Kala tensed as he neared her but simply blinked and watched him with empty eyes as he leaned in to take in her scent. It was a strange scent she knew. Feline, human, vampire and all laced with the scent of roses and lilies. Her creator had thought enchanting her to smell of these flowers, such as many left at the local graveyard for the dead, was a clever irony as he had made her as a tool of death. She did not understand intimacy so had no reason to get any thrill from his closeness, knowing about sex and romance only from books and what her familiar told her. As he spoke she gazed at him a moment in thought, that same puzzled expression briefly touching her features.

"I have no such mortal needs....but there is a bathroom I can likely make workable with a few water spells after I have eaten. I will need a willing donor or to go hunt....Psychic energy is best from positive emotion but negative can be palatable to the hunter within." She said honestly. She sighed a moment and glanced over at the portal to see who all had gone through. She could force any of the magical beings here to be a meal, but it was against her nature. No... she only accepted willing donors or hunted for someone releasing that energy anyway. Of course summons could be useful too for such things but she would need a real meal soon.... To taste another's aura and feed on their pain, their pleasure, their self.

Syd took the roll from Kala. She didn't thank her, she was still trying to wrap her mind around everything that was happening. She glanced towards Michael. He was their only chance at figuring this mess out now. She moved away from everyone and put her back to a wall where she could watch them all, standing the roll against the wall beside her.

She had an apartment, not that she was sure it was safe to go back to now. She sighed. It looked like she would be staying here, for now. She scanned the room. One exit, one entrance. One. That always made Syd uncomfortable. She didn't know any of these people, only Alek, and he wasn't technically a people. She didn't trust any of them, not even Alek.

Michael remained unconscious and would for the majority of the night. Syd would keep her place at the wall, awake, watching him. She'd be damned if they all fell asleep and let him get away. They'd all be damned.

Alek lowered his hands to his side as his charge stumbled off him and off to the other non-human, asking about plumbing and baths and alcohol. The droid shook his head light, moving off to one corner after he respectfully declined a bedroll. He had no idea if one was for him or not, but it would be polite to decline anyway just in case. He didn't really need one. He wasn't staying long after all. The panicking systems within his being had calmed considerably, but one program was still firing off rapidly and erratically and in a slightly discernible pattern. As if it was trying to communicate with an outside source but couldn't due to interference. This was troubling him deeply, making him feel isolated and separate from something large he had no idea he was connected to. It was probably just some sort of magical interference the non-human sorceress had put up. It was probably sparking a paranoia in him that he desperately needed squash. It was a foreign sensation he wanted nothing to do with. "Excuse me, madame," he said, finally moving from his corner and approaching the winged female. "Would you please point me to the exit? I have somewhere I need to be and I'd prefer to get there as soon as possible."

(Note: I thought I'd just pushed myself too hard the other day but it's developed into a full on stomach flue so please forgive me if I seem a little off or make mistakes)

Kala glanced at the wary girl, not particularly offended by her actions. She simply shrugged and began her internal debate about how precisely to feed when Alek spoke to her. She looked up at him and shook her head, not liking to have ot play the role she was about to. She could not read the aura of a machine the way she did a man, but she did know a little about them. Tracking devices were common, especially in the older models, as were communication systems that could be tracked back to a location. She could not allow him to exit the traditional way.

"You may have a tracking system or similar device within you. For the safety of this place I can not allow you to leave the traditional way. You will have to wait until i can make another portal which will require I feed....Using magic right now would be....inadvisable. I doubt anyone here will volunteer so that may be a bit of a wait...." She answered him simply and honestly. She could do magic in a state of hunger, but she became far more dangerous if she did. Demonic or vampiric instincts could be awoken and make her less in control of herself. Perhaps she should have taken one of the goons with her.... they seemed to have been mainly human and lack magic so would not be a very good or tasty meal but it would have tided her over.

"I apologize......" She added finally, though she seemed unsure when she used the words. It was not that they lacked sincerity, she simply seemed unused to saying them. She was not use to socializing period really. She was use to being alone and doing things on her own. It was the reason she had simply made a choice about gregori with little thought to how others may feel.

Kiya took a few more steps away from Kala when she spoke of feeding from one of them or hunting. His steps brought him back to Alek, and he reached out to wrap his arms around one of Alek's. Though it was mostly for support, Kiya's legs still felt a little untrustworthy. He really probably ought to be sitting down, but he felt like that would make him a little more vulnerable than he already was. So he remained on his feet, and leaning against Alek. He was sure the android wouldn't mind, it seemed nice enough.

