Gladly accepting the tackle, Yuuichi thinks to himself about the tiny difference he created in the illusions to help her. I wonder if I should tell her....Nah, let her be happy at the moment, I didn't really make it that big, so she did well to notice anyway. Yuuichi lays on the floor, underneath Kiya, happy she caught him. "I guess that makes me your servant now, huh? Oh what did I get myself into....this could end badly for me." Yuuichi winks at her playfully, hoping she caught his joke.

"Unfortunately, that is a question you must answer yourself. I can not help you think of that which you want, only you can." He stands and stretches a bit, his mind in wonder about her being so unsure of what she wants. He shifts back to his human form, and for the first time, allows his collar to appear on his neck, a silver nautical star attached to the collar, with a medium sized bell hanging from it. He stretches his arms a bit more and pops his neck a little. "Once you figure it out, let me know, Kiya." He glances over cautiously at Sofia, wondering if the young human would ever so much as speak to him again, much less trust him.

"The collar?" He reaches up subconsciously and touches the bell on it. "This was a gift....from an associate during the time I worked for her. When I left, I tried to give the collar back, but she wouldn't hear of it. It was mainly used for a disguise when in my natural form." He smiles thinking about the woman that gave it to him, the only person he could ever truly have called nice to him while he did their dirty work. "You want me to take you shopping? Is that what you want? Not that it matters, you can have anything else as well."

"If that is truly all you want, then ok, I'm sure we can go shopping at some point and get you some new clothes." His ears lower a little in defeat, considering she only only said she wanted to be around him. Deep down he was hoping she would request something more out of it. "Just let me know when you would like to go, and I will take you." He fails miserably to hide a little bit of sadness out of his voice.

"You did nothing wrong, Kiya. Everything is fine, I promise." He attempts to smile somewhat reassuringly to her, his voice enunciating her name a bit heavier than usual. He looks around the tavern for a moment, things going through his mind that he heard during his and Kiya's game. "Please, excuse me a moment, there was a woman looking for a room, and I don't think Desmond ever got one for her." He slowly walks over to Desmond, still unsure of her and irritated at her earlier remark of him. He places a key in Desmond's hand and nods his head. "Here is the key to the room for the young lady. I hope she finds it peaceful." Before giving him the chance to respond, he walks away, knowing the room he was handing over was not much more than an over-sized closet. All that was in it was one window, a twin sized bed, and a small bathroom. The room being nothing like many of the others.

Desmond nodded to Yuuichi and walked towards the stairs, holding his hand out he allowed the lady to go first before walking up behind her. Bare room, Yuuichi really didn't trust this woman, which meant neither should he. The other rooms were nicer, had a couple complimentry perfume bottles on a vanity, pretty nice. If he wanted this woman to have a barren room it was quite likely he was sure that if we gave her a nice room, it would be bare in the morning. "Here we are" he said as he stopped just before of one of the rooms and leaned against the wall next to the door. Lightly he tapped his boot against the door of the room. "I hope you enjoy your stay, My lady."

As he turns around he notices Kiya walking off towards the kitchen. He sighs, sure he had somehow still ended up indirectly hurting her. He walks softly toward the kitchen, hiding behind the door frame for a moment as he watches her get herself some water, happy that he had boiled the leather soles of his shoes to make them quieter. He cringes a bit at the thought, remember why exactly why he had done that as well, the happy thoughts quickly draining. Noticing her walk outside, he slowly makes his way across the kitchen and stops at the door frame leading outside, hiding himself from her view again. "I hope this works...." He starts to conjure an image in his mind, of a heart and etches some letters into it, 'KF' on top, '&' in the middle, and 'NK' on the bottom. He forces the image into reality, making it appear before Kiya. After making it appear, Yuuichi comes out of hiding to stand in the doorway itself.

