The government has fallen and taken over by criminals. The people are in chaos, and are following every single thing the new corrupted government telling them to do. Even the newest law;

Lyria paced around her small, poorly constructed sanctuary. The town's people had been trying to lay seige to the holy grounds of the monks where her home was inclosed. The monks had been kind enough to offer her refuge without any consultation from her gift. But even she knew that the safety was temporary. Soon, the monks would have to give in. Figuring that it would be better that she left, Lyria grabbed her goat skin pack with her few possesions in it and her fans. She didn't carry much, but it was enough to get by. Sneaking out of her mini hut, she sneaked to the outer walls of the village. The gate keeper wasn't currently on guard, so Lyria dug her hands into the small ruts in the wall andstarted hoisting herself up the wall. Soon, she had reached the top. The villagers had gone back to their homes to regroup and plan another attack, so her path was almost completely clear. Almost. Jumping down, she slithered into the woods to the East of the monk's village. Running swiftly and silently, Lyria only hoped the monks would understand.

Desamr's breath came painfully. The night air was cool and she had been running for hours on end. How she kept going was a mystery. The only thing she could think about was safety. Hoping her pursuers were far behind, Desamr stopped to catch her breath. Night. Was not a good time to running around carelessly. Kneeling, she placed a her right hand on a stone and closed her eyes. Desamr's hand started glowing a faint orange, and the rock began to tremble. Lifting her hand, she seemed to be in a trance. Her eyes snapped open and the the whole ground started to shake with a breath taking power. Rock started to flow out of the ground, making a hut like looking structure. Smiling, Desamr let her hand fall limp to her side. Crawling inside, she closed her eyes and let the flow of dreams carry her away.

The moon's light danced about the rocks, as the cool night air froze Alice to her core. She peered up at the night sky as she lessen to the water as it flowed. She looked back to the water as she sat there. She had never really fit in anywhere but here in the woods she felt at home. Her peace was shattered as she heard the sound of others in her woods. She leaped from rock to rock till she leaped into the air landing on one of the tree branches. She crouched down surveying the landscape. Her eyes fell up on a young girl. She watched as the girl ran. Her eyes widen as she watched the girl hold out her hand and cursed in her own language as she clung to the tree as the earth shook. She held onto the tree never losing her grip as she kept her cover known. From the safety of the tree she watched the girl noting her every move. She kept her silent watch noting where everything was in the forest. This was her home the one place she knew everything about. But she knew soon enough she would have to move on. This girl would bring a end to her home and peace here. Though the girl looked like she could use a friend and something to eat. If the girl was still around by morning she would help her get out of the woods and get her some food as for the others she could deal with them. This new girl wasn't the only one gifted here. And she wasn't the only one who could use the earth as a weapon.

His eyes stared into the fire. The night was cold, and his path would not bring him much further without the gift of daylight. The white haired man had very pale skin. Not sickly no, but light. He appeared to be an angel. The only thing missing were his wings. Those they were completely hidden by the brown trench coat covering his form. His hands were resting under his chin. Unknown thoughts burned away like the wood in his make-shift fire. He could hear running not to far away from him. Only one set of foot steps. Calder kept his gaze on the fire. Grey eyes not veering away for a second.

Lyria suddenly stopped mid-stride. About 100 feet away, she could see the flicker of a fire. Immediately growing tense, Lyria took in her surroundings for an escape route. Tightening her cold, black mask, she slowly began to approach the fire. It didn't take long before she was nearly upon it. Finally seeing the shadowy, pale figure, Lyria cursed under her breath. 'Though he doesn't look like a threat, he could easily be a solo soldier.' Soldiers sometimes split from their groups, trying to claim the rewards for themselves. Stepping forward, Lyria said in a harsh tone,"Who the hell are you? From the first glance you look like a sick traveler who barely knows these woods, let alone how to care for himself. Tell me who you are and I might spare your life. Though it seems like you require my assistance."

Alice kept her watch on the girl as she slept. She left her momentarily as she gathered some nuts and berries for the girl. She was very quite as she made her way to the girl. She moved silently through the trees making sure the area was safe. Slowly she put a bag she had made from animal skin down before the girl. She had filled it with a jar of fresh water, nuts,berries, along with a small dagger and some cloth. It wasn't much but the girl looked like she could use whatever anyone had to give her. Alice stepped back into her shadows as she took her silent watch this time closer to the girl hidden in the trees.

