame. Reaching a hand forward to stroke it over her cheek, the mercenary struck her, forcing her head to turn away from him. "Where, Shiloh?"

Shiloh knew what was going to happen next. The knife had come out and dug under her nail. She looked at him again. Oh god, this is gunna hurt... Please dont do it. please dont do it. She looked away from the man as the thought was forced through her head. She closed her eyes in pain and tried not to think of the pain that was about to come to her. "I cant tell you" The words came out in a painful voice. Almost as if she had been growling at him at the same time. Now all she did was wait. Wait for the next wave of pain to come to her if he was going to rip her nail off.

Thoughts started flowing through her head. Conflicting thoughts.
Why didnt you just join them? You wouldnt have to go through all this pain.
NO Dont join them. You need to keep them preoccupied while they get away. Dont give in. You were trained not to break....
Dont tell her that. She needs to give in or shell die from the pain...
No she wont. She needs to buy those two time before giving in. She promised herself that.
Both of you stop it. I wont be able to get through the pain if i have a headache from conflicting thoughts.

The girl looked back up at Jaraxle, with pain in her eyes, waiting for the next strike of torture.

"Thank you." she said to him as she hugged him as close as she could with out hurtting her self further. She smiled slightly as he kissed the side of her head and promised that they would get her out of there. She looked around them as he flew them towards the town, the trees were moving away from them, the clouds seemed to come closer to them. She tried not to move so much so that he wouldn't drop her, she smiled even more when she saw the sun glint off of his scales and wings. The sights she was taking in was just amazing to her, she just wished that this could last or at least she would be able to do it again.

((:XD I don't much know what to do with Raz and Lyna . . . they're flying. :XD And I don't want to interrupt (I know that sounds sad!) Jarlaxle right now. -_-'))

With a hiss, Jarlaxle slapped Shiloh again, his hand nearly scalding her. He went from nail to pressure point just within her fingers . . . all of them. One at a time, he drew pain from her hand. And that was just one part of her body. A hand.

You WILL tell me.

The black-skinned elf shoved Shiloh back against the wall roughly, snarling. Shadows seemed to shift about the two of them as his anger grew. How dare this girl make me question what I've worked for all my life? How dare she just enter his life and change it all so quickly? Things were still the same. Weren't they?
Snagging both sides of Shiloh's head, he pressed his stinging hands to each of her cheeks, meeting her gaze with an icy rage.

I will pry your thoughts from your mind, Shiloh. Tell me willingly, or you will never think the same of me again.

Shiloh felt the burning. It hurt so badly, it was making her scream in pain. His searing hand was the only thing she could think of while he slapped and burned her, pushing his commands into her head. She was shoved against the wall which stopped the screams because his hands were not touching her anymore. She took a couple deep breaths while she coudl, though they were quick. The shadows were restless all around them. His hands touched her face again. This time they were pressing against her cheeks, making her scream again. Moving her head violently, trying to get his hands off her face, the thought went into her head. She started to kick at him. "I CANT TELL YOU."

You will.

He grimaced when she kicked at him, but it wasn't a strong blow. Glancing, at best. Jarlaxle released her face for a moment, though only to secure her legs with a few clasps that he had left undone. Keeping her from kicking at him, the dark elf settled himself down in front of her.

You may not recover.

Most victims didn't. The force it took to enter into someone's mind usually broke it, leaving the person either insane, or dead. Can I do that to her? Can I make myself harm her in such a way that it won't heal? His hesitation wasn't obvious, for it merely looked like he was considering where to start. Watching Shiloh struggle against her chains for a moment, the mercenary leaned forward and placed a hand on either side of her neck, a strange expression flitting over his black face. "You may die. Are you willing to do that for them?"

Shiloh felt her legs get restrained which made her want to stop fighting him off even more. Her head was hurting because of how long Jaraxle had been in her mind. It was killing her on its own but she was stronger than this. She took his indecisiveness in order to recooperate for the short time he had given her. He then touched her neck which made her flinch for a second. With the dryness in her mouth, her throat started to kill her.

"Stop..." Speaking softly, she was almost unable to take anymore of it. The burning on her neck. The burning of her face and gettng slapped so much. Not to mention the pain from the needle in her wrist. She had been clenching her wrist and it around from all the pain. It was almost to much to bear. "I cant.... Please... I cant." She hung her head on his arms.