Vex walked up the stairs and down a long hall. Desmond had nudged open her door. There was a window, a bed and a tiny bathroom. Hmpf some hospitality she mumbled. It didn't bother her though, she'd grown up in an orphanage after she was found wandering alone at the age of four with no memory. At least this place had a window and sheets on the bed. Thanks a lot, she winked at him, giving him her seductive look. She walked in and closed the door behind her. She set her pack next to the bed, sat down and took off her heels. She laid back, a shower would be nice she thought. She closed her eyes. I'll have one in the morning. She rolled onto her side and reached into her bag. She pulled out a small photo of a man, a woman and a small child at the zoo. They looked genuinely happy. On the back of the photo read "Vexaline's first trip to the zoo!" Will I ever find you? I can't keep running... Her eyes closed again and the photo fell to the floor next to her pack, she was finally asleep.

Yuuichi nods his head, answering her question as he holds her close, noticing that she is apparently afraid of storms. "The only part of this that surprises me, is the first question you asked was if it was true, not why my initials were NK instead of YK. But yes, I wouldn't have done that if I wasn't being honest. After all, think about what I said earlier when it came to the bed." He smiles happily as he looks off in the distance, watching the storm clouds. "I guess because I lived in the north for so long growing up, storms have never really frightened me. I can barely remember many days when it wasn't snowing." He continues holding her as he stares at the clouds.

((O.O.C.: Albeit, Yuuichi can be overly trusting at times, he tends to be very sensitive to people's personality before they speak. ))

"Aye, I could. But no worries, that is rather common, I have met many people afraid of storms." He tilts his head to the side a little as he watches her lower her head, appearing as if trying to hide the fact she was blushing. "I didn't make you sad did I? It wasn't my intention to make you cry, I was hoping you would be happy....As for my initials. My name at birth was Naoki, but ever since I have left my village, I have always gone by the name Yuuichi. Very few people ever learn my real name. It is nothing against anyone, just, there are things tied to it that I have a hard time thinking about. But being that it is you, feel free to use that name if you like." He smiles as he places his right index finger under her chin, lifting her head up to face him. "I really hope I didn't cause tears to run across such a beautiful face, that would be a pity."

Yuuichi gently ruffles her hair with his right hand, making sure to be extra gentle around her ears. "Two things I can tell you about that. One, there is something out there that can not simply be explained, because the emotions and feelings are ever changing. Two, if you wish to try and have someone help you make sense of it, your best bet would be to ask another female." He lets go of Kiya for a second as he stretches his arms, a bit confused on why his muscles are so tight. "As for the emotions of humans, I'm sure you and I have had this conversation before. The only way to adjust to the strength of human emotions, is to try and stay in your human form more often."

Yuuichi stands there in the doorway, a bit shocked as he watches her walk away. "I....I um...ok. Promise me you will be safe.... He lowers his head a little hurt, thinking he did something horribly wrong. He turns to look at the tavern and walks around to one of the sides. He climbs the side of the building and starts walking across the roof, his mind wandering, trying to put together this puzzle called women. He sits down on the apex of the roof and stares off into space, ignoring the rain spattering his face.

Sitting on the roof of the tavern, Yuuichi stares off at the distant sky, looking towards the north. "Thank you....for finally allowing me to move on. I hope that one day, you will find it in your heart to forgive me for not being able to save you. I'm sure you have seen already that not a year has passed that I haven't tortured myself for that failure. But thank you.....thank you for releasing my heart, so that I may move on in that sense." He raises his head a bit, enjoying the feel of the rain hitting his face. "I will never make that mistake again...."

Yuuichi smiles a little as he faintly hears what she is saying. "At least I know she is ok.....now to lead her home." Closing his eyes, Yuuichi starts to seek out Kiya's heart, once he finds it, he starts making illusory roses appear. His trademark white rose with a blue tinge on the tips of the petals. "Follow them home quickly love.....I'm not sure how much longer I will be able to use magic today. I'm nearly at my limit just because of how far away you are."
