Noctis watched Syndarion go, his maroon eyes narrowed. When he'd finally gone, the Earth alpha reached for Coventina's arm. He snagged her wrist, pulling her carefully so as to inspect her. "Did he hurt you?" Though it was a blunt question, Noctis asked it truthfully. It sounded like he didn't care, but . . . he did.

He'd come to warn the Water tribe about the Dark Brotherhood, but instead he'd found them being chased out. Interesting turn of events, really.

Coventina watched Syndarion go with his men, and felt that decision was completely right. He had caused nothing but trouble in her territory since she had arrived. She had finally found that she was unable to forget the day if frost, even if she wanted too, and the way the dark alpha had lead his people made her sick thinking about it. "He didn't hurt me. But I nearly hurt him." she said and looked into those eyes. "He has been waltzing through my territory, and had been rude since day one. He had tried my patience too long.... My pack mates were not happy with his presence, and neither was I... Not with how his pack had been back then either...." she said and wanted to press into Noctis's arms, but they were infront of many, and thank goodness Sky was still in the caves, tending to Oberon.

"He cares nothing for your pack." Slowly, Noctis explained the meeting he'd had with the Dark Brotherhood alpha. As the fire died down from the fight a few moments prior, the Earth male stepped up beside Coventina and bumped against her, making her walk beside him by sheer force of movement. It wasn't a big motion, just a brief push toward the beaches as he spoke.

By the time he'd finished his story, they were both standing near the water's edge. "He doesn't much like your pack." Noctis' maroon eyes narrowed, and he slowly glanced toward Coventina. "I think it has something to do with the Day of Frost." He shifted the sands about their feet with his abilities, and then stopped to look the woman in the eye. "What happened that day?"

Coventina was surprised as Noctis bumped against her, forcing her to walk towards the water. She gave a sheepish smile as she nearly stumbled, but righted herself quickly. Walking with him, her eyes darkened a bit hearing that he ran in with Syndarion. "Our packs don't like eachother at all.... We are basically enemies." she stated as he explained that the Dark Brotherhood alpha didn't care for her and her tribe. Standing before the water with her bare feet in the sand, the female alpha looked up at Noctis after he stopped shifting the sand. "The day of Frost." she said slowly and closed her eyes. "Years ago, the Dark Brotherhood was stealing warriors from packs, and gathering information. Some escaped, and others stayed, being bribed with the power that the evil pack was trying to get. They attacked my clan and Navi's clan many times, claiming innosent lives and tore apart many of our docks and the wind clans water system. They were trying to make the water pack and wind pack go at eachother's throats, trying to frame the attacks... I remember the fear all the small children like I had, all the wounds and blood the beach had seen." she breathed and tears began welling in her eyes. Brushing her nearly white hair away from her face, Coventina took in a slow breath. "One night they came, and stole into my families cave... They killed my mother and the two youngest brothers closest to me... I had to lay amungst their bodies and act like I was dead with my family until the warriors left and my oldest brothers and father returned." she explained and shuddered. "Winter was making snow on the ground, and when Father and the previous wind alpha saw the damage, they agreed to end the plight. Using the finest wind and water bending wolves, they set off to the lands of the Dark Brotherhood. With such high volocity winds and more snow and ice then you can imagine, the once large pack was reduced to few, if any surviors... Those who caused the day of frost used every ounce of magic and strength they had, and with such bad conditions... None but two warriors, one from each clan, returned." she breathed and a few tears fell down her cheeks. "My father and brother gave their lives to stop the attacks, but now it's happening again... And I had tried to stop history from repeating, but I don't know if I can... And I don't have an heir to take over..." she whispered.

Noctis was deathly silent while he listened. He did nothing to wipe away Coventina's tears, nor comfort her. He just . . . wasn't the type. He couldn't. "They hate you because you defeated them." The Earth alpha nodded, finally understanding. "I understand now."

He glanced over at the woman as she mentioned her lack of an heir. "You're strong. Your pack will survive." His maroon eyes narrowed, and Noctis cleared his throat in a somewhat uncertain gesture. "You'll be stronger in the face of adversity."

Noctis looked back out to the ocean, thinking over what he'd heard about the Day of Frost. It was history, but it was still in everyone's minds. If they didn't get over their prejudice against one another, they would fall to whomever was now attacking every clan.

