Hearing Demi's words, the alpha male chuckled and nodded. Looking to Morgana he gave her a light kiss on the cheek before hearing his sister's suggestion. Go take a tour? Why not? Pathose was fond of the palace that they transported. It held their pack and kept them secure and safe. Plus it hadn't been made by his pack, just modified by it. Nodding he chuckled and detached from Morgana. "We can take a tour. Though this whole palace is extremely sybolic. Its the old dwelling of the feast of frost." he said and gave a wicked grin. In spite of the packs, Pathose had done the unthinkable. He had stolen the one standing landmark that represented peace between the packs, and now it housed their worst enemy. "Morgana and I decided to take a team of wolves, earth wolves, remove the castle from its foundations, and make it look like we had destroyed it while several wind and water wolves made the 'hurricane' that supposedly destroyed this momument." he said and a mischievious glint came to his eyes. Ocean and Akane shook their heads and headed out to go grab something to eat. Once gone the alpha looked to his sister and chuckled. "I brought it home as a massive suprise to the pack. We had nothing at that time, just tents and people. But this, this gave us home and sancturary...Morgana had the cleaver spots to hide it all mapped out, and with a trick I learned, I moved it through the shadows to the place we wanted. Our pack had been under the radar since." he said and walked down the halls as he was explaining this. Every where you turned it was obvious that the best artists and achietects had worked on such a grand structure. And the signature from every pack's style was on the walls and art. "There are four wings, one based off each element. The center hall where the celebration was held is used as our meeting place and cooking area when the kitchen is full. I thought it was fitting to have a castle that represented all types of wolves be given to a pack that valued and brought together all kinds of wolves. What do you think?" Pathose asked as he brushed the red hair out of his eyes. His dark eyes seemed to lighten whenever he was around family, and Demi was no exception. The question was how she would take the biggest lie in history about this castle being destroyed.

Rustling of the leaves, not only the movement of them dancing before Derek's eyes but the soft crunch underfoot as he padded along, his fur clung stuck against his skin. Mud was the culprit of this, and a deliberate one at that, masking his scent was a sure way to get close to any prey that drew in. Laying down Derek slowed his breath and projected his astral spirit through the wood, as it transcended his physical body he could not help but look back at the motionless creature that lay there peacefully. Returning his gaze to the field of view for the woods Derek felt a tug on his consciousness, alerted he returned to his body and breathed lightly as he awoke. He could smell prey nearly on the other side of a oak tree from him, focusing on walking through the tree Derek phased into the tree and slowly stuck his head out the other side. A rabbit was hiding just under his jaws in terror, reactions honed through warrior's training brought his fangs down burying into the rabbit's neck. It only had a split second to flinch before it was mercifully slain. " Your sacrifice is not in vain. " Derek whispered to the corpse, he transcended the rest of the tree and picked up the rabbit in his teeth, he was hungry and nearly positive that his comrades were also, heading back to the village victoriously Derek couldn't help but wonder if this is how it used to be before his encounter...

Demi was having fun and listened to the history of the Palace itself. She had always thought that the palace had been destroyed by a hurricane. No wonder it had looked like it was carried off and destroyed. These wolves from different packs had worked together to take this palace and bring it back to the wolves who had no home. It was just simply amazing. She had never actually been to the Feast of Frost but she had gone to see whether this palace had actually been destroyed or not at the time when they got the message that it had been. It was so disheartening that such a symbolic building was so vulnerable to the people that they had been fighting, but now that she was in the pack that had been the culprits, she noticed that the male was right. This place was sanctuary to so many here. The story she listened to from her brother just seemed so intense and amazing, her thoughts about this pack began to change from what it had been with the Earth Pack to what it was like in this pack. It was interesting hearing this one story. "This place.... I was one of the party that went to look and see if the message of its destruction was right." She said as she put her hand on the wall, letting it slide as they walked around. This way she could feel every carving inscribed there. "I didnt know what it looked like, but I was sure it was destroyed when I saw the area afterwards. It makes sense to use it as a base for the Vengeance pack. There is every type of pack here." She looked towards her brother and smiled. "You did good bro. Im proud of you..... And I would love to help protect this pack."

