EJ smiled gently at him, trying to comfort him. Dont worry I'm here now and I'm sure they will take you back. He thought for a moment. Jaden? He is the catboy right? Dont worry about him. Nekos can be temperamental just like a regular cat. He will be fine when we get back. The fact that he did get mad shows that he cares in some way. At least that is what I was taught. He grinned when Virdat yawned and patted him on the head. You want me to go with you back to the Inn? They have some rooms that actually have really comfy beds and really soft sheets. His skin tingled thinking of the feel of the soft sheets on his skin.

Virsat had continued to look off in the distance, but when EJ patted him on the head a feeling of reassurance had washed over him and he looked at the other with a smile. "Thank you...for being so nice to me.." Virsat slowly stood, and brushed his pants off a bit. "..I don't know much about cats...or cats that can turn into pretty boys...I thought he was sweet though. He's the first cat that's ever approached me and not hissed and run away. I really like cats." Virsat was biting his bottom lip again, and he looked down. "My master...made me eat a cat once, because I told him I thought they were cute and sweet..." He shuddered. Trying to force that memory away.

It had been torture, and why had he even mentioned it. For a moment, he glared at EJ, then dropped his gaze again. It wasn't EJ's fault he was talking so much...or was it? The man just seemed so...friendly...so trustable. Virsat shook his head. He couldn't really afford to trust someone blindly. Still. Something about EJ made him seem like he was someone Virsat could rely on, look up to for guidance and protection. Virsat already trusted Jaden rather blindly, but Jaden was an adorable and sexy cat. Cats could be trusted without question...couldn't they?

EJ laughed at Virsat's comment about Jaden. He stood as well, not really caring for the dirt. Thats terrible what your former master did to you. But you dont need to think on such unpleasant things any longer. Then EJ quickly moved in front of Virsat, wraping his arm behind him holding onto the small of Virsat's back. He held him close, scanning the forest again. His body was tensed and his eyes narrow. Finding that whatever he just felt a moment ago was gone. EJ relaxed again. I'm sorry I felt someone approaching and I was afraid it was someone for you. For some reason he didn really move from his position. He wasnt sure if it was because he was still afraid for his safety or something else.

"Aah!" It was a soft noise, Virsat had stiffened for an instant, then relaxed almost in that same instant when EJ moved and suddenly had his arm around him. Virsat didn't move or protest until EJ spoke again. Even after those words, the man still held to him. Slowly, Virsat leaned against EJ somewhat, crimson eyes slipping half closed and he inhaled deeply to take in the man's scent. An unfamiliar, strange scent..but rather comforting.

"Mm...You smell...strange.." He murmured softly, his own arms had moved just a bit, his hands resting on EJ's hips. As if reluctant for the inevitable pulling away that he knew would come. It was nice. Being close like this. It had been really nice, being close to Jaden earlier. The cat had been so warm. Virsat leaned into EJ a bit more and let out a gentle noise of contentment.

EJ felt Virsat lean against him and lay his hands on his hips. His stomach fluttered a little and it caught him off guard. I-I smell strange because I'm..um..not fully Vampire. I-I have Demon blood in me as well. EJ braced himself for the verbal lashing he usually recieved when he told others of his bloodline. He actually kinda hoped that Virsat wouldnt let him go. EJ has never really had anyone this close before. well at least not this close and not his prey and what was that feeling he got? It unnerved him that he wasnt in complete control of himself.

Virsat's brow creased a bit, but he didn't let go or pull away. He remained where he was, his hands on EJ's hips and not letting go. His grip wasn't tight though. Allowing EJ more than enough chances to slip away if he wanted to. He was quiet for a few moments though. A thoughtful silence. Virsat may have lived a rather sheltered life, but he wasn't a complete idiot, and he was rather observant usually. A vampire-demon...it was something he knew other vampires and even demons would frown at.

"Good...I'm glad your not really a vampire." He nuzzled against EJ gently. "Vampires are mean and cruel. I don't like them. So I'm glad your not really a vampire." Virsat made another noise of contentment, and nuzzled EJ softly.

