The rest of the day seemed to have flown by in preparation. Coventina found herself within her people, preparing their offerings for the feast. With the fresh fruit and fish that was brought in from her warriors and hunters they all pitched in to prepare the food. Every pack contributed to things at the feast, and once there, everyone enjoyed the night until the sun arose in the sky once more. As time grew closer, Coventina had to over see everything as it went into place. The fountains were set up, the food set out, the decorations of their tribe put up and the cooks finishing the foods that would need to be cooked right before the celebratory meal. Returning to her hut, Coventina welcomed the girls to help her with gettting ready for the celebration. Getting into her dress the alpha smiled softly at the feel. Nothing could be more suited for her then this wonderful outfit. With the help of the beauty experts she had her lips and eyes all done up to match the beautiful dress and then the curving rune for water was painted upon her right shoulder. Her hair was in waves and curls and the half up half down look shaped her face as if the hair was curling waves crashing down against her face in beauty. Sighing softly and standing slowly, she stepped out of the hut and stood I front of her people. She stood as a symbol of beauty and peace and all who saw her at that moment felt like no one but Coventina could ever lead them into prosperity. She was a goddess in human/wolf form. Smiling at the people she knew and loved she gave the word and the water pack headed towards the frost feast ready for the fun and food to begin. Walking in the early moonlight. Coventina couldn't help but want to see Noctis. He always looked so handsome at the feast.

Running through the forest, a girl was out of breath. Wolves of massive sizes, almost as though they were bears chased after her. It was not like she couldnt outrun most things, but it seemed as though they were getting closer and she was going nowhere. How was this possible. They all shook their heads as they surrounded her. The surprise in their eyes just made her want to cringe. As she whined, she circled around trying to find an exit, but there was none. All of her brothers and sisters started to growl and snarl, but they hesitated before they attacked. As soon as any of them took a step, the ground beneath her fell through. The fall had made her want to wake up, but she didnt. There was a light that seemed to shine and blind her as she landed on something soft. Before she knew it, she was a puppy again and it looked as though she had just jumped from a tree and landed on Akane in her wolf form. She was really squishy in the female's eyes. The woman had seemingly wanted to be angry, but she started to laugh as Demi licked her face. The woman went into her human form once more as she picked up the young puppy. When she threw the puppy into the air, the puppy's face was that of extreme joy. When she caught her, the woman held the puppy as though she were a baby, stomach up and started scratching her. The Demi licked her hand as she did so and was then placed on the ground as she became her human form. Akane messed with her hair as Demi begged to be picked back up. Akane smiled and she just took her hand and walked back to their home again for food.

Slowly Demicora awoke from her much needed rest as her father and step mother still had their hands on her head. Her head was still in her father's lap. Smiling, or at least it looked like it in her wolf form, she got up slowly and shook herself from head to tail. She stared into the eyes of her father with the smile still on her face as she was breathing with her mouth open. Hi Papa. Sorry about that... I didnt realize I'd be so tired when i got back.... Where's Pathose?

Ocean smiled feeling Demi move and stayed seated with Akane. Both were smiling at her lovingly. "That's alright Demi, you deserve a bit of rest after everything." the blue haired male said and Akane chuckled at the question. "I had Morgana find him. He hasn't eaten because he is worrying. I believe eye was stand ontop of the tallest tower cross. It's where he always goes. High up so he can see and have clear air to think." Akane said reassuringly. "If anyone can get him to eat, it would be Morgana. She was the only one to keep him out of pure anger all these years... And kept him happy." Ocean said and then grinned widely. "I can only hope you find someone like that, but someone you can beat up for sure." Ocean said with a grin and Akane laughed and pounced his arm playfully. "She will find someone just fine. Don't go giving her ideas you silly boy!" The mother figure said in a teasing manner and both stood. "I just think she will find a good boy, but with her skills she could beat any of them." He said proudly and Akane laughed. "Of course, she's our daughter." She agreed.

Demi tilted her head to the side as she listened to her father. Her head went down a little bit as he spoke of the cross he usually hangs out on because of worrying. She was hoping that he wasnt worried about her. Then she remembered that he had said that he sent morgana after him. She started to jump from side to side playfully, as if she was excited to see him. Then he said that morgana gone to get him to eat and all she could do was laugh. Nothing was worse than having your mate scold you or drag you to the mess hall. It was just embarrassing. As soon as she started thinking of that, the subject came up about how she needed a mate. Her eyes went wide in shock as her father started to talk about the man that would be right for her. Someone that she could love and beat up.... It was just a terrible but hilarious thought. She started laughing so hard, she came out of her wolf form and started rolling on the ground. It was just too funny. It took a little while before her laughter died down, but as soon as it did, she wiped the tear from her eye that started dwelling there from the tremendous amounts of laughter. "I'm sorry. I'm sure it would be fun to beat up all the guys, but that leaves so many choices out there. I think ill take a guy who's surpassed me in skill. Then he'll be good enough..... Cuz then i can use a reference to get even stronger... Besides, he's gotta be able to handle me, right?" She said with a silly grin. Standing, she walked over to her mother and gave her the first hug and then to her father to give him one as well as if to say she was going to stay for quite a while.

