Unbidden, light seeped through my closed eyelids and I groggily swam up from the warm and cozy depths of sleep. Blinking in the rosy dawn light, I stretched the rest of my dopey tiredness out. I tossed off the blanket Abby had sweetly placed on me the night before and stood up, the morning chill already seeping into my bones. I glanced over at Abby, who was still snoozing contentedly on my bed. She curled up around a pillow, one arm thrown out away from her. The exhaustion lines I had noted in her face the day before were noticeably smoother. She doesn't sleep much. It seems last night has done her some good. I thought as I padded into the bathroom that was set off from my bedroom.
Quietly, I closed the door and peeled out of my limp and rumpled clothes. I ran the shower, letting it heat up as I laid out my outfit for the day, letting it warm in the steam building in the bathroom. A blue camisole underneath an over sized cream sweater, simple blue jeans and low heeled black knee high boots. By now, the bathroom had steamed up enough and I climbed in, grateful to scrub off yesterday's grime. The heat chased away the chill, and the remainder of of my sleepiness wore off. I washed off the rest of the soap and jumped out. I dressed quickly, before the cold could creep back into my bathroom. In a rare spurt of sheer laziness, I decided to leave my hair undone today and let it dry naturally, which would allow my curls to set better.
Freshly dressed, I stepped back into my room, careful not to wake Abby up. I set a pot of coffee going and set out two cups. I went back into my bathroom and picked out an outfit I would wear if I were glamoured, as I am much smaller than Abby in my natural state and none of my other clothes would fit her. I ran the shower again and closed the door so the steam could set up and warm her clothes. I walked over to where Abby lay and placed my hand on her arm.
"Abby, dear." I said softly. "Time to wake. I have fresh clothes set out for you so one of the servants can wash yours for you. I also have the shower running and coffee going. By the time you step out I should have breakfast ready as well. I'm making chocolate chip pancakes. I have a sneaking suspicion this is your ideal breakfast so wake quickly." I gave her a small smile before I hurried off to the kitchen and went about setting everything out for breakfast. It felt good to be doing something so normal after the shocking day that was yesterday. Abby and I desperately needed normalcy, even if it was as simple as cooking breakfast on a Sunday morning.

Shutting my eyes tighter as i herd Willow's sweet word's pull me from my dreamless sleep I couldn't bare to leave such a peaceful sleep it has been so long since I slept the whole night & it was wonderful. Regrettably I sat up, stretching as I pushed the blanket off. The smell of fresh coffee made my mouth water as I made my way to the bathroom, the cold chill of morning all ready crawling up my skin,it's sharp teeth leaving goosebumps in it's wake.
The bathroom was covered with hot stem when I walked threw the door. I lazily made my way to the shower stepping in, letting the fresh water wash the grim & sleep away. I washed quickly and stepped out wrapping my self in one of Willow's Huge towels and walked to where she placed my clothes for the day. A simple brown & cream striped sweeter, plain blue jeans & knee high boots to match the brown in my shirt. Perfect for me Willow already new me so well it made me laugh. I dressed quickly, towel dried my hair, brushed it out a few times then left to bathroom to find Willow.
" Oh coffee a God you are Willow, would you maybe have some hot coco mix I could use?" I asked seeing the bacon & lunging for it. Oh & not to crispy this girl was going to be the death of me. You are very kind to do all this I don't know how to repay such a kind fairy as you." I said between bites grabbing 3 more pieces as I stirred in the coco to my coffee & took the 1st sip.Oh the joy of coffee my life is complete, I giggled at the thought & took a bite of my pancakes light and fluffy with just the right amount of chocolate chips my brain was in Homer Simpson mode. Eye's rolled back & tong hanging out I was so fortunate to have such a wonderful friend."Maybe today you could show me around this place there is so much I want to see & learn about here never in my dreams could I imagine this was real." I smiled & continued eating.

