Water and Fire Elementals have been at war for centuries, the opposite nature of them being the driving factor of them. During the Medieval and Renaissance eras, they were in in full control of the world, fighting for control of the European continent. These wars became spread around the world with the increase of colonization. Finally, at the start of the industrial revolution, the wars died down and vanished from human eyes, though they did not end. They entered into the shadows, for normal humans resenting the elementals.
Flash-forward to modern day. The underground war between the elementals is still going strong, especially in the United States. The US did not have the background for the elemental war that the rest of the world did and its human were not as negative towards to the elementals, in fact many humans don't believe in them. Problem is, another major war between the fire and water elementals is brewing between some of the smaller clans in the US.
Now focus onto the two largest clans in the US. They have spent time building an empire and a life in the US. Over time they have created a peace-like treaty between their factions. With a major war on the brink, they wish to try and keep the fragile peace they have established. Delegates were sent to a neutral territory to try and find a way to prevent war.
At the end of the meeting, a compromise was reached. Eight young elementals from each of the major clans in the United States would have to work together to prevent all out war. They will live together and work together to create peace in the country. They all will move to a house in the neutral territory. Question is, despite their desire for peace, will they get along? Will there be fight between the delegates? Or will they find something else, like love?

Rules should be fairly simple to follow:
...Follow all Mene's rules, no god-modding
...Romance and violence is a given, but keep it appropriate
...Do your best with spelling and grammar, spell check is a friend :)
...PM profiles to me titles either "Fire" or "Water" depending on your faction
...Follow my profile outline, I took the time to make it, you can take the time to fill it out
...Try to make interesting characters, I don't want repeat or repetitive characters
...Use color in your posts, helps to differentiate people
...Try to post at least two decent paragraphs; the more detail, the better people can respond
...Please don't make a character, then never post, try to post once every other day, minimally
...I'm pretty sure I've forgotten something, so I reserve the right to add, subtract, multiply and divide any rules

If it comes down to fighting, I guess I'd rather have a simple shortsword . . . Or something long ranged. My specialty with water is delicate manipulation of liquid. I've never been able to use ice, but it's fun to test what kinds of things I can make with just plain old water. I was chosen to be a delegate because I'm calm and collected. I'm not quick to anger and I like to think things through. I was raised by some friends of the family after my parents passed away when I was seven. They were scholars and pretty busy if ever around. I've always had to entertain myself and don't much care for others. I don't care for any of the people from the fire clan that I've ever met, but I'm open to letting the others prove who they are for themselves. I'm confident in my abilities. If anyone can defuse this situation diplomatically, it's me. You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: just some tribal markings identifying me on my back; I prefer my skin the way it is, thank you. Finally, I am controlled by Marlwulf.

Some times the truth hurts and that is just how it is. Sugar coating and beating around the bush will get you no where with me. Come on out and tell me what you want and mean. I'm not a brain reader and I'm not going to pretend to be.. My enemies say that I am Harsh with no resolve. If the marshal art skills want get you then dangers and throwing knifes I carry will. I use my brain to win a fight and skill not my emotions. When you act before you think you lose before you start.. My specialty with water is I can freeze the air around me taking the water right out of it if I wished. If I do I can form just about anything with it even tinny needles that I can use to throw at some one. I am quite talented with my mind. If my charm want win you over then my cold chill over. Besides there is nothing like seeing a enemy on their knees before you speechless.. I was chosen to be a delegate because Born into a rich family with high expectation. I really don't know how I ended up here. I was suppose to grow up take over the clan and lead in the fight against the water clan. Instead I find myself doing far from that. I was disowned from my family after they found out my choice. I was raised as a weapon not really a son or a person. Spent days hours and years training how to kill with my powers how to infiltrate the other clan. So many lies each clan has about the other but when it comes down to it we are all the same. What made a cold heart like mine change its ways you may ask. It's simple a green haired girl with a heart burning with passion. I was taught the other clan were monsters and would kill just to kill but it is a lie. The fire clan girl I met was kind and showed me a better way.She saved me from a battle and my partner who was with me not that the girl every thanked the green haired girl. That day she changed me. That is why I disgraced my family and now play a new roll for peace. Don't be fooled I'm still the bad ass I always was and will be. Don't cross me or else. . You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: I have one and only one tattoo. It is the symbol of my family the great water dragon from our clan passed down to generation after generation once they have proven themselves a true warrior. Finally, I am controlled byMeko Snow.