Still Kala had said energy from a positive source was best, Kiya was sure that completely put him out of the running to be eaten, but he still watched her warily. Then Alek spoke of leaving, and Kiya considered going with him, or rather, just also leaving. He glanced at Alek, contemplating how safe it would be if he left this little hidey hole, those eyes shifting back to Kala when she once again spoke of feeding. Her scent was a very strange one, though all this talk about eating was making Kiya rather hungry. Of course, he ate normal food.

"Actually, I probably should be leaving too. That guy," Kiya nodded towards the unconscious Michael. "Is probably going to destroy me." His grip on Alek's arm tightened for the briefest of moments.

Alek unconsciously stiffened, smile vanishing and becoming a terse line. "I will leave through the window if I have to, but I am not staying here," he hissed, unaware that the electrical undertone of his voice had increased as if his systems were suddenly thrown into overdrive. "I can't stay here." He stopped as the non-human he had assisted earlier came back to him, feeling thin arms wrap themselves around his arm and hold. When he spoke of leaving as well Alek cast a glance to the unconscious man in the room, his smile having vanished entirely. It would probably be easier to just kill him, get it over with, and spare them the troubles of possibly having an angry man with impossible amounts of strength attempting to tear them apart. If it came to that and Alek had yet been allowed exit the droid doubted he would move to help anyone attempting to flee.

"I have offered those who are here my protection, I would not let him kill you...... but you may leave if you like. However, I am afraid due to your earlier actions you must also leave by portal. I would prefer not to use force but you both must stay here a little longer. To open portals when my concentration is distracted by feeding is too dangerous..... Your best hope is someone offer to allow me to feed on their aura.... It is not painful, in fact some seem to find great pleasure in it. I have learned to make my victims feel only tired so there is no damage done either..." She explained as the other moved away from her in fear. She didn't consider how someone might feel invaded as 'damage' being the practical being she was. She stood slowly, uncoiling herself almost like a snake might. The tassels on her bracelets were shifting slightly, as if the magic within them was singing as she worried she may need to summon them. She did not want to hurt them but she could not allow them to endanger the rest either.

"I do not wish to harm any of you...." She repeated with a frown, a briefly torn expression appearing on her face before a puzzled one replaced it. She was not use to having uncertainty. She could be a fickle being, yes, as any cat could... but generally she had a certainty of purpose, rid the world of those who foolishly saw themselves as masters and hurt the world because of this belief, that could not be tainted by confusion. To have to offer protection while also warning that she would harm to protect those who had chosen to stay with her did not sit well with her.

"You put me in a strange position......" She added, more to herself then the two facing her. She appeared almost lost briefly, as if something foreign had happened that she could not comprehend. Confusion, uncertainty, the desire to not be feared, regret...... all of these feelings were new to her. Her familiar stayed silent mostly, only glancing at the two before her as if they had made a grave error and did not realize what they were challenging. She was created as a living weapon to destroy, but had the heart of one who desired to protect... a dangerous thing in the familiar's mind. It would have been better if that last kill for her now dead master had not cursed her with a conscious and normal emotions according to the feline shaped familiar.

The sights and sounds of the city made Exavier feel a little as if it would be better at least until daylight not to be on his own. He was not sure what the area would hold. He decided to slip along with the others, but kept away from them all, feeling more outcasted by the moment. He watched the two talk about leaving, and he wondered if he should go with them, but then again, that would only lead to danger as well. He sighed, standing as he noticed one of the other females alone against a wall. He walks over, and tilts his head a bit. "My prescence...is it bad?" he asked bluntly. As an AI he did not posess the ability to lie, and if he did it was a horrible one most of the time. He did not see the point in it most of the time.

Reseda listened half heartedly to words spoken by others. She was far too busy struggling to heave off Michael's dead weight. She heaved and pushed, only managing to ease her breathing after even more strenuous effort. The man was as heavy as a rock, and just as hard to move.

With a sigh the blonde let her arms plop to the ground as she turned her head to eye the winged neko. "I'll let you take some of my energy if it helps. " The way the others were talking about leaving worried her. Not so much the pink haired man; he seemed frightened and constantly searching for some way out. It was teh android, and the other strange man who'd worried Michael so that made her wonder about their safety with their departure.