Abby personified my inner feelings as I ate the delicious food before us. Over the years, I had relied on Gwyn to supply my food, as I was too busy to make my own. But there was something about the satisfaction of eating food you made that makes it somehow that much better.
"There is no need to thank me, Abby." I responded. "As I said last night, we Fae are a hospitable folk, and besides my nature, you are my friend. That is what friends do for each other. Repayment isn't necessary." I finished my plate and stood, gathering Abby's now bare plate and took them to the sink, running them under the water before setting them on the bottom of the sink. I drained my coffee before continuing.
"I figured I could take you to work with me today." I said washing my cup out. "You will get to see plenty of the palace, you needn't worry. But you will also get to meet the staff, see the inner workings of my Aunt's castle. We will have little time for rest, save for lunch time. If my duties are done early, we can take a better tour of the palace, or if you would like, you can meet the townsfolk down the road. Shall we get started, then?"
I grabbed my messenger bag and threw it over my shoulder and handed Abby her purse. "First, we meet Greta, Luciana's lady in waiting. She relays my duties. I report to her and she reports to my Aunt."

"I can't wait to see what a fairy princess has to do for chores everyday, I'm sure it doesn't involve mowing the court yard or cleaning the royal cats litter box dose it?" I laughed & followed Willow out the door & started down one of the amazing halls of the palace. The structure was amazing winding pillars with green & gold vines lacing up them, floor too ceiling doors with all sorts of wonderful molding's on them. Today would be complete if I met the Queen & got to be princess for a day then my inner six year old would be in 7th heaven. I laughed at the thought then hurried to keep up with Willow.
Nodding at all the guards as we walked by I was in awe at how many there were,Poor queen must be really paranoid. All my inner thought's were cut short when we started to pass one door the moldings were amazing, but my mouth hit the floor when I saw the name at the top of the door "Leabharlann". "Willow this is your Library?" I asked barley able to speak never had i seen such a big library not even the the library of congress. With out waiting for her to pass I pushed passed the guards with a excuses me & walked threw the doors.
I almost broke into tears as I read some of the authors, everyone from Jules Vern to Steven King.Dad would have a heart attack if he saw this. I said the tears spelling over the edge as i picked up the complete set of Grim Brothers. "why didn't you tell me about this place?" I asked Willow grabbing everyone I could get my hands on.