I love meeting new people and beginning new relationships, whether serious or not. People are definitely my expertise and I can be extremely persuasive with any opinion I have. Until I am given a reason to not like some one, I am very amicable, but once you're on my bad side, watch yourself.. My enemies say that I am uncommon in the way I fight, because I do not fight, unless I truly have to. I'm always willing to talk an issue out before the elemental fists start flying. But when I do fight, it's with pure class and etiquette, always fair and square, with a touch of elegance.. My specialty with water is its relationship with the weather and specifically precipitation. Climate control is a less direct way of fighting an opponent, but when fighting with a team, it can easily level out the playing field, especially against fire. Wind, rain, hail, sleet, snow, clouds, sun, humidity, you name it, I got it.. I was chosen to be a delegate because growing up in a suburban, middle-class family has given me the experience and care for the average person, the working middle class, and everyone who is just normal. This experience and common bond along with my wide range of water contortion has made me a perfect candidate for this delegation. A large part of pursuading an opponent before a full-on physical fight is having common values and experiences that makes the two opponents seem equal despite their differences and opinions.. You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: a small black cross on my right wrist will be a dead giveaway that it's me. Finally, I am controlled byAsherCliff.

Then again, I doubt there will be any guns there, but if I can get my hands on one. . . Well, I'd like to see a few flames stop a bullet. My specialty with water is ice. I don't have the fine control that most people have over it, but I've got a lot of power to throw around. I was chosen to be a delegate because things might just not work out. I'm actually from Europe and I've seen and participated in my share of the war over there. Over the course of these "friendly interactions" there are sure to be a lot of secrets shared. If things fall apart either in here or out there then I'll come in as the cleanup crew. In other words, I'll make sure we get out with their secrets and they don't get out at all. Hello there, my name is Liam Neal Blaackfire. And I hail from the Central Fire Clan. On my last birthday I had 24 candles on my cake. My friends say that I am dangerous. I am unpredictable and hot headed. I jump into things without thinking and resort to using my powers almost immediately. Frankly, I am not a nice guy and can seem distant and rude, but refuse to lie when asked a question. I am used to getting what I want and will do what I have to to get it. My enemies say that I am dangerous. I am fast and trained in karate. If I use a weapon, I use brass knuckles or a polearm. My specialty with fire is controlling heat and creating fire balls. I was chosen to be a delegate because I am the youngest son of the head of the fire clan responsible for this little mission. I was raised with the best training I could get and have worked to become better than my older brothers. My brothers have always overshadowed me and I am constantly trying to become better than them. I volunteered to be the head of the fire delegates sent to the neutral territory, using my parent's position to get what I want. Finally, I was picked for the spot, under the condition that I control my temper. I agreed to that I would do that and have been trying to be better about my temper issues, especially with those concerning to the Water Clan. I have never been a fan of them, as they have always been a sign of weakness for me. I have never been a big fan of them, as for the inherent weakness fire has against water, but I do actually want to have peace between the clans. You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: no piercings, but I do have a tattoo across my back. Finally, I am controlled by Eiiri.

Not that I had many enemies throughout my life, so I don't really find it true. My weapons of choice are the katana, shuriken and kunai, and a bladed gun. My specialty with fire is slightly confusing. I can make people spontaneously combust with my mind, but only if I'm looking at the person. Yeah, that seems simple actually, but there's more. It uses quite a lot of energy to be successful, and the person can't be too big. So someone over 5' 7" and/or 156 lbs, can't be affected. I may, however, pass out or die. I was chosen to be a delegate because, like my sister, I was trained from the very beginning. It wasn't all that grand when you're a little kid, but you get used to it quickly. I also have numerous scars, but over the years, I kepy getting less and less. Unlike my sister, I didn't let someone of the opposite sex bother me. Yeah, I've fancy a few here and there, but my training is more important. If I want to make it in the world of war, I need to stay focused and on my toes. After I leave the war, it's a different story. You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: kanji of love on my left wrist and a dragon wrapping around from my back, up my side, and to the shoulder. Hello there, my name is Therity Rose Ashburn. And I hail from the Western Fire Clan. On my last birthday I had 22 candles on my cake. My friends say that I am aloof and carefree. I tend to be out of control and like to have fun, especially when on assignment for the Fire Clan. I am the life of the party and am sometimes a show-off. I also like to procrastinate and take my time in assignments. I also have a small problem taking and following orders. My enemies say that I am good with a blade and hand-to-hand fighting, especially with fire. Typically I use a specially designed saber, made to withstand high temperatures. My specialty with fire is shaping fire into various forms, mainly animals I use to break up fights. I was chosen to be a delegate because despite my personality and minor inability to follow directions, I come from a high ranking family in the Fire Clan, who got me the position. I was raised in a wealthy family and received all the best training. I was also pressured into taking assignments from an early age and have been working for the them for most of my life. This pressure has caused me to rebel and act out against my parents more than anyone. They wish for me to become more serious so they got me into this assignment, plus it helps that most of my assignments have dealt with breaking up fights between the clans, so I have been proven to help keep the peace between the clans. I don't really have a positive or negative opinion about the Water Clan, I would just prefer to do what I want. You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: I have two piercings on both ear lobes, and the cartilage pierced on my left. I also have a tattoo on my right shoulder blade and a tribal tattoo over my left arm and across my chest. Finally, I am controlled by Eiiri.