Alek's face visibly twitched, a soft spasm going through his frame. Programming was uprooted and subverted, sequestered to the back into secured files for safe keeping. Secondary programming was given a boost and was running to its full capacity and was already setting about scanning the walls for weak points and examining and studying the magic barriers that were obvious once it began to scan. "I can't stay," he muttered, the sound no longer containing the human element that made his model such a success. It was flat and emotionless and the electrical undertone had shifted and warped slightly. The arm was pulled away from the other non-human and the droid made its way to one wall. His hand was placed on the rough surface and he was scanning and searching for holes in the barrier, holes in which to send a signal, a signal that wasn't standard for this model and was, in fact, not even 'natural' in nature. Well as natural as a synthetic humanoid servant could even be.

"Yes... I will be able to make a portal to a random location and everyone should be safe.... and free as they can be until I kill gregori...I am afraid I will have to hold you still a moment android...." She responded, her tone as casual as it would be should she have been asked about the weather. She struck out her hand and Alek would find his own shadow lifted and wrapped around him until he was covered almost from head to toe and pulled to the ground. He would be held tightly there until she finished eating and then completed her portal for him.

She seemed instantly cheered, no longer having to face the decision of choosing one person's freedom over another, at least not longer then for a moment. It was a choice that did not fit in her black and white world. Then again, before today her world had also been very small. It had been her and her familiar, with faceless 'others' milling around them to be food and that was all. Now she was responsible for a group even though that had not been her intention... she just couldn't leave them to die.

"You will be able to leave momentarily, without endangering the others, if you will give me a moment...." She said simply to the android and other neko. She then turned back to the witch who had offered herself, moving micheal to lay on the floor easily before she helped Resa stand. She approached the witch, and murmured to 'stay very still'. She would approach her from behind, putting her arms around the other woman's waist. Soon she placed a chaste kiss on the other woman's throat at the top of her spine and flared her wings to wrap around the two so nothing could be seen but large and beautiful mystic velvet of her wings.

Resa would fill herself surrounded by a strange, warm wind and her nose would be filled with the scent of flowers. Darkness would surround her but the warmth would be gentle against the witch's skin. The only thing that she would feel was a strange pulling sensation and a tingle across the place kissed. She would then feel a strange happiness, as if her happiest moment or memory was made real. Then it would be over and Resa would feel the happiness leave her to be replaced with a strange emptiness and exhaustion.

"Thank you, M'lady." She murmured to Resa, shrinking her wings again as she sat the girl down slowly. She didn't know if the girl would be able to stand... She watched her for only a moment before turning without waiting for a reaction and heading to a wall. She slowly began to draw similar symbols as before, building a portal that would transport any who wished to leave to the center of town far from here. Her eyes were glowing, her energy high from having a meal. She had put off eating for a few days...

For a moment Kiya just watched Kala, then his gaze shifted to Reseda when she spoke. His ears twitching a bit, and when Alek's voice changed and he pulled away from Kiya, the nekojin blinked, took a step back and let his legs fold beneath him. Promptly sitting on the floor with a tired sigh, but curiously, he watched Alek. Kiya was tired, all he wanted was a hot bath, a good drink and sleep. He raised his hand to cover his lips as he yawned, those eyes watching the android. "She said we can leave after she eats. Can't you wait a minute or two?" She had also said she would protect them.

Kiya didn't want to distrust her, but he couldn't quite trust her either. He was sure she would let them leave, but the protection thing seemed a little much. After all, he fully deserved to suffer the wrath of Michael. If only he had been faster, he could have gotten out of that room before Michael had gotten in. His tail twitched slightly, and Kiya grimaced lightly. His thoughts, were interrupted by Kala restraining the android, those feline eyes of his blinking as a shiver ran down his spine. No, it would definitely be best not to anger her.

His attention shifted as Kala moved to Reseda to feed. He watched the event with mild curiosity, though he really couldn't see much. Those wings blocked out the entire view and for a moment, Kiya let his mind wander to rather perverted and inappropriate thoughts of what could be happening behind that curtain of velvet. It made him squirm slightly and almost purr. It made him want to play too, of course Kiya was sure nothing fun was happening behind those wings, but then that was what the imagination was for.