I watched Abby with a small smile as she flitted about the Library, grabbing books here and there, embracing the ones she new, as if they were old friends and staring in wonder at ones she didn't.
"Since you will be staying here for a while," I said to the blur that was Abby. "Take as many as you like. Even the history ones. I suggest you start with Conception of the Light Fae and Conception of the Dark Fae. Both give you wonderful insight to the three types of Fae."
Noticing Abby's curious look, I pointed it the direction of the two books. She scurried off, eager to grab the massive tomes. "First row, turn right, halfway down, average eye level, light grey book and dark blue book." I called after her.
I walked the rest of the way into the library and settled into an over sized armchair with a table in front of it and an identical chair in the other side. We had fifteen minutes to spare before I had to report to Greta. Abby appeared from the depths of the shelves, balancing half a dozen books in her arms as she precariously made her way to the table. Setting them down, she flopped into the chair, breathless. Her cheeks were flushed and eyes bright with excitement.
Scooting forward, I placed my elbows on the table, cradling my face with my hands. "Abby, this may come as a surprise to you, but I am not a full Fae." At Abby's confused look, I explained further. "I am a Light Fae, only half, descended from the original Fair Folk. I am a Fae/Angel hybrid. Dark Fae are distant cousins of ours, only they are Fae/Demon hybrids. There is very few of the Fair Folk left, most of them have settled down with the Light or Dark Fae."
"The Fair Folk used to be neutral." I continued. "They were the original liaisons between Heaven and Hell, tasked with keeping the peace so war would not break out, so the humans' innocence would remain preserved as well as their safety. It was common knowledge that the Fae were lying with Angel and Demon alike. There was nothing done to stop it, why should there be? Impulses are natural, we Fae are comfortable with that, so we do not try to suppress them unless those impulses endanger others."
"So two new species were born, Light Fae and Dark Fae. Angel Fae and Demon Fae. As a precaution so Children of Lillith and Children of the Lord cannot create a Demon/Fae/Angel hybrid, a species of unimaginable power, only Light Fae can create children with other Light Fae, Fair Folk or Angels. And only Dark Fae can create children with other Dark Fae, Fair Folk or Demons. The two sub species can never mix, although they can copulate. A different matter entirely. Although, there have been cases of siblings where one is Light Fae and the other Dark Fae, their mother being of the Fair Folk, but one father was a Demon and the other was an Angel, it is rare but possible. But a problem arose. These two species can never be neutral, because of the one half of their parentage. As the Fair Folk dwindle, Light and Dark Fae are the new barriers, the new liaisons. But we are two species that have an inborn dislike for each other, making negotiations very difficult at best, downright nasty at worst." I settled back into my chair and took a deep breath before continuing.
"Several hundred years ago, we discovered a new race after the oracles vanished. Nephilim. Children of human and Angelic parentage. The Nephilim are warriors, sworn to protect the human race from demons of all kind. We are lucky that they have become close allies of ours..." And then it hit me. I exploded from the armchair, my knee banging into the table as realization dawning on me like a sunrise after years of darkness.
"I'VE GOT IT." I bellowed, pointing a finger at Abby, her face a mixture of fear and confusion at my unexpected outburst. "I know what you are! This whole time I should have known, but the information was never clear, since the oracles were wiped out. The Angels refused to tell us how to tell if there was an oracle born, out of protection, so we relied on old scrolls, destroyed after hundreds upon hundreds of years of disuse. Much of the detail was lost to us..." I fell to my knees in front of her, taking her hands into mine.
"Abby," I said excitedly, a smile breaking across my face. "You are the product of a Nephilim and Light Fae relationship. There haven't been any Nephilim Fae children since the Great Slaughter. I don't know why we haven't figured this out sooner. This explains everything! Children of Light Fae and Nephilim parentage are born with a unique ability to see time. Every one else sees it chronologically, but these children can see the past, the future and the present at whim. They can call up any particular date like finding a file in a cabinet. But the most unique thing about these children is that they are always girls. Oh, Abby!" I pulled Abby into my arms and danced in a circle, happy to have cracked the mystery.

I pulled away from her happy dancing & sat down in the over stuffed arm chair. This was a lot to take in my parent's Fea & Nephilim it just couldn't be, mom & dad were just so normal. But if they were which one was which?" Well I didn't say but all the first born children in my family are girl's & I'm the seventh first born child so could that mean anything? I said pulling away from her happy dancing my head throbbing with thought's & information,it just couldn't be. I thought shaking my head over & over.
" If I am this child of these people then why do I get sick every time after & also I see the Fates are they not from ancient Greece?" I asked her pleading to understand more it was just to much to take in, in two day's to to much. I pulled the Grim brother's close to my chest holding tightly, why didn't you tell me daddy why. I thought the tears spieling over the rims of my eyes. How could I do this with out him? I looked up at Willow's concern face & smiled a sad smile at her. " Can you handle all you have to do by your self today I just want to spend some time to my self try to clear my mind & I guess read up on my lineage?" I asked her setting the Grim Brother's down and pulling the thick gray book to me.
She nodded & headed to the door telling me she will check on me at lunch. I nodded & waved at her as she left the big library. Little Oracle you will come to find out this information will help you in the coming months. I Heard the Fates say softly to me. LEAVE ME ALONE! ONE MOMENT OF PEACE WITHOUT YOU PLEASE! I screamed at the invisible Fates, a guard opened the door looking at me with a shocked face." Sorry the voices in my head are driving me nuts," I gave a nervous laugh as he shook his head & closed the door.I can do this I can do this, I told my self opening the thick book & began to read.