I am the one that you can count on to be two steps a head of the game if not more. I don't just use my wit to win my battles I use my brain and other skills to my advantage. I am stubborn and heard headed and want take no for a answer. I am a calm person till some one ruffles my feathers and unleashes the spit fire I am. . My enemies say that I am I am a deadly force behind my innocent mask. My skills with my katana's and hands make me a really threat. I am small and quick able to land quick and lethal blows. My knowledge of poisons is what really makes me deadly just ask a few who got to witness my special mixture of poison I call dragons breath. Oh wait sorry you can't they seemed to be disposed of. Besides dead men tell no lies.. My specialty with fire is I can control molting lava with a thought. Unlike most people I can survive a volcano with ease. Intense heat is no issue you with me. I can turn any metal I wish into a molting mass of liquid fire and use it as I see fit. I can heat things up and cool them down with a thought. Molding such things into any thing I need rather it be a sword or chain maybe eve a bridge. . I was chosen to be a delegate because I started out as a no body from the middle of no ware. On accident I learned of my powers. I was three at the time and had just watched my father, mother and brother being killed before me. I faced a leading warrior of the Water clan that day the only one of my family to survive as well as the only one of the place we had once called home. I do not remember much other than the man trying to freeze the water in my lungs. I was on the verge of blacking out when I felt it. The fire from with in me. I do not know where it came from but it came. The magma from the earth heard my plea some how and saved me from that wicked man giving him a death befitting him saving me from him and others to come like him. I learned from that day on that you can not judge every book by its cover. I spent the rest of my time in hiding afraid to trust others and myself. It took me many painful hospital visits before I learned how to master my power. And a kind water clan member to show me the error in my thinking and help turn me from the weak girl I really was into the spit fire I am today. I am not ashamed I befriended one of the water clan members and I will never forget the kindness that was shown to me. I believe there is hope if we can look pass our differences if for a moment and see in the end we are all alike. I have seen many battles since then and I know that when war calls we all lose. No one wins really. Death is the only victor he does not care who he takes at what age or how innocent or evil the soul maybe that gets in his greedy grasp. If you must fight than find a purpose and make your stand keep with it till the end. For in the end Death will win one way or the other. . You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: on my left fore arm is a red wiccan star. It has been there since my birth and makes for strange remarks from strangers. Though if that doesn't help you find me may be my green and red tipped hair will. I really am not that hard to miss unless you are looking for me in a crowded place. Finally, I am controlled by Meko Snow.

