ฬђєภ ฬ๏гl๔ร ς๏llเ๔є!!!

Have you ever wonder what would happen if the human world collided with the imaginary world? What if it collided with the cyber world? What would happen then, to be exact this is where humans Live at now, in a world that has every supernatural and fantasy creatures and beings that you can think of, even they cyber beings that you can think of collide with the human world.

It has been years since the collision, when one world hit another one, turning two worlds into one larger world. They had lived peacefully with the "others" as the humans called them, so now that everything is peaceful and relaxing it is time to see just what happens, even with the racism being a big crucial fact.

Quote:
RULES THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED!!!!!

1. No God-modding. >.< This means no controlling people or doing something major to the plot. Unless I and the other players approve of such actions. Which isn't very likely. >.>
2. Please use correct grammar and punctuation.
3. No one liners. Unless there's a good reason for it or you can't really come up with anything (i.e. Writers Block) But!! You Should still be able to write two lines. Even with writers block. And, please give us something to work with.
4. Don't keep people waiting for weeks on end! o.o It's irritating when people have to wait for your post, and you're online, and posting everywhere else But the rp. >.o You will get a warning, btw. Three strikes and you're out. - -' Don't do it.
5. No drama in the ooc. Complaints, take it up with them outside of the rp. Otherwise, I'll beet you with a wiffle stick. Or a feesh. XD
6. Can and may update the rules, if I have forgotten something. So, check up here sometimes. >.>
7. No Cybering! Romance and violence is permitted, but don't be explicit about it. Think of it as watching a show with your little sib/Mom/Dad breathing down your neck asking "What are you doing?".
8. Semi-lit to lit. Meaning, you should be able to write at least a paragraph or 3-4 lines. Just give enough to work with. Doesn't mean one or two sentences.
9. There can be other races, like demons and such, but remember this is suppose to be fun.
10. No txt talk, No ** for action, Basically the same rule you see in every RP.
11. When you send me the profile, put a squee in it so I know you read it. ^ ^-
12. Language/Cussing to a moderate level please.
Title the PMs for your profile 'Fudge Ducks' and send them to Me
13. Send Profiles to me with the above mentioned title! Highlight above.
14. Don't ignore other peoples posts! They might have something important to say.
15. On that note. If you're gone and the RP had jumped two pages.. Don't ask for an update!! >.< You could at least read that much. x.x; It will only do you good to read it! Since some people might not know exactly, and thus we could give a update that isn't as epic as it was really written. Of course, you can ask for an update if, let's say, you've been gone for more than one or two days.
Yes the are rules from one of my previous threads.....just to Lazy to type them all over again

Keara sighed heavily as she hugged her bag to her chest as she walked down the street, looking left and right as she tried to stay away from the "others", she just couldn't be near them not what happened after the worlds collided, she couldn't help but flinch when a demon brushed her arm. Her green eyes stared at the ground as she froze where she was at for the moment, after a few minutes she tried to relax once more as she continued on her way down the street.

Finx had finally escaped her parents and the families that come to visit she knew that they expected her to marry one of the high ranking vampires sons but she didn't like any of them. She sighed softly and looked up at the sky if she didn't pick soon they might just pick for her and if she picked someone they didn't like well they would pick the one they did like. "Parents" she mumbled to herself quickly feeding on some poor person she happened to come across.

Scarlett glared as she walked down the now dimmed street. The sun was fading, but she didn't care. It's not like anyone would try to come after her. Almost everyone stayed away from what she was anyway. She was an 'Other'. And that pissed her off greatly. She could see the way they stared at her, as if she was some monster that people told their children about at night. But then again, that's what she was. Wasn't she? A monster?

The dark haired beauty shook her thoughts away and let her dark curls fall into her emerald eyes as she stared down at her black combat boots. She was wearing dark blue skinny jeans that were ripped on the left knee, and a crimson red corset like top. But on top of that she wore a simple leather jacket with sleeves that stopped just above her elbows.