"LEAVE ME ALONE. ONE MOMENT OF PEACE WITHOUT YOU PLEASE." I flinched as I heard her voice down the corridor. I leaned up against the wall, before slowly sinking to my feet. I sat there, staring into space, guilty for the way I acted. I should have been more considerate of Abby's feelings. I thought angrily. Not everyone likes to find out their parents lied to them about their heritage. Nor do they enjoy finding out about it when their parents aren't there to tell them what they need to know about themselves.
I resolved myself and stood up. Squaring my shoulders, I marched down the corridor and barged into Greta's tiny, dust filled office.
"I cannot report for duty today, Greta." I said. "A problem has arisen and I aim to solve it. Please ask another to perform my duties today. Do not ask questions. If Luciana asks about me, feel free to tell her what I have told you. Thank you and good day." I whisked out of her office as quick as I came in, leaving her open mouthed and dumbfounded.
I set off at a jog back towards the library. I pushed through the doors and came to a skidding halt at Abby's feet.
"I'm not leaving you here by yourself." I said apologetically. "You deserve better than that. I behaved improperly and shouldn't have dropped a bomb on you like that. I was excited to discover the truth behind your heritage and didn't stop to think about how you might handle it. And for that I am terribly sorry. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to gather as much information on this subject that I can manage and we are going to spend the day eating junk food finding out who you are."
I dropped a kick kiss on her cheek and set about scurrying around the library grabbing any book that related to the topic we were researching. I threw them into the little cart I was pulling behind me until it was piled with books of all shapes and sizes and colors, all in various states of repair. I lugged the cart back to our reading nook, grabbed one at random and flopped down.
"Don't look at me like that." I said sagely. "I am quite sane, thank you. Mother had me tested. Now let's to work, we have much to do."
Seconds later, the doors to the library opened and in came Gwyn, pushing a cart similar to the one by our chairs, only it was piled with treats instead of books. As she turned, I slightly inclined my head, thanking her for her quick response. Wordlessly, she left the cart by us and made her way out, but not before giving me a tiny wink.

Dumbfounded I looked at everything that Willow was doing & smiled she really did care about me." I know you didn't mean any harm by telling me what you did but finding out that "odd Abby" is really very very odd but doesn't know why or why her parents NEVER once said anything about it is a bit of a shock I'm sorry I went all emotional teen on you." I said with a laugh grabbing a bag of Cheetos's from the cart & a pop.
After hours of searching we only came across a few thing's about the children like me. Yes we seemed to be all girl's, more often then not the mother is of Light Fea origin,We also answer to yes the gawd awfully annoying old crones who yes actually exist. UGH! I thought with a sigh & herd the Fatestisk at me. The worst of all was that the other Oracle Women never seemed to live past twenty-five there brain's can't take the stress of the visions & they die from brain himrerage or they just kill them selves because of the stress.
I push the books away for now to sick to read another line & take a drink of my pop. " So my thinking after reading most of this stuff is I need the whole boyfriend experience & maybe get married all before I'm twenty-five yeah this could be fun. Guess I need to change my look." I said laughing uneasily my mind floating back to death by twenty-five,its so young. I thought shaking my head trying to clear it.
"Want to take a break I need some fresh air?" I asked holding my hand out to Willow with a small smile. At least I'll have her by my side till the very end that I am sure of.With that thought my smile grew brighter & I let Will lead me out to the court yard.