Actually, I do most of the laughing simply because I love to laugh. My compassion and consideration are what people really love about me because I am always their for my friends no matter what. Judging is not something I am known for and I love people for who they are. The worst part about me is my short temper, I could be laughing and happy one moment and then the next I am turning red in anger and frustration. It is hard to control my powers and sometimes I accidentally will set something on fire. I have little to no control.. My enemies say that I am near merciless when it comes to my fighting, once I start I seem to take on an alternate personality and I cannot stop until my enemy is defeated or surrenders. My moves are swift and powerful, most unlike others at such a young age.. My specialty with fire is I can pentrate the fire deep within myself and create fire from thin air out of my finger tips. It is harder for me to manipluate fire from other sources but all I have to do is keep practicing and I will keep getting better at it.. I was chosen to be a delegate because Though I cannot always put my thoughts into intellectual phrases, I am actually quite intelligent for my years. My parents were both high ranks in the Fire Clan before their unfortunate passing when I was thirteen and I had always had a strong since of responcibility but I wanted more than to just follow in my parents footsteps. I wanted to change the world for the better, so when the chance to make peace with the Water clan arrived I jumped at it. Now here I am, doing whatever I can to help.. weird. I'm more on the dark and synical side and quite a bit serious. I don't take jokes well, not can I really tell one unless it's by accident. My enemies say that I am too fast. That may be, but you also have to have great aim to be successful. Mine is good, but it's not the best. I use a lot of hand-to-hand because of my aiming skills, but I also carry around a glock, a 12 caliber shotgun (which nearly knocks me off my feet), a katana, and several shuriken and kunai. If you're going to fight in a war, you need an arsenal. My specialty with fire is my greatest weapon. Yes I can use guns and swords like normal person, but I can also use bullets made out of fire or flaming katanas. I was chosen to be a delegate, because I was trained to be one all my life. Along with my brother, my parents wanted us to be the best of the best. I don't see myself as such, but whatever floats their boat. I've gained quite a few scars here and there during my training. Let's just say that my parents weren't easy on us. If you want to be the best, you have to train hard.
There was a time where I didn't want to train, but rather live a normal life. There was this boy I liked, and I wanted to hang out with him and do girl things like the others. When I found out that he didn't like me, I went back to kicking butt. My parents were happy though. They always wanted me to be interested in the opposite sex, and not so much in my training. It disappointed them when I pushed my feelings deep down and seemed to never be interested in another boy again.
My skill got better over time but, I'm still unsure why exactly I was picked. I always thought there was much better people out there than me (like my brother). Doesn't really matter to me. If they want someone like me, that's what they got. You can recognize me by my picture or by my other markings: kanji of love on my right wrist and cherry blossoms going up my back. It was a dreary Tuesday, arriving at the house where the delegates for the two elemental clans would be staying, at least that was what it felt like to Therity Ashburn. Then again, it didn't take much for a fire elemental from the western desert of the United States to feel like there was too much water in the air. Therity was used to the dry heat, even with all of the traveling she did for the clan. It was only when she had to quell the fighting between the elemental groups in the few rainy areas of her clan's territory, did she ever venture out into weather like this. Even when she had to, it was extremely reluctantly.
Therity arrived at the house, well maybe it should be called a mansion based on its sheer size, dropping her duffel at the large, cast-iron front gate. The red-brick building was very large, likely able to house the sixteen delegates with each their own room. It was surrounded by matching red brick walls; tall, well over Therity's head. Also, there wasn't anything for at least a mile, the house set in the middle of a flat plain, able to see off in every direction clearly.
"Well, here this goes," she murmured to herself as she entered the gates. She walked up to the front door, letting herself into the building. Once inside, she could see that, while it was in the neutral territory for the clans, there was definitely fire clan influence in the architecture and decor. It felt more like home to her. She looked around carefully, not know whether or not someone else was there.
"Well, well, well. Look what we have here, little Rosie Dunne," Liam Blaackfire crooned as he come out of the living room. They were second cousins and had worked together for a while for the fire clan, before 'personality' differences led to them no longer able to be partners. Part of the problem was his little nickname for her and the fact that she hated it. Therity groaned upon seeing him, not happy that she'd have to be cooped up in this place with him for however long it would take to finish making peace between the elementals.
Liam had been at the house for a week before everyone arrived, finishing preparations and making sure everything was in order. He had a list of the fire elementals who would supposedly be showing up, but had not received such things from the water clan. All the same, he made sure that the house had been prepared for whoever might arrive.
"Don't call me that Liam, first and only warning," she warned, an edge in her voice. Liam put his hands up in the air, as a sign of surrender, though the smile on his face told other stories. Therity rolled her eyes and went up the stairs without another word to find a room. she picked the first door on the left once up the stairs, finding it was empty. She tossed her duffel on the floor and flopped down on bed, not wanting to spend any more time alone with Liam than she had to.

John stood looking at the house for a time. He tried to take everything in, looking over everything he could see from the outside. He had always managed to succeed at whatever he tried before, but this was something so far above any of that. This was his first true test.
He took a deep breath, opening the gate and heading up the path. Was he really up to this? Despite any façade he could put up his legs were still shaking with anticipation. He didn’t pause, though, as he threw open the door and strode into the home, huge smile already covering his face.