"The enemies aren't the Dark Brotherhood this time, though. You would have recognized their scent."

Coventina let out a soft laugh, and then looked to Noctis. "I was raised as a warrior, but I hate thinking of resorting to violence again... It's a bitter taste in my mouth..." she said softly and whiped her crystal tears away. Watching them drop into the ocean, making the water sparkle and glisten before returning to normal. Hearing his words about their scent, she shook her head.

"They smell exactly like the Dark Brotherhood..." she said finally looking into his eyes. "I was trying to keep Syndarion close to try and catch him and his pack inthe act.... But it wasn't them... But they were so intrusive, and my guards reported them snooping around the caves, that I could no longer keep them here." she growled, the obvious anger igniting in her eyes. Raising her hand, she watched the water lift itself and she smiled.

"I don't care what it takes, I will stop these attacks.... And I will finally strive for what I wish for." she said and looked into his eyes, her hand reaching forwards. Barely caressing his cheek as the breeze tussled her hair. "I refuse to live this life always giving... And never getting love." she breathed and then smirked. "Oh your little fisherman is coming." she said and nodded towards the young boy who had gotten Noctis a fish the first time he had visited, holding a rod and tackle box as he ran.

Just so you know. :lol: Oh, Syndarion you can still post. We've all been in your shoes. You can still post for your character, therefore I will expect you to post like anyone else still. So I'll be waiting for your post.)

Morgana backed away from Syndarion with a nod. Coventina would take care of him for sure. Almost melting into the shadows, a smile pulled at her lips. Soon the alphas' worlds would crumble. Walking out of the woods by the cave where Sky was currently tending to one of the wounded, Morgana smiled towards the two guards protecting the entrance. They waved back tiredly. Not only was their job seemingly unneccesary, but also it sucked up a lot of energy. "I would like to visit Sky to see how the wounded are doing.",she said lightly. With a confident gait, she entered the cave to see Sky and Oberon sitting side by side. Sky was clearly tending to Oberon's wounded leg. "Well if it isn't the two trouble makers. We'll have to deal with you.",Morgana said with a smirk. Walking behind them both, she gagged their mouths and made sure they couldn't make a sound. Reaching towards the back of their necks, she placed her hands there. And let the darkness seep out of her body amd into theirs'. Beings of light can not easily absorb the darkness. So this often resulted in the being passing out for days on end. Even a month before regaining conciousness. As she planned, both warriors passed out. Leaving Sky passed out on the floor because she had no use for him, Morgana picked up Oberon andcarried him to the entrance of the cave. Setting him down, she approached the guards from behind and attacked the pressure points on the back of their necks. Making them crumple to the ground. Once more picking up Oberon, Morgana headed towards the woods where she laid him down. 'A present my alpha. He controls the weather. He may be a valuable pawn in our strategy. Now is the time to strike! Let us put our plan in action! I will call our kin! The time is nigh!', she thought to Pathose. Running back to where Coventina was, Morgana yelled,"Coventina come quick! Someone from the Darkness Clan has tried to steal our secrets!!!"

Syndarion was at the edge of the forest, playing Watcher. He Honestly Did Care nothing for the Water clan. While he knew that what his clan did in the past was....Questionable, Not everyone Deserved the Fate that was given to them. while he was Honestly trying to hlep the Clan's threw this Crisis, that did not mean he didn't have his own personal feeling's of Loathing, and anger.

Sky looked up and smiled seeing Morgana. The female warrior was a bit, creepy looking in the darker room. Chuckling about her saying they were trouble makers, Sky was about to speak when she moved and put a gag in his mouth. Shocked he moved to thrash away and grab the gag, but an overwhelming pain came from his neck. Feeling the pain made his head feel heavy, and his eyes rolled up onto the back of his head, and he dropped to the floor like a rock. His glasses shattering on the ground next to him.