The sun was bright, but it didn't reflect our moods. We sat dejectedly on a marble bench underneath a massive oak tree. My mind was whirling with questions. How can we know what to expect if we have nobody to ask? A voice queried in the back of my mind.
Slowly, another idea dawned on me. It came slower this time, but it began to take shape and I sat up straighter, the over all message clear to me now. "Abby, we have been going about this all wrong." I said suddenly. I turned to face her, my mood brightened.
"We do have someone, or rather some people to ask about this!" I said excitedly. At her confused look, I gestured to her head. "The Fates! Every Oracle has spoken to the Fates in the past. They hold all of our answers! I think you can reach out to them and ask them for help, they can tell us what we need to know. Or at least send us in the right direction. We'll never get anywhere slogging through old books like this." I finished the rest of my soda, before slamming the empty can down and sending it bouncing off into the bushes.
"Abby, can you try and speak to them?" I asked. "If you want, we can go somewhere more private. I understand that you aren't used to this and I don't want you to feel like you're being put on display. I want you completely comfortable with this. Just say the word, this is totally up to you." I sent her a reassuring smile. Inside, I thrummed with excitement. If we can figure out what is happening here, maybe Abby can have a chance to live longer than just twenty five. I thought hopefully. She deserves a longer life than that.

I shook my head over & over I don't want to talk to them & I really don't want to get sick again but Will is right I need to know more then what the book's say. I sighed and nodded my head a small smile on my face. "We can try but lets go to the library I think I would feel more comfortable there." I stood up taking a deep breath [I[if this is what I need to do to find out who I am then this is what I'll do[/I] I thought as we walked back to the library.
"Wash cloth, trash can, herb tea, good look's like we have enough to get me threw this." I sighed a little annoyed by how happy Willow seemed. I don't see you doing this I know you wouldn't be all jumpy & happy if you did. I said with a bit of envy, I new she cared but still this was not fun & I was not going to enjoy it.
Before I new it my arm began to burn & my eyes rolled back into my head as I fell into the land of the Fates. I know you have herd everything we were talking about & everything we have studied & nothing is proven to give us a lot of help so we thought of you is there anything you know about me or anyone who could help us? I pleaded with the women as I sat in front of them looking into their empty eyes. Young seer we were wondering when you would come to us but sadden that it was the fea who figured it out. they said shaking there heads & sobbing. There is no more we can tell you of your self young one but there is one other who maybe able to help you figure out what all it is you need to know, but the journey to the queen does not come easy and you are the only one who can make the journey. I looked at them wide eyed a queen & I am the only one who can see this queen that's hard to believe but I went with it anyway.
Who who is this queen I have to see who I must go see her please Fates I implore you to tell me. I said as if it was life or death which ironically it kinda was. Persephone is the Queen you must see Persephone the high Queen of the underworld She herself is who you must see, must trust us three this journey is not a easy one it will challenge you in more ways then one. We wish you all the luck in the world little seer & hope you come back...all of you that is. Just like that I was thrown out of there world and back to the present the world tipped & I bent over and threw up every once of fluid I had in me.
I looked at Willow after I was down and the world evened out again, her eyes were pained and I new she was worried but she didn't no anything yet. " Underworld they say I have to go to the Underworld to speak to Persephone she is the only one who can tell me anything about this." I said grabbing the wash cloth & whipping the sweat from my face. "Oh but best of all I'm the only one who can make the trip & it may kill me." I shook my head and sighed. Now this should be interesting.

There was a stunned silence after Abby relayed what the Fates told her. I could not understand how Persephone could know what the Fates did not. Either way, journeying to the Underworld is a dangerous endeavor. Especially for Abby, who doesn't know how to navigate herself safely.
"I will go with you." I blurted. "I can navigate the Underworld for you. I can't let you go alone. If anything were to happen to you...." I shook the thoughts out of my head. "The Underworld is a nasty place if you don't know what you're doing. I don't have to be there when you talk to Persephone, but please, let me take you. I can ensure you're safety."
I took Abby's hands in mine and looked her in the eyes. "Please let me do this for you. Please, Abby..."

I looked at Willow as she pleaded to take me to the Underworld & smiled a soft smile at her as i herd the fates in my head, Little Fea can not take this Journey with you only you can little Seer. I new they were going to say that, hate when they call us little though very annoying. I herd the Fates tiskme at that thought & could stop my self from laughing.
"I love you for caring so much Willow but this is my task & my task alone they wont allow you to come with me they say you can not" I brushed her hair with my hand and hugged her tight. " I maybe shy but I'm not weak I can do this I promise so no worries alright." I said pulling back a determined smile on my face.

