Reseda stepped into the bar for the second time that night, but with a warier eye then previously. Now seedy characters seemed to fill the place, though it was certainly a trick of the mind. Music boomed through the area, mingling with the sounds of voices trying to lift above the notes, but not quite managing to do so. The witch wanted nothing more then to join in, as a way to escape the situation she'd thrown herself into unwittingly.

As her brown eyes continued to travel over the room, she potted a familiar shock of pink hair, not to mention more feline features as well. Before her next actions could be thought through fully, Reseda began to walk across the room to the guarded door. She stopped, turning away to look questioningly at the two she'd left behind. It didn't cross her mind to marvel at the spell the winged neko had used to change her appearance. Such things weren't so very unusual to her.

Michael had been standing still as stone, listening and feeling the establishment when Reseda moved inside. He watched her for a moment. He'd heard many voices, at least thirty. They were all in the immediate area, but there were about ten others, farther behind, perhaps in another room. He was too far away and there was too much interference to determine if any of the voices were the notorious Gregori Dolzhikov.

None of the voices or conversations he'd picked up on were those of friendly people. He'd also picked up on the voice of the neko. So he'd run here after all. All common logic sent red flags up in Michael's mind now. Before stepping inside Michael's icy eyes met Kala's. "I did not say I was going to kill anyone. Gregori is no current threat to me. I simply need him, for other reasons." The look in his eye warned the woman. He would not currently kill Gregori, nor would he let anyone else. Not until he got what he came here for.