She let her eyes wander to a few people crossing the street as she parked herself at a bench on the side of the road. It was hard to have an Angelic heart when your Demonic side constantly clashed with it. One minute she would be happy and trying to enjoy life when the next she'd start thinking all these horrible thoughts about people she barely knew, or didn't know at all. So she kept quiet. It's not like anyone wanted to talk to a monster, anyways.

"Blargh!", yawned a cyan eyed man as he picked up the order he made from the counter of the small bakeshop. "Finally, some food!" With the weighty tray firmly in his hands, Isaac carefully brought his food to a table by the window. A slice of a lovely 3-layer cake, a chocolate chip muffin, a slice of chocolate cream pie, and a box of cookies. As for drinks, he opted for a strawberry milkshake. Not the healthiest meal to have but thinking of what's good for you is hard with an empty stomach. He had not eaten anything for lunch and only got off of work a few minutes ago.

Ever since he was little, he made it a point to eat hearty breakfasts as often as possible so he could skip lunch as much as possible. He preferred going out to play games during his midday breaks rather than wasting that precious time stuffing his face. This bad habit continued on into his adulthood and he would play video games at work during lunch time instead of eating out with the rest of his co-workers. That said, it was a miracle how he could could muster the effort to concentrate on all of his paperwork with his stomach growling constantly for the last three hours in his shift.

Sugar was on the menu now. But even if he were mindful of his health, it was hard to resist this bakeshop's delicious array of baked goods and fabulous drinks. The owner of this store was a werewolf who decided to settle into a more peaceful life after the collision of the worlds. According to the orange-haired owner, Earth was a weird world to have survived for so long without magic, but she loved not having to constantly hunt or fight for her food anymore. The cows here were eve tastier than the ones she used to eat, in her opinion.

As Isaac was about to ravenously devour his cake, a low growl mixed with a sort of whining sound came from the window. It wasn't what was outside that was the source of the sound. It was coming from the glass itself. Or rather, what was reflected on it. "What? Did you want some too, Nikola?", Isaac reluctantly asked the translucently faint image of a large creature on the window. It had the head of a monstrous dog, the body of a lion, and a snake for a tail. The chimera nodded in reply to the question, staring eagerly at the box of cookies. Though he did not wish to part so quickly with the cookies, Isaac begrudgingly took one of them out for himself before tossing the rest of the box at the window. Instead of bouncing off of the glass as one might expect, the box was quickly and effectively crushed within the beast's open jaws as if he were physically there.

Sighing at the loss of so many potentially good bites, Isaac continued with his meal. As he ate, he glanced out the window every now and again. With the sun already setting, many people began filling the roads and sidewalks. From people going out shopping to people getting off work, the streets were crowded and lively. It was obvious that humans were no longer the only ones moving through the city. Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies, Elves, any kind of fantasy creature you could think of now share the same world thanks to the collision. Still, sometimes it was hard to tell who was who since many of the others looked human on the outside. One girl he saw seemed human at first. But when the purple haired female swiftly took down and drank the blood of a passerby, he realized she was actually a vampire.

"Ouch.", he mumbled to himself in slight amusement, before looking elsewhere. There was another girl sitting on a bench who had long, black hair. She looked human enough and didn't seem to be as grabby-bitey as the other one. Then he noticed a lovely red-head nervously making her way through the bustling stream of people. She did not seem to like supernaturals. "Yep. Definitely human."

"Hey, I've got something to talk to you abou-"

"
Wah!?"

Ilandere jumped out of her chair, effectively sending all her papers flying. The younger woman behind her, a fairly new addition to their busy police department, stood there wide-eyed, hand held out to where a certain jumpy person's shoulder had been.

"
E-Evie?" Lan finally got out, picking her reading glasses up off the floor before starting on the papers now strewn about her small office. She had a tendency to concentrate too much on one thing when left by herself for a while. "Sorry, I guess I was over-analyzing something again.. You know how that is.. Erm, how can I help?"