EJ's eyes widen when he wasnt reprimanded. What was it about this place? Everyone was so accepting here. It made him feel...warm. Virsat's words made his stomach jump. He whirled around to look at Virsat but left the hands at his hips. Not really knowing what to do with his hands, EJ let them dangle at his side. Y-you dont hate me for what I am. But rather like me for it? The whole situation confused him. The kindness everyone is showing him, the warmth he was feeling, and the sensation in his stomach. He stood there, shocked. Not really knowing how to react. Tears started to well up in his eyes and one escaped, falling down his cheek.

Virsat had shrugged. "Am I supposed to hate you? I'm not really good at hating things. My master used to say that my soul was to gentle for such things.." He shrugged again and smiled at EJ when the man turned around. "..And..I'd never met a demon before today...But Yuuichi is a fox demon and he was very nice to me..and your very nice to me..Your not really a vampire or a demon. Your a little bit of both. I know that probably makes you hated by vampires and other demons...but honestly. Vampires are just racist anyway. They're even mean to their own kind. I don't know much about demons, but I'm sure they act just like vampires. More or less, at least." Virsat pulled EJ closer and his tongue flickered out, gently catching that one escaping tear on his tongue.

Virsat let go, stepping back a step from EJ and smiled brightly at him. "I like the way you smell." He ran a hand through his own hair, still smiling at EJ "How are you called? My name is Virsat." His demeanor seemed rather cheery for the moment, but he was thinking. Mostly wondering if he should look for Jaden before going to rest, or if he should rest and then find Jaden later. Wait. There were humans in the tavern. That cheery demeanor fell in an instant. "..I can't sleep at the tavern...There are humans there. Humans do terrible, horrible things to vampires. How can a place that allows humans in be safe?" That brow furrowed and he looked a bit confused.

When Virsat pulled him close and he felt the light stroke of his tongue, it felt as if someone grabbed his stomach and squeezed. His head became a whirl. He laughed a little. Ya, I guess you are right. Both are quite selfish and actually not only hate outside of themselves, but also within themselves. You care proof of that. His eyes lightened when he saw Virsat's bright smile and he couldnt help but to smile himself.

Hearing Virsat's question, he had just realized that no introductions were made. He smiled, shyly this time, a slight tinge of pink on his cheeks. Forgive me. My true name is Endymion James, however you may call me EJ. The tightening in his stomach started to loosen, making it easier to breathe. He looked at the ground, recollecting himself, only to find his emotions viering off when Virsat's mood also changed. But once he heard his words, EJ was able to relax again. Dont worry. Like I said, I'm here for you. Also Master Yuuichi would not allow harm to come to any who stays in his place. Bold words started to fight their way to EJ's tongue. He held it for as long as he could, but decided to release them. The tinge of pink came back to his cheeks. I-I could stay in the room with you while you slept. To guard you, if you would like. You need to rest and that is the safest place.

Regina sat down at one of the empty tables. Waiting for someone to come along so she could get some rest she let out a small sigh. "I wonder were everyone is"perking her head up and looking around some more then letting out another sigh. "I'm sure someone will come through here shortly"smiling as she said that.

For a few moments the emotions flitted behind those crimson eyes were unreadable. A guard to protect him while he slept. Finally he nodded slightly. "Alright...I'll trust you to keep me safe." He seemed just a bit hesitant. What was expected of him in return? He'd probably find out sooner or later. "We should go back now, then.." Virsat glanced this way and that, his thoughts quickly jumping back to Jaden. Maybe the cat was done taking his walk and back at the tavern already? It would be nice to see Jaden before going to sleep.

Virsat started towards the tavern, and glanced at EJ to make sure the other was coming as well. It was so foolish, to completely trust this man..to let him be near while he slept. Virsat knew that, but it was so very hard to not trust EJ. He couldn't help it. He smiled at EJ.

Smiling as if nothing had happened, Yuuichi just stands there, looking into Kiya's eyes and feeling himself get lost. "You could say that I guess. I wonder if its the tavern itself, or if it is just my knack for getting in bad situations." He kisses her cheeks as he hugs her close, trying to be reassuring to the young Kit. "And no worries love, Angil is fine....she just has a problem. Well, it is more of my problem than hers, she usually doesn't remember this stuff happening, but occasionally she does. But now you have seen first hand why Angil is my ward to protect and take care of."