Michael stepped inside. Immediately he spotted Reseda. She was walking towards the neko and another female. He followed.

~~~*~~~*~~~
"Asking questions?" she repeated. Everyone around here knew to never ask questions. Still, Syd couldn't let him in. And, she also didn't want to be the bearer of troubling news. She was torn. Let the neko in and be in trouble for that, or be the receiving end of anger. Well, maybe he'd just be thankful and that would be that. Syd didn't want to chance it. Around here chancing it was a stupid thing to do.
"Look, I'll be in a lot of trouble if I let you in there, and I don't want to give that creepy dude the bad news, so you just go on about your business and we'll pretend none of this happened, okay?" As if that was a good idea. If Gregori found out that she or anyone else withheld information like that from him, they were as good as dead. It seemed being in any situation with Gregori would leave you as good as dead, no matter which side you were on.
Another person moving towards them caught Syd's eye, a woman. Behind her a red haired man approached. They didn't look like too much trouble. Were they the trouble the neko spoke of? They couldn't be. They must be trying to use a private room. "These rooms are closed for the night," she said to them dismissively.
By that time Michael was standing just in front of Syd, still as stone once more, icy eyes assessing her. Finally he pulled out the photo and opened it. "I am looking for this man," he said, "Have you seen him?" Syd's green eyes looked to the neko, then to the red haired man. "Nope," she lied, "never seen him before."
Michael had picked up on the spike in her adrenaline, she was lying. Not to mention, it was clear that most people knew who he was. Maybe not how to get a hold of him, but knew of him, he was the neighborhood boogie man. "Why are you guarding this door?" he asked her. She frowned. "You sure ask a lot of questions. It's none of your business what anyone here is doing. Maybe I'm just standing here, I like this spot." For God's sake what was the neko still doing standing there? She looked at him and then towards the back door hoping he'd take her hint to go around back and warn them. If he didn't, it'd be both their heads.
"Then I will do so on my own after your purposes are complete...." Kala said without emotion as she returned Micheal's look with the same emptiness that convinced many she was still the soulless doll assassin. It was clear that the life of those who controlled others and treated entire cities as their personal slaves meant little to Kala. She saw no reason to value the life of those who did not value others.... or any reason to fear Micheal. There was simply no fear in the woman it would seem as she simply turned from him without another word and headed for the bar.
"So....noisy...." was her first response as she recoiled. Her ears, currently invisible, flattened against her head as she mewed softly in annoyance. She seemed to want to leave but forced herself to continue to walk forward. She lingered slightly behind Micheal and began to observe the place. She frowned a moment, annoyed with the people and the noise. She did not understand the purpose of this place. It reeked of alcohol and other things that irritated her. So much foolishness and idiocy.....
She continued upon her way once she knew that the others were headed in the same direction. Soon the blonde was reaching out to poke lightly at Kiya's shoulder. "Hi again. You look a little nervous, you okay?" Along with being honest to a fault, she was also apparently dangerously naive about some things. She would have kept on with the same line if not for the fact that someone else's reaction caught her attention.
Turning, she smiled kindly at the disguised neko. "Bars and loud music aren't for everyone. We could go outside again if you like, once this is figured out." That way it seemed everyone might be happy. Reseda was also quite curious about the strange woman. The winged feline was just far too odd to have been born as she was. An eerie sense of magic always seemed to follow her, and that brought questions to the witch's mind.
Exavier noticed the cat guy he had seen earlier on the street with the two others. He moved a bit closer as he spoke to the female at the door about some Russian guy. That sparked a bit in his mind, but as to what, he couldn't fully pull it up. He sighed, and moved slightly closer, looking at the door as he moved. He wondered if whoever this man was, he was beyond that door. He slid a hand along the wall, he could sense people within the room, but as to their full nature he couldn't tell without further investigation. He paused when he was inches from them, listening to their conversation with a curiosity. Glancing back at the counter he saw the other male from before. He watched him for a moment as he waited to see where everything would go.
Kiya had already decided he would just sneak in through the back as soon as the woman continued to deny him entry. Though before he could really do anything, the others were upon them and the honest girl was poking him. Kiya twitched a bit, glancing at them, looking them over for a moment, then looking to the woman guarding the door. He didn't miss her signal, or rather, her look from him to the back door. In an instant the lithe neko was slipping away from them and bolting towards the back. Agile and quick he made his way to the back door and then through it, of course as soon as he entered the room all the attention was on him, and it made him squirm.
The looks in those eyes, it wasn't good attention. The words tumbled from his lips, and the people in the room scrambled. Well it wasn't really a scramble, they seemed to be good at getting out of situations like this. Even if it didn't take Michael long to get past the guard at the door, by the time he did, the room would be empty. Well, not exactly empty, Kiya would still be there, or rather turning and making his way towards the door he had entered through, and hoping he got through it before Michael caught him.
"I do not understand the purpose of this place... So many read of disappointment and sorrow but they seem to be trying to pretend happiness...." She responded to the woman as she tried to gauge those around her. Their aura's were strange to her. She didn't understand why one would subject themselves to such a thing and make themselves a slave to drink. Nothing about this place made sense and the sound made her head hurt. She rubbed it slightly and glanced at the other neko. She frowned as he walked away without answer. Her ears flickered and she watched him, wondering if he'd note her change in appearance. She doubted it, she had served her purpose to him as far as he was concerned it seemed.
A user and a used thing, it seemed a description of most of the people here. She only now truly began to study the aura's and they simply confused her more. Still, she felt her hunger stir as she read their aura's. It had been too long since she had eaten. She muttered to the two at her side that she needed a breath of air. She stepped outside quickly, her head pounding as she went through the doors and leaned back against the wall a moment. She took a few deep breaths, her eyes closing as she reached to touch her familiar. It's energy would steady her until she found someone to take energy from.... a quick bite of aura.
She had been built to store souls and to kill... now she could feed without killing but the lust would always be there, the need to taste another's soul and take their energy for her own. She fed on psychic energy much as a vampire fed on blood. It would be easy to feed in the bar on half conscious drunks but she wanted none of their disgusting energy and feared their effect on her own senses. She could not eat or drink but she could experience taste through others and did not know if she could experience drunkenness as well.