Titus stared from the tented windows of his mustang as he felt his temper starting to flair again. He rolled his eyes at the large house and Iron gate. "Great just what I need another dame mansion to live in." He mumbled under his breath as he pulled his car in and parked it leaving enough room for others to pull in. He took his keys out of the ignition and took another poof of his cigar as he hung his head. "May as well go a head and get this hell over with." He said as he open the car door and climbing out of his black mustang with the red dragon on the hood and sides of it. He pulled out his bags from the back and walked up the walk way to the house. He stood just outside of it as he took another poof of his beloved cigar. It was to early for anything stronger yet. Though he had a feeling he would be a heavy user of the vodka he had brought with him.
He put out the cigar and picked up his bag as he walked to the door seeing it already open. He chuckled as he saw the back of a man and knew who it was almost instantly. "Really John I thought you where to serous for something this ridicules. Daddy want approve of this. Wow Mr. Business him self is here I better behave." He said in a mocking tone as his eyes shifted to the male and female that was also in the house. He arched a brow as he looked them over then looked back to John. "Great this day just keeps getting better." He said as he turned hearing foot steps coming from what looked to be the kitchen. He arched a brow as he fell silent seeing the green hair and the young girl again. He didn't know what to say as he slowly removed his glasses then grinned as he smiled at her. He looked back to John as he heard the girl speck to her.
Jade stood in the kitchen as she looked up from the counter hearing others. She had been there a while and had put her bags at the doorway just beside her in the kitchen. She slowly moved from the kitchen stopping at the door way as she heard what sounded like a man and a woman fighting. She wasn't feeling to swift due to the weather. She was use to the heat from being from the south and always being warm and close to her element. Here the air was full of water. She stared at the pair as she wondered if it was safe to introduce her self or not. She turned as she saw two others there and froze seeing the water clan member again. "You should take your sunglasses off in the house." She said as she stared at Titus. "You still have a bad habit of smoking I see." She said as she smiled feeling not quite as nerves now. "Could one of you remove some of the water from the air?" She said as she looked to the other man not far from Titus. "I take it you are a water element." She said as she smiled at the man. She turned and looked at the other two still not quite sure what element they where.

((Alright, I need some clarification. Did Titus say these things out loud to John? Also, is Jade speaking to John with that last question? I'm sorry, but a little of the syntax makes it unclear. xD ))

Maddie just arrived at the mansion; she couldn’t wait to see the inside considering the size of the place and immediately she knew she’d soon get lost. Maddie had packed four suitcases, and two bags. All of which were zebra print with lime green accents, and each one as heavy as the last. I hope there is a guy here to help me carry these bags to my room. She got out of her purple slug bug to open the Iron Gate, when she opened her door you could hear her favorite band The Pink Spiders blaring from her car.
She felt rain falling on her head, so using her powers she pushed the rain away from her body to keep from being soaked, and trotted to her car. Maddie pulled up to the door of the house, “I’m going to walk in first and see if I can find a guy that will help me with these huge bags.” She thought aloud. Finally she got out of the car, once she walked in she seen that many others had already arrived.
“Hey um can one of you big strong men help me with my bags?” she asked looking around the room. Her gaze stopped once she arrived at Liam, he was beautiful, for a fire bender. Walking to Liam she asked “you look like you know where everything is around here would you help me with my bags please?”

“Hello, Titus,” John said, his face stiffening a little bit. It shouldn’t have surprised him to run into the Fire Clan Member there, but it still wasn’t the best development. John tried to ignore most of the stinging remarks, turning to the unfamiliar girl.
“And I would love to help you with the air, but I don’t think it would be the best idea.” John chose his words carefully. “At least for the first part of our time here I think it would be better if no one used their powers.” He shrugged. “It’ll probably make getting to know each other a little easier. We could always light a fire in the hearth in the other room, though; I’m sure that would brighten the atmosphere a little bit.”
“Ah, my name is John Brown, by the way. I’m hope our time here together will be most pleasant.” He extended his hand towards her.

On a large, red motorcycle rode a small young woman wearing leather boots and a jacket as well as a black helmet that covered her entire head. The motor was loud but she hoped none of the people in the house could hear her, she didn't want any attention. That is way she pulled up in the back of the house and hid her motorcycle next to the fence. She loved her motrcycle but she didn't want to make an oppression on them so quickly, actually until she got to know them she didn't want them to have any opinion of her, whether good or bad. Only once had she met a person from the water clan and she had never really gotten along with anyone from the fire clan, either. Most of her friends were just average people, it was less complicated that way.
She took of her helmet and her dark blonde cascaded down her back and over her shoulder. Her crystal gray eyes scanned over the house and she noticed that there were already a lot of people that had arrived. Taking a deep breath, she grabbed her bag from the back of her bike and headed into the house through the back door and made her way through the large kitchen. There was one guy she knew by reputation only, Liam, but if they ever had spoken to each other, it would have been when they were much younger because she could not remember. Trying to be as causul as she could, she past by him with what she thought was a smile as she glanced around at the others in the room and she sat down on the couch, putting her bag on the floor next to her feet.
There was a girl that had just arrived and Aideen noticed how many bags she had. Aideen had only the one and it was not very full. She wasn't poor, but she didn't really care for belongings. She had two changes of clothes and a couple of her favorite books, also she had a small notebook that she kept things she need to remember in. It was okay though, she had all she needed and she was sure that other girl had what she needed, it is all a matter of perspective. Then she looked at the others and asked a question that had been on her mind for awhile. "So, ah...do we have to sign in or something?" she asked softly with a gentle smile. "How do we decide rooms or is it every man for theirselves?"