Roulan had watched everything being prepared for the feast tonight he decided to not attend since he had nothing to wear. "A feast in these times"he mumbled grouchily and crossed his arms in a childlike manner. "Honestly we should be focusing on who is finding out our secrets."he said and kicked angrily at a rock because he knew this would never resolve the issue. He then changed in wolf form and ran off into the woods so he could find a quiet place away from all the noise.

Noctis directed the preparations for the Feast from within his dwelling. Instead of joining the others, he merely used his mental link to guide his pack and make sure everything was in order. By the time each alpha drew away to prepare, the Earth male was already worn out.

I'll be fine.

Truth be told, he wouldn't be. Not while he knew about Vengeance's influence in the Water tribe. He wouldn't forget the look on Coventina's face, and he couldn't ignore the pain he'd felt through his last connection with Demicora.

Noctis shook the thought away as he threw his old clothing into a pile. He dressed quickly, his thoughts in chaos. Savannah was acting strange, Coventina was . . . compromised, and Demicora was no longer part of the pack. What was happening to the world about them? Was it really crumbling so easily?

When he was dressed in his ceremonial clothing, Noctis paused. Reaching out with his senses, he used the earth to pinpoint the other alphas. Navi still lingered with her people, as did Jazereth. Noctis was focusing on Roulan's quick steps as the warrior headed away from the festivities when he caught a gentle aura. As always, he brought his earth abilities to track Coventina's movements. Her every step was like a quiet ripple on the water. She was so delicate, he couldn't help but notice her.

Noctis slowly opened his eyes, sighing. She was never an option. Not really.

The thought hurt more than he expected.

The Earth alpha pushed the thoughts away as one of his warriors pinged him with a message. It was time to get music started. Of course, the first round would be from the Earth clan themselves. Drums began to beat, creating a kind of ambiance that was distinctly related to the strength of their tribe. The Feast was ready to begin.

Navi heard the drums. Lifting her head, she nodded to the woman helping her with her dress. With a wisp of wind, the alpha headed toward the stone-formed tables for the banquets. As they passed the building fire and Earth clan members, Navi's colorless eyes scanned over them. Tonight, they were all allies. Tonight, they were friends.

With a slight smile, the Wind alpha lightly held her fist and curtsied to the figure who had just approached the tables. Noctis nodded in return, looking mildly uncomfortable.

"Your clan has done well in preparing the land," Navi said, eyeing the youth for a while. She could see more than Noctis hoped, but that was her well-kept secret.

"And your winds have carried the best scents," Noctis replied, his smile growing more comfortable. He always looked forward to the smells that the Wind clan brought with them. As a child, he'd appreciated the sweet feelings of wisdom and peace that Navi and her people gave off. Noctis was relieved to know that their aura hadn't changed.

After a few minutes of polite conversation, Noctis excused himself. He knew where Coventina was, and it took everything in his being to stay away from her. His maroon eyes still found their way toward her side of the clearing. The fire was in the very center, and to one side of the camp was the dining area. On the other side of the fire was a large clearing. This was, of course, for the festivities: there would be dancing, contests, games, and . . . well, dancing. Dancing was one of the favored activities of the evening . . . or it had been for the past couple years.

When Noctis finally let himself look at Coventina, his gaze locked on her lithe form. The dress she wore was distinctly Water styled, and complimented her natural figure perfectly. Captivated, the Earth alpha held his place. How could he move when his heart nearly stopped?

Regret came rushing through him, followed by anger and betrayal. Closing his eyes, the alpha tried to turn his attentions elsewhere. He failed. Badly.

Roulan had stopped running in the forest and stopped near a pond since he was getting thirsty. He changed back into human form "silly feast" he sighs and cups some water in his mouth then takes a drink."I'm glad to be away from this stuff"he then sat down by the pond and thought about all the times he was forced to these things since his parents though he would find a mate and he just huffs angrily.