Morgana stayed by Pathose's side as he unveiled the castle's history to Demicora. Nodding every now and then to confirm the information, she was awaiting Demi's reaction. After Demicora had said that she wanted to protect the pack, Morgana could see that her intentions were sincere. But lurking in the shadows of her mind, there was a secret that was not sincere at all. She wanted to confide in Pathose with this information but one look at his face and Morgana knew she couldn't possibly tell him now. Even he would be crushed to hear that his own kin was keeping a secret from him. Turning her attention back to the conversation at hand, Morgana put her hands on Demicora's shoulders and said,"Would you like to become an official member of this pack?" After looking towards Pathose for an air of approval, she closely scrutinized Demicora's reaction. To be acknowledged as part of the pack would mean a full day of celebration with the rest of the pack. As celebration of their lost sister returning to their side. Keeping her eyes on Demi, Morgana knew that she couldn't look at Pathose. Or her suspicions might find a way into the conversation.

Demicora had been walking with the two around the castle, but something itched at the back of her mind as she told the two that she wanted to join the pack. What she was feeling was nothing short of distrust coming from the pack alpha's mate which made her want to let her head hang low as if she were letting the feeling of not being wanted wash over her. Of course, she didnt show it as she looked to Morgana who now put her hands on her shoulder. The connection was made stronger by touch and the suspicious feeling grew like there was a tidal wave linked between the two minds. With that, she smiled to the woman. "I would LOVE to join the pack officially. I want to help in any way I possibly can. I wont have a pack to go to if I dont try with my family here."

((Jazereth's pretty dress! :O))
When Jazereth arrived, Landon's blue eyes widened. His pale features softened, and he watched his alpha with admiration. She was truly beautiful in her festive clothing, though he could tell she'd rather be in her usual clothes. The scrapper smiled slightly as he was greeted. He was slowly growing accustomed to being addressed by the alpha. It was new, but . . . he rather liked it.
Jazereth asked him if everything was ready. "Yes," was his blunt, quiet answer. He was then motioned forward.
Landon looked surprised as he was called forth from the other fire wolves. The moment he realized he was following his alpha to the table of leaders, the scrapper's mental state went haywire. He was hardly able to shut his mental link down before panic and fear rose up within him, followed closely by hesitation and self-consciousness. The feeling of guilt and dread filled his mind, and the youth closed his eyes to keep himself from getting sick.
Even as they approached, sending fires up into the night sky, Landon did nothing. Instead, he swallowed thickly and kept the persistent knot in his stomach from choking him. His clothing was clean, so he didn't look completely low on the rank list . . . but he was still obviously NOT an alpha. Not with the way THEY were dressed!
Blue eyes flickered up to the fire lanterns before moving back to Jazereth. He had to focus on her. He would be fine. Everything would be fine. Just pretend they weren't all alphas. . . .
-
As Coventina passed him, Noctis blinked slowly. Her very scent reminded him of what could be. Maroon eyes closed, and he grit his teeth. He was never a master of his emotions. Seeing the polite smile on Coventina's face almost made him angry. What else was she to do? He shouldn't be so flustered.
The Earth alpha took his seat at the table, watching the other three alphas in silence. He'd always felt strange around this group. He was a male - and the youngest male alpha in generations. Watching them in their elegance, Noctis felt a pang of longing. Once more, his gaze ended up on Coventina. It was so difficult to tear his eyes away from her!
Noctis blinked again, looking to Sky. He was a better choice for her. It was obvious that Sky cared for his alpha, perhaps even more than a friend would. He was the safe choice. A bitter taste filled his mouth. Noctis lowered his burning gaze, trying not to let the others see his emotion.
Fire lit the sky, drawing his attention. Noctis' brow smoothed, and he stared at the lights and water for many minutes as the others finished talking. This was the Feast. He should be enjoying himself.
-
"As do you, Coventina." Navi bowed her head, her white eyes closing briefly. Subtly glancing at Noctis, the Wind alpha kept her expression neutral. The boy was looking . . . troubled. More than troubled. In fact, he was looking . . . far too interested. The dark-skinned woman smiled slightly, her attention fixed back on the other women.
"The Feast is always beautiful. Your ideas are always refreshing."
She looked over to her chosen warrior who had accompanied her to the table. Ketaro - she'd chosen Ketaro to bring with her.