Pathose grinned hearing Morgana's thoughts and a dark cloud moved from the line of the forest. Appearing before the eyes was Pathose, and three others walked forward. Their intent, anything but friendly. It was time to extract the first piece of revenge. Smirking down at the passed out water pack memeber the alpha took the cigerette from his mouth and blew a smoke ring. "You are the one who keeps the water clan so beautiful... And your the ancestor of those weather controling bastards that put us threw hell." he growled, a snarrle building in his throat. He then jerked his head to one warror and he moved and picked up Oberon and walked back into the awaiting darkness. Grinning the Vengence Alpha put the cigerette back in his mouth and took a drag. "Lets go." he said, putting out the cigerette on the ground. HE walked into the cave, following the scent of Morgana, and went deeper, grinning as he saw the scroll. It was protected by water magic, so now was time to wait.

COventina was shocked hearing Morgana and let out a growl. "this isn't good at all! Syndarion probably used himself as a decoy!" she snarrled, angry that she wouldn't have thought of that before. She ran into the caves with Morgana in tow. The intracet lybrenth that was the caves was something the water alpha knew well. Anyone else, would have been easily lost. Smelling the Dark Brotherhood pack, Coventina growled and ran into the scroll room. The jewle incrusted walls glowed as she entered, but seeing others there she snarrled.

"Nice to see you as well... Demon." Pathose growled.

((Hey everyone! I'm back. I'll start moving my peeps back into the picture. Or... maybe I should wait a bit longer for time to move a bit. What do you think Bloody?))

Morgana surveyed the entire room, she of course had never entered the scroll room before because it was virtually impossible to find without the alpha. To signal Pathose, Morgana ever so slightly nodded her head. The plan was about to be sprung into action. Stepping forward, she roughly grabbed Coventina by the neck and whispered,"Your trust has been misplaced." Swiftly lifting Coventina off the ground, Morgana threw her across the room and onto the alter behind Pathose. Coventina landed on the stone table with a sickening crack. Slightly smiling, Morgana made her way across the scroll room to the little strip of stone leading to the table. Stopping, she looked up towards Pathose and her heart skipped a beat. In the big circular room thats floors were made out of completely smoothed water stone, and the walls were encrusted with the most beautiful and decerative jewels. The altar was surrounded by a moat of crystal clear water, and a single jewel lined path that was 8 feet wide. The ceiling was also spectacular, being also encrusted by jewels. To Morgana, Pathose looked like he was home amongst such splenders, he just fit in. Approaching the table, she first walked up to Pathose and gave him a hug and hung on him. "My alpha. And the Earth alpha is more than likely fast approaching."

While they ran, L's wolfish manner seemed to change slightly. Yes, he was a scrapper, and was the lowest of the low . . . but something in the way he ran shifted. Instead of seeming to tip-toe his way through the forest, he ran with a powerful stride that carried him faster than before.

He snapped his teeth at the Fire Alpha, leaping away before darting back in to do it again. Playful? Slightly. It was more of a challenge. Catch me.

Coventina was about to spring when a hand wrapped around her neck. Shocked as she was lifted from the ground, the blonde beauty grabbed the hand with her own, struggling for air. Morgana's words shocked her as she was then launched across the room. Her body slammed into the alter, and she blacked out for some time. Waking up, she slowly and painfully lifted her pounding head. Something warm and sticky was trickling downthenside of her face, as well as other parts of her body, and only after a few moments did she register that it was blood. Feeling something in her hand, which had landed ontop if the alter, it now held a blue sapphire scroll. Hearing a spine shivering laugh, Coventina weakly lifted herself, only to have one of the warriors kick her body right back into the stone, making a cry of pain leave her lips as another crack came from her body. Her side was flaming with pain. Listening to the male's words, she suddenly realized what he was doing, and she had to do everything to stop him, even if it ment killing herself. Turning her head away from Pathose, her eyes turned completely sea blue, and from the ocean rose a water form of her infront of Noctis. "Help me Noctis! I'm trapped inside the caves and the dark brother hood are not the ones doing it! They were set up! Please follow me!" the water form said and with a mighty wave that crashed over the entrance of the caves, the Coventina double beckoned her Earth Alpha friend. He was her only hope.

