Ronan got a hurt look as his outstretched hand turned into a fist as he pulled back towards himself, patting Silas on the shoulder as he walked slowly forward next to Lexus. "Because i want to get to know you better....away from others. Is it a crime?" he asked him somberly as he looked towards the woods, letting his thoughts wander as they continued into the woods, Silas keeping track of their companion.

He did not know when they had stopped, but when they had, he was still lost in thought before he slipped from Silas' back, looking at the male he had just met, thinking for a few minutes before he walked over towards him, looking him over before staring him in the eyes. "Lexus, tell me.....about your self please." he said to him, already having seen that he was into the electric guardians, where as he just handled the ones that he was given.

He looked around for a few moments, feeling like someone was watching them, though he just shrugged it off as he scratched Silas' ear once more, digging his toe into the hard ground. He had no clue what he was doing, he hadn't come for the training, just for the younger male, to make a new friend, though at the moment it seemed like it was going to be impossible for them to become friends after all.

Anastasia looked at him when he turned to her and spoke and watched as he rubbed his talons together, she smiled when he finished speaking and said “Yep, just gathering a few things then I’m heading out.” She looked up at him and said “I hope your right about it being more beautiful out there.” She felt like he didn’t really want to talk to her and she guessed that is why everyone else in the shop was wary about him, assuming that they had all seen him before.

When the shop keeper brought out the fur bag Anastasia looked at it in amazement, the craft man ship that must have got into it was outstanding. But when the guy pulled out the egg that was within it she was even more amazed. The guy had bought what appeared to be black abyss, as it was a dark black and it was glossy and reflected back the light that was shining on it. She had never seen an egg like that before or let alone any egg outside of Tangea’s.

Anastasia saw the smile that the man had on his face when he saw the egg and smiled at him saying “That egg looks amazing, I’m sure that what it contains will be an equally amazing guardian.” She saw that he had taken the fur bag and was getting ready to go. Anastasia looked outside and saw that time was getting on and decided to quit waiting for the man to finish looking at his new egg and pulled out enough money for the things that she had taken and put it on the counter and said to the man behind it “Your store really is helpful, thank you and you can keep the extra’’.

Anastasia smiled at him and looked at the guy holding the egg and said “Goodluck to you, and I hope your new guardian turns out to be amazing.” She waved at them both and then headed out the shop doors. Her next stop would be to check out at what they called the broader. She walked over to where she had to check out and stood in the line, it appeared to be that a lot of people were leaving today. But that didn’t stop her from wanting to get out and get training for the tournament she was heading to.

Lexus looked around the area that they had stopped at. It was shady, and deep in the forest, a good place to find guardians. He wondered what type they would see today. He turned hearing the footsteps of his companion approaching him. When he asked him to tell him about himself, a bit of wariness bubbled up inside him. What could this guy want to know? He thought about his family history, and once again about his father. He couldn't verywell tell him about the important details. no, one of the things about being a Ravine, was that there were plenty of secrets and things you could never tell anyone. He didn't want to put his father or the other members of his father's group at risk, it was better to play the question off casually for now.

He turned away from him, making his way around the clearing to scan for any signs of guardians. His father had taught him to always be prepared, and know what to look for. "What would you like to know? There isn't much interesting about me though, I must warn you about that" he spoke as he looked. He examined trees, and then the leaves on the ground and the dirt. He paused near a bush, parting the leaves to see a guardian eatting berries. He watched it as he waited for an answer for his own question, studying the moves of the guardian and how it interacted with the area. It seemed to be a bit slow, the large front paws making it a bit harder to manuver around. Most likely it was a power guardian, not the best at speed, but getting hit by one of those claws was not a good idea. Speed and agility would be the best course for this battle.


The girl seemed to be amazed by the egg that Raven was given, he didn't blame her, it was going to be powerful if he raised it right. He watched as she finished buying her things, then moved to go. He nodded looking at her as she went. He thought about what his next move was, he needed to get to the docks, there he would take an air guardian down to the lower areas. He was a bit glad to get off of this rock, not many could get up here, but those who did only seemed to mess up the beauty of it all and look at the people like they were freaks. He knew he was probrably jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire so to speak, but he could not sit around and wait for his life to take off. He had to get up and take charge himself. He stepped out of the shop and into the sunlight, he walked over to his bike and slipped into the seat.

