"Naer, dear sweet naer..... Shouldn't you be more concerned about him? Go bother him and leave me alone. Unless you want to spend the night entertaining me instead." Gisa responded as she glanced up at ark, layering her voice with suggestion to imply naer normally entertained her during the night. She wasn't really trying to make the dark elf jealous really, she just wanted him to be angry with her. This whole pitying thing was getting on her nerves. She'd rather he slug her, in fact she half hoped he might. She'd never pretended to be a particularly wonderful person, in fact she spent most of her time making sure she seemed callous and shallow or simply downright incomprehensible as a person, but never had she found herself feeling so down right.....low. Then again she'd never let herself be blinded enough to make such a foolish mistake either, but this time lord had sh ever.
It was too late to make Naer hate her, if he could hate anyone at all which she was seriously beginning to doubt, so what she had done become nothing but cruelty. All her plans to heal him then return him to some wild elves she knew who would care nothing for his outcast status and just accept him while prancing about the forest with him were undone. Naer would never let her go.... she'd felt it when he'd clutched to her so tightly. She was truely a 'kept' demon now....

"Grow up, and stop being so damn blind! You love him, and he needs you, so stop denying it. Or so help me, I'll do something horrible.." Anger flaring out, he did nothing to harm her, mostly because he knew now of the truth behind the contract. Instead Arkerril held Gisa's arm tightly as he reached out to unlock the door to the room he shared with Soph. He'd been planning on sleeping on the couch as usual, but that didn't seem like it would be happening with Gisa to deal with. "As for that mask of yours, by the gods let it fall, it's not like I haven't seen you without it before."
Sophronia couldn't believe her ears as she helped drag Gisa along. She might have heard Arkerril angry before, but never in such a selfless way. He could be rather selfish but now ... She knew how deeply he loved the sun elf, and here he was pushing another into accepting her own feelings for the pale skinned man. With a heave, she helped pushed Gisa onto the bed and quickly slipped a blanket over her. "You're staying right there missy, you're in no state to be arguing either." That being said, she glanced to Arkerril. Seeing that he moved to sit upon the bed while Sophronia went to put some water to boil over a lantern they kept for that purpose. She was making tea, and the moment it was done, she brought the drink to Gisa and forced it into her hands. She looked to the blue haired woman expectantly, and rather sternly at that. The half-demon would drink the soothing liquid, even if Soph had to force her to do so!

"Something Horrible? Isn't that by your definition Me?" She responded to Ark rather passively, still playing with the delicate butterfly in her hands. It's wings looked so frail, so carefully formed.... It was the kind of thing she'd normally make or get out of boredom only to give to naer because he didn't want her to throw it away or break it. She'd already broken Naer so what difference did this make? She made a sound of disgust as she was pushed into bed and then tossed the glass butterfly towards a trash can with enough force to make it break on landing. She frowned as she watched it fly through the air and blinked in thought.
"I seem drunk..... I can't be drunk on human alcohol...." She muttered more to herself then to the other two. She sniffed the glove of her hand that had shattered the glass earlier, ignoring if the butterfly landed or was caught. Demon brandy.... of course knowing Lia they'd have something to get every species drunk of their ass and with gisa's high metabolism that kept her blood so warm it had been absorbed by her system before she realized it. She made a face of understanding then and nodded, muttering 'of course... a bartender who actually knows what he's doing for once....' to herself. She didn't particularly like being drunk. She glanced at the tea, sighing softly. Depending on the herbs involved it could remain too pure easily.
"...... Why did I bring him here? You asked me that..... How long do you think it'd take places like this to kill him? I'm betting fifty years at best? Though where I'm suppose to take him when half demons are not allowed near most elf or proper communities I don't know..... Still My enemies might kill him first if he's lucky, though he is pretty enough they may prefer him as a sex slave over a meal. He's too innocent, too weak...But of course the only person who would love to steal him away and take care of him couldn't seduce a rock" She responded to ark darkly as she scowled at the tea if glaring at it would make it go away. She didn't particularly seem interested in denying her feelings for Naer, merely pointing out that they destroyed any chance for a future Naer may have had.