At the sound of Mira returning, Yuuichi's ears perk up and his serious demeanor vanishes as if it were never there in the first place. Seeing that the girl is the fairy that had visited before, Yuuichi gets the idea to mess with her a little bit. "Why look if it isn't our little Fae friend. I see that you fond your way back, should I get together a child's room for you?" He winks at her, enjoying his little joke to her.

Regina closed her eyes and focused on the various emotions and presence in the tavern. Someone else new had arrived whose blood did smell define but she decided to ignore that thought.

EJ smiled when Virsat allowed him to guard him. However he was concerned with the hesitation in his voice. Does he not really want me to? Or maybe he is just being cautious. EJ shrugged and started to follow Virsat back to the Tavern. Virsat was strangely silent and EJ was fighting within himself to look and see what he was thinking about. Its only a peek...I wont see too much...I'm just worried about him... Loosing against himself he took a slight glimpse, however what he saw made his stomach drop like a rock. He was thinking about Jaden. Wait why do I feel like this..this feeling is.... jealousy? Why am I feeling like this? During for most of the walk, his mind dwells on his emotions. Then His mind swapped to the elvin girl. Oh crap. Upstairs is the girl. Hopefully the smell isnt too bad I would hate to cause more issues for Master Yuuichi.

Regina could sense both Virsat and EJ returning to the tavern but her mind was still very distracted by that wonderful scent of Fae blood.

As they neared the tavern, Virsat looked this way and that. His gaze scanning over every inch of the surrounding area in search of the cat. Though he was tired and the sun was shinning, it made him tired and slightly dulled his senses. Still he looked as hard as he could. He really didn't want Jaden to be angry with him and really wanted them to be able to be friends. Virsat didn't stop though until he had reached the tavern door. There he paused. Hesitating. He turned to look at EJ.

Innocent crimson eyes were slightly wide. "...I hadn't asked Yuuichi for a room...I'm not sure I have enough money to pay for one either...." Virsat bit his bottom lip for a moment, looking down. "...Would it be...to bold of me to ask if I could sleep in your room?" There he went. Asking to stay in this man's room. He didn't even know this man. What if he wasn't as nice and trusting as he seemed? Virsat didn't want to think of that possibility. He would take his chances.

EJ was deep within his thoughts when Virsat suddenly stopped. Luckily he was just a couple of paces behind him, so he didnt run right into him. He looked at him with wide eyes, confused what was going on. He gave Virsat a gentle smile when he asked such an innocent question. He is just too adorable. He put his hand on his head. I'm sure Master Yuuichi wouldnt have a problem working with you but you re also welcome to stay in my room since I already have one. I have rested so I wont need it for a while.

Virsat had looked at EJ with a soft smile. "...Honestly...I'm not used to sleeping by myself..." He shifted on his feet just slightly, then he had slipped off to the side, then behind EJ. "I think...the humans are still in there...You should go in first." Virsat had drawn back just slightly, that had been rather rude. Telling EJ to go in first so he could use the man as a shield. But..EJ had said he'd keep him safe. Virsat shook his head slightly. "I'm sorry! That was so rude, I shouldn't have said that."

"So she will be okay right Yuu-kun?" she asked in a worried tone lifting her head from his chest and looking up at him. She was still unsure about the woman Yuu-kun said she would be alright, it was just a little problem but to her there seemed more to it then he was willing to let on. Before she could say another word the door opened and in came a Fae, she was a cute little thing, which made Kiya aware of the fact that she was in Yuu-kuns arms, though she didn't pull away. She didn't want to "hello miss" she greeted her with a smile

"Actually that type of room would suit me very well" she said with a small smile joining right in with the teasing, the man looked happy. But then he was hugging a pretty young Kitsune what wasn't there to be happy about. "Should I leave the two of you alone and come back later when my room is ready" she teased back flapping her wings lazily to keep flight. They do look cute together though don't they she thought with a small smile flying over to a stool and taking a seat.

Yuuichi laughs a bit at Mira's quick comeback. "I will see to it we get a room like that ready for you. In the meantime, is there anything you would like?" He bows his head slightly to her before looking back at Kiya. "Kiya, if I had any reason to doubt that she would be fine, I wouldn't be letting her out of my sight." He hugs her a tinge tighter for a moment, trying to reassure her that everything will be fine.