It was a nice trip, people out and about, it wasn't anything knew that even now he obtained glances from them. He wondered what some of them thought when they saw him, but then again the thoughts may only set to anger him. His talons tightened around the handlebars and he shook his head. What was he thinking? Letting them get into his head now would only get him into trouble. He was fine with relying on himself, and so far was undefeated. He had to be doing something right. He smiled, stopping at the docks. It was busy today, people getting ready to leave. He moved to the window near the gates, and talked to the man, telling him what he needed. His bike was taked to be put in a crate to be carried down by the guardian. He paid for his ticket, walking towards the dock he was going to be departing on.

When Anastasia and made sure that they knew she was leaving the island she smiled and turned back. She whistle for Tangea and watched as she hovered up and over the shop before stopping close to Anastasia. She jumped up and grabbed onto her wing and climbed back onto her back, checking that everything was still there she hovered over towards she docks and watched how some people bought tickets to use guardians to get down. She was glad that she had Tangea, it helped her realise that she had the freedom to go anywhere without paying for it now. She walked along Tangea’s back and slid down to look into one of her eyes and smiled saying “Alright Tangea, last chance for practicing, we are going to work on your speed and concentration.” She climbed back up and said “Let’s go just off the island so that there are only clouds beneath us.”

They hovered just over the docks and Anastasia smiled seeing how all the people were getting ready to get out. Once out over the clouds Anastasia went back to the bags and grabbed a few apples out of them and carried them back ad stood on top of Tangea’s head. She then yelled out to Tangea “Alright now, Catch the apple’s Tangea and you can eat them.”

She smiled and stood into the wind so that it would blow her green hair back out of her face and narrowed her amber eyes out into the sky and whipped the first apple out in front of Tangea. As Tangea quickly sped up when she saw the apple Anastasia stood still and kept her balance. To her it was the easiest thing to do after practicing it for so long. She watched as Tangea gained on the apple and opened her mouth and ate the apple whole. Anastasia cheered and said “Alright, that was great now, two apples!”

This continued on until Anastasia had thrown about fifteen apples and she slid back down Tangea’s face to one eye and said “Alright, so we are done with apples now and I believe that you have gotten faster, and for that when we get to our first destination you can have the rest of the apples we haven’t used for training.” She smiled then climbed back and yelled “Alright, now Tangea! Catch me!” She ran from where she was standing to Tangea’s side and jumped out into the sky and started falling. She had never done this with Tangea before but trusted her enough to catch her. She stared up at the sky and watched as Tangea quickly reacted to get around and started heading to catch her.

Tyr followed the two men from a good following distance. It wasn't that he wanted to pick them off in particularly, he didn't know how strong either of them were, but since he'd beaten so many of the surgers in the area no one wanted to battle him anymore. He was undefeated since he'd started this and a big reason for that was how strong Thane was. His psychic abilities were amazing, even to Tyr. He was lucky to have bonded to him when they were young. The two of them had grown together and now they were reaping the rewards of their hard work and training.

Silently he stalked the two of them until they reached the clearing where they saw a large grizzly looking guardian then realized that maybe it would be best to watch and see how they would handle the wild guardian before trying to one of them on. "Shayd," he whispered and the guardian appeared from its capsule. The guardian was about to growl before Tyr placed a hand on its muzzle to calm him, "Shhh. It's okay. We're just watching." And without being beckoned Thane appeared from his capsule behind his master. The eighteen year old looked back and immediately knew what the guardian would say if it could talk. He gave a simple nod as the three of them sat back behind some shrubs watching carefully.

Haru Krieos

The male sat on the branch of a tree in the forest. He was watching a man who was watching two other guys. He found it slightly ammusing, seemed this guy had plans to challenge the two he was watching. They didn't look like much of a threat, but then again he didn't know them, so it wasn't fair to judge. Skull floated by his side, the guardian looking down at the people below them with intrest. Skull was a playfull guardian, he liked to play jokes on people, and right now Haru was thinking of a good joke. He nodded to Skull, and the little guardian turned invisible. He floated down to a tree above the blond haired male's head, going into one of the large fruits that hung from the tree. It wiggled lightly, but stayed there for now waiting for the male to move within range.