Evie, shaking her head with a small laugh, closed the door behind her and bent down to help clear up the mess. She was a cute and quite cheerful brunette in her early twenties, wearing glasses and her hair up in a ponytail. You could say she was the near opposite, personality-wise, of shy Ilandere and everyone in their station house would agree. No one could guess they were actually sisters, though Ilandere herself was adopted.

"Well, it's about the case of.." Evie began, only to be interrupted by a third person opening the door to enter the already-cramped space they were in.

"Hey! Lan!" boomed the husky voice of Noah, Lan's "long-time partner-in-crime" as he liked to put it. The evidently empty-looking room that he'd just greeted puzzled him greatly. "Where..?"

Until he looked down, that is.

"Oh," the handsome, seemingly thirty-year-old, blonde-haired man said, breaking the curtain of silence that covered them for a few seconds while his mind processed what just happened.

"What do you want, Lieutenant Noah? We're a little busy here if you haven't noticed," Evie said with a huff, annoyed at being intruded upon. At this, Noah gave his signature smirk. Perhaps she was still mad at him being promoted to a higher rank than her sister even though they both entered the force at the same time. If that was the case shouldn't she be mad at her father, the Commissioner, instead? Human females really are quite mysterious.

"Hello to you too, Officer Evienne. I didn't know there was a party going on in here for my sake. Threesome anyone?" he asked mischievously, leaning against the door frame. Being a Poltergeist, he really had to fight hard to hide his glee at the sudden rush of warm color appearing on both females' faces.

"
N-Noah, that's a little.. I mean.. she.. we're sisters..! And it's not that I don't li-like you or anything.. but.. well.. you see.. the c-code.." a blushing Ilandere responded with honest intentions, unaware that she was making the situation [not to mention Noah's laughter] worse. Evie could only facepalm at her sister's awkwardness, throwing a flurry of papers to childhood friend Noah's face the next second.

Needless to say, the rest of the day went by uneventfully. The commotion caused by this morning's antics had died down around noon, the only call that came in was about a missing cat, and come sunset Ilandere was ready to check out and let the night-shift handle everything. Evie already left an hour ago, taking the subway home to their parents' house further out of the city. Noah, as always, playfully suggested both sisters spend the night at his place before waving goodbye and driving off.

Thankfully her apartment building was five minutes away. Literally a straight cut through the park across the street. It was really the only reason why she tended to stay and work later than the rest. That and she enjoyed the cool evening breeze.

"
Oh, right, I should probably go by the supermarket," she told herself out loud, briefly glancing at her watch. Her fridge was practically empty after breakfast. Besides that, she promised everyone she'd make lunch for tomorrow. That would mean preparing everything tonight and no time to cook. Maybe she could treat herself out to dinner? It's been a while since she's done that.

As was tradition, she would pick a random girl-- yes, girl, because she wasn't that great with men-- to bring with her. In fact the next person she saw after closing her eyes for four minutes would be the one. It wouldn't really bother her if the one she picked was in a group either. Sitting down in front of the station with her eyes closed she began to count.

"
Excuse me, Miss..?" she called out to the lucky red-haired young woman that happened to be standing frozen right in front of her. Maybe Lan didn't say it loud enough, though, because the girl suddenly started walking off again. Determined to give the odd but lovely girl a chance to reply she quickly jogged up beside her. "Excuse me, would you care to join me for dinner?"

Poor Ilandere would never realize that it was this kind of pick-up line only people like Noah would use.

[Haha, sorry it's so long.. XD The rest of my posts are probably never going to be like this.]

The dark haired woman's emerald eyes lit up curiously as a man across the street flung a box of goodies at the bakery window. She guessed there was some sort of creature in the reflection, because the box didn't make contact with the window at all. She glanced down aimlessly at her boots before standing up. She needed some food. Plus seeing the vampire munch down on someones throat wasn't exactly what she wanted to see after a long day of working at the antique shop down the street.