Michael found himself growing impatient and forced himself to suppress the feelings. He had noticed the neko sneaking away, but payed him no mind. Micheal was set on getting through that door. Without bothering with the lying girl before him, he reached up to the door.
"Hey!" Syd yelled, "are you deaf? I said you can't go in there!" She planted both of her palms on the man's chest and pushed, but nothing happened. It was like pushing against a brick wall. She pushed anyway. "Alek!" she yelled, knowing she'd need the strength of the AI to remove this man.
Michael pushed Syd aside. He wasn't intentionally rough, but it was almost impossible for him to be gentle. She fell onto her butt with a thud, growling and cursing. When the door slid open, Michael looked into an empty room. Well it was almost empty. There near the door was the neko.
"Where are the men who were in this room? I heard them, they were here." Michael's normally monotone voice was fading. Anger was rising in him and he was having a hard time hiding it now. He glared at the neko. "Where are they!?" he yelled, flipping the entire table over. He threw the chairs out of his way as he made his way towards the neko. "What have you done!?" he yelled angrily as he grabbed hold of the neko's collar.
The fury of their flaring aura's distracted her already hungry one and she felt herself re-enter the establishment. She walked slowly towards the back room, her eyes seeming to have a slight glow as she bent her head and followed the angry voices. She could always feed from rage easiest, perhaps because it was a feeling she understood. She felt herself feed on the energy in the room though it would not sustain her like a person would but it would temporarily clear her head. She shook it slightly and stood against the wall a moment, watching the angry man.
"I doubt he knows....He's just running now." She said quietly as she stepped closer to the two. Death would feed her well, as the soul escaped the body but she felt uncertain. Something about the other neko seemed so sad, so broken... it reminded her of something that tugged at her, though she could not remember clearly what. Had she felt that way once? She could never really be sure. Her memories before she truly awoke were foggy uncertain things and mixed with the memories of those she had killed.
Alek had gone about his business, greeting the newcomers and taking an absent note of their nervous behavior. He had watched as one woman left in a rush and a large man made his way toward the back. And he had heard Syd's desperate tone as she called his name. He was back there as soon as he could, leaning down next to her as he scanned her over quickly. No injuries. A few bruises from her fall but nothing serious. He lifted his eyes to the man in the room, narrowing his eyes. He was angry if his tone of voice was anything to go off of. Plus the non-human standing not too far from him, life signs a tad erratic and panicked. He turned back to Syd, smiling pleasantly. "Don't worry madame. I will take care of this," he said, standing an dmaking his way into the back room. "Excuse me sir," he said, standing in the doorway, hands behind his back, and a pleasant smile on his face. "But I'm afraid I will have to ask you to leave. You not only damaged company property but you are also scaring our other customers." He knew that last was mostly true. The other patrons did not really know what was happening, too drunk or far off. The others were only mildly agitated, uncomfortable by the large man's outburst.
Exavier watched the events unfold with the people. The girl being pushed out of the way as the man he had seen earlier tonight burst through the door and began yelling at the neko from before. The noises and sounds were beginning to adjitat him. A slight ringing sounded in his ears, and he moved a hand to his head closing his eyes. "ah...." he hissed slightly as the familiar sense of pain spread through his circuts. That was one feeling he could do without. He shook his head, and moved to the female as the droid moved away and into the doorway. "Are you ok?" he asked her. He had a feeling this all was not going to end well, and the droid was going to end up getting himself into trouble. By the readings coming off of the man in the room, he was not pleased at all. Adrinaline was flooding his system, heart rate up and muscle strength was tensing from what he could see. He looked like he was on the verge of beating the hell out of the neko as one would say. He wondered if he should interveine, but the look he had recieved earlier from the man caused him to hesitate. He sighed, and lowered his eyes for a moment, trying to focus through the ringing. What was that?
Things happened far too fast for Kiya's liking. It seemed to him that in the blink of an eye Michael was there, throwing things and then grabbing him. His heart thumped hard in his chest, he had hoped he would be able to make it out in time, his tail twitched erratically behind him and he grabbed for the red head's wrist. Kiya writhed slightly in Michael's grip, his eyes darting around, looking for a way out. He doubted anyone would help him now. Not the honest girl or the strange neko girl, Kiya blinked when his eyes landed on her. The strange neko girl looked different, and that confused him. Was it a disguise? But a disguise wasn't really needed.
Quickly Kiya shoved those thoughts away as another person approached, his gaze settled on the new male. An employee of the bar, Kiya had seen him before, probably had even ordered drinks from him once or twice. It was easy to see that Kiya was rather frightened for his life right now, but that didn't stop him from smiling slightly at the bar employee. "Hey fella, go get us a shot or two of whiskey, while I handle this." Kiya didn't really want any innocent bystanders to get hurt, but mostly he figured interference from another might just make Michael angrier. His feline gaze drifted back over Michael. "I did what I had to do, the only thing I could do. You gonna kill me for it?" That last question, Kiya said it as if he were challenging Michael.
((I'm going to start off with an apology. Halfway through Syd's post I ended up really distracted. I hope it makes sense and that it's something you guys can work with!))
Michael had Kiya at least a foot off the ground. Yes, he was going to kill him, but he remained silent. His icy glare would burn through the man as Michael tried to calm himself. Suppress the rage, he told himself. But this neko had ruined everything. A camera was perched in the upper left corner of the room. There was no doubt the Russian higher-up who owned this bar would be able to review the tapes and see who each and every one of them were. He'd ruined everything.
He needed to get to Gregori before Gregori knew he was coming. Now finding the man would be nearly impossible. In one swift and effortless motion, Micheal had thrown Kiya into the wooden wall beside them, cracking it with the force in which the neko was thrown. Words could be heard from the AI behind him, but Michael could no longer interpret them as rage overcame him. Kiya had ruined it all.
Michael stood over the neko once again, fists clenched. Another memory flooded him. He was laying on a table. People in white coats and surgical masks leaned over him. A bright white light caused him to squint his eyes. He made it, he heard one of them say, it took! Had he been in some kind of accident? The faces blurred and the memory was gone.
He blinked down at the neko. How had he gotten down there? What happened to the wall? He turned to face those in the doorway and the room spun. The sudden feel of his body hitting the floor startled him, then all went black.
~~~*~~~*~~~