It had been about couple years since i was cast out of my lords plain (my Gods world) but It seemed to not really bother me as much as I thought it would, The world is peaceful so I guess it will have to do as my new home. I got up and smiled and hoped off the truck the i road into town on I nodded to the driver before making my way to the inner city I made my way up the back road It wasn't the greatest place in the world but it seemed to be full of none humans I could feel it every where so I guess I'm going to have to be careful about this place I will more than likely be targeted by people.

"Then before you leave, let me take you shopping." I pleaded with Abby. "I know of a few stores that cater to the supernatural population. We can get you new clothes, and I can equip you with a few weapons to protect yourself. Nothing too complicated, but enough so you're safer. Please."
I didn't like that she had to go alone, knowing so little of supernaturals. I trawled back into my memory, remembering where the Underworld realm was in relation to the Dark Fae realm. Too close for comfort, was my final decision, further convincing me of equipping Abby with ample weaponry. If a Dark Fae were to get a hold of Abby, I shudder at the thought of the resulting consequences. Her safety is paramount, and if I could join her, I would do so. I would gladly throw myself on a poisoned Dark Fae spear before allowing Abby to by taken by those vile creatures.
I stood up and walked into my closet. At the very back, in a small box, contained several small glass vials full of a dark green liquid. I retrieved one, closed the box, and walked back out to Abby. I took her hand, and placed the vial into it before closing her fingers around it.
"This is a specialized type of poison." I told her. "It cannot kill a human, because it isn't from the human realm. It comes from a flower that only grows in two places. On two mountains, one in the Dark realm and one in our realm. This flower is unique. It only grows at night under the full moon of Samhain. As it withers, the chemical reaction happening in the stem releases this liquid through the thorns. This liquid can kill any supernatural, no matter the breed. Hybrid or otherwise. If you are captured by Dark Fae, drink this. Nothing can bring you back, but your death will be quick and painless. You will simply fall asleep and never wake up. Many older Fae take this when they grow tired of life and no longer fear death." I cupped Abby's face in my hands and looked into her eyes.
"Before you leave, I will give you a charm. This charm has a twin. Both require one drop of your blood. When you leave, you will take one and I will keep the other. If you die, my charm will let me know when your heart stops beating, even if you do not have the charm in your possession at the time of your death. This way I know you haven't been kidnapped. I know it sounds gruesome, but many soldiers had these charms when the went into battle. This way they're loved ones know if they are alive when the battle, or war is over. And that they aren't captured by the enemies. When you return to this realm, it will emit a steady glow, alerting me to your return. Are you okay with this, Abby?"

I looked at Willow with a sweet smile she did care about me so much & I did so wish she could come with me,but the fates were right this was my burden to bare & I had to take this journey on my own even if I hated it. Part of my was scared to death thinking how could a mere mortal do this but I remembered I am not mortal & I know I can do this. I took the vile of poison and stuffed it in my pocket and took the charm wrapped a string around it I tied it to my neck.
" I love you for caring so much & one thing i didn't not tell you is I'm very good with a bow my dad taught me when I was younger. So that is one weapon I know I will be able to use." I smiled my big smile and her & hugged her knowing how scared she was.
"I'm going to be fine don't you worry I will come back & we can spend all the time in the world watching movies & eating junk food." I laughed warping my arm around her's."Now what stores 1st?"

"The nature store. We're getting you outfitted with proper boots and weapons, the kinds that are specially made to kill supernaturals. Then, we're going to human stores so you can have your own clothes here. You should be ready to leave by morning, it would suit you to rest well before you leave. Going to the underworld is a long and tiring journey." I stood up and held my hand out. I sent a silent thanks up to the Goddess that Abby could use a bow.
"Abby, you're in luck." I said with a conspiratorial smile. "As it just so happens, Fae are the best bow makers in any dimension. Furthermore, we have an entire room in our armory dedicated to just about every bow imaginable, from wooden bows to state of the art electronic smart bows, even crossbows. Take which ever one you like, and take whatever bows you want. We have incendiary bow, poison tipped bows, explosive bows, heat seeking bows, and standard bows. Personally, I use all of them, but I know people tend to have their favorites. Come along and you can take your time choosing."