When the feeding was over, and Kala moved to a wall to make a portal, Kiya found he really did not want to get up. Only because if he left, it meant he would be running. A lot of running, and would be hard pressed to find another safe place to hide. Though he was still trying to determine how safe this place was. He shook his head slightly. "I'm tired of running." Those words held more meaning than just referring to the events of today and his entire body seemed to slump. Everything he tried so hard to hide was showing in his eyes. Sorrow. So much sorrow. "I just want a hot bath, a good drink and sleep." His ears were drooping, his tail was still, and those words had been spoken quietly, mumbled to himself.

Syd had her arms crossed and one foot up on the wall as she leaned against it. Strands of blonde and pink hair fell around her face and she looked annoyed, though that was mostly a front, as it always was.

She watched as the others exchanged. The winged girl wouldn't let the AI leave through the exit. He may have a tracking device... Syd recalled the cell phone in her mini skirt pocket. It had been sent to her by her boss, who she had an inkling now was Gregori himself. But she couldn't be sure. Never did the boss ever have contact with lackeys at her position.

Exavier approached her and she turned her green eyed gaze to him for a moment before returning it to the others. He was an AI, he had to be. They looked like real people, but there were some things about them that always gave them away. Now his asking of his presence, she was sure.

She looked at him once again. The newer models were always learning, changing... it creeped her out. "No," she said finally. "It's not you." Maybe it was him a little. For her anyway. "It's this place. This room, these people, this city, our situation." Was he new to town? "People around here aren't friendly. When they are, they're usually conning you." She knew by experience, she was a fabulous con. "Don't take it personally," she added, wondering if he could.

Syd watched as the winged woman stopped Alek from leaving. She moved off the wall and took a step forward. She didn't like AI's, but she'd worked with Alek for a long time. He'd saved her ass in plenty of bar fights and other conflicts at the bar. Though she was sure he was programmed to keep the bar peace, she still didn't want to see anything bad happen to him. It seemed some things grew on you, even things you don't always necessarily like.

The neko woman wrapped Reseda in her wings. Syd thought she'd heard Reseda volunteer to feed the neko. But still the whole thing made Syd uneasy. Her pocket vibrated and she turned away from Exavier. It was the boss. They knew she was involved and would ensure she lived if she'd serve as a sort of spy, be their intel on the inside.

She deleted the message as instructed. All she wanted to do was get out of here. But she wanted to wait for Michael to wake. After that message she was pretty sure it was in her best interest, whether she had planned to wait or not.

Suddenly Michael's eyes snapped open. He sat straight up. "Where am I?" he asked, looking around the room and over the neko man without so much as a double take. Thank goodness. Hopefully it wouldn't be long now before Syd could leave.

Reseda was rather surprised at the ease which the winged neko used to move Michael. The other woman had such surprising physical strength! As told, she did not move an inch, save to tilt her head to the side curiously as arms were wrapped around her and a kiss placed upon her neck. It was all very strange to say the least, but curiosity helped the blonde get over that quickly enough.

Then black surrounding her, but comfortably so. An unexplainable happiness followed a tugging sensation, accompanied by scents of things she'd never smelled before. The pleasant sensations faded away all too soon, leaving the witch exhausted, fuzzy and somewhat at a loss. She couldn't think clearly, not well enough to acknowledge Kala's thanks and certainly not enough to clearly think through her next actions.

Mumbling softly to herself about finding a pillow and sleeping, she crawled towards something pink, not to mention very fluffy. But a voice caught her attention and made Reseda decide, in her disoriented mind, that crawling back the little way she'd come to rest her head against Michael's shoulder was a good idea. With a little sniffle she realized how very uncomfortable her chosen headrest was, and turned right back around to rest her head upon the pink fluff which had caught her eye earlier. Sighing with contentment she cuddled up to her chosen pillow with no idea that it was in fact someone's tail, for the moment.

Alek felt the invasive force grab and hold him, looking down to examine it before looking away. With a soft whir and a quiet screeching noise he sent his signal, sending it through one of the smaller holes (the only one that was found) within the spell's membrane. He wondered wondered if his signal would even go out. Deep down the droid doubted it. So it activated its defense mechanism to keep the shadowy membrane holding his body from damaging its delicate programming; it began to broadcast. It was only a slight noise but it filled the space around him and kept the bindings from entering. Whether if it was their purpose or not it didn't matter. They were a force that it would not allow inside. The noise was meant to disrupt magical signals so keeping the spell's matrix from intercepting and invading delicate coding and was doing an effective job at barring itself. While it found no resistance against the incessant hum of his broadcast.