Finx watched the last rays of the sun sparkle off the lake this was her favorite time sadly though it was alot of other peoples too which meant she must keep her hood up and her eyes down so no one could tell she was gifted her white hair tended to make her easy to spot as a child with powers what normal child had white hair? She sighed softly no matter what she must keep from being killed who wanted to be dead? She rose from the spot of grass she had claimed as her own and headed back towards the abandanded building she called home.

Though Desamr was deep in sleep, she coulld sense a being nearby. Slowly and slightly opening her left eyelid a slit, she could see a girl placing food and other things that Desamr currently required. "Thank you.",she murmered. Forcing her body to move and sit up, Desamr rubbed her eyes tiredly. Seeing the girl more clearly now, she noticed that the girl had longer white hair. Smiling, she watched the stranger blend back in with the shadows. Calling out quietly, Desamr said,"Please come out! I have no intentions of hurting you what so ever! Thank you for helping me! I hope we can get to know each other and grow close! How Desamr could be happy and optimistic under the circumstances was unknown. Being bubbly and happy al the time was just her personality.

Alice froze as she heard the girl. She slowly moved from shadows as she stared at the girl. She gave a slight bow as she stood there. " I am sorry for waking you. For now we are safe here in the woods. Though I wouldn't hold my breath. If you wish to enjoy the waterfall it is only a little ways over there." She said as she pointed into the direction for her. "There are berries,herbs, and some other things. It isn't much but it could help. I take it your gifted. You are a long way from home aren't you." She said as she looked the girl over. Her dress was not suited for the area or the people that called it home. She was smaller than the normal people here. Her over all appearance gave her away. "I am Alice by the way. Excuse my rudeness. I am afraid I haven't been around others in quite some time. " She said as she gave the girl a small smile hopping that she wasn't making a bad impression.

Calder looked up at the woman whom had started to question him. He did not speak a word back to her. Instead watched her motions carefully. She was insulting him, that was for sure. Of coarse, what was Calder to say? Correct her? no point. Insult back? Again, no real point. Instead, the pale man stood, picking up a bucket of water on hand and dosed his fire. Pouring over much more than was needed to be sure the flames would not flicker back.

"Follow if you want." Calder said simply. Turning and heading towards the abandoned house he had learned to call home. He had not returned their lately, since another girl had taken up residence. Being the kind heart he was, he allowed her the comfort of a roof. But now Calder needed a few things.

She was humming a lullaby song faintly, quiet enough so that only she could hear its soothing rhythm. The vibrations slipped off her tongue and rolled out onto the horizon, bouncing off trees and rocks. Those vibrations were her guide. Nika was blind from life, but never blind from safety. She knew every crack, every crevice, and every nook and cranny in the forest. It had been days since the 'Ropes', as she had appropriately named them, had been tracking her. Now, she was seeking refuge in the forest. The Ropers couldn't find her here. There were too many hiding spots for them to find, and they would easily get lost along the way. Nika located a jumble of vines just a few meters ahead. Being so small and weighing so little, even at her age, had its perks. She climbed up the vines and positioned herself just right. The vines acted as a hammock for her body to rest on. She closed her eyes after doing a short and much louder hum. Nobody was around her for now. She was safe.

"Who do you think I am?! Some child that needs your help?!",Lyria scoffed. But with a shake of her head Lyria followed the strange male. Lyria kept her fans concealed inside her kimono. Moving her hand so that her hand was resting on her fans, she cautiously followed him. "Why do you stay out here in the cold when you have your own house. Your stupidity just baffels me. It's good to have some people like you in the world that are kind, but don't let that be your stupidity. You know soldiers are prowling about, and whether or not you are a child in which you are looking for, you will be more than likely hunted down and killed."

Desamr smiled,"You are right, I am gifted. Are you? Yet again you are right! I guess it is hard not to notice that I'm not from around here, huh? Well I guess I could go to that waterfall and check it out. I could use a bath. Even if we are not completely safe here, I'm willing to take a chance!"