I stood in the big room staring with amazement they were all so amazing I did not know which to choose from. I walked around trailing my fingers along each one trying to find a feel for them. Finally my fingers landed on a Ivory bow it was long & curved just right, the carving brought tears to my eyes books with burned pages slipping from their spines, in amazing golds & emerald greens. It seemed to just speak to me & I new my farther would be thrilled that I had chosen one so amazing as this. Clutching the bow with a death grip I turned my attention to the the center of the room where there were rows & rows of arrows of all sizes I didn't know where to start. Taking to quiver that came with my bow off my shoulder I started with the poison tipped arrows and worked my way down the rows taking one or two of different kind's till my quiver was full.
I put the quiver over my shoulder and smiled brightly this journey may be rough but with this bow "my father's spirit" I named it I will be ready along with all the other stuff Willow will prepare me with Confidence our young seer is gaining, such happiness that brings us. I could hear the fates say in my head & it made my smile winded more.
" Thank you so much for this opportunity Willow I love all this so much & I love you for helping all the more." I walked over to her and hugged her tightly, I stepped back and pulled a neck-less I was wearing from around my neck a small moon with 3 little stares my mother had given me when I was young & placed it around Willow's neck. "This will protect you and guide you to greatness I want you to have it." I smiled & hugged her once more." now where too?" I asked brightly shouldering my bow.

Willow fingered the little silver pendant, at a loss for words. Such a simple gesture had her overwhelmed with emotion. Biting back tears, Willow smiled. "Target practice." She said, grinning wickedly. Leading the way out of the armory, she walked down the hall a short way, turned right, pushed the door open with her hip and gestured Abby in.
They were in a long room, the far side ending in a row of ten targets riddled with bullet, blade and arrow holes. The side they were on was filled similar to the armory. Ammunition for whatever weapon was conveniently and neatly laid out on tables to their left. The wall on their right was floor to ceiling, and about fifteen feet across, filled with weapons of all kinds from dozens of countries and centuries. The wall on the far left identically filled with every type of gun imaginable.
Willow took up a comfortable stance at the back of the room and pointed to a spot where a quiver of arrows waited. "Show me what you can do, She-Legolas." Willow winked at Abby.

I smiled and turned to one of the targets, pulling out one of the normal arrows from the quiver I took a deep breath & fitted the arrow to the bow. I closed my eyes & took a few deep breaths before I let go. I herd the arrow fly by my ear with a gentle wind & it hit dead center. "Ah I did it I didn't know I still could that's so Awesome I wonder.." I took another arrow out fitted and & let go with one smooth breath.
I spun and spun like a tornado in Oklahoma hitting the other arrow splitting it right threw the middle. "HA! I can still do that." I said jumping for joy looking at Willow."Dad was always pissed when I did that he never was able to." I laughed and continued to practice using all the different arrows and laughing as each one hit the center.

Willow smiled as she watched Abby excitedly hit dead center every time. It was the supernatural in her. Her reflexes, problem solving, distance identifying- everything was super human. Her strength and speed, too, undoubtedly.
This gave her a sense of ease, knowing Abby would be safe while she was going to the Underworld. Unless it was an extremely powerful demon attacking, Abby would have no problem dispatching any would be attackers.
Hopefully, Abby would find the answers she was looking for and this whole thing would be figured out. The girl deserved to know her past.