EJ was surprised on how bold Virsat was. He let out a frustrated sigh and laughed lightly. He felt the quick movement Virsat made as he move behind him. EJ lowered his head, not wanting to look at Virsat for the moment. Young one, You are making it quite difficult to control myself. I have to be honest, I am usually not the noble character you have seen. In fact I am more like a vampire than I seem. I usually find good looking men and women, seduce them, and prey on them. The only thing that differs is I dont like to kill my prey. I enjoy the physical pleasures more, the blood just like a drug to me. That is what I desired from you from the beginning. He sighed again. But, as we spoke something changed. You looked so helpless and so much has and is happening to you. I-I wanted to protect you from it. The thought of you being hurt angered me and that surpassed my urge to treat you like everyone else. His shoulders lowered a little and closed his eyes. I just wanted you to know the real me before you trusted too much. I will try my hardest to control myself, but I have never done so before. I just dont want to do anything to hurt or scare you. He stood there with clenched teeth, bracing himself for the rejection that was sure to come.

Virsat had blinked and stared at EJ for a long while, his brow furrowed. When he spoke, he didn't sound much like the timid creature he really was. He sounded almost fierce. "Lie to me, beat me. Drain my blood. Rape me. I don't care. I have endured far worse things than those for little more than a hundred years. If that is the price I must pay for your companionship, then. It is a small price. It is a small price to pay because humans terrify me more than anything else in this world. If I must endure such things in order for you to protect me from the humans and even those that hunt me now, then. It is a very small price and you are being underpaid." There was no rejection, only a firmness in his voice, a bit of finality.

EJ's words hadn't really surprised him. EJ was a vampire and a demon. Neither, but both. He expected the man to bite him he was used to such things. His master had never shared him with the coven, but only in the carnel sense of the word. His blood had been given up many times, before and even after he had been turned. It was what he knew, it was what he expected. Virsat wouldn't have been surprised if the female vampire in the bar came at him for a bite. Virsat's moods seemed to switch a bit erratically. It was hard to tell what would or wouldn't make him go from timid to fierce and back again. One could only blame that sort of thing on all he had gone through in his life.

"Well I am a little hungry truth be told" she said a little reluctant to break into the sweet scene before her they both looked happy. Averting her eyes, so as to give them a little semblance of privacy Mira transferred her gaze onto a glass that had been left out on the bar partially full of what looked like a fruity drink. Humming a soft tune to herself she waited patiently for the two to finish up maybe she should leave and come back.

Kiya nodded though her eyes narrowed searching his face, she had no doubt he was being truthful about Angil but she was looking for a hint of worry. Something that showed her feelings of unease weren't unfounded not finding any she let it drop, relaxing in his hold. "Go take care of your customer Yuu-kun" she thought a smile touching her lips. If Yuu-kun wasn't going to worry then there was no reason she should right? Leaning up she pressed a light kiss against his lips before pulling out of his arms and ushering him towards the customer that needed his attention. "Shoo shoo" she teased with a wink heading over to the table with the neglected book on it. The book she was supposed to be reading, but had been forgotten in all the commotion.

EJ was caught off guard when Virsat answered so firmly. He whirled around looking at him almost happily. Maybe this kid isnt so helpless after all. EJ smiled his mischievous smile. Alright then... In one motion, EJ grabbed Virsat's left wrist and firmly, but gently behind his back and firmly held his other wrist by his side. EJ held him close and slowly lowered his head towards Virsat's neck. However instead of a bite on the neck, EJ gently kissed him on the cheek. He let go of his captive and laughed a little. Dont worry my little prince. I'm not that cruel. As I said, I dont enjoy the pain of others. However, that does not mean I dont like to torment them. He let out a slight sigh of relief, and smiled his gentle smile at him Come now, He leaned and picked Virsat up princess style. Shall we avoid the chance of running into that human? I can take you straight to my room so that you can rest.

Yuuichi stumbles a little bit as Kiya pushes him out from behind the bar. He look back at her over his shoulder and sticks his tongue out, regaining his composure as he approaches where Mira is sitting. "Just let either me or Kiya know what you would like to eat, and we will see what we can do to help you, ok?" He bows slightly to her as he starts trying to think up a snide remark to Kiya. "Keep that up and you will be tagged, collared, and property of mine." He glances back at her and winks.