Haru smiled, watching the fruit wiggle. He placed a hand over his mouth to keep himself from laughing and getting caught. He wondered if the male watching would notice the wiggling fruit, and if he did, would he say anything. His eyes drifted to the second capsul on his wrist containing Maggie. He could let her out to have some fun to, but for now Skull was his best option, and he did not want to cause to much of a problem. HAru was playful and a jokester, but he knew when it was crossing the line and when to stop. He would not hurt anyone, but a squishy fruit couldn't hurt the guy, only get him covered in juice. That would make for a real good laugh indeed. He smiled, leaning back against the tree trunk to wait.

Ronan cocked his head to the side as he stood there, watching silently just like his guardian, whom cocked his head at the exact same moment, in the exact same way as Ronan, it was like they were one and the same, except they weren't, not in the very less, they were just that close. A few minutes passed by before he yawned, watching as Lexus searched the bushes, he on the other hand looked towards the tree tops, after all he wanted a flying guardian, which would make traveling so much easier for him.

"Just stuff like your favorite color. Why you chose electric guardians, or if you have siblings, or if you like to read, even your age. Just little things is all." he shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal, but it was a big deal to him, after all Lexus would be the first person he would have actually tried to make a friend and connect with after his twin had perished. Moving over to see what the male had found, watching the guardian for a few moments before he put his lips near Lexus' ear.

"Speed right....though I think Laila could take it. She specializes in stealth and wits. The think doesn't look to smart, what i considered a muscle head, likes brute strength and lacks in other areas." he mumbled into his ear, pushing his glasses up his nose as he looked it over, patting Silas before he disappeared back into his capsul. Waiting to see what Lexus was going to do or say, staying close to his back, his lips still near the younger male's ear as he watched the creature, a calculating look upon his face.

Luka ended up following Gill. She knew the other could handle himself, but she just liked making sure of it. She had put Lady back in her capsule and was now following the other. She stayed kind of back away from the other, but she knew he would easily see her if he turned around. Luka also was there to make sure that he would get to his meetings at the right time.


Rinzer paid and slowly got up, his belly nice and full. He looked at Snow, whom looked equally as happy. Rinzer smiled as he walked out of the diner and out into the sun. He wondered what he and Snow was going to do. He just ended up walking around like a lost puppy.

Lexus looked up at the other male as he spoke in his ear. He sighed lightly after a moment, and then looked back at the guardian they were watching. Why did the guy want to know things like that about him? No one really ever seemed interested in the simpler things, but he guessed if the guy had asked, he should answer. "I am sixteen, I like orange, no siblings at all, and I choose electric because of where I'm from. I take after my father" he stood "now then, we shouldn't keep messing around with talking for the moment, there will be plenty of time for that. Right now, lets get some training in ok?" He smiled, holding up his wrist. One of the capsuls began to glow, and in a flash of yellow light Leo stood before the two. The bear like guardian saw the flash of light, turning its lumbering form slowly in their direction. It gave a loud roar, and pawed at the ground in a challenging manner. Lexus was ready, he figured if the fight was going to happen, he shouldn't sneak around. His father wouldn't, no, his father would face any challenge head on and so would he. Leo growled, jumping in front of Lexus, sparks began to move through its fur as the breeze swept around them. He was powered up and ready to go just as much as Lexus was. He smiled "alright, lets get this show on the road."


Cronos

He walked along the side streets, taking his time, and staying out of site of the people who were around the town. He headed towards the ruins they had been watching from the window. It was a beautiful day, but he paid no mind to it at all, his only concern was getting to the ruins. He slid his hands deeper into his pockets, knowing that the female was following her. He made no move against it, it was her choice. She may come in handy after all, so he allowed her to keep following. He finally reached the entrance to one set of the ruins, and casually walked right inside. He headed along, his footsteps echoing along on the stone flooring. He could hear the sounds of a few guardians around, but once more ignored their every movement. He had no intrest in them right now, not when he was so close. He headed down farther into the caverns, not stopping to allow the female to catch up. He would soon lose her if she didn't however.