Pathose smiled widely hearing Demi and nodded his head in appreciation. "I would be happy to accept you within our ranks again, Demi." He said lightly. Seeing the look between Morgana and his sister, the alpha smoothly pulled his mate into his embrace and stole a light kiss. Nipping her cheek gently he then looked to Demi and grinned. "We will have the celebration start in an hour then. We will celebrate your return to us, and the victory we have placed. We still have spy's within the packs, and knowing that soon they will fall apart on their own, is satisfying. Now they will be forced to understand the truth. Ignoring love, is a worse crime then loving another clan member." He said and twirling Morgana and pulling her close, the male knew that these little things he did always brought the serious female's spirits up. "Shall I lead you around more or do you wish to get ready for the celebration?" The elder brother asked warmly.
Coventina could feel Noctis's emotions hit her like a wave of angry water. Tuning down her empathy tremendously, the alpha allowed for Sky to pull out her chair. Though she dish not sit until her gaze moved to Navi. "Thank you Navi, I have been thinking of ideas for this feast for quite some time. And must I say the scents this evening are superb." The pale woman said and wanted to be anywhere else but there. Noctis looked so handsome, making her want to be in those warm arms as she blinked. The memory of his arms around her in the orchard made the female's gut twist. Feeling a familiar pull from a pack member, she realized that Derek was still lagging behind. Reaching out through their minds she touched his. Come to the feast.... Do not be afraid. This is a time of celebration and happiness. the woman said in his mind and left it gently. Glancing to no tie again, she realized she had to stop looking at him, or else it was just a disaster waiting to happen. Thinking of trying to get her mind off him, her thoughts wondered back to Derek, the once glorious warrior had been the first to try and court her... The first to make her feel loved. Being who he was, and his status, many thought they were ment to be. But it was that once fateful battle, and they lost everything they had. His memory was forever lost, and her affections she had shown him, forever just her own memory. Noctis may have endured hardship, but seeing the one you love everyday suffer from no memory, and never treat you with that affection hurt more then she would ever admit. Now it was happening again, Noctis was throwing her out, refusing to keep those promises he made. Had it all been for nothing? Had all of it really just been a dream never to return again?
Sky helped Coventins to sit and then realized what Jazereth was wearing. Eyes widening in utter shock, the green haired male shook his head and adjusted his glasses on his nose. She was so beautiful, looking so festive her traditional. Looking forwards to the dances preformed by the alpha's he did his best to keep his eyes from strayin to her beautiful form. Keeping quiet respectfully, the male warrior knew that his alpha wasn't as happy as she had been, wondering if it had something too troubling to be able to completely hide it. Though he also knew that this time of year was always hard for Coventina, he hoped Noctis hadn't messed anything up.

((Haha, thanks! And score one for Ketaro! He gets to sit at the big kid table! ))
Ketaro felt Navi's gaze and met her eyes. Nodding slightly, he excused himself from the stone table. Spotting a weary looking fire member at Jazereth's side, Ketaro waltzed over. Lightly punching the male's arm, he said cheerfully,"Hey, esteemed guest. Why don't we let the Alpha's do their thing. I can feel some weird vibes from them, and an Alphas' disagreement is not something you want to be caught up in. Trust me." Turning away from the sheepish man, Ketaro addressed the Fire Alpha. "Fire Alpha, may I escourt your great warrior for a drink?"
Looking at the man who had asked her for Landon, Jazereth replied sharply,"Yes, but bring him back in one piece. You men tend to drink heavily at the Feast. Please do take your time to actually taste it before you snap it up." Turning towards the rest of the Alphas, she took one last look at Landon before seating herself next to Coventina. 'Oh damn. Why did I have to sit here?',she thought desperatly to herself. To her left was Coventina and to her right was Noctis. She might have just set off a bomb. Spotting Sky out of the corner of her eye, Jazereth spoke,"Are you going to join the rest of the esteemed warriors?" It was more like a command then a question. The smell of the water clan burned her nose. They always smelled of salt from the sea. Much more potent than the usual smell of ash amongst her own.