Syd was picking herself angrily up off the floor when Exavier appeared. "I'm fine," she snapped. She was annoyed. Usually Syd could hold her own, she had to to survive here and survive her jobs. But she hadn't stood a chance against that jerk. She shoved past everyone and slid beside Alek just as Michael threw the neko into the wall.

"Hey! You're ruining the wall!" she yelled as Alek was using his polite words. She probably should have cared about the neko too, but that was kind of the least of her worries. She didn't do what she was told to do and now her boss' bar was getting messed up, too. She was really in for it now.

When Micheal fell to the ground Syd moved to stand over him. "What did you do to him?" she asked the neko. She kicked at him with her foot. It felt like she was kicking a stack of rocks. She heard commotion coming from the front room. People scattering. The boss had already sent his goons.

"We need to get out of here," she said to everyone. Someone help me carry this bafoon into the alley, "We can't be in here when the boss' goons get here." Exavier and Alek were probably in the clear, but this guy, herself and the two females who'd come here with Michael weren't going to fare so well. The neko she was unsure about. Something told her this was all his fault, since he was the first one here. Then again, he had been the one to tell the boss. He was either in trouble or in good graces, but she couldn't be sure.

In any case, she wasn't waiting around this place. She picked up Michael's hands and pulled. He didn't budge. She looked around the room for help.

Exavier tilted his head, not quite understanding, but noticing the commotion, it obviously could not be good. He moved into the room as the girl needed help lifting the large male. He kneeled down slowly by him, and scanned over him for a moment to make sure his vitals were at least relatively normal. He was alive, that was good. Placing his hands on his shoulders, he pulled him up with some effort. Thankfully, one of the perks of being an AI was his strength, and the strain his body could hold. He could feel the weight of the man pushing down on him as he makeshiftly slung him over his shoulder in a manner of speaking. He probrably looked really odd, he was slender and lengthy, as well as alright in hight. Just by looking at him his strength probrably could never be guessed, but that did not matter at the moment. They needed help, and it was against his nature and programing to idly sit by and do nothing, when he could be of assistance. He looks at the female without saying a word. For now, he would stick with her, since he had no idea what to do or where to go, especially with the other in his posession. He was a bit worried about what would happen should the other wake or know about this, but he could not let that stop him or stay in his mind. He ignored it and waited. His eyes moved to the Neko after a moment, he wondered if he should help the other, but it was a tad bit of a predicament while holding the other in his posession. He sighed, hoping everyone decided what to do quickly.

Alek had remained still as the man threw the non-human, barely moving at the terrible sound of cracking wood. "We'll have to hire a contractor for that..." he muttered under his breath absently, eyeing the wall blankly. He watched as the large man fell over, raising an eyebrow. "Oh my...should I call an ambulance?" He knew his question would go unanswered. Syd did not seem in the mood to not move the injured. Obediently, he moved forward, removing his gloves and folding them neatly into his pockets. "I will handle the non-human. I am physically incapable of handling the stranger's weight. He is just out of my weight limit." He turned his attention fully to the feline non-human, scanning his much smaller frame for any injuries. He leaned down next to him, gently slipping his hands beneath his frame before he rose, if he was even conscious at all. The urgency did not allow the service droid the gift of scanning for anything outside of external injury. He would be gentle though. It was not in his nature to be rough.