She decided to get a pastry since it was just across the street, plus she was curious to see what 'creature' had eaten the whole box of sweets. The divine youth made her way across the street and quickly into the pastry building, her eyes glancing around quickly to inspect the windows, but then she just looked at the food. "Can I get Mocha Frappucino and a brownie, please?" She asked in a velvety tone. Even though she was part Demon she still had manners.

Once she got her food she gave the worker some money and then sat in a chair near the opposite window, taking a sip of her wonderfully good coffee. She looked out the window, watching as others crossed the street. The world was in chaos in her eyes, no matter how much they called it 'peace' that's not what it was. And most people knew it. Humans still feared to wander the street at night, and some even feared to go out at daytime as well. Once again she shook her thoughts away and bit into the delicious brownie. It made her think of home.

Keara did not mind the "others" it was just that her first experience with them was a bad one, so you could say that she was more overly cautious when it comes to them, she rather have things back to how they were before, she would have rather things to be at peace but that could never be.
She jumped back when she saw a vampire come down from what seemed like no where to drink the blood from a human, she ended up bumping into someone behind her. She gave almost a shocked/pained noise as she moved away from the woman, looking her over before sighing in relief to find that it was just an officer. "Ó, bleachtaireachta ..... Scanraithe tú liom. I mean..... detective.....you scared me" she said to the female in her soft, slightly irish accented voice as she put a hand to her heart, giving the woman a smile before she moved closer to her when a fairy walked to close to her, oh how her nerves where on end, she was scared for her life since the day the two worlds collided together. she tended to forget to speak english to people, her language was rare now since Ireland was destroyed, taking her homeland away from her, so you could say that she had lost a lot. "Dinner....ah ummm......is it for company or are you asking me for a date?" she asked the girl, feeling a little bit uncomfortable and a bit shy at the question, she knew that she shouldn't have asked her that considering it wasn't her buisness but it came out her mouth before she could even think about what she was saying to the blue haired woman.

Zamir sighed hevily as he ran a hand through his silver hair, his red eyes scanned the area as he had a straight face on, he was just a computer program, someone's character, nothing more, but yet here he was in a world that was not his own, everything was different and couldn't help but feel like he had been controlled earlier but he didn't mind it to much as he just watched a vampire take blood. Blood didn't bother him, after all he was a blood elf, an assassin for hire, he loved to leave a bloody mess and to be covered in blood as he smiled to the world not like the police or anyone knew it was him that was doing all these random killings, considering he had no reason to kill his prey to begin with, except for the pay of course.

"Wha-? Hey!" Because he was so busy people watching, Isaac almost did not look back at his table in time to catch Nikola. While he had been distracted, the chimera dog decided to eat half of the chocolate cream pie. He would have gotten away with gobbling up the rest of it had his owner not swatted him on the head. "Bad dog!"

Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. The option to eat the chimera's leftovers was neither an appetizing nor sanitary one. Isaac had no choice but to give what was left to the eagerly awaiting beast in the glass."Ugh, here.", he said dismally, sliding the plate closer to the window. "But why do I get the feeling this was your plan all along?" To anyone who was looking, the creature in the glass appeared to be nothing more than a pale reflection of a chimera. Except that there was nothing solid inside or outside the window to reflect. Yet Nikola was able to devour the slice like he was physically there. It was one of this creature's many odd traits that Isaac slowly learned about over the years since he found Nikola.

A few customers in the store watched the strange transaction between the oversized pet and his owner. Others merely ignored the scene and kept to their own business. Perhaps it was because most were used to sights like this already, what with so many non-humans living together with humans.

It was true that there were dangers that came with the fusion of the different worlds. Some countries have been adversely affected by the impact with damages ranging from ruined infrastructure to a complete annihilation of a population by violent monsters. Ireland, which no longer exists, was a well known and terrible example of this.