Sophronia caught the butterfly mid-air and put it aside carefully before returning her attention to the pair on the bed with an exasperated sigh. Moving forward she grabbed Arkerril's arm and shoved him out of the room over his arguments. "You go find that elf and take care of him, and I'll take care of this one here." Arkerril sighed to himself but knew better to argue with Soph when she was in such a mood. He waited about until she'd plucked the key to Gisa's room from the half-demon, and shoved it into his hand, before walking away.
He looked carefully at each room, then sighed softly as he arrived at the right one. Arkerril slipped inside carefully and settled down upon a chair so he wouldn't disturb the elf's sleep. He would simply watch in silence and try to figure out what exactly it was he was there to do.
Soph nodded to herself as he left, then turned to Gisa. "The tea won't kill you. It's got rose hips and honey in it, and the water's from a stream." She moved to sit down upon the bed, and reached out to pat the other woman's arm. "Now about this elf you and Ark are so hung up on... Have you ever actually asked him what he thinks about all of this? No matter how innocent and weak, I'm sure he has his own opinion about things." Sophronia found herself laughing a bit as she remembered the last words Gisa had spoken. "So far as Ark goes, you have him pegged, but he has a good heart underneath it all."

"Leave Naer alone, He's sleeping..." Gisa pouted. She seemed to be debating trusting herself to go stop him. She stared at the tea, not really seeing it to much. There was a good thing about her metabolism and drunkedness, her hang overs were about a half hour long. There was also a bad thing..... she got very drunk very quickly. She blinked at the tea, not really saying anything until finally remarking about the rest.
"Naer's dumb.... even he knows he is dumb and shouldn't make decisions....." She said simply as she gazed at the tea. She sighed softly, deciding that maybe ark wouldn't wake him. She frowned a moment as she inwardly wondered if she should drink the tea. She absently tried to dip her pinky in the tea and found no singed skin in response so drank the tea as she tried to push away the feeling of sleepiness she was getting from drunkedness. She blinked a moment as she tried to focus her eyes on the quickly empty cup.
"Naer would follow someone he loved into hell.... that's why I wanted him to follow ark. Two lost little puppies weren't suppose to be so much trouble" She muttered to herself. She frowned again as she dropped the cup, her hands a little shaky as she gazed downward. She muttered something about not liking being drunk and put her hands down, just sitting there a moment and appearing rather like a statue. To much liquid.....She turned and quickly shoved soph away so she could make it ot the bathroom where soon the contents of her stomach were emptied. She soon had her own blood spilled in the sink so she could wash her mouth without getting ill......again

"How does anyone know they can make decisions, unless they're given the chance?" Those were the last words the witch spoke before being shoved aside. With a roll of her eyes, she followed Gisa. Though she wrinkled her nose in disgust at the blood, she said nothing about it because she assumed there was a reason for the half-demon's actions. Instead she stood beside Gisa and reached out to pull the woman's blue hair away from her face. "I don't know the story between the three of you, but it seems to me you all need to take a step back and talk to each other to find out what's really going on." Everyone seemed so very confused, and they weren't actually talking to each other about anything!
She fell into silence as she used her free hand to rub Gisa's back comfortingly, or at least tried to. "But that doesn't really matter now, what you need to do is calm down and get some rest." And she would do what she could to see that happen. Sophronia hated to admit it, but she was a fixer, and she so very much wanted to help these three people figure out their problems, but she didn't know nearly enough.

"Naer was.... He chose to make a contract with a strange demon he never spoke to before....I'm that demon. It was either make a deal or watch him die in his half suicidal efforts to hurt himself after he was exiled. That's the story, that's it. And now the idiot's falling for me.... Not for ark who could lead him to forests and elves and happiness.... No the demon he asks to punish and torture him now and then." She muttered as she continued to wash out her mouth. She then seemed to rock back and forth a little as if she was going to fall over. She closed her eyes a moment before she took a deep breath and frowned....
"I think I should sleep.... But in my room, I can't sleep with anyone but Naer in the room and if we didn't have a contract probably not him either." She admitted quietly. She couldn't sleep with other people in the room, it put her on the edge of a panic attack and brought back bad memories. She closed her eyes a moment and sighed, but shook her head as if to clear it. She would normally have worried about a witch playing with her hair but her brain was already half asleep.
"I don't like strangers..... then again I don't particularly like me right now, Naer shouldn't either..." She then turned and would simply wander out of the room and back to her own. She tried to find her key and when she couldn't as ark had it she would simply use her power over metal to open it. She then fell into her own bed and seemed to fall unconscious. She didn't seem to notice ark was there save for the fact that she seemed to shudder and whimper ever few moments unless he left.

