Willow stood there, staring at the empty space that once was her best friend. She turned and silently made her way back towards the palace. She stood, turning circles in her room, amazed that just two days ago it had been a normal morning for her. Yet in just hours, everything had changed.
Straightening her spine, she decided to resume her work. It was best to distract herself, since there was no way to communicate with Abby. She turned and briskly walked towards Greta's office, ready to report for duty.
While she walked, she felt a moment of panic, realizing that she had not sent Hades a message that there would be a visitor in his realm. He must have known the instant she materialized that there was an uninvited guest. Willow sent a prayer up to the Goddess, asking her to watch over Abby. Her best friend didn't deserve a senseless death.

Abby hid behind a tree breathless, she could hear the beast he was not far behind her but how on earth could she out run the beast she was merely human. That thought stopped her and she stood up straight I am not mortal I am much more & this is my chance to find out what that truly means. She looked from side to side then began to run again Persephone's garden was just beyond that hill she could make it if she used the weapon she was trained so well to use.
Turning back she saw the beast closing in she let a arrow go watching it spin right in to the beasts shoulder slowing him for a few moments just long enough for her to slip over the hill & threw the gates of the queens garden. She sighed & began to walk along the broken path marveling at the beautiful flowers. How can such a place have such beauty the thought leaning down to sniff one of the black & pink roses. They are quit beautiful are they not young seer? Abby heard the queen speak to her softly as she approached. She was beautiful her hair pinned up in a lovely but simple bun with braids wrapped on each side, her blue dress cascaded down with a long train and amazing embroidery around the middle. She smiled brightly at Abby & gestated to a small table in the middle of some amazing tiger lillys. Next to her was her hellhounds huge dobermans with two heads & razor sharp tails.
They will not attack unless commanded by me now sit young seer we have much to discuss and little time my king is far more this time of year then any other time. You see I will be leaving soon for my months on earth & I am much pleased. Her smile broaden but she placed a comforting hand on her whimpering dogs.