Suddenly he was flying through the air, then pain exploded throughout his body. Stars appeared before his eyes and Kiya groaned loudly when he hit the wall and crumpled to the floor. He groaned again, looking up at Michael a bit groggily as the red head towered over him. His entire body trembled, from pain and fear, he was going to die. This man was going to kill him. Then the man was falling, and Kiya was very confused, and so very not ready to stand up yet. Superficial injuries, bruises really, but still. Hitting a wall like that hurt, a lot. He wouldn't be bruised everywhere, but at the moment everywhere hurt, as if all his bones had been jarred.

He blinked a few times, looking up at all the others there. His ears twitched half heartedly at the voices, at the words being tossed about, but he only really focused on a few of them. Something about an ambulance, and something else about goons, and he was sure the word non-human was thrown in there somewhere, and had he been asked a question? Kiya blinked a few more times as someone was leaning down next to him, his entire body shivered and shuddered for a moment when those hands touched him and picked him up. Kiya wriggled slightly in the droid's grasp then became still.

Things were a bit clearer now and it was easier to focus, but Kiya didn't trust his legs to hold him up at the moment. Honestly, he had been through worse things than just being tossed into a wall. Some of his clients could be rather brutal and downright cruel. Although, none of them were quite as strong as Michael. He shook his head slightly, his pinkish purple furred tail curling gently around the droid's waist, and his hands moved to cling tightly to whatever part of the other he could cling comfortably to.

"So foolish and unnecessary......" The magical creation said simply as she watched the violence. She noted micheal's confusion and felt herself feed unconsciously on his rage but thought little of it. Surely he acted of his own will so should know what had happened? She felt herself unsure but she pushed away the thought. She sighed, again thinking of her need to feed. It would have to wait it seemed. She did have an empty loft she'd taken over, long dusty and abandoned it had few creature comforts but it was hard to find or even enter should you know where it was. The building it was in had been left to rot and most entrances and exits were blocked so you really had to know what to look for to get there. She had a simple teleportation spell, however, so exit and entrance was fairly easy for her. She frowned a moment but finally sighed and looked at the group.

"I have a safe place I can take the unconscious man...... and anyone else who feels they need a safe place to hide out." She finally said as she turned to one wall. She did not use the gem this time, instead she made a simple series of hand motions which opened a small swirling circle of what appeared to be black and purple smoke. She reached into the cold gasses and pulled out what appeared to be a piece of chalk. She began to draw on one wall a few symbols, muttering that they would disappear when she was done if anyone gave her a look.

Once it was complete the symbols began to glow and swirl as she dropped the chalk back into the tiny floating vortex she'd summoned earlier that held her pocket dimension and various items she used. The symbols soon were glowing a bright blue and formed what appeared to be a mirror made of silver liquid. Stepping through would reveal it was a portal and opened into the loft she found but Kala waited, as all would disappear and close once she had.

"This man must be hidden as he seeks Gregori and can not defend himself, but who else desires to come with me? If you do please step through....." She said simply as she glanced over the group. How many would feel the desire to hide from this gregori? Just how afraid was everyone? Now she would know..... Now she would know just how much the man needed to die... As well as perhaps protect these people as she could sense no one was waiting in the loft or had entered it since she left due to earlier protective spells placed there. She knew little of the world, but of magic she knew much. She could not really say why she desired to, perhaps simply because it would defy this Gregori that seemed the city's boogie man.

Reseda looked on with a rather dumbfounded expression as events unfolded before her startled eyes. It was one thing thinking it would be easy to deal with such situations, but another entirely to be thrown into it. Michael's abrupt change of demeanor made her lift her hand in a beseeching manner. The blonde would have spoken then, interposed herself between the neko and the redhead, but before then Michael had fainted. She was worried for the both of them, but it seemed that Kiya was already taken care of.

Brown eyes moved to the winged neko with silent wonder at the ease she performed spells she'd never even heard of, but that wasn't what had really brought her attention to her. "I'll go." There was safety in numbers. With that said, Reseda turned her attention back to Michael with a frown, as well as the android who had picked him up. It seemed like she would need to show her minimal knowledge of spells much sooner then she'd anticipated. A few muttered words, spoken in a sing song voice, and then the young woman was reaching out to pluck up the unconscious redhead in her arms. Reseda remembered, belatedly, Michael's reaction to him in the streets not all that long ago. She didn't think he would relish waking up being held by him.