Sophronia would have said something, but the woman was already stumbling away. The young witch followed to make sure there were no mishaps along the way, and when Gisa collapsed into the bed, she found a blanket and tucked it over the half-demon carefully. Catching sight of Ark, she reached out with a look that brooked no arguments, and pulled him along behind her until they were both back in their own room. She changed and prepared herself for bed, slipping under the covers with a small sigh at the current situation. Arkerril didn't bother with a change of clothes, but instead settled down in a chair beside the bed with his head bobbing up and down until he too fell asleep, head pillowed upon the bed and butt still on the chair with the rest of him spread between in an awkward way.

Lillian walked in and took a seat at the nearest bar stool, thinking of the long day that she had had. She was tired, sore and ready for a long nap. But before that she needed a drink.
---------- Post added 01-29-2013 at 01:31 PM ----------
After sitting for a few minutes, she decided to get up and get a Shirley Temple. It wasn't a harsh drink but something she could taste the flavor in. After sitting back down she laid her head on the counter for a minute to try to ease her headache with the cool of the marble. She took a small sip of her drink and started to look through her purse for her cell phone after hearing it chime.

Naer was rather undisturbed by all the things that did happen around him. He moved once when Gisa gave him her pillow, he clutched it tightly and nuzzled it gently. Getting emotional usually ended up exhausting the sun elf, and so it really shouldn't be a surprise that almost nothing would or could disturb his sleep. When Arkerril entered the room, Naer just rolled over and hugged the pillow tighter. His sleep was deep, dreamless and much needed. When Gisa finally made her way to her bed, Naer was still asleep, remaining undisturbed and rather comfortable.

((Okay since all but one character is pretty much asleep it's time to fast forward to morning everyone.))
Gisa slept more peacefully with Arkerriel gone but still tossed and turned the closer it got to morning. For once gisa did not wake with the sun but simply slept until noon, sleeping off the majority of the hangover she would have otherwise encountered. The sapphire haired demon would wake slowly, gazing at the roof as she recalled the events of the night before. She frowned softly, guilt still laying into her sharper then a knife.
She had become a rather pathetic demoness, or rather half demoness, she decided absently. That one innocent heart could break hers so easily... yet he had held her pillow for dear life even as she tried so hard to hurt him. She closed her eyes and sighed, laying a hand over her forehead. What was she going to do now? Clearly he wouldn't hate her, only himself. How could he hate someone so pure yet not hate her? Lord this was giving her a headache...... either that or the alcohol.
Lia had just been locking up for the night when she noticed a woman at the bar, Lillian. She sighed and placed a key next to her before asking her trusty bartender to help the woman up to her room if needed. With that she would then take Nenet to the room she'd picked out for her before heading to her own and falling into bed. Today had been unexpectedly tiring and she was precisely sure why.... Oh well. The fay born shrugged it off and soon was sleeping away until mornings light. As the sun peaked over the horizon she would head to the kitchen to get breakfast ready for everyone.
V awoke with the morning sun, the change in air pressure caused miniscule but enough to wake any storm elf. She yawned softly and soon headed downstairs only to smell something burning. She ran to the kitchen to discover Lia had found a book she'd misplaced and wasn't paying attention to the eggs. She sighed and shooed the small woman into the dinning room before looking at the mess that was suppose to be their breakfast. Muttering a soft word that meant no in her native tongue she threw away the food and began to prepare it herself.
She would make a light, salad like meal with a sliver of meat on the side. Fruit wrapped in a caramel like substance and nuts would be the desert. She had not cooked for others in some time but at home it had been her duty so she was good at it. She hummed lightly as she worked, actually rather happy to be needed for once.

Naer had slept so wonderfully, and he had awoken with the sun. Feeling refreshed and revitalized. When he had first woken, he gently placed Gisa's pillow on the bed next to her and watched her sleep for a few moments with a slight frown on his lips. Things would be alright, lightly he touched the bracelet on his wrist before turning from her and moving to the window. He would stand there and stare out of it for a long time, not really seeing the things on the other side but merely thinking.
When he heard Gisa move, Naer turned to look at her for a moment, it was a little odd that she hadn't been up before him. She was probably just tired, from purifying the forest. The sun elf watched her for a few moments longer, pulling his long hair over his shoulder and braiding it into a single long braid. Something had to be said, or done, but once his hair was braided, Naer turned his nose up at Gisa and strode from the room. He would just ignore her until she apologized for being crazy. Simple.
Doubtful things would be quite that easy Naer headed down stairs to find something to eat.