Haru watched the two as the guardian turned to them. They were bold, he liked that. A smile played on his lips, as he watched them. He hopped down out of the tree without a sound, and moved to the side of the man who was watching them. "Nice view isn't it" he whispered, before covering his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt. HE looked over at the man, wondering if he would get mad, or if he would be caught off guard by Haru's sudden appearance. Either way, this was turning out to be an eventful day, and he was having loads of fun. He wanted in on the action to, but knew he had to be patient. Rushing into things only led to problems and he knew that. He glanced back up at the wiggling fruit above the blond haired male's head, wondering when he sould drop it. He would wait until the battle was done, it would be a nice victory for the male, or a nice little losing present. HE stifled another laugh, waiting to see what would happen next.

Tyr sat back watching the two boys debate over the tactics that should be used to take down the guardian when he got a tap from Thane. He looked to his side and blonde surger could feel Shayd getting anxious as it sniffed the air. "What's the matter boy?"

The guardian turned around and just as he turned a voice chimed up from beside him. Tyr looked up halfway surprised that he hadn't heard the guy's approach but he didn't jump. Staring at the guy for a moment he was blank faced before replying to him in a whisper, "Looks like it'll be entertaining." Shayd was trembling again because he didn't recognize the stranger and Tyr gave him a few pats to calm him down. "So nice of you to join me out of thin air. Have you been following me?" It would make an interesting story if the boy had been. He was being tailed while tailing someone.

He looked back towards the two boys as the fight seemed to be about to commence. This was what he wanted to see. Then a thought occurred to him. Glancing at the male's wrist beside him he noticed that he was surger. 'Maybe I'll play with you instead,' he thought in a moment of silence.

Luka kept the same distance for a while She got caught behind some men but saw his boss go to the ruins. Her eyebrows furrowed as he pushed through them like they were nothing. She grabbed Pleasure's capsule and held it tight in her hand. She caught up, well she had him in sights as he went down. She frowned as she followed him. Upon hearing the other guardians around she let Pleasure out. "Stay close but out of sight." she said quickly as she walked further down. Pleasure hissed and seemed to fade slightly as he drifted forward a head of her. She looked at her watch. They had some time.

Haru giggled, and laid back on the grass looking up at the wiggling fruit above the blond males head. He had no idea it was there. He looked over finally as the male he was now beside began to speak to him. "Me...follow?" he giggled again, "I go where I want and do as I please, you just happened to intrest me so here I am." He rolled over onto his stomach and looked at his guardian. "A surger you are as well correct? May be interesting to see where this goes indeed" he was having fun, watching to see what would happen, and now he could talk to this guy as well. He wondered if he would attack, if he did then it would be up to Maggie to make a little entrance of her own. No worries though, he knew he could handle whatever came his way, even if it employed a little creative thinking on his part. It was a big game at the moment, just something to pass the time until he was able to get over to the Battle City tournament.

This guy was weird. He seemed a little off and too carefree. And the more he thought about it, the more he realized something was off with him but it was whatever. So long as he didn't do anything to anger him, he might leave him be. It had been so long since Tyr had been in a good surge battle that he was almost willing to just attack someone at random, but that was still a little further than he was willing to go. He was no bandit. Aggressive, but not overly so.

Turning around to watch the other boy with mild interest as he rolled around in the grass beside him he listened to him as he answered his question. "So what about me is interesting to you?" It was odd to hear that someone was interested in him. To be honest it was inaccurate to say that he was interested in those boys about to fight that guardian. He was merely studying them. He only wanted to battle them and nothing more.

"Yes I'm a surger, but you know this since both of my guardians are sitting right here in front of you," he answered in a calm but guarded tone. 'Why ask if I'm a surger when you see my guardians?' It was true that some people didn't do battles with guardians but if he'd been watching him for a while then he probably already had an idea of what he was up to. This guy was weird but something told him that he was also a little more together than he acted. "What's your name?" Tyr asked nonchalantly.

"My name is Haru" he says finally sitting up once more. He held out a sleeved hand to the male, though he doubted he would take it. His head tilted to the side as he looked at him. This was turning into quite the day, all he had been told to do was gather information and have a look around and now he had found a few new friends to play with. He wondered if this guy would battle him, he wanted to know how strong he was. He wasn't interested in finding a victor persay, and judging by his guardians the two would be relatively evenly matched in battle. Psychic types weak against ghosts and ghosts weak against darks it was a delicious turn of events if he did say so. He was interested in seeing just how much this guy knew. Then again, Haru did not plan to stay where he was long, information was his game, but those who wanted it right now were beginning to bore him. He wanted excitement, adventure. He wanted to get out there and see the world, maybe this guy would proove capable enough to get him there. If he proved his worth, Haru would stay by his side, if not...then Haru would have no intrest in him anymore.