"Your weakness is what I'm seeking, Shiloh," Jarlaxle hissed, his thumbs moving to help support her head. "Why else would I be doing this?" Truthfully, seeing her weakness and faltering of will made the dark elf rise. A part of him was eager to push her farther, to ruin her. But something was holding him back. Something created a barrier between him and destroying the woman before him completely.

It only gets worse from here, love.

With another blank expression, Jarlaxle forced his mind into hers, trying desperately to ignore her pleas. They shouldn't have such an effect on me. I should not care if I'm hurting her. But he did. The dark elf felt a twinge of regret as he met the barrier in her mind, an automatic reflex of someone's subconscious that he'd have to surpass. Jarlaxle braced himself to shatter it, to force himself past her defenses.

Let me in.

Her mind started to play tricks on her again. Your weak shiloh. You should hav ehld him off the first time. This pain wouldnt be here if you had.
Stop antagonizing her. Your not the one being tortured here.
I told you both to SHUT UP.

The voices in her head were infact the angel and demon you would usually see in a bad cartoon. She always had two sides fighting over what she should be doing. It had always been like that. The man supported her head with his thumbs. Your weak shiloh. That thought was the one that was reverberating in her brain. It was the one that was forcing her to push past the limits she had in the first place. The barrier Jaraxle had come against in her mind started to pulse and grow in depth. At first it was thin and easy to shatter but now it was growing thicker and thicker. She wasnt going to let him break her mind. He had already broken her body. Unfortunately it was growing very slowly from litterally paper thin to a little wider. It was the best she could do to keep him at bay for now.

"I cant..." There were tears coming out of her eyes while she waited for what would come next. The man would most likely break through the barrier, in the process breaking her. "Please stop... please." Her voice was soft and quiet when she spoke. It was a little horse from how dry her throat was and the fact that his hands were burning her neck. "I cant take it... Please just stop... Please." Her eyes remained closed with a look of pain on them. "Ill tell... Ill tell." The devil and angel voices had ceased their bickering now. So much for not being able to break.

((:XD I KNOW!! Bad! Bad dark elf! *glare*))

"Will you?" Jarlaxle withdrew from Shiloh's mind, knowing that doing so might give her a chance to fortify her mental braces. "You say you'll tell me. Now spit it out." The mercenary's blue gaze lingered on her pained expression, and he hesitated once again. This time it was hesitation to pull away. Lifting his hands from her neck, he motioned for her to speak, leaning back a bit to give her room. Perceived room, but at least a bit of breathing space.
"Speak, Shiloh. Or I will tear your words from your lips." His words sounded like he meant it . . . but his eyes said otherwise. He didn't truly want to harm her beyond repair. Ever.

Shiloh started to breathe heavily. The feeling of him pulling back from her mind gave her at least a little room to do so. She was crying on the process. No tears but you could hear it in her breaths as she took them in. "Ill tell you... Ill tell you..." There was so much pain in her voice. "Please dont hurt me... Please." The tears started to pour out of her eyes. "I sent him.. To.. the edge of the forestline... In the woods... He could have gone... anywhere from there." She was still trying to slow her breathing down which wasnt working completely, just because she was crying in the process. Her body acked. It hurt badly from the burns and the clenching of her fist which pushed the needle in further. "I swear its the truth." Literally hanging from the chains now, she slowly looked up at the man whose eyes were suggesting that he wasnt going to hurt her anyways.

Taking Shiloh's head gently in his hands, the dark elf smiled grimly. "That wasn't so hard, was it?" he asked, one hand slipping away from her cheek. Carefully taking her wrist, Jarlaxle withdrew the needle in a swift motion, moving then to sheath any blades that were resting nearby.
Meeting her gaze, the drow saw her pain . . . and let his own rise. "I'm so sorry," he whispered, still kneeling in front of her. Pulling his wide-brimmed hat off slowly, the mercenary let his forehead rest against hers for a moment. "I'm sorry." Stroking Shiloh's hair away from her face, he closed his single eye slowly, taking a deep breath.
Who are you loyal to, Jarlaxle? Starlyn, or yourself?
-

Raziel maneuvered them to land softly, his large wings buffeting the wind to soften the first touch of ground. The dragon had brought them back to the city. It was time to get Shiloh back.
Giving Lyna a final squeeze, he let his arms drift from around her, his hands grasping hers. From where they were on the roof of a large building, they could easily see the city streets.
"Are you well?" the broad-shouldered male asked, his dark hair flitting about his features as he examined Lyna intently.