Gisa glanced up as he neared her bed, her gaze empty as she expected something... anything... except for what he did. She watched him walk out of the room with raised eyebrows and then proceeded to laugh. Well that managed to take care of her guilt pretty effectively. He was giving her the silent treatment? What were they? ten? She shook her head and laid back in the bed a moment. No.... it was sympathy, that was it. She could not love this manboy, she told herself, her pride demanding it be so. She shook her head and slowly proceeded to get up and prepare herself a bath with some of her oils she created to counteract the negative effects the water could have on her. She then simply soaked, and breathed in the fragrance with little emotion or thought for about a half an hour.
Once she felt clean and her head no longer hurt she would get out of the tub. She dressed herself and drained the tub before she finally headed downstairs, absently wondering if Naer was pouting yet. She chuckled and shook her head at the thought. It was the alcohol that had made her think he'd acted princely the other day or that she liked him at all as more then a friend. There was no other logical explanation... He was still the child he always was and her a mere baby sitter. She nodded in satisfaction and headed to grab her own breakfast. If naer wanted to go off and pout by himself that was alright.

Naer had grabbed some fruit and a glass of water as his breakfast, and he had sat munching on the fruit and sipping at the water. Though he was done with the fruit and water by the time Gisa made her way down. Naer wasn't pouting, not really. He was sitting a little straighter than normal, not quite as slumped over as usual. When Gisa did finally make her way down, he stood, giving her an almost callous glance before he walked past her. Moving with sure and confident steps, though he was only going to the library, to browse through that history book he had found earlier.
Naer had to be stronger, his guilt kept him weak, he knew that. Still it was hard to be strong, but if Gisa wanted to act like she had last night, then he would have to be stronger to bear the pain of it. He would not buckle easily. At least, these were the things that he had been telling himself over and over this morning. Part of that not buckling easily, was waiting her out. Ignore her, avoid her, until she made the first move.

Gisa raised an eyebrow at the glance but again just shrugged and continued to go to the bar. There she sat to get her breakfast, which was most certainly an improvement over Lia's, without particularly thinking about Naer's actions. Once she started to eat she gazed up at the roof in thought, absently wondering if he was going to be stubborn. Still, it did show he was becoming more of prince figure this morning... maybe she hadn't imagined that part. Oh well, she had no reason to do anything to stop him from trying to get distance, that had been her whole intention. If it had simply made pride instead of pain kick in that was all the better for his healing so she had nothing to regret.
"Oh well." she said simply to herself as she opened her mother's book of poetry to feel better and simply ate. She said nothing to anyone, not really seeing a reason too. Naer was staying distant, maybe ark would get what he wanted. She half smiled at the thought but said nothing more. She simply read and lost herself in her mother's words, letting the elf do research alone as she focused simply on building the wall he was so easily providing.

Naer settled himself down in a comfortable corner of the library, surrounded by a few other books he had managed to find that were written in elven. First though was the history book he had found the previous day. Gently he opened it to a page and began to read. Though he had soon completely lost focus on his reading, his thoughts wondering instead of staying on track. His thoughts of course turned to Gisa and how she most likely would enjoy his silent treatment of her, but Naer didn't care. He was trying to prove something, perhaps to himself or perhaps to Gisa, though he seriously doubted any progress would be made. Though the way he was feeling, even refreshed from a good sleep, Naer honestly did not want to be around anyone at all. He shook his head slightly to pull his thoughts back on track and dove into the words of the book once more.

The silence was strange but she dismissed it with a 'it's for the best' as she continued to read. She would wait until she was finished with her meal before she ordered a glass of fruitjuice. Absently she noted that the blue elf was playing chef.... well that explained why the food was actually good. She was sure that Lia was good with potions and magic but she could not cook to save her life. If Gisa had not eaten food in hell she may have actually not wanted to eat at all when that woman cooked. This elf, however, was actually pretty good....
She shrugged and put her book away, deciding to do some more research. She glanced at Naer but simply shrugged and began looking for books on necromancy and legends. She absently wondered if he would leave again but saw no reason to disturb the silence. The step of pushing him away seemed to have succeeded so now it was time to simply continue on with seeking the mage. If she could at least find which books he vandalized it would let her know what to look for..
You know, elf history won't help us much" She said in her usual taunting tones, mocking him slightly. It would keep him thinking she hated him and keep him distant more then likely she figured. It almost hurt her to say it, but it would work. She didn't even look up from her book, however, not really expecting a reaction. She figured he would most likely just leave the room to pout or say something about how he was a good pet again. It'd be more guilt for her but she didn't care too much.