Roulan had sat down at a random table and slouched. "I shouldn't have to be here" he said grumpily and looked at everyone having a good time. "This is such a ridiculous event" he then looked around at the other female wolves, but they seemed to show no interest in him.

Derek felt the alpha touch his mind and to enjoy the feast. He was humbled by this and consented himself to join the others. No sooner did he start to tread forward again than he felt a charge of pain run through his mind. Flinching he dropped his prize and staggered slightly, images flashed before his mind's eye. He lost focus and threw up the contents of his stomach, his mind flared and burned from the unconcious recollection. Shaking it off as an illness he approached the feast where everyone else was dining. He looked at Coventina and wore a weak smile of encouragement, he felt deep sadness every time he looked at her, taking in every feature, all leading up to her deep eyes that he could not refuse. Coventina was his alpha and his leader, he placed these unresolved feelings for her as some sort of tragic accident before his mission... the one where he lost everything... He was now an outsider, no connections to anyone, only his honor and scars of memories long forgotten. Derek laid down in the soft leaves nearby the feast but far enough away so that he did not disturb the others, he surveyed the laughing group and wondered, who knew what I really was, I want to know however everyone looks at me with such sad eyes and keeps thier mouths shut. He lets this weigh over him like a heavy coat of snow burying him alive.
(thanks for the welcoming )

Sky smiled hearing Jazereth and bowed at the waist. "Yes I will join them, alpha." He said smoothly and then straightened. Walking with Ketaro and the little scrapped the fire alpha was fond of. Walking with them he spotted the old leader of the warrior. He grabbed a drink and then moved to grab one for the male. Looking at the others he smiled and excused himself swiftly. He then smiled at Derek and held up a drink. "Derek, would you like a drink? Coventina's dance will start soon. It's best to enjoy it with a drink, as you used to say." Sky said lightly and smiled at the male widely. It was sad to think the man that had led them all, held their alpha's heart, had lost it all when fighting to protect them.
Coventina smiled as Jazereth sat down and then noticed her musicians moving in place. As was customary, the woman alphas were to preform a dance and the males usually danced with their mates, but since Noctis didn't have a mate, he was excused from performing. Looking at everyone she stood slowly. "We'll my people are ready to preform, if you all will excuse me... I will start the true celebration." She said humbly. Striding out to the middle of the dance floor, the water alpha's presence caused silence to ripple through the wolves. Her eyes went from Noctis, and landed on Sky and Derek. Her heart clenched seeing the man who had promised her forever, and was lost to her. Remembering that he had promised if he was her mate to dance this night away with her. The pain of the memory made her close her eyes and take up her position. Raising her arms into the air and crossing the wrists she waited for the music. Goddess of the moon, give me strength... As the music started out slowly, the pale woman moved slowly, her movements graceful like water. As she moved, water began to form together from the air, looking like ribbons following her movements. As the song got more fun and up beat, the alpha twirrled and the drums entered. Then the woman smiled widely and like the beat moved faster, lighter, and even more graceful. Then she suddenly began to walk on water, dancing of it as it lifted her into the air. Then she twirled and flipped, landing lightly to end the pose and song. Cheers rose up and the water alpha grinned and curtsied.