Willow went about her duties as usual. It felt strange, like she was filling in for another person's position. It didn't feel like her normal life. Giving up, she retreated to the library. Curling up in one of the armchairs, she opened her book and began to read.
Cold. Darkness. Where am I? Willow thought, bewildered. Slowly, her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting. She was in an unfamiliar room, no longer in the palace. She was laying on a cot in the corner. A small writing desk sat opposite her. The fire in the center pit of the room had died down to embers, explaining the chill in the air. On the far side of the room, there was a heavy wooden door. Standing up, she made her way to the door, grasped the handle and pulled. It swung open noiselessly. Willow shivered, and stepped over the threshold, into a small corridor. She noticed her feet were bare, and she was no longer in the clothes she was wearing at the palace. Instead, she was in a sleeveless, white, cotton shift that reached her ankles. Her hair fell loose around her narrow shoulders in waves. Huh. Strange. She thought. On a whim, she hung a right out of the room and started down the corridor. The torches were dim, and it was eerily empty. Despite the carpet running down the center of the corridor, Willow stayed close to the wall, one hand trailing next to her on the cold stones.
She came to an intersection. Looking around, she decided to turn left this time. Again, she stayed close to the walls, making sure to check behind her often. Willow noticed it was deathly silent, save for the sound of her frozen feet padding on the stones beneath her. Her breath was coming out in tiny clouds of steam. The temperature seemed to be dropping fast. Suddenly, a noise made Willow's head jerk in surprise. It wasn't a loud noise, but in the silence it sounded deafening. She heard it again. A scraping sound, like something was being dragged across the stone floor. Willow came to an uncertain stop, trying to pinpoint the odd noise. She was coming up to another intersection again, but this time, she hesitated in drawing nearer.
Out of nowhere, a creature turned the corner, heading straight towards Willow. For one long second, she stood there in shock. Willow noticed the scraping noise was the spiked tail behind the creature. Turning, Willow darted the way she had come. Somehow, she knew that if she made it back to her room, she would be safe. The creature picked up it's pace, and the scraping sound turned into a sickening grinding noise. It roared and began to chase Willow. Running hard, she noticed the intersection was up ahead. She drew closer and prepared to take the turn as narrowly as possible. If the creature clipped the wall turning, it would knock it off balance and give her more time to make it to her room. Using her toes to grip the carpeting, Willow launched herself diagonally, barely missing the corner of the wall as she completed her turn in mid air. She landed, already running, using her momentum to propel her forward. There! Willow could see her room, but it seemed painfully far away. She could feel the creature gaining on her and she pushed harder. For some reason, Willow took her eyes off the open door of her room and she glanced at one of the portraits on the wall. A crowned woman, sitting in a throne type chair. The next painting was similar, except the woman was different. And the next, and the next. Willow remembered the promise she made to Abby, to never go down a hall of queens, and a sense of dread filled her. Willow felt, rather than saw, the creature raise its claws and begin strike at her. She braced herself for the painful blow, knowing it would shred her back and launch her into a wall. Down, down down the claws came, getting closer to her back. Any second now. Willow thought. She closed her eyes and took a breath just as the claws sliced through the cotton shift-
Willow jerked awake, drenched in cold sweat. Just a dream. She comforted herself with the thought, but the fear still lingered. She could taste its sourness in the back of her throat. She went to sat up and cried out in pain. Willow felt her back and winced as her hand came away coated in glossy scarlet. The world swam in her eyes, and the ground rushed up to meet her. She put her hand out and caught herself in time. She stayed knelt on the ground, half crouched and looked at her hand again. It was clean. She touched her back again and felt smooth skin. No blood. No injuries. Instead, her shirt was torn where the claws should have gotten her. Vaguely, she was aware of the dull, throbbing pain in ribbons along her back, precisely matching up with the tears. It was as if the surface of her skin healed, but underneath was still tender. Shakily, Willow stood up, thoroughly frightened. Her face was wet from tears, but she didn't remember crying. Willow limped back into her room and collapsed onto the bed.
Only then did she allow herself to truly cry. Great, gasping sobs wracked her body as the pain slowly subsided. Deep down, she knew this was a warning. But from who? She thought. Willow dried her tears, and lay on her bad, dazed and exhausted, but terrified to sleep. She wasn't sure how long she lie like that, but eventually she dozed into a fitful sleep filled with long, frozen corridors, creatures with spiked tails, and terror. There was always the terror. She couldn't shake it.

Abby looked at Persephone in shock she couldn't believe what the queen was say it could not be true could not be real what Willow said seemed more real then what the queen was saying it had to be she took a shaky sip of her now cold tea & tried to speak to the queen again. "Child of the Fates is impossible there never has been any knowledge of a child being born of the three fates it's just not possible." Abby stood up quickly shaking her head from side to side passing quickly. The Hellhound lifted there heads & growled deeply at her." I'm sorry I just don't understand Willow said I was fea is that not more possible?" She asked sadly knowing that was not so. "Why couldn't the Fates tell me this them selves why bring me to this decant place & have you of all people tell me & if I am their child what do you call me then.?" Abby said her anger building as she ripped a rose to pieces.
Persephone took a long soothing breath & looked up at Abby with a sad smile. " My dear child I know this is much to take in & it is yes uncommon for the fates to have children actually you are the 1st born since the beginning of time you were born from no father & three mothers the most powerful women in all the realms it is a sign that something is coming & you are the chosen one to stop this evil from coming forth or stopping it at all coasts that is why you are gifted with sight so you may see what is to come & how you may stop .The Fates are forbidden to talk to you they sent you to your mother & father the moment you came to them they can only speak to you in your visions or in your head. If you try to see them Hades will throw you from here so fast your head will spin." The queen chuckles a little & then continued on. They will guide you & protect you the best they can & help you control you sickness after your visions. Don't get us wrong your parents are your parents & yes they are fea origin they Fates just brought you in to being. " The queen said with a small smile as she took a sip of her tea & patted the hellhound she called Loki.
" May I ask a question." Abby said after a long pause her head was reeling it was making her stomach sick. The queen nodded her head slowly. " Why did my parents abandon me I could be talking to them now & not bothering you with these questions & you wouldn't have to explain my lineage." The queen nodded & smiled sadly I do not mind telling you all this child there is one thing I did not tell you before I was cast here to be queen of this realm the Fates made me your protector or as humans call it your Godparent, & as for your parents your farther was called on business & before he got there he was murdered by dark fea & your mother was with child so she left to protect you & died in child birth & the child was taken and destroyed before he was a day old." The queen said sadly a tear slipping down her face.
PERSEPHONE! COME AT ONCE Hades hollered from a tall tower his voice made Abby quiver she never wanted to meet the King of the underworld ever.PERSEPHONE! he yelled again." [Go now child back to the fea realm before he begins looking for me go go I will be in touch once I go above once more." She said urgently grabbing Abby's hand
pulling her up and pushing her toured the gate. PERSEPHONE! She heard Hades call again as she ran to the tree she came threw them moment she was there she jumped threw & was in the fea realm before she could blink.
" Willow Willow I have so much to tell you." She said swinging the door to her room open quickly. All the words fell from her head the moment she saw Willow's tear soaked cheeks she ran over to her friend wrapping her arms tightly around her stroking her rainbow hair gently." Tell me all about it hon I'm here for you." She said softly & continued stroking her hair softly.