Tyr regarded the sleeved hand harshly for a moment before smirking slightly and taking it into his own strong grip, "I'm Valtyr." Turning their hands while they were still locked together so he could look at the band on his wrist more closely he nodded in approval, "So you only have two ghost type guardians?" Nice. He'd been thinking about the next guardian that he might go after and he couldn't decide between a fire or a ghost type. Maybe a battle with him would help sway his mind.

Releasing his hand and finally standing to his feet, Tyr placed his hands on his hip, "Lets battle," he openly demanded. Well, more like requested aggressively. He wouldn't do anything that would get him arrested but he was definitely itching for a fight. He needed to get some real-life training in against actual surgers versus fighting wild guardians whom were rarely a challenge for him. To make things more interesting he decided to up the stakes, "I'll even fight you with Thane here. No doubt your guardians would have the advantage. What do you say?"

It wasn't that the blonde surger was feeling cocky, he just liked to push his limits. He doubted that Haru would see this as anything other than a pure form of disrespect, as if he was saying he could beat his guardians with just Thane but Tyr didn't care. The best thing about being a surger was that you could put yourself in the most strenuous situations and still manage to come out stronger than you were. That was greatest thing about it. It was hard for him to contain his smile when he thought about it.

Haru giggled again, covering his mouth with his sleeve. In a flash, he had jumpped back to leave a space between the two of them. "Your on big boy, this should be fun" he smiled, and held out his wrist. A puff of dark violet smoke gave way to his second guardian Maggie. People said that the guardian had the appearance of a witch, and she happily floated over to hover next to his shoulder. She gave a noise which sounded a bit like laugher, and her eyes moved to the man who was soon to be Haru's opponant. This would be fun indeed. He could feel the excitement coming from her, the intrest to see what she could do against a psychic type was to good of an opportunity to pass up.

Haru wasn't to big on types, there were their advantages, but it was more fun to rely on the guardian's strength as well as their bond and the strength of the Surger's heart. Even the weakest guardian could be the toughest battler if put in the right situation. He would have fun testing himself, and seeing where things would lead. His eyes never left the other male, his mind carefully calculating him over, taking in his posture and that of his guardian, as well as their appearance. You could learn a lot about a person by watching them, and Haru had done just that. This man was a guy of power, of brute strength, but not in the way that he would carelessly fling it around, no, he knew better then that, that much was for sure. The question would be, could he keep up with Haru, before time ran out?....

Tyr grinned devilishly as he propped his left hand on his hip. He sat back in silence looking over Haru and his guardian as it appeared. The one thing he didn't do was judge a guardian by its looks. It appeared that it was witch-like; not all that surprising considering that it was a ghost type. Looking to his right at Thane, he gave the guardian the go ahead and it walked forward into the space provided between them. Thane made eye contact with Haru first and then his guardian as it prepared for battle. It was a confident guardian, and chose to fold its arms across its chest with a slight smirk that seemed to match its master's. After a few moments Valtyr decided he'd take the initiative, "Thane phantom surge!" The guardian eyes began to glow an eerie purple as it sent mental waves of psychic energy at the ghost. The smirk on both of their faces was gone, it was time to get serious.

Haru watched as the other guardian took advantage of the first move. A psychic attack eh? He smiled and raised a sleeved hand. Maggie moved forward head on into the waves, flinching as they began to hit. He giggled, then spoke merely two words "shadow sneak." Maggie smiled, and in a blur disappeared from the area. Haru merely smiled, folding his arms over his chest. This move was a good one when it came to confusing and sneaking up on an opponent. Maggie would move through the shadows to get close and atttack, when it would however was a surprise all its own. He watched to see, interested to see how his competitor would deal with his little move. He was merely toying around at the moment, testing the waters and in a way baiting. He was no fool when it came to surging, and ghost types wern't his specialty for nothing.