((Hehe, yeah! Score for Ketaro! lol
Awww . . .Dae . . . take as much time as you need, my friend. T__T We'll be here.))
Landon's attention snapped to Ketaro as the warrior approached him. At first, he looked ready to bolt. When his arm was punched, the youth flinched and appeared to almost snap back physically. Instead, Jazereth's words caught his attention. She never denied that he was one of her warriors, though it was obvious that he wasn't.
The male's blue eyes finally moved from the newcomer back to his alpha. If he hadn't been the quiet type, he might have uttered a sound of alarm. Instead, Landon nodded to Jazereth and put on a slight smile. He looked massively uncomfortable, but at least he was willing to do what his alpha asked of him. If Jazereth wanted him to go with Ketaro, then he would. Besides, it would be better than being near the alphas' table.
-
Noctis was still as the music started. Listening, he let out a breath. He needed to listen to the others - and relax. The Feast was known for celebrations, not a death march. The world wasn't going to end. Not that night.
The Earth alpha scowled to himself, but the expression softened as he watched the Water alpha's performance. As always, she moved just like her element: swift, smooth, flowing and graceful. It was a gift, and it suited her well. Noctis didn't miss the glint of water that followed her like a trail behind every movement, nor the way her gentle scent drifted to him.
He already missed her.
Transfixed, the male sat in silence. When the others began to cheer, Noctis was still. He didn't realize they were cheering until it was too late anyway.

Derek shakes off the burden as a younger member of the clan approaches him with a drink. He wants to thank him properly but his mouth hung open slightly as he has forgotten the young one's name. " T-Thank you young one." He scratches out from the fragments of speech he was trying to use. He accepted the drink and sipped at it, sweet, bitter, like a sour kiss that had haunted him. The volume died down as the dance began, the mist in the air hung thick as the water alpha rose to the center stage of the dance. Derek couldn't help but rise up and lean against the nearest tree, he held fast to the drink in his hand as the dance began, the water around the alpha began to rise and shimmer. Mystified, a feeling of loneliness shot through his chest, as the dance proceeded so did his sorrow, he could not reason with himself to why he longed for her so much. When the dance ended Derek had tears streaming down his eyes, " I love you." He blurted out loud enough that Coventina could hear. The sound of glass exploding took hold of him as he realized he had crushed his glass in his hand, tears stinging his eyes Derek retreated into the shadows and recollect the pieces of his own life that he was trying to understand.

Coventina smiled as she finished her curtsy, though then she heard those words from a voice she would never forget. Eyes widening, and tears pulling at the corners of her blue eyes the female watched in shock as she met the eyes of the man she loved. His glass was shattered in his hand, and as he turned away, she had every instinct to go after him. Hesitating because she had had Noctis to fill the gap in her chest that used to be known as a heart, she didn't know what to do. But with a single glance towards him, her heart crumbled more. If anything, the earth alpha could very well be the end of her, with all he knew. Excusing herself, the alpha hurried after Derek, her heart clenching painfully within her chest. "Derek!" She called mentally, knowing he could hear her call. "Derek!" She called this time the words passed her lips, her nose followed his scent as she had the need to console him. To cup that face like she used to and tell him everything would be alright. "Please, don't run from me." She called, though her voice was softer, pain lingering in the words. Remembering the day when running into the woods to find him nearly dead, to cradle him to her body for him to only ask who she was had broken her heart. She didn't want it to break again as the male had seemed to recalect what they had been like together. Or at least he had seemed to.

Demi smiled at her brother. It was such a gift that he would celebrate her return, though she should not have been celebrated. After all, she had killed many of his clan and his mate still did not trust her. But the fact of the matter was that she was home. She was finally with a family that had no rules or regulations to hold her back. No cast iron laws that made emotions and wills almost illegal to show. No. This place was her home now. Though she would miss the earth clan and was missing the Feast of Frost as it was, she was very happy to be joining another clan. One that had her actual loving family in it. "If it is to start in an hour, I suppose I should get ready for the celebration, though I have nothing to wear with me. All of my possessions are in a place I can not go any longer. Maybe, If you would permit me to ask, Morgana, you and Akane could help me? I dont know the customs of your celebrations here and it would give me the chance to get to know you...... Again that is."