Jade smiled as she gave a slight bow of her head to John. She reached out and took his hand weary at first. A slight smile covered her nervousness as she gave him a ferm hand shake hoping he wouldn't know how she was shaking like a leaf on the inside. She calmed at the sound of his voice and looked to the other room for a moment as she let his hand go. She let her hand fall back in place beside her as she smiled seeing the fireplace in the other room. "Oh, I didn't even know that was there. That would be a better idea. Powers in this house may not be the best of ideas." She smiled at him then turned as she heard another person appear. She stared at the girl as she wondered who the girl was. She loved her style and gave a warm smile hoping not to offend anyone at this point. She turned back as she looked at John. "I'm sorry I didn't even tell you my name. I am Jade Evergreen." She said in a soft voice.
Jade turned and watched as another member joined the small group that was starting to form. It was strange to see so many people from both clans. It bothered her that she knew none of the fire clan members. Maybe she shouldn't have been down so far south and hiding in caves was not a big help either for three years. She snapped out of her thoughts as she heard the beautiful blond speak. "She's right what are we to do now." She said as she looked to John then to Titus.
Titus rolled his eyes as he heard the female's voice. There was no way he was helping her. She should have packed lighter. He rolled his eyes as he looked to John and Jade. His eyes the landed on the others in the room. A grin rose on his lips as he recognized the only other male besides him and John. "Oh my if it isn't the great Liam Neal Blaackfire. What some members wouldn't give for a chance to be so close to the great Liam and make him scream." He said as he grinned. He rolled his eyes as he heard the others making small talk. His attention turned to the beautiful blond that seemed to just stroll in from the kitchen and take her spot on the couch. He smiled he liked her style maybe this wouldn't be such a bad thing after all. He arched a brow as he waited to see what the others thought on her question.

Liam watched as the procession of people walked into the house, glad to have a mix of both elemental types arriving at the same time. He didn't want to have to spend any more time alone with water elementals than he had to, even with Therity in the house. It still amused him that he was still able to get on her nerves, even after how much time had passed since they last saw each other.
As the girl asked him for assistance with her bags, Liam simply raised an eyebrow. "And why would I help you, because you asked ever so nicely, little water girl?" he sneered at her. He crossed his arms and walked to the foot of the stairs. "Right, no powers might be best to keep this place in tact, but I don't make any promises for myself, or the little ember upstairs," he agreed, though a bit unwillingly to John's remark. "And rooms are first come first serve."
Therity could hear the voices and opening of the front door. She decided that enough people had arrived that she could perhaps tolerate her cousin. She slipped silently down the stairs, just in time to hear the comment about him. That made her laugh. "There are many things that can make him scream, he has such a hot temper. I'm Therity Ashburn," she said, introducing herself, while getting a nasty look from Liam. Irritating each other was a two way street with them.

John stood in shock for a moment. With Liam and Titus acting like that keeping the peace was going to be harder than he had imagined. It didn’t seem like they were even making an attempt at being friendly. Why would they come to this if all they were going to do was stir up trouble? John wasn’t going to bring it up, though; it’d just enflame the situation even more.
It didn’t seem like anyone was going to help the girl and John was starting to get a little claustrophobic with all the new faces. Now would be a good time to remove himself from the situation for a few moments.
“Hey,” he said, touching the girl on the shoulder. “Come on, I’ll help with your bags.”

Akira and Setsurou weren't too happy with where they were staying. A house full of Water and Fire Elementals wasn't a good idea. Yes, they were all there to try and create peace among the two clans, but it was hopeless. Even if they accomplished it, it wouldn't stop the war. People would continue to fight even if it were banned. Besides, the two of them were trained to fight, not create peace. It was completely against their nature.
With all of the water in the air, Akira complained constantly. She couldn't stand it. Before they had come to the US, they lived on Mount Fuji (well in). The girl was used to the hot molten lava and the heat that came off of it. The only way she'd enjoy water is if it was from a hot spring. Water was enjoyable sometimes. They had to bathe somehow, didn't they?
Setsurou opened the front door for his sister, and the two walked in. The place looked even bigger on the inside than it had on the outside. If they thought they were going to get lost before, they would surely now. The place needed signs to tell them where everything was, and maybe someone to tell them where they're rooms were. Maybe they got to pick them themselves. With that in mind, Akira bolted down the hall in search of the biggest, darkest room. With a private bathroom, of course. Setsurou followed, not really caring.