Pathose ducked smoothly as Coventina was launched over him and brutally hit the stone altar. Laughing at the spectacle, he turned his red gaze to Morgana. "My perfect spy." he growled and stole a kiss from her roughly. The water around them then flew up, and crashed over the alter, making the vengeance wolves duck in shock. Pathose was the first to stand, and grinned seeing the healed top of the magnificent stone alter had transformed into the sapphire scroll. "Ah the water alpha awakes... Are you wondering who we are?" he asked with a smirk, his hold on Morgana's waist tightening. "We are those who were separated from the Dark Brotherhood, the ones who were left for dead by you and the wind clan! We are the Vengeance clan! And I am about to pull the first string to unravel this perfect peace." he growled and grinned. "Why you?" he said, after meeting those pained eyes. "Think about it, you stupid bitch! You befriended the hard hearted fire alpha, you have been good friend's with the wind alpha for years, and you are in love with Noctis, the Earth alpha. You, you my ugly little pup, are exactly the person I want to kill and torture the most. You are the pathetic glue that holds all these wolves together. And once I have you and your secrets, I will pick off the rest one by one, and make them watch your slow painful death." he growled and then cackled with his pack. Watching as Coventina didn't turn around, his eyes narrowed and he jerked his head to a soldier, who slowly approached the water alpha. Pathose's jaw was tight as he waited to see what she was up to, he had to be careful that she didn't ruin his plans.

The water of the river licked over the rocks soothingly. Noctis was, once again, alone. He used to prefer it that way. Now, his mind was full of one thing: a woman. A couple women, actually. Tayla, his former mate . . . her sister . . . and Coventina. Somehow everything was unsettled. Nothing would be still in his mind. It was against the codes to become mates with another tribe member, let alone the alpha. Noctis should just turn away from the water pack and head in the opposite direction.

Just as his reddish eyes were narrowed in determination, the water stirred at his feet. The Earth alpha stared at the form that appeared before him, slowly widening his eyes. She needs help. He was on his feet, shifted, and following after the beckoning spirit.

The Dark Brotherhood. Set up. Figures. For once, it wasn't them. As he raced after the watery form of Coventina, doubt weighed heavily on his mind. This had better be real.

Leonardo had been out and about all day. He caught a glimsp of someone hiding among the trees. Watching over something he could not see with his eyes. For a few moments he watched carefully. Before finally deciding to make his move. With silent feet, or paws now he crept towards the figure. Heading up the side of the mountain. Once there, it was gone. Suddenly though, a force hit him hard enough to make a small indent in the earth. Dazed, he looked up to the figure of a woman.

"Oh, a flammer." Savannah spoke quietly. Coming out from behind her golem. "I thought you were a threat."

"My head..." Leonardo groaned. Unable to fully function.

Savannah suddenly felt something within the ground below her. Something...big....She looked up to see Leonardo getting up from his small crater. Appearing fine. In the distance, she could still see Noctis sitting near the water.

In a split second choice, she made a signal to the small group of warriors to keep watch before moving herself into the earth and going down. Finding a room. There the water tribe leader was directly to her left, near a stone alter. Clapping her hands, she brought forth two golems, giving a good distance of room between Corventina and her attackers. Savannah stepped forward, also taking a protective placement.

"Miss Corventina, I am your shield." Savannah said to the woman in pain. Not directly looking at her though.

Shocked as a girl came in threw the ceiling, Coventina growled and then her brows knit together. She didn't know who the girl was, but if she was here to help, she would take it. "Keep them away from me... I-I'm getting help." she rasped, her powers working and straining. She kept her water spirit racing infront of Noctis, leaning him down to the cave entrance in the woods, which was the closest one to him. The water form led him through the winding caves and then pointed to the lit up room ahead. "Be careful, we are out numbered." the water spirit said and dissappeared. Coventina's eyes turned back to normal only to be smacked against the alter. She screamed as Pathose grabbed her and lifted her into the air by her hair and socked her in the stomach.

Pathose was annoyed that the earth user came to aid Coventina. He grabbed his lover and held her back as she lunged. "She's mine... She smells of earth alpha." he said with a grin and then ran forwards, towards the girl. Suddenly the room was dark and he slid up behind her, and grabbed her legs from out from under her. As she tripped he took out her minions and returned to her. "Nice try girly." he chuckled and stabbed her with his claws And dragged them down her body slowly. Watching the pain on her face made the man laugh and lift his dark cloud from the room. Growling he then turned on Coventina and grabbed a fist full of hair and jerked her up off her feet and held her there. Snarling be socked her in the stomach and grinned. "I will enjoy destroying you." he whispered to her and veined wickedly.