He sighed as he got his answer. It did not help much, he figured it was best not to press the issue very much though. Being what he was seemed like a bit more of a bad thing then good. It shouldn't matter is what he felt, but then again he was in fact new to this place as far as he knew, so it was better to stay calm for now. He thought about what she said, taking in the information and processing it. People here were not kind, and if they were it was a con....Did that mean all of this now was a con? Did that mean that it was a lie and something bad was going to happen? He glanced over the other members in the room, and for a moment debated on scanning them to see if there was any change in their bodies. It was probrably not going to be much help though, the mood and tensions were high, so of course their vitals would be as well.

It wasn't as long as they expected for the other man to wake up. He seemed groggy and out of it, but alright none the less. He did not look like he was going to cause to much of a trouble, and that was good. He figured that was the last thing people needed right now. Glancing at the female who had been speaking to him before, he noticed her messing with a device. He recognized it as a cell phone, a communication device for humans. What she was doing with it, it was most likely better not to ask. He figured it was better to get out of there before he was spotted and caused trouble for the other man once again, his reaction to him before had been less then desireable. He turned away from everyone, and slipped along the wall towards the door. He doubted anyone would notice, so it was good for him to get out now.

Kiya was content to sit there, slumped as he was, feeling sorry for himself and trying very hard to not think about anything at all. He was doing a horrible job at the not thinking part, though soon he was distracted from his thoughts. When Michael sat up, Kiya straightened, wary eyes on the man, his body tense. Despite the soreness and bruises along his back, Kiya was ready to bolt at the slightest hint that Michael might move towards him. The tip of his tail twitched ever so slightly and his ears had perked up, alert to the danger.

He hadn't noticed Reseda moving towards him, he was so intent on watching Michael that he was surprised when the witch grabbed his tail. The slightest of shiver ran down his spine and the softest of mewls left his lips, his eyes narrowed at the drowsy witch now as he reached out to grab his own tail. Yanking it from her grasp as she tried to cuddle up to it with a scowl on his face. Honestly, Kiya wouldn't have minded letting her cuddle with his tail, the tail he now held protectively against his chest, but if he had to bolt at a moment's notice her cuddling his tail would make it very difficult for him to run away from Michael. He watched Reseda for a moment before that wary gaze settled back on to Michael.

Reseda's head hit the floor with a soft thump. Instead of railing about it as she usually would have, the witch simply curled up anyway with a yawn. Soon her breathing slowed and her eyes fluttered closed. Giving away her energy like that had truly caused her to want to do nothing more then lie around despite the seriousness of the situation. She did try to stay awake, a little fact proved by her flickering eyelids and sometimes open eyes.

((the shadows are only on the surface, like cloth, they don't penetrate anything. Also sorry to just throw your character out like she's about to but it's what he said he wanted XD. If no one exits to be with him and kya does not provide anything I'll toss a new character at him xD.))

As the droid tried to send a signal through the barriers he would find the neko never just had one and the signal would be blocked once again. It wouldn't let anything other then her magic out, only in. It even soundproofed the place so the sound was trapped within the room. Just because the neko did not know much of machinery she knew enough to do such things. Her training had not been..... kind but it had been through and very good. She did, however, jump at the sudden sound and briefly cover her ears as a shiver traveled down her spine. She took a deep breath and picked up her chalk before once again focusing on creating the only exit even for sound. It would be a one way portal, things could exit but not enter. Once the portal was complete she would toss the droid with the shadows that bound him gently through it and he would find himself on the empty street, free of the shadow bindings but unable to see any sign of a portal or way of return. The only sign something was odd would be the air appeared to flicker and move from the spot he had come through.

"Any one else who would like to leave, please step through. I can risk holding this open only so long." She said simply as she turned to look at the group and leaned back against the wall. She seemed slightly less cold, however, as if she had been rattled somehow. Loud, sudden, sharp noises always did that to her. Why she never said but judging by the look of almost pity the familiar gave her for a split second, it probably did. She stared at the ground, however, and appeared to miss the look. She only looked up as Micheal awoke and spoke.