However, there were also benefits, such as the fact that the planet was now bigger. There was enough space for everyone and many of the new flora and fauna became a bountiful source of food. Also, both the fantasy and cyber worlds had means to heal grave illnesses and injuries easily. Such methods did not normally work in the human world as they were considered imaginary. But since the collision made them real for humans, people now enjoy better health and longer lifespans. Well, at least in a broad sense anyway. Vampires, demons, werewolves, and other such beings still needed to eat. And naturally, their well being will come at the expense of any human unlucky enough to be nearby when they get hungry. It was a nervous co-existence between predators and prey.

In order to keep the rest of his food safe, Isaac moved the dishes to the side of the table furthest from the glass and Nikola. When he felt it was secure, he finished off his cake and took a sip of his drink. Looking around the small bakeshop, the man's eyes stopped over the familiar face of a girl. She was the same one who had been sitting on the bench outside. It was only a while ago that she entered the store, ordered a drink and a brownie, and took a spot by another window. Now that he had a closer look, she didn't seem so ordinary anymore. Sure there was the fact that her face was prettier than most, but she also gave Isaac the impression of conflict. An affiliation to both darkness and light.

As night drew closer, the tall dark man found it near time to drift off into the city. He was really quite the nightowl, considering his species. Eversince the collision, however, his habits were starting to shift to that of a normal human cycle; Be up by day and asleep by night. The young werewolf put on his eye-catching odd clothing and set out for town. He enjoyed viewing the remnants of the once pure human city. He was quite the adventurer, of sorts but only in the sense that he liked to travel.

Putting his hand over his stomach, he was starting to become hungry. Though, any human was safe from the werewolf, due to enchanted wood plugs in his ear lobes, carved from his homeland to stave off his beastly self. Wanting to eat out, he paused on the sidewalk to check his wallet. He had quite some money left, lucky for him, but it was slowly dwindling. One more night out at a human restaurant wouldn't hurt. But still, it was quite early. Perhaps a snack would suffice. The tall native looking man smelled some quite sweet breads, and insisted on checking it out as he stepped foot in the bakery, taking in all the smells and sights before heading to the counter to view his choices.

Scarlett eyed the reflection of the beast and smirked slightly as it ate the mans food. She stood up and walked over towards the man, her boots clicking as she walked. "Is that a Chimera? The village I come from had a few similar, But it's been years since I last saw one." She said, her emerald eyes quickly glanced to the man, but then darted back to a familiar creature she saw in the window. It seemed that she was soaking the sight in. It wasn't often that she saw something that was similar to her home. She then shook herself out of her trance and glanced back to the male. "Oh, forgive me for intruding on your meal. I was just very interested." She said, giving a slight nod in apology.

She hoped he wasn't the type to get angry at such things, but if he did she would most likely just leave. She then tossed the animal what was left of her brownie and flashed her pearly whites in a smile when it almost instantly swallowed the pastry. She glanced to the door when another male walked in. She bit her lip, trying to decide what race he was. That's all she did nowadays. Try and figure out who was who, what was what, it was just something she found entertaining.

Scarlett didn't have much friends, so she often just spent her life painting, dancing, working in her antique shop, and avoiding people that she knew would set her dark side off. So far she was at peace. Hopefully it would stay that way so she wouldn't end up doing something she would later regret.

"Yeah, I guess it is.", the gray haired man replied. He was surprised that the girl would suddenly come over like that. In truth, he had expected to get yelled at since he realized a little too late that he had been staring at her in a rather rude way. "And don't worry about it. I wouldn't mind the company." Pointing to the empty seat across from him, he added. "Have a seat if you'd like."

He didn't expect anything less when Nikola happily ate what the woman offered. The chimera's appetite was something that only grew as fast as he did. This past year alone, Isaac had to work harder in order to afford all of the food his pet started to need. "So you've got chimeras like him where you came from? I take it you're from one of the other worlds then." Isaac paused to look at the overgrown dog. He was now licking his paw like a cat. Nikola's tail, which had a mind of its own, was partially coiled up by his side, flicking its tongue at a passerby every now and again. "I found this guy when he was just a puppy a couple of years back. You wouldn't believe how small he was back then. Well, maybe you would since you've seen them before. But seriously! This guy used to ride on my head! Now he can't even fit in my apartment's living room without breaking something. I guess I'm lucky he can live in mirrors and reflective things."