"Alright then," Aideen said to Liam's answer. She did not move from where she was sitting, instead she unzipped her jacket to reveal her red tube top and she made herself comfortable on the couch. By the looks of things, she was one of the youngest ones here and she figured for now she would let the others choose first. Her room didn't really matter anyway. "My name is Blevins, by the way, Aideen Blevins," she said aloud to whoever was listening. None of them, she figured, would reconize her first name but her last name was pretty well known among the fire clan because of her parents. Then she looked to Liam with a frown. "I think you should be a little nicer to her," she said refering to the girl he called "little water girl." She shook her head. "We are all here to help each other out, aren't we? I think it would be best if we started right off the bat, don't you?"Her voice was gentle and collected but she has a sort of stern and commanding tone. It was not a suggested that she made but a fact that she stated.
For a moment Aideen felt like talking to the other people in the room but she still did not want to start a conversation anyone just. Her father always told her that it was best to let people come to you if they want to speak. Only speak when you have something important to say. She was not sure if this was the best advice she had ever been given but it was the one she followed more than any other she had been given. "What exactly are we supposed to be doing? I was not given all the details of this mission before I left..." she announced as she brushed some dirt off her jeans. Then she scanned around the room again and found all the water clan people in the room, they all seemed like nice people.

Jade looked to the floor as she heard Liam. She felt out of place yet again as she stood there. She should have stayed in her cave with the magma for her friend. At lest it understood her there she was normal. She closed her eyes as she heard the commotion wishing it would all go away and harmony was found among them. She slowly open her eyes as she watched the two new comers enter. It was going to be hard to get the others to talk much less gain peace. Why she was honestly chosen to be here she didn't know. She was not meat for this. She was a danger when she got made not only to other clan members but to any living creator. She open her eyes as she slowly wondered to the front door and peered out at it.
She searched the front drive as her eyes scanned it looking for the bags that the girl needed help with. She slowly walked down the steps as she tried to figure out witch one of the random cars was the girls. She stopped as she saw the zebra bags and let out a breath as she hung her head. She slowly walked to where the bags where and picked the first one up as she wondered what on earth the woman had packed in the bag. She felt bad for the bag the ground and anyone who ever made the girl made at a airport.
Jade slowly made her way in the house and placed the bag beside the couch as she turned and headed back out. She felt like she had just got in a fight and the suitcase had won. She knew there should be a rule to how heavy a bag could be. She said nothing as she walked back to the car and went for the next bag. She was only 18 and here she was lugging bags in and wishing she could be normal.
Titus rolled his eyes as he picked up his bags and headed up the stairs. He didn't bother looking back as he reached the top of the stare case. He glanced around at the different rooms. "Too girly....to close...to earthy...." He said as he went threw each room opening each door and walking in. After coming to the end of the hall he chose the very last one on the left side of the hall way. It had a black door with a metal handle. The inside was very modern with hints of blues and whites. The wall was done with at large wave going across it. He grinned as he walked in and placed his bags down as he laid on the bed. His arms where behind his head as he looked over the room loving it. He got up finally and unpacked his things as he smiled as he pulled out the last cigar he had packed for that day. He walked to his bed and laid down as he lite it and took a puff. He closed his eyes as he enjoyed the taste and smell of the perfectly aged cigar.

Aideen had grown bored watching the two others helping the girl with her bags. She would have helped but she believed that no one should pack more than they could carry on their own, it was a camping skill she had developed when she was a kid. One of the water clan guys had gone to claim his room and she figured she might as well do the same, there was nothing better to do at the moment. With a soft clomp of her boots, she got to her feet and picked up her single bag before heading in the same direction. To be honest, she was a little curious to what the rooms were like. A couple were already taken it seemed and so she walked straight past them without really taking the time to look, it was their private space anyway. She past by many different types of rooms, all of which had their own unique style to them but she couldn't see herself in any of these. Then there was a solid white door, next to the room the water clan boy had just claimed. At first she felt like not even looking in, would he have a problem with a fire clan girl in the room next to him? Then she shrugged. He could get over it if he didn't. Turning the brass door knob, Aideen open the door to reveal a beautiful room with only black, white and silver inside. The bed was black and white striped, the walls had one painted black and the other three painted white. All the doors were painted black and the furniture were all made of silver colored metal. It was simple but beautiful at the same time. Aideen had found her room and she couldn't help but smile as she placed her bag on the bed and had a look around. She fell back on the soft bed and sighed, it had been so long since she had felt at home.