Willow was startled when her bedroom door flew open, and found an excited, breathless Abby standing there. She let out a small cry when her friend embraced her.
"T-the v-vision where I-I... d-d-died." Willow stuttered. "I d-dreamed it. And when I woke up I was bleeding, b-but there was no injury and the blood is gone now." She pushed herself up into a sitting position, took a steadying breath and dried her tears.
"I have never had a nightmare before. That's why I'm so shaken up." Willow said, her voice stronger now. "I think it was a warning. Not a threat. I think the Fates were trying to warn me. I'm not sure how I get to where ever I was in the dream vision, but somehow I can't go there. If I do I'll be killed." She looked at Abby and hugged her friend, thankful for her safe arrival.
"You said you had news. What did Persephone tell you? Do we know more?" Willow looked hopeful. She didn't want her friend to die an early death. It wouldn't be right, or fair.

" Swear to the Gods I will keep a watchful eye on you. Asking the fates everyday for guidance & protection for you." Abby smiled then sat up straight & took a long breath & began." Okay short version is went down almost got killed by a monster Persephone's garden is beautiful but her dogs are creepy. I'm her godchild the fates are my birth mothers my dad was murdered & mom died giving birth to a son that was killed to ." With that Abby stopped wiping a tear away she signed and began again." Cant ever truly see the Fates or something bad will happen Persephone will be here in less then a week to teach me to control my visions & when I do I have to figure out what the big threat is why I was created in the first place & If i do and stop it in time I wont die ever I will be granted immortality."
Abby breathed out a heavy breath walking into the kitchen to get a snack letting her little friend to take in all she just said. the thought made her laugh a little. It was good to be home & yes this place was starting to become home to her. She was the fates smile brightly at her in her minds eye & she smiled back broadly at them,I will make you proud." She said strongly. We have no doubt daughter they said then dispersed from her minds eye.

"So, basically you're the child of three women and no father." Willow said, shrugging. "I have seen stranger things happen, so I don't doubt it. After all, Aphrodite was created when Cronus castrated Uranus and tossed his nuggars into the sea. She didn't have a mother, so I don't see how it would be impossible for you to be created without a father."
Willow stood up, noticing her back still ached. She padded across the room and into the sitting area, where she helped herself to some Frosted Flakes. Maybe the sugar would help get her out of this funk. Following that line of thought, Willow raided her pantries and spread all of her junk food out on the table. She gestured to the seat opposite of her and said, "Help yourself. I think we deserve a good sugar feast, do you think?" She sat down and committed herself to enthusiastically eating one of everything on her table. Willow chugged a whole soda before continuing eating. Ohhh man was she in heaven.
At one point, Willow gave a cheesy smile, her cheeks bulging with sweet bread, to the dumbfounded Abby staring at her. "'S rearly vewwy tasty, Abbely." She said cheerily. "Om nom nom nommm."