Stopping to drink his milkshake, Isaac once again glanced at Nikola. The great fluff ball was now attempting to rub his head against the lady's shoulder. While the chimera could easily run into any mirror-like surface to enter it, getting him out was a little more complicated. Not that Isaac needed a giant mutt rampaging around in his cramped house all the time. Still, it was nice to know that many of the not-so-friendly things out there would think twice before attacking someone who had a set of giant fangs and claws on his side. Oddly enough, only electricity could summon Nikola out of the mirror realm. Lightning does wonders but how often will a lightning storm pop up when you need it? Isaac was just lucky that lightning hit his building the first time the chimera shoved himself into a window. But the duo eventually learned that any open electrical socket is just as good. Nikola found that he could bust his way out from them. The only drawback is that whichever building he's in tends to suffer from a temporary blackout. Plus the scorch marks that appear on the nearby wall and floor.

"I heard from some people there were some things that chimeras like him eat which keep them full better than ordinary food can. Just never found out what they were." At this time Isaac noticed the man looking over the pastries at the counter. He wasn't as acute as his companion, not having paid attention when the strange guy walked in. However the man's mohawk and unique fashion sense made him pretty hard to miss otherwise. "Oh yeah, completely forgot!", he said, returning his attention to the girl. "My name's Isaac. And you are?"

Scarlett smiled as Nikola tried to rub its head on her shoulder. "Well sort of. The world I come from is very similar to this one, just Angelics live in one area, demons in another, and then elementics in another." She said, running a slender hand through her dark locks. "The area I come from there's usually a Chimera in each household. But.. When my home was attacked they all seemed to vanish." She said, reaching her hand towards the glass and gently trailing her fingers over it gracefully.

Her eyes then flicked over to the man who had just introduced himself as Isaac. "My name is Scarlett. Scarlett Andrews." She said, giving a slight nod of her head. "Nice to meet you." She said, sitting down when the man had offered her a seat. "Again, I'm really sorry I intruded.. I just saw something I remembered from home and I was over here before I even thought about it." She said, giving a small smirk.

She looked down at her coffee cup, gently trailing her finger around the lid. Her dark bangs fell into her emerald eyes and she glanced back up at him. "Yes, you are lucky. Some of them get much bigger. The one in our home could only be let out of the mirror when we were outdoors, or else he would destroy are home." She said, smiling at the memory. "And yes, they are rather small. It's amazing how they're such big animals and yet when they're puppies they could fit in your arms." She said, flashing her pearly whites.

"Eh? Your home was attacked? That's harsh! How come?" asked Isaac with a look of surprise. "I'd like to guess it was the demons but I've learned a lot of those who call themselves demons here turned out not to be as bad as their title implied." He thought back to all the times he had watched the news and seen the aftermath of terrible raids and invasions. The worst of them happened within the first year of the collision. For all sides involved, the sudden introduction of so many new neighbors meant hardly any time to gather proper information about them. A lot of mistakes were made. Isaac's personal policy concerning anyone not of his species since then has been 'If they don't look like they want to eat you, don't bother them.'

Wondering how much strawberry milkshake he had left, Isaac briefly shook his opaque tumbler and gauged the amount left by sound. The canine chimera in the meantime decided to lay down in the window. He felt content being near someone whose scent reminded him of his old home. Even if he had lived out most of his life in the human world, Nikola still had a few vague memories of his parents and the other world.

"Well.. Yes It was the demons.." She said, biting her lip and looking at her slender hands. "They wanted something that our village had that they could use to destroy many races." She said, leaning back in her chair. "It was considered a very special thing..And they took it from the ashes of our city and kept it in their's to use as a weapon." She said, taking a sip of her coffee.