Morgana smiled slightly and nodded in answer to Demicora's words. "Of course I would do anything for family",her voice sounded soft and sincere, unlike her usual tone. Morgana had made up her mind to trust and love the girl. For now. She would follow Pathose's example and support Demi. Looking towards Akane she asked,"You'll help, won't you Akane?"
Jazereth quickly took to the stage after Coventina's sudden departure. Clapping her hands loudly, she drew the attention to herself. Jazereth would not let Coventina's entangled love affairs give the people a bad impression of the alphas. Closing her eyes, she dropped one of her arms while leaving the other slightly extended and bent at the elbow. Once her members took to the instruments, she took a deep breath. With a swift crack of the drum, Jazereth lunged into a fast pace dance. Flipping and kicking, each time she made a sudden movement a tongue of fire would appear around her body. It was more of a fight with an invisible enemy than a dance, just the way she liked it. Suddenly, the beat shifted, and her movements slowed. Though every muscle stayed tensed as if could feel a presence upon her. Swiftly making different impressions of creatures and elements with her hands, she pushed both forward. In a sudden movement a flame caught behind her, extending until it enveloped the stage. Taking the form of a furocious dragon, it lunged at the onlookers and even the alphas at the stone table. Walking through the inferno, Jazereth clapped her hands and the blazing dragon fell to ashes at her feet. With a brisk pace Jazereth exited the stage and approached the alphas' table.

Noctis blinked in surprise, glancing after the male who slipped away. Those words rang in his mind as well. I love you.
As the glass shattered in Derek's hand, the Earth alpha's heart felt the blow. What was he to expect? That Coventina had never been loved by another? Or that she would turn to him even after he'd turned his back on her?
Standing from the table at the same moment the Water alpha darted away from the Feast, Noctis ignored Navi's pale gaze. His maroon eyes flashed as he transformed, snapping at the nearest warrior that attempted to follow him. The meaning was clear: STAY.
The fire from Jazereth caught his attention suddenly, and Noctis started in surprise. He hadn't seen her take the stage. He hadn't even noticed the fiery form that lunged toward their table. If it had been an attack, he would have perished. Maroon eyes narrowed, and he allowed himself to pause momentarily before making his decision. He would follow Coventina.
Noctis snarled, changing forms to pursue Coventina. He hated the thought of her leaving the safety of the Feast with their enemy so close.

There's a disturbance among the alphas.
A familiar voice flickered into Pathose's head. Their spy was witnessing everything - and was sure to send regular updates to Vengeance whenever logical.
Is this troubling?

Derek stumbled through the woods dazed and eyes flooded with tears, he grew angry with himself and lack of memory. He destroyed the nearest tree in a fit of rage, continuing to stumble along. Drained of energy Derek fell at a nearby waterfall. He could barely raise his head from the ground to see it, his vision blurred but he could make out the image of something under the waterfall. Himself, Himself in an age long since past, his childhood perhaps. Derek struggled to continue watching this fading memory as he battled to remain conscious. Another person had entered the waterfall with his former self, her image was stunning to say the least. Coventina, that's who he recognized it to be, the couple was entwined into each other. Derek could see them kissing and forgetting the world around them, the image faded and slowly the darkness crept up to Derek`s eyes and swayed him to sleep.