If Naer was aware that Gisa entered the room, he made no indication. He didn't look up, he didn't stop reading. His only movement was to turn the page. Of course he wasn't really doing research, this book was just history and the other books he had picked up he was sure wouldn't be much help. He had only picked them up because they were written in elven. One of the books he had taken was old legends, old faery tales, or something of that sort, he planned on starting on that book once he was done with the history book.
When Gisa did speak, he barely even glanced at her, he did contemplate throwing a book at her head. Such a violent thought, it was why he was avoiding everyone. Naer was in a bad mood. "When I want your input about something, I'll give it to you." Naer's voice was cold. Cold and emotionless. Still cruelty and viciousness were not things he was good at. Being mean and cold, it was not something that came naturally to him but the way he had spoken, it would be hard to believe something like that wasn't normally easy for the sun elf. His eyes were on the book and once more he thought of throwing one at her head.

She instantly felt herself grow cold and as her eyes rode she looked at him much as she would a dead thing. He not only ordered her but spoke her like she was a slave in his kingdom. Perhaps princes' really were the same on the earthly plain as the demonic one after all. She found herself on her feet, a flicker of fire surrounding her fingernails and flickering at the base of her hair. She had loved him for his kindness, and yet now she looked at him with pure hate and emptiness. Any hurt she may have felt she buried quickly as she put her hands on the desk with a loud crack of wood.
"You will give me nothing, my prince, except your life if you ever speak to me that way again. I am not some slave in your kingdom you can order about like a toy. I will not be told what to think or what to do." She said darkly and for a moment it seemed as if she would cross the space between them and snap his neck. Coils of anger shot through her and the red specks briefly flickered over her eyes. She felt herself almost lose herself in the darkness as the temperature in the room continued to rise and this time he really was staring at the wild demon within as well as the angry wounded slave child who knew no words for the horrors her masters unleashed on her. Still, she managed to keep herself calm enough to simply walk out of the room and out doors, not giving him another glance as her claws escaped and begged for blood.
Once she was outside a fireball leapt from her hand and soon put itself out in the dirt as she stood behind the Inn. She felt only hatred, only anger, and a little bit of betrayal and shock. He really was just like them... those who confused strength with cruelty. Yet she had bound herself to him... it would serve him right to ring his little neck. Let him get his heart broken, she found herself saying, who gives a damn. He would give the demon her own input? Her own thought? She would fry him alive first. Yes it would cause her great pain, but seeing him turn into one of them would hurt so much more.

Naer had shrugged, glancing up at her rather disinterestedly when she spoke. "Of course." He spoke the words with a patronizing tone, and he waved a hand as if to dismiss her and her words. The sun elf being in a bad mood was not something that happened easily or often, certainly he was often sad and depressed, but very rarely was he ever in a bad mood. Anger had gripped his pure, kind heart, so he said things borne of that foul emotions and at the moment cared little for how it might affect someone. Later though, for a certainty, once he regained himself and was no longer lost in the bad mood he would most likely feel bad for being such a mean creature. Right now though, he hardly cared. Well, he cared enough to try and keep himself away from everyone else, and things would have been fine, if Gisa hadn't spoken to him. Always taunting and teasing. He snorted lightly and continued to read.

Gisa glared into the ground, feeling anger still coiling through her like a snake. Another arrogant fool. She found herself feeling nothing within a few moments and she simply took a breath. Suddenly she didn't care if he found the mage or anything else... it was his journey. She could kill him or break the contract, then just kill the mage herself. She saw little reason it involved her any longer....She may have cared more but she found a shadow on the ground wriggling and growing. Another demon... she must have dropped her shield.... She stepped back and waited, only to grip the demon that had appeared by the throat with one hand and pull his beating heart from his chest. She watched the body disintegrate in fire and then simply sighed. She would not be a child... She returned to the room and said only one thing, just one.
"The contract is voided by your actions, I will remove my mark momentarily." She said simply as she turned and headed towards their room. She intended to pack and then slice the bit of flesh from his back, there by nulling the contract. She soon had her things packed and then returned ot the library with her knife in her hand. She would stare at him with no emotion before she spoke again. "With your cooperation or not, I really don't care."