Jazereth looked at herself, she was..........disgusted. 'How come I have to wear something so clingy?! I can bearly breathe!',she thought angrily. But composure was a very part big of her job. The women that had fitted the dress were now fawning over her. 'So many different expectations! I might suffocate from them before the dress gets to me.' Walking to the front of her hut, Jazereth saw Roulan heading to the forest. Using her mental connection, she contacted him. "Roulan. Come. I need you to help with the preparations. You can disappear later. For now your pack needs you." Exiting her temporary dwelling, she looked over the preparations for the feast. "Is everything in order?",she asked Landon. Jazereth just hoped that he didn't think she looked funny. Hearing the sound of drums on the gentle wind, Jazereth knew that the time of the feast had arrived. "Landon, accompany me to the alphas' table." When the alphas arrive at the table, they are suppose to bring one of their highly recognized warriors. Or in some cases, their mate. Since she had no mate and was expected to announce one soon, Jazereth decided to have Landon tag along. Approaching the stone table, she wondered if Coventina had brought Sky along. Though the member they brang could not sit at the same table as the alphas, they got the honor of sitting the closest. Before seating herself, Jazereth turned once more to her pack. The sun was now pale in the sky, dusk taking over the once luminous setting. "Let us brighten the sky with our hope for the future!",she announced. In response to her words, the Fire clan all lifted flowers with flames flickering in the centers towards the sky. Letting the natural lanterns float on the breeze, Jazereth admired the little flickers of light. Hoping that one day, every night could be spent like this. In each others presence, no wories about starvation, or the fear of death. When no one had to worry if the next day would be their last. But maybe they culd do without the fancy get up.

Roulan perked up when he heard Jazareths mental message. He changed into wolf form and hastily ran back to the village.I hate feasts he thinks as he runs back. When he arrives he changes hastily back into his human form to realize that the feast had started and everything was decorated. "Better get this done and over with" he said quietly and walked in to realize that not everyone had sat down yet, he then looked over and gave a nod to Jazareth who had looked lovely in her dress.

Coventina looked around and admired the environement around them. As the earth clan's drums set the beat, all wolves felt the pulse move through their bodies. As the water alpha guided her pack to setting up all the food in which their clan provided every year, the set up was gorgeous. Serving platters and displays moved as water and were decorated with flowers and shells. The desplay was moving beauty and art that would make thefood all the more inviting, and never wet even when suspended in the liquid. Hearing Jazereth's words the pale woman raised her eyes and smiled as the beautiful breeze the wing clan made levitated the flaming flowers in the air to allow for the romantic and wonderful lighting of the fire clan. Nodding to her people, the beautiful fountains of water and stone started, and the rainbow effects of the water in the fountains gave the moment and unreal beatuy. Smiling at Sky, she took his arm that he offered, and led her top warriorto the table of the alphas. Looking at the other alphas, she found that Noctis was there on the way. He looked so handsome in his clothes for the night, and when she caught his gaze, she didn't need her powers to know what he was thinking. Being a master of hiding feelings, the pale alpha put on a smile and nodded to Noctis as they passed him, his scent coming and leaving her nose like a wisp of a distant dream. He was never an option... His promise to me was to keep me holding onto life,andnow things go back to what they were.... But this time, I lost both the one I love, and the one who loved me. Turning to meet her warrior's eyes, she smiled at him gently and stopped at the presence of the other alphas. "Good evening, Navi, Jazereth. You both look beautiful tonight." Coventina said and then smiled brightly. Looking at her niece, who was fire alpha, her chest squeeze. I watched her grow up every year at this feast... And I never knew....

Ocean hugged Demi as she stood but the most wonderful thing was watching her hug Akane. The fire clan woman was surprised, but her care was obvious as she hugged her little girl tight and kissed her head. "You're right Demi, your father just wants you to be in charge of this boy so he doesn't do something stupid." the woman said and Ocean blushed a bit and then grinned. "Of course."he said knowing that his wife could read him so very well. Pathose walked in with Morgana on his arm and his smile turned to a grin seeing Demi. "Welcome home Demi." he said lightly and looked her over. "You gave our guys a good run, I'm sure they enjoyed it." he said sarcastically and smiled widely. "Are you alright?" he asked softly and reached out, brushing her cheek gently with a hand.

"Of course." She said as she looked at Akane. The funny part was she said it at the same time as her father which made her smile even bigger and then bumped her dad just because she could. "Jinx." She said playfully. Her mother seemed to be very happy with the new Demi that she was seeing. There was something inside her that made her stubborn to try something new, but if she was going to make this pack her new pack, she was going to have to accept that all of them were her family, even if she didnt completely remember it yet. As her brother came behind her, she was about to tackle him to the ground, but he was connected to his mate so there was no way she could take him down just yet. As he talked with her, she almost wanted to tell him about the mental link break and the possible pursuance from her old pack, but she decided to change the subject. "I'm doing just fine. I'll give your boys a run for their money every time if they dont wake up a bit." She said jokingly to her brother. "Why dont you show me around your humble abode. This place is pretty big. I think I'll make it my playground and stay a while. What do you think?"
