Ian yawned and said "Oh no reason." Making sure that he had Lucy's attention, he snapped his fingers for dramatic effect, and suddenly he was a werewolf. "Just a little trick I learned a long time ago."

Lucy laughed a little amused, "Is it a guise? Or magick?" Lucy had used both every holloween to have the best costume.

"Neither," Ian said, "I am a true werewolf, only with out the mindless rage and need for destruction. The order has been working hand in hand with vampires and were wolves, to hunt down other mythical creatures that harm humanity. Mages in the order have figured out how to make it so werewolves are always in control of themselves, and so that vampires can walk about in the daylight. In thanks, they agree to assist the Order wherever possible, and a couple of scientists working with mages figured out how to make it so that we can transform, without being bit. Once a member reaches the rank of knight, they are given a choice. Magic equipment, or abilities. Many take the magic stuff, but I chose this." Ian finished with a shrug.

"A wise choice I would say…you are always your best bet…" Lucy said thinking.

Ian transformed back, "You really think so? Because sometimes I wonder if......" His voice trailed off, and you could tell that he was thinking hard about something that had happened in the past.

Lucy remained silent letting Ian think. He was enjoying flying freely. He couldn't remember the last time he had flown in the sky. His wing was a little weak and was sore from the exercise but he pushed on. He needed to build back strength in his former bad wing.

Ian noticed Lucy's flying, and said, "You didn't have to bring me, I could have waited until you were strong enough."

Lucy laughed, "It's fine I know a Forest clan around here where I can make a pit stop there it's only a little farther and I can make it that far." he said as he continued to fly on.

Ian brightened up and said, "Maybe we can start with them then. Do you think it will be worth a shot?"

"Could be they are usually pretty easygoing…" Lucy said as he sensed the location of the clan. He sent a message to one of his friends there that he would be stopping back and to gather the Elders.

Ian spent the time that Lucy took to land putting everything that might seem threatening away. his armor, sword, and dagger were first to go into his pack, quickly followed by anything linking him to the Hunters.

Lucy gave a huge sigh as he landed in a clearing and folded down his wings breathing heavily, "Took more from me than I thought…" He said.

Ian hopped down almost as soon as Lucy's feet touched the ground, and he asked worriedly, "Are you okay?"

Lucy nodded his head as he began to shift back to his human guise, "Yes...a little tired but not hurt..." He smiled.

We could be a pair of treasure hunters (romance possibnle) and we'd be business partners. We'd hear about treasure, go there, kill monster take gold. I'd be a warrior, like think walking suit of armor type. Real hard to kill, real strong, real slow, physically. Average intel. the works.))