"I just hope he'll be alright... He seemed kind of surprised at himself just before fainting." If that hadn't been the case Reseda would probably not have been so willing to help while putting herself at risk.

Kiya wriggled a bit against the droid that was supporting him. His ears perking up some, his head was suddenly throbbing though, and his tail around the droid's waist tightened just a little bit. As if trying to gain extra support through that motion. His lips parted and at first nothing came out of them but the tiniest of whimpers. Those eyes of is dancing from one person to the next before they landed on the other neko. Safe? There was no such thing as a safe place, especially in this city, even if Gregori wasn't the threat one was hiding from. This whole city was nothing but danger. His gaze jumped from her to Michael. Safe with him?

The way Kiya saw it, he could get destroyed by the Russian, or destroyed by the red head. Still, maybe one of these people would keep Michael from killing him. Safety in numbers, right? Even if one of those numbers was trying to kill you? A soft mewl left his lips, a long with a sigh. His life was a miserable existence anyway, why not just let someone do him in? Kiya was sorely tempted to let that happen. Just leave him there with a bottle of whiskey and he would let the goons snuff him out. Maybe there would be some torture in it for him before they killed him. One could only hope. His hands on the droid tightened fiercely and he pressed his body hard against the other, shivering almost uncontrollably now.

Physical pain was good, it kept certain memories away, certain non physical pain at bay, but Kiya didn't particularly want to be tortured and he was honestly afraid of death. He licked his lips and whispered softly to the android that was helping him. "I want to go through the portal, please?" He spoke those words gently, with a little uncertainty, as if he thought his request might be denied. His gaze jumping back to the other neko, as if for confirmation or denial of his entry.

"Thanks," she said to Exavier when he picked the man up off the floor. She wasn't going to make any assumptions, but she'd just tried pulling at Michael and he felt like he weighed a ton, and she wasn't exactly a scrawny little child. Exavier must be something else, not human. Perhaps another AI. He didn't look like a weight lifter anyway.

She always did hate the fact that the newer models could blend so easily into a crowd and seem so human. It didn't matter now, now what mattered was getting out of here before Gregori's goons made it through the door, which would be any time now.

As the winged neko summoned up a portal, Syd stood there nervously, eyes shifting from person to person to the door and back as she tapped her foot and shifted her weight. Just as Reseda took Michael and Kiya asked to go, a spray of bullets exploded through the back room door. Instinctively Syd moved farther from the door, arms protecting her head.

There wasn't any time to sit here and decide now, they needed to take the portal or stay and die. It seemed Gregori didn't care if there were innocent bystanders in the way. The choice was clear. When the shots ceased, Syd knew they wouldn't for long. She ran for the portal and jumped in without a moments hesitation. Trust the creepy magical neko or stay here and get turned into swiss cheese.

Her feet hit the floor on the other side and she was still running. She stopped herself and turned around to face the portal. Were the goons going to make it? Her heart raced, would everyone else make it?

Reseda had been poking slightly at the portal with her more ethereal sense to try and find out if it was safe, but things progressed so quickly that such an assessment became unnecessary. It was dive into the unknown or die. The blonde didn't take a moment more to think. With bullets flying all around she ran through the portal to stumble and waver upon the other side. Breath coming in heavy gasps, Reseda fell to the floor with Michael's weight pushing her down. The commotion had made the witch lose all concentration, and it was a wonder she'd managed to bring the redhead through the swirling mass of energy at all.

Alek made sure to keep the other held firmly, the droid certain not to aggravate the bruises that were certainly forming on his back. He watched as a non-human sorceress (this one seemed feline as well with the exception of a curious pair of wings) summoned a portal to what he assumed was a safe location. His quick scanning wasn't coming up with anything but he mostly associated that with the fact he wasn't designed to analyze any sort of magical input.