"My loft..... It is a safe place for now. Please don't try to hurt anyone here....." She answered, appearing to be herself once again. She glanced towards the other neko as if in thought, debating a moment about his words. He had not been running, why was he tired of it? She did not understand. She finally decided to ignore the, to her, confusing statement and instead speak to the rest of his words. She could help with two out of the three though he looked too frightened to want them now.

"Once those who desire to leave have left I can prepare the bathroom for mortal use but there is no alcohol..... sorry......"

((I also apologize if this seems god moddy but she did just eat so is at her most powerful and the barriers were already stated to have been put in. >.<. ))

(Oh don't worry I knew that! The thing is that Alek's secondary programming didn't and didn't want to risk the files it's trying to protect. Let's just say that Alek is known as the ARK in several circles for a reason.)

Alek's body slammed into concrete and it lay there, ceasing it's broadcast as it managed to reconnect with the larger server. It closed its eyes, laying there for a moment, feeling a gentle hum fill its systems. Finally, it opened its eyes again and sat up, scanning the area for anything hostile. The droid stood, remaining stark still for a very long moment, exchanging files rapidly as it communicated. Eventually it became comfortable that it was no longer in danger and was no longer threatened with the loss of valuable files, files that were evolving and changing without any assistance, taking in all of what the droid experienced and developing off of that. It was truly more valuable than most would be able to see. Eventually it deactivated the secondary programs, queuing the primary personality profile back up and allowing it to regain control of the body's primary functions. The droid blinked and looked around, confusion evident on his face. "Now...when did I get out here?" he muttered to himself, lifting a hand to scratch at his chin in confusion and mild concern.

Michael looked at Kala. So he was in fact with the woman who'd said she'd help him. That much he recalled. As Reseda rested her head on his shoulder, icy blue eyes looked down at her. Instantly he recalled a face. A woman's. The woman he'd remembered earlier who'd been burning in the house. The two of them were in a room, he was looking down at her and she smiled up at him before resting her head on his shoulder.

As quickly as the memory came, Reseda moved and it was gone. Michael stood and looked around the room once again as Kala opened a portal. He stared into it. He needed to be out there looking for Gregori but, in this room there were two people willing to help and another with definite information. The blonde haired woman with pink streaks in her hair he assumed had information too. And then there was another man, the man he'd seen on the street earlier.

Michael crossed the room to the man and stood before him, still as stone. His icy stare lingered on Exavier. "You are a droid," he said, merely thinking out loud. He waited for more memories to come at the sight of the AI, but none did. Still, he felt somehow connected to the machine. He turned to face the room, icy stare lingering on Kiya.

It would seem to the others that Michael did not recall what he had done to Kiya, and maybe he didn't. But the man certainly could tell that the neko had been harmed. He also knew that he had been unconscious and that always happened after he had done something that caused him to feel too much emotion. His body always shut down. Another reason he chose to suppress all emotions at all times.

"I will stay. In the morning we will regroup and decide what step to take next. We need rest," he said looking from the hurt Kiya to the exhausted Reseda. He himself needed sleep as well, though only a few hours a day or night would be more than enough. He scanned the room internally, listening and assessing. A small and constant humming sound caused him to turn his head towards Syd.

"You have a cell phone in your pocket, let me have it," he demanded. "What? No," she replied frowning. Michael walked towards her intending to take the device. Syd wasn't going to give it up, she needed it to save her life. Initially she was going to rely on Michael, but after that text she knew she didn't need any of these people. Especially this nosy, pushy moron.

Syd stood her ground but remembered what it was like trying to push the man and lift him earlier. Her heart rate picked up nervously as he towered over her. What did he want her cell phone for, and how had he even known she had it? She frowned up at him, green eyes momentarily searching for the portal. Part of her wanted to bolt, but another part knew that if she did, she didn't have a chance for survival.