At his words she gave a soft smile. "No. They aren't all so bad. But they all have one thing in common; They will let you down eventually. And you can't trust them." She said softly. She grimaced as if in pain by the memory she had just thought of, then looked away. "Sorry Isaac, I've been to busy talking about me. Where are you from?" She asked, eager to change the subject. If he knew what she was he probably would automatically know she was an unbalanced monster that no one should be near. And she didn't want that. She was quite content with people thinking she was a fragile woman.

Zamir looked around for a few minutes, he had a couple of weeks off between jobs, he smiled before he walked into the bakery, blinking at Issac and Scarlet before he looked at the colorful male that was before him, he thought for a few minutes before he walked back outside, looking at the Vampire who had finished munching on a human. "Hey vampire!!! Want to eat cookies with me and a fellow friend?" he called to Finx as he watched her for a few minutes, smiling as he motioned for her to come into the bakery to have some sweets with him. Once he was sure that she was going to come inside, he paid for a box of various cookies quickly before Snagging Sorren and pushing him into a seat at a free table. When Finx opened the door, he went over to her, snagging her hand and pulling her over to the table that he had just seated Sorren at moments before, even spread out all the cookies he bought. "I hope that you guys enjoy these cookies."

Sorren had been eyeing a certain brownie for a few minutes now, his ear twitching at the sound of the door opening. He smelled a familiar odor and brushed it off before moving closer to the counter about to order himself a brownie. Zamir was soon beside him, taking over his order and getting a variety of cookies and then proceeded to claim the young werewolf and push him into a seat.

For a few moments he was at a loss, only sitting there until something by someone else was said. He politely stood for the woman that joined them, holding out a chair for her. You always treated a lady as such, but he didn't reprimand Zamir for his excitement and lack of manners. It wasn't his place to change other's and their habits.

"Da-date!? N-no, erm.." Ilandere stuttered, blushing in embarrassment. How could she be so stupid, blurting out a questionable question like that? That darn Noah and his influence, she thought, habitually starting to twiddle her thumbs. "It's f-for company, so.."

The blue-haired woman looked around nervously. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all? She couldn't blame the redhead for being suspicious, especially nowadays when everyone is still wary of everyone else after the great collision. There was a time that even Lan herself was like that. Scared and confused.. Like when Noah, her imaginary childhood friend, suddenly appeared to her a few years ago. Needless to say she couldn't even scream because she was so shocked. But probably not more so than the young lady in front of her. Judging by the language she spoke earlier, coupled with her flaming hair, she quickly deduced the female was from Ireland. She was lucky to be alive, yet unlucky to lose her homeland and people.

"
Pick any place you want," the detective finally spoke, shaking her head before her bad habit of "thinking too much" could get the best of her. There was nothing she could do about what happened in the past, but in front of her now was an opportunity to bring some kind of happiness to someone who deserves it. "My treat, okay?"

"Oh." he said after hearing her story. "Sorry for your loss..." Isaac was curious about the weapon that the demons had stolen but decided not to inquire about it anymore. The man hoped he hadn't made her too uncomfortable by asking about such a dismal past. But her pained expression only served to confirm his suspicions. It was only right that she asked him about his origins. "Me? I'm originally from Niflheim City. It's about an hour's drive East of here if you take the main highway. I lived with my parents there when I was a kid. When I graduated from high school they decided we'd move here. Of course, this city wasn't as big back then as it is now. Pretty quick expansion for a metropolis, now that I think about it....Oh wait! I guess that's 'cause when magic became real for humans, building things became much easier, huh?"

Before continuing, Isaac glanced over at the party of three that had taken up a table nearby. They were about to partake of a box of assorted cookies that a male with elvish ears had bought. This sight served only to remind Isaac of the ones he had lost to Nikola. The sole remaining remnant of his box sat pitifully on the chocolate chip muffin by his cake plate. It was a peach filled cookie and Isaac had playfully balanced it there after he fed the dog. Deciding now was as good a time as any to finish it off, he grabbed the peach cookie and ate it with a small feeling of jealousy.