"Yes, as long as I don't have to change shapes I should be fine." Lyna said to him with a smile on her face, she stood on her tip toes a little as she leaned forward and kissed him lightly on the lips. "That was a painless landing." She said to him teasingly before she turnned around and began to look every where, trying to see if there was any signs of Shiloh around. She did feel much better even though she was still hurtting but it wasn't as painful as it was before. There were plenty of other things that were hurtting on her but she wantted to save Shiloh, she knew that it put Raziel in danger and he was doing this for her as much as he was for Shiloh, a soft smile slipped onto her face as she thought about it. The man she loved really did care about other people and wasn't as mindless as the MErcs were trying to protray him to be.

Shiloh closed her eyes as the man took her head into his hands. One of them left, which made her move her head more into the other one. It was comforting somehow. There was a show of pain and then relief as the needle was taken out of her wrist. The hand was then gone as he started to sheath any blades that were loose. Her mind must have been really weak for her to give in like she did. At this point she didnt care. She had stalled long enough for Raziel to get away with Lyna. The man was still kneeling down in front of her, but now he put her forehead to his saying that he was sorry, over and over again. He stroked her hair out of her eyes which made her move more towards him. It was still very comforting the way he was treating her now.

The tears were still pouring from her eyes as she cried softly. The pain was almost gone now as well. She couldnt do much at the moment either... The only thing running through her mind now was how could she break so easily? Her mind was telling her that she had been trained not to break under difficult circumstances, so how come she broke now? Was it the agony of him probing her mind and trying to break in? Or was it the physical aspect itself? Maybe it was something else that did it. She didnt know at this point. Her breathing was still staggered as she tried to figure all of this out.

Continuing to stroke Shiloh's head, the mercenary crooned to the woman quietly. Feeling the tears fall along his wrist and arm, Jarlaxle watched as she cried. "I'll be back," he whispered after a few minutes, slowly standing when Shiloh had finally calmed down a bit. Standing still for a second, the black-skinned elf then moved toward the cellar door, closing it gently behind him.
Standing before Starlyn's door, Jarlaxle "knocked" drow style: placing a hand against the wooden surface for many seconds until it would show a heat signature. He wasn't thinking straight, so didn't think about Starlyn never seeing the heat signature that only dark elven eyes could sense. Opening the door absent-mindedly, Jarlaxle cleared his throat quietly, watching his leader for a moment before speaking.
"They're on their way," he said, stating his assumption. "Or they are near the edge of the forest." Just before he'd come into the room, Jarlaxle had sent a few mercenaries off in the right direction, hoping to find them soon.
-

When Lyna kissed him, the dragon's golden wings fluttered, and a dark blush overcame his features. Raziel then moved to kiss her back, forcing his gaze toward the city after pulling away. "Starlyn will have her," the tall male said, his hand moving to wrap around his crystal. So much trouble over so small of an object. . . .
Determination entered Raziel's brown eyes, and he wrapped a gentle arm about Lyna, kissing her temple. "We have to find a way to get her out without them knowing." Otherwise, we're back where we were yesterday.

“Do you think they will keep her in the same place as the last time?” Lyna asked Raziel as she looked up at him, she felt happy around him but she knew it wouldn’t last after all they were two completely different people and someone always seemed to be after him by the looks of things. She smiled softly as he wrapped an arm around her, she leaned against him and just stared out over the city, it was a beautiful view and she couldn’t help but feel like things were good for once. She figured that they might as well figure out where they were keeping her first, then figure out how to get her out.

Starlyn had been getting dress when Jarlaxle had opened the door, the first thing she did was pick up her gun, spin around and shot at the person that was there. The bullet ended up landing in the wall close to where Jarlaxle’s head had been at moments before, she didn’t bother lowering the gun. “Jarlaxle, you no better then coming in with out knocking.” she said too sweetly to him, her voice was so sweet that it would make you sick from just hearing her say your name in that tone. She placed the gun back on the night stand as she finished buttoning up her shirt, she listened to what he had to say, she nodded her head as she listened. “Very good. Is she going to join us?” she asked him as she turned around and narrowed her eyes slightly at him, yes, she was still bent on getting Shiloh to join her mercenaries.