Coventina kept following Derek's scent and hearing growling and the crash of a tree, her feet carried her faster. Her worry kept building, but she had an idea where he was heading. All water clan wolves were drawn towards water, and the waterfall close by seemed to be the direction her warrior was headed. Spotting the waterfall, and Derek passed out on its banks, the alpha ran over to him swiftly. Kneeling by his side she then felt tears pulling against her eyes. It was like the battle all over again. She could see him covered in blood like he had been before when he lost his memories. Gently pulling him into her arms and cradling his head, the woman felt a few tears run down her cheeks and hit his skin. "Derek... I'm so sorry.... I thought your memories were gone forever." She breathed and then it truely registered that Noctis was nearby and she did her best to not hurt Derek as her grip tightened on him. What was she supposed to say to the wart clan alpha? He threw her away, but the way her heart still ached to be in his arms, and ached to be held by Derek again tore her apart. Looking down at the warrior who had sworn everything to her once upon a time, made her smile weakly. "Please be okay." She breathed and leaned down and kissed his forehead.
Pathose felt the mental touch and allowed the soy into his mind. Hearing the new, the alpha smirked to himself. "It's to be expected... Keep an eye upon Coventina if possible. If they find out her affections for the earth alpha they will kill her. We need her alive." He instructed mentally. Glancing to his mother, the fire woman smiled widely and nodded. "Of course, Morgana and I can get you ready in no time. Think of this celebration as a feat of frost, but more personal. It's going to be about your return Demi." Akane said happily and smiled widely.

Roulan had perked up when he saw that Jazareth was dancing. Watching her intense dance had lightened his mood some since he was drawn to the flames she released. The warmth from the dragon was also a good comfort to him. "maybe these feasts aren't so bad after all" he decided to walk around and see if there were any female wolves he would find an interest in. When he was walking around he noticed that many of the females were from other clans, but had seemed busy socializing with friends or males from their own clan.

Spotting Roulan roaming about the crowd, Jazereth lightly fell into step beside him. "How do you like the feast so far, Roulan?" She knew he was having trouble finding someone to talk to and had observed how many others would barely glance at him. Looking ahead into the throng of people, Jazereth said quietly,"You know.....It wouldn't be a bad thing to make friends with members of other packs. It wouldn't hurt to get some reasurance from the other packs. You know what I mean?" Patting his shoulder lightly, she tilted her head into a gentle smile. Then, turning away, she approached Landon. And that warrior of the Navi's pack. Ah, yes, Ketaro. Stopping a few feet in front of the two, Jazereth observed that he wore a spaced off expression. The same expression that many wolves used when they were having a conversation through a mental link. She instantly entered Landon's mind through the link. Happening across his current conversation. 'Who is this?',she wondered. 'He is not from this pack, or any other that I know....? Is he a knew member? A scrapper I never met?' Suddenly her face paled.

((Hahah, I edited Noctis' post to include Jazereth's post. ^__^" Also: Wasn't Roulan part of Fire clan? Wait, Wind? Bah, curse this sick brain of mine. D:< The fuzziness is making it hard to think. :O))
The mental reply from Pathose was received with the feeling of agreement.
It shall be done. I'll inform you should the others grow too suspicious.
That meant it was time to keep a closer eye on the Water and Earth alphas. Unfortunately, they had run off into the forests. It was difficult to leave the Feast without being seen.
As Jazereth began to dance, Landon seemed to forget his nervousness. The male tilted his head to the side, watching with a keen interest. There wasn't one person who ignored the Fire alpha as she took stage, covering up for the other alphas as they ran. It was a successful distraction - and a pleasant one.
Landon forgot about Ketaro. He forgot about the others. He focused solely on Jazereth, his blue eyes following the tongues of flame with a deep appreciation. As a scrapper, he had mild influence over fire, but not true control. This kind of power took years of honing - and Jazereth was the best.
The dragon excited him more than anything. With a slight smile, Landon breathed in the ash-like smell that filled the air. The tinge of wood fire followed, and as Jazereth's show ended, the scrapper found his mind reaching for hers in a very non-scrapper sort of way.
Well done! The words were more like a purr, a suggestion that was followed by a wave of appreciation. The feeling was so strong, it nearly felt like a physical embrace - and a bit intrusive upon the mind.
At that moment, Jazereth approached. He blinked, looking a bit startled. Had he not noticed her approaching? Looking a bit worried, Landon's mental links severed momentarily before reconnecting with the Fire alpha's.
"I-I'm sorry. Where you asking something?"