As Liam walked away Maddie stood there in shock. We’re supposed to be getting along. When Liam agreed to the no powers rule Maddie thought about giving him a piece of her mind "You can’t make rules when you act like a jackass! How can someone so beautiful be so rude?"
Someone tapped her on the shoulder offering to help her with her bags. “Thank you so much. Since some people are intent on being rude! Just to warn you, I think I over packed! I had no idea what to bring so I brought my whole closet. The names Maddie put her there” she said sticking out her hand “um what’s your name?” She said as a smile spread across her face, her lip caught on her bracket which made the smile a little retarded looking. “Sorry these stupid things are always in my way. My cars the purple bug over there.”

Akira found the room she was looking for. The door was a nice mahogany and seemed to be quite think. She pushed down on the button of the black handle and swung the door open. The inside was perfect. It was as if whoever chose them, did a little research to see what they liked and designed the rooms to that. Hers had a canopy bed with black silks draping down the sides, and blood red velvet pillows piled high. A black wardrope stood to the right of the back against the wall perpendicular to it. There was a black iron love seat with blood red cushions against the wall by the door. A couch matching the love seat sat against a wall adjacent to the one with the love seat. A mahogany coffee table was placed in front of the two. The tall windows were covered with black curtains. The walls were painted red with numerous pictures of volcanoes, forest fires, and tornadoes.
Even though tornadoes weren't something to do with fire, she enjoyed them. After all, wind make fires grow most often. They bring oxygen to fuel the fire. That's why the female prefers Air Elementials over any other. Her favorite to torment was Earth Elementials with all of their trees and numerous other plants burning like they were nothing. And there was nothing they could do to stop it except call in the Water Elementials.
The bathroom (located to the left of the bed) was similar in colour scheme. The toilet, tub, and sink were all black. The bars of soap, the tooth brush holder and the little cup for rinsing after brushing were all red. The tub and shower were on one wall. The pantry-style medicine and towel cupboard was across from the shower with the toilet beside it. A red hand towel and black bath towel hung from the towel holder. A black hamper was placed on the inside of the door.
Akira hoped on the bed with a squeal. "Even though I have to deal with those Water rejects, I love this place."
Setsurou peeked into the rooms that seemed to be unoccupied until he found on that suited it. The walls were black, the curtains were black, and the bed sheets were black. It was his favorite colour after all. The only other colour in the room was grey. He had a plain bed with drawers built in, a plush chair in the corner, a wardrope to the left of his bed, and a small table beside the chair. The best thing about his room was that it was dimly lit. It wasn't too bright, yet not too dark. And if it got too dark, there was old lanterns everywhere that he could light. It was always best to read by flame rather than a synthetic light source.
His room had a smaller bathroom. Black tub, toilet and sink, a shower in the corner, and white and black tiles on the wall. A mirror (even though he never used one) was above the sink with a light above that. A hand and bath towel was hung out for him and a hamper was placed near the door. It was like they thought of everything. But then something struck him. What if they planned these rooms to look the way they are to get the Water and Fire Elementials to room beside each other? It would be a genius plan, but one he would curse at for generations.

"My name's John," John said, heading for the door. The other girl had already brought several bags in, so he had to jump to so he could actually get something done. He normally would have thrown his own backpack somewhere inside to get a little more carrying room, but he was worried that some of these wilder elements would mess with his stuff.
"Better hurry and get this stuff taken care of," he laughed. "Or else we might just not have any choices for rooms left!."

((Hey, I got bored and made a map of the different territories every one is from...its up under the profiles, if anyone wants to check it out...))
Liam smirked as he got his way and no one rose to challenge him. Therity on the other hand did not find him amusing. While she knew about his less than polite behavior, others did not know him as well and thus did not expect it. She knew that it was just a wall he put up to prevent others from getting close. A wall no one, not even her, had ever broken.
"You need to cool off. We are here to make and keep peace. Not chastise and piss off the members of the other clan. We want peace. Its the only way we can as elementals can survive here," she hissed at him as the others went to find rooms, she knew he'd blow a gasket and break his new no powers rule if she had done this in front of everyone.
Liam just glared at her for a second and nodded, showing that she was right. He'd never say aloud but a nod was good enough for her. "Perfect, now go and get some food from the kitchen that I know that you have ready for people. Once they are settled into their rooms, I have a feeling people will be hungry. Bring it out to the living room," she told him, smiling widely.
He grumbled a bit more but went anyways, retreating back to the kitchen. He brought back, in several trips, large platters of food. Each platter had a wide range of food as to have something that would work for everyone.

"I agree with you." she said laughing. John had to jump over bags that were thrown in the floor, which made Maddie wonder why he hadn’t thrown his bag on the floor. The two walked to her car together. "So what water tribe are you from?" She asked looking at John he seemed very calm, he had this business look about him like he was too smart for his own good.