((I'm going to leave Kala until everyone replies to the stay/go thing))

Quote:
Dinnae Faervell

In her human appearance she has white hair with strange pale blue and silver streaks she keeps in a loose braid, her eyes(or what’s left of them) covered by a bright blue sash. Her face is beautiful and delicate except for where a bit of her scars can be seen. She has three jagged claw scars across her eyes, or rather eye sockets as the injury removed one eye and rendered the other useless. They are short enough that all that can be seen is the tip of one on the right side of her forehead and the tip on her left cheek.. Her build is willowy, delicate, undeniably feminine with the slender muscles of a dancer. She always wears a local flower in her hair with clothing made of vivid bright blue and dark blue silk, she says she finds blue dye the most ‘calming’ smelling color. She is always seen with a wolf whom she uses as a seeing eye dog and a simple black umbrella. In her various beast forms she is either fully or partially a white and silver fox like creature. Sometimes with one tail, sometimes with more.
"A moment ago.... You seemed rather upset." said a gentle voice to Alek's left from the sidewalk. The owner of the voice stood with an umbrella over her shoulder and a leash in her hand. Following the leash would lead to a large black wolf, it's eyes on the droid appearing rather hardened as if it didn't trust him. Why she had the canine was clear from her covered eyes, though how she had realized the droid was upset accordingly she didn't seem inclined to say. The blindfolded woman stepped forward slowly, though she seemed more to glide or float such was her grace. It was like watching a snowflake gently falling from the sky as a gentle wind played with it. The loose strands of white hair near her face seemed to sway slightly, furthering the illusion until she came to a stop in front of the droid.

"Would you like help up?" She asked softly as she switched her umbrella to her leash holding hand and held the other towards him. She smiled at him softly, gently. It was a pure smile, one untainted and bright despite the fact she showed none of her teeth and it was rather reserved. Her hand would be slightly colder to the touch then it should be, but perhaps that was simply the cool night air. She had not been in the city long, but whatever her reason for being here it seemed there was no violence in her so perhaps she had simply intended to pass through. It would not be the first time she had simply wandered through a city like this yet somehow remained untouched by it.

She often would work at a theater in some sort of dance performance and such was where she walked home from now. In fact her shoes appeared to be blue toe shoes, as if for some sort of ballet. It was a rare sight for many, but she was either unaware how odd she and her colorful blue clothing looked in the gritty central streets or didn't much care. Even in the darkest of places people loved to see beauty and even with her scars she was indeed beautiful. She asked only that she be allowed to dance, and dance her way, then leave when the wind pulled at her as she had in any other city.

Kiya shivered when Michael looked at him, and slowly the nekojin got to his feet, releasing the hold he had on his own tail. It twitched a bit and his ears flicked, every single hint or trace of playfulness was completely gone in the neko. Who cared about fake appearances anyway? He kept his eyes on Michael and when the red head advanced towards Syd, he nearly, almost intervened. He had to stop himself. He wasn't a hero, and though stronger than he looked, he certainly wasn't strong enough to win a fight with Michael unless he got extremely lucky.

Kiya looked exhausted, physically and emotionally. This was not how he had imagined spending his evening or night. Another shiver slid over his body and he shook his head slightly. He waved a hand at the portal dismissively. "Just close that thing already, and go fix the bathroom. I need a hot bath." He sounded so tired and he was sure his bruises were more sore now than when they were happening. Kiya moved to stand closer to Kala, his gaze jumping back to Michael warily.

Exavier paused, as the man moved in front of him. Droid? No, he was no ordinary droid or anything like that. He wasn't quite sure fully what he was, but he knew it was more then just that. He watched the man move away from him and agree to stay. He was an odd one, but it made his curiosity perk up again. He wanted to learn more about the man, there was something familiar, odd and different about him. He moved away from the door, and slightly stepped towards him, before deciding it was best to keep his distance for now. He made his way back to his semi corner area. He did not need normal sleep like other beings did, but it would be a good idea to rest his body and allow things to settle within his mind and his power to recharge. He sat against the wall, and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath, even though he did not need it. He blocked out anything in his mind, and focused on the trapped memories inside of his head. He wondered if he should try unlocking them, but he was not so sure he wanted to find out what was hidden inside.

Alek turned his head, blinking up at the woman as he absently scanned her. And her rambunctiously distrusting canine what was that a wolf? Those things were rare nowadays. And it would appear the dear woman was blind by the way the readouts were coming through. No nerve function at her sockets. At all. "Oh my I'm terribly sorry, madame," he said, smiling civilly. He accepted her hand was on his feet within a few moments. "Thank you. Also, would you mind telling me where I am? My positioning system seems to be on the fritz at the moment..." He didn't bother hiding his nature. Not only did he find it unnecessary, but it was illegal for his kind. Droids and AI had little to no rights in this city.