Abby smiled at Willow as they gathered all the normal arrows before leaving she new she would be alright going down there she just new."Want to grab a bite to eat I'm starved, then maybe we can head to some clothing shops and get what else I'll need. Then I better get some rest if I'm to leave tomorrow." Abby said to Willow a little not of nerves growing in her stomach.
Abby finished the last of her chicken salad siting back patting her stomach happily." That was amazing best last meal ever." She laugh then cut her self off when she saw Willows reaction. "Just joking Will I promise I'll be fine really you don't have to worry I promise." Abby squeezed Willows hand gently.

Willow breathed a sigh of relief. Her heart skipped a beat at the sound of those words. Laughing with Abby, they stood up and headed towards the shops in town.
Slowly picking their way through each store, the amount of their wares increased. Willow needed some new clothes, and Abby needed gear. They spent most of the afternoon walking from store to store, and grabbing caffeine in between when they were tired.
It was almost dark when they returned to Willow's rooms. Dumping their things next to the sitting area, they made their way to the kitchen and plopped down, exhausted from shopping. Willow gazed longingly at the refrigerator, too lazy to make anything, but starving.
"I forgot how exhausting shopping is. I'm starved but I can't get up to eat. Why." Willows crossed her arms on the table and her head thumped down on top of them.

Abby laughed at her tired friend she was tired but not half as tired Willow & that was odd, but she shrugged & got up to look for dinner there are a lot of odd going around nowadays."How bout breakfast for dinner I make killer waffles." She smiled pulling out everything she needed & began cooking.
Staring at the last bite on her plate she groaned & willed her self to finish it finally she got the strength & chewed heavily on the small sirup soak waffle. Leaning back she sighed she was so stuffed."I'm going to take a shower & call it a night the fates want me gone by tomorrow I can feel them pushing me to get going guess I should stop procrastinating." She laughed getting up & hugging her friend tightly before going into the bathroom to shower.
Tomorrow she will know tomorrow she will understand but will she like what tomorrow brings?

Willow was still sitting lethargically in the chair when Abby breezed out, drying her hair. "I think I'm going to die." She moaned pathetically. "I have never eaten so many waffles in my life." Willow's head thumped down onto her small dining room table. "But they were so good. I couldn't stop myself. I need a twelve step program. I already have withdrawals. Ugh." Willow belched and let out a groan.
Managing to stand, she shuffled into the sitting area and collapsed on the couch. "About when do you plan on leaving in the morning? If you want, I can accompany you to the tree. It won't be a fantastic going away ceremony, but at least it will be something. You deserve a warrior's departure." Willow smiled warmly at her companion, proud of her for being so brave.

Abby stood by the tree that lead to the underworld shifting her feet back & forth looking down she had no idea what to say to Willow this could be the last time she ever saw her little friend & that scared her a lot. The fates were moaning & crying in her head they wanted her to go but she was trying to postpone as much as she could. But finally the fates wailing began to be to much for Abby and she new she had to go, she threw her arms around her friend and hugged her tight. " I'll be back before you know it." She said stepping back hiding the fact that she had began to cry by stepping threw the tree and into the underworld before Willow could say goodbye.
Abby Looked around she new this place better then she thought this she was certain was the dead lands and the fats were just beyond that hill in the far west with the boiling ocean & the creepy birds circling the tree. She had no need to see the fates she new what they wanted & what they looked like with their long black hair and lifeless eyes she need Persephone the queen of this dead world. She just hoped she didn't have to see her king she was not ready to face Hadies yet.
Heading east she pulled her bow off her shoulder and strung it with a arrow keeping her guard up just in case. She began to think that this was going to be simple & she would be home before no time but she was more then wrong the fates began to scream & wine like they were dieing & the hairs on her neck stood straight. She new Hadies was not pleased she was in his realm. She was just beginning to wonder what was after her then she herd the gut wrenching roar that made goose bumps raise on her arms.
Centaur Centaur Ccccceeeennnnttttaaaar, Run little seer run for the gates of the queens garden there is the only place you will fine safety ruuuun. She heard the fats scream & cry at her & with out looking she ran & ran.