He gave his charge a soft look as he spoke quietly, the tail that had curled about his waist tightening. "If that is what you wish, sir," he said, smiling. His head shot up and around at the spray of bullets and the sharp sound of gunfire. He narrowed his eyes before he began to move, swiftly carrying the injured man in his arms through this portal. While he was unsure if it was entirely safe on the other side, it was certainly much more secure than their situation right now. He stood stiffly in the flat for a moment, systems panicking and scrambling at the unfamiliar and foreign sensation of magic throughout the entirety of his systems. When the panic decreased in intensity he moved out of the way, not wanting to block the way while simultaneously looking for a soft place to place the non-human in his arms.

Unsure really of what to do, he figured it was probrably against his best intrest to stay around here. He slowly moved through the odd portal thing, but as soon as he did, he turned away from it and others. He figured now more then ever his prescence was not welcome with them at all. It was best to move on and away from them before he caused any more trouble. A sigh escaped from him, a human thing that was becoming quite useful for the emotions that were surging through his body at the moment. He felt useless now, like he had when he had awoken. No memories, no idea what to do, no where to go... Seemed he was on his own once more, but if it was his prescence which was causing unease, he would go.

"I do not think I like this gregori........" The creation said simply as the bullets started, appearing rather bored. She stepped forward, her disguise coming undone and her cat features released as she summoned the power of the shadows around her. She formed a shield between the door and everyone else, the shadows rising and solidifying into something harder then steel. She could not hold such a strong shield too long, but it was long enough that everyone in the room would be allowed time to get through the portal she had created. She debated staying but it felt as if these were just hired goons with guns.....slaves, not masters. Their aura's were dull and held the fear of a servant.

With that and a shrug she waited for the last person to head through before she dropped the shield and stepped through. Once she arrived at the spacious, but unfurnished and decrepit, loft she would turn to the portal. She struck out with one arm, sending knives of solidified shadow into the room they had just left as a surprise for any goon who had entered before she began to chant. The portal would close and leave no trace except for barren walls. She made sure to cast a concealing spell that would eat up the traces of energy so they could not be followed. She then turned back to the group and studied them rather passively.She paused to glance at the A.I. who seemed to uncertain.

" I made that offer to all there. Any willing to stand against gregori or who is simply hunted by him as you will be now, are welcome. I have decided I dislike him greatly....

The room they were in appeared to have been cleaned of dust, likely by Kala, but was otherwise left in a fairly shabby condition. Many of what had been windows or doors were caved in almost, debris blocking all but one exit. There was no furniture except for a couple nightstands she had salvaged and a bed roll that had likely been her own. The creature would then summon her usual pocket dimension opening as before to pull out a roll for each. She often had extra, as well as other odds and ends that often seemed useless until she needed them. She would hand them to each without any real emotion.

Kiya's ears flicked and laid flat against his head at the sound of gunfire, he clung tighter to the android but his body filled with relief when he was sure they were going through the portal. He closed his eyes tightly as they went, his grip around the humanoid machine tightening to what would probably bruising strength if he had been clinging to the soft flesh of a human.

His eyes opened slowly when they came out into Kala's hidey hole of a room. His grip remained tight around the droid and he nuzzled the other's neck gently. Kiya's body relaxed greatly in those arms. For the moment he did feel rather safe, slowly his tail uncurled from Alek's waist, but Kiya wasn't quite ready to leave those arms yet. His body ached from head to toe, but that overall ache would be gone soon, then the only thing that ached would be those bruises.

The nekojin sighed softly, what he really wanted right now, was a bottle of strong alcohol and a very hot, relaxing bath. He wriggled ever so slightly and looked around at the others, flinching unconsciously when his eyes landed on Michael. He was sure that red head would try to kill him once he was conscious again. Kiya still wasn't ready to leave the safety of those arms, but he wriggled and squirmed his way out of them and hopped a few steps away from Alek.

Yellow green eyes narrowed slightly and he moved closer to Kala, his movements not quite as fluid as before, each one laced with a bit of pain, but that didn't stop him. Kiya leaned in really close to her and inhaled deeply, taking in her scent, then he hopped back away from her, his tail swaying gently behind him. An almost amused smile on his lips. Hide the pain, hide the fear, hide the sorrow, and don't get too deeply into trouble. Those were the rules to live by, except it seemed he had gotten far to deep into trouble this time.

"So, I take it, there's no bathtub or indoor plumbing or, and more importantly, very strong alcoholic drinks to go around?" Those ears twitched and his head tilted to the side slightly, his eyes on Kala.