Naer was reading one of the other elven books, the history book set aside, when Gisa returned. When she spoke, he didn't look up at her, he did close the book, set it aside and stand. When she came back into the room she would find him standing. He matched her emotionless eyes with his own. Those violet eyes with their gold flecks were more of a grey color, the gold flecks diminished greatly, and his stare was cold. Emotionless and cold. His actions, she had said. His actions when he had done nothing wrong, if anything such a thing should have been void last night by her actions.
Naer's body was tense, and he ran his fingers over the bracelet gently. "No. Not by my actions, by yours and your words. I will not take the blame for that which is not my fault. You have hardened my heart, so do not presume to tell me this is my fault by way of my actions. I have done nothing, I have not treated you cruelly, but I can. Contract or not. I can be cruel to you. Is that what you desire? To take a kind heart and turn it cruel, like a demon's?" He stood confident, his eyes on her. Eyes that could almost be described as dead.
"How many times must the things I love fall from my grasp? How many times do you think such a thing will happen before a heart is permanently broken? You wouldn't know, would you, because you have no heart."

"So you do hate me..... Perhaps as you should. Still if your heart is so hardened you no longer need me and the contract is voided isn't it? After all I have no heart so what difference does it make?" She responded almost sarcastically, her tone cold as she gazed at him. So he did think she had no heart, his innocence had fallen. Guilt wrinkled through her but at least ark would have what he wanted. Naer would likely go to him...... who else could he go to?
"Love, how people like to bandy about that word with no true idea what it means..." She added more to herself as she continued to approach him. She saw no reason to keep the contract intact. She had sought to protect the innocence in him, and it seemed she was wrong to think he needed protecting. He had found his strength, by hating her. Perhaps she should have been happy but she could feel only emptiness. She wanted to hate him in return but she felt only emptiness.

"Then fall from my grasp, Gisa, like all other things I have loved and held dearly. Fall and slip beyond my reach, but I have not yet begun to hate you. Even with a hardened heart, hatred does not come easy for me, yet I find that violence and cruelty born of anger seem to be nearly at my fingertips." Naer frowned, but he didn't waver. His eyes remained cold and nearly dead. "My heart is hardened, but I still need someone. I do not like this. I do not like saying mean things, I do not like feeling cold, unattached, emotionless. I would rather be dead than go through life with a hardened heart." Anger had given him strength, cold anger. It was not the kind of strength he wanted, it was an empty strength. He said nothing of her remark about love, only stood straight with his arms out slightly at his sides and his head held up. As if welcoming her to either take his life, or take that bit of flesh. Naer would much prefer it if she took his life right now. He wasn't sure he could stop this transformation he was going through, this change that the anger had awoken in him. He didn't like it one bit.

"Don't say you love me, Don't you dare say such a thing. A few cold words about me not letting myself care about anyone and the sight of my demon nature and you turned on me as easily as anyone else. You don't even know me. Don't you dare try to say such a thing...You aren't allowed to love me." Gisa nearly hissed as she recoiled from him as if he had hit her. She felt a confusion in her own untamed heart she had never felt before. She felt herself shake, her hand gripping the blade hilt she held so hard that drips of blood fell to the ground in spots of silver. She bit her lip as she gazed at the ground, uncertain. She wanted to flee but she wanted to stay... she didn't know how to react to the confession as he treated her so differently from himself.
"You don't know what love is or a hardened heart. You feel angry, You feel alive, you feel a right to yourself for the first time and you can't handle it. A child throwing a tantrum.....all because I stopped being your nursemaid and showed you reality. I do everything for you and the one time I don't act as you desire you turn on me. That is love to you?" She hissed, her heart heavy with all the masks and all the pushing against her own heart. She pressed back into the wall when she found herself no escape and she turned as if to leave the room.
"You are a fool...." She added, her voice quieting to a whisper. She closed her eyes a moment, wanting to stab him but still part of her wanting to save him. He blamed her for everything, as he was meant to, but she could not find happiness in her. She could find no quiet voice or plan. She felt lost. She made him say mean things? She made him this way? She was use to Ark blaming her for everything that happened but for some reason this time it hurt coming from naer....
"You even would have me kill you, because that is easier for you! Just as I am to kill the mage, because your heart would be less burdened. What do you think a journey to see a man dead brings? But what does it matter, I am just another demon, another heartless demon." She said quietly, feeling the weight of it drain her even as she stood. It was his own type of selfishness, it was still her responsibility... her choice. Every word he uttered was her fault, always her fault. She was growing so tired, so tired of the weight of that for the first time in centuries it seemed almost too much to stand. What did he want from her? He said he would rather be dead then exist with a hardened heart... what did he expect this journey to bring him?