Tyr smiled and watched as the guardian walked headlong into the psychic waves that were pulsing towards him. He knew that the attacks wouldn't be all that effective but that reaction wasn't what he'd expected from the loose carefree boy act he'd seen earlier. It was exhilarating to see that from someone else. Then the ghostly guardian disappeared after Haru said shadow sneak. Tyr's eyes narrowed as the two of them checked the area. "Dominion," he called to Thane. It was an attack that magnified Thane's presence over an area to cause fear to the point of paralysis. Thane's eye again began to glow that same eerie shade of purple as his figure looked as if it grew more monstrous and menacing. If he couldn't see his opponent, then he'd make it reveal itself and then attack. He sat back to see if the technique would work. His eyes went to Haru to see how he'd react.

Haru was enjoying himself, and he could feel from Maggie that she was as well. He pondered the next move then an idea dawned on him. He had a bit of an idea, but he had to play along for now. Maggie had moved in close, her eyes looking up through the shadows at her opponent. She froze for a moment unsure of what to do at the large form awaiting as she surfaced. Haru smiled "my my, not every day miss Maggie hesitates, I must commend you" he giggled, giving a mock bow to his opponent. He wondered what his new friend would do with this little opportunity of his, and if he would sense what would be laying in wait if he did. Maggie closed her eyes, shaking her head to ward off the effects.

Thane noticed the presence hiding within his shadow which alerted Tyr to the location of his opponent. Thane held the menacing glare while Tyr took this moment to formulate his next few steps. He ignored Haru's taunts at him, no matter what he did this battle was going to be rough on Thane which was exactly what he wanted. He needed him to be strong enough to overcome his weaknesses. "Vortex Beam," he calmly stated. Thane extended his three fingered hand at Maggie as the energy began to gather in a bright ball of energy in front of his hand. Tyr knew how destructive this attack was, the question was would Haru know how to deal with it?

Haru smiled, pulling his arms close to him. "Destiny bond" he said with s smile. Maggie opened her eyes, andd a blue glow formed in them. She surfaced out of the shadows as a blue mark appeared in the crystal at her neck. A beam of light shot out over to Thane, and soon the same mark formed over the guardian's heart. Haru smiled, a nice little technique he wondered if his opponent knew about. If he did, would he risk his own guardian fainting to with this attack. It didn't matter, either way his little trick had worked if Maggie lost so would his opponent which ment this battle was a tie. He covered his mouth with one of his sleeved hands, waiting to see what the male would do. Would he finish the attack, would he stop it, would he give up, or would he keep fighting? If he chose to keep fighting, Maggie had a bit of a back up plan to help along with that. "Your move" he said conceiling his smile.

"Destiny Bond huh?" Valtyr smirked. He looked at Thane who was almost done charging the attack then back at Haru. "Stop Thane," he commanded. The guardian looked up at him saying that he wanted to continue. The blonde surger shook his head, "That's enough." They'd tie if Thane had released that attack, assuming Haru didn't have something else up his sleeve. Looking at Haru, Tyr smiled, "I'm impressed. You're good. Really good actually. It was a good battle." He returned Shayd to his capsule first and then went and placed a hand on Thane's shoulder, "You did great." The two of them exchanged a nod before a flash of light engulfed the guardian as it returned to its capsule. "We'll have to finish this battle one day, but I think with thing ending this way I'll go ahead and head back to town. I need to sign up for the next tournament anyway. Good luck in your travels Haru."

Haru tilted his head, and looked over at Maggie. She smiled, and floated back over to him having an idea what was on his mind. He giggles "that settles it." He turns to the man he had just battled and smiles "we'll come with you." He gives another slight mock bow and called both Maggie and Skull back to their capsuls. "Haru Krieos at your service, information and adventure is my game" he laughed, walking ahead of the male towards the town. "If your looking to enter the tournament, you'll need to catch yourself a riding guardian first, since the first portion is a race" he says without turning back. "Luckily for you, I know just where to find the perfect ones" he smiled, happy to find some way to get out more and see the world. This guy would be fun to travel with, and even if he said no, there was no stopping Haru from following him. He was interested in him, and figured if anyone was going to show him a good time, it would be the guy he had just had a good battle with. He smiled, this was turning into a good day after all.

Ronan took in what he was saying about him self, nodding at his answers, feeling relieved that he had guessed his age correctly, chuckling a little bit as he watched him to call upon one of his guardians to battle the one they had found.
