Galebrind, aware that Jack was behind him, spotted a good looking whitetail buck, rather large, standing in the field below them. With a baring of his teeth that could only be a draconian smile, he began to circle. When he was sure the buck didn't notice him, he folded his wings in and began a sharp nosedive. He extended his back claws and, just as he was about to hit the ground, grabbed the buck and lifted sharply upward. The buck, which he had expertly grabbed by the back and throat, was already dead, and had probably felt no pain. Rising back up to where Jack was, Gale looked at the older dragon. "If this one was here, that means there should be more very close. We'd have to look for them, but I suppose that's what hunting is all about."

The small white dragon had flinched, giving a silent cry when she had seen the other dragon descend and take the buck that she had been after. Unable to say anything or doing anything towards the larger dragons. She just turned with a flick of her tail before crawling away from them, she knew she couldn't handle the bigger dragons which is why she avoided them in the first place. She looked up at the sky once more, clearly worry was written on her face before she stood on her hind legs so that she could take off once more. Her scales glinted in the sunlight as she circled around a bit, looking at the two of them with her pink eyes. She soon darted below them as she went pass, she looked back up at them, giving a whistle so high pitched that only sensitive ears like dogs could hear it. It wasn't long before she landed on the ground by a human, whom she she furiously begin to draw pictures for to explain to him what had happen to her, well more like what she had saw.

Finx grew bored and went to get Sky "Come on Sky I want to get some of my cloths." she carefully but on the saddle and climbed on she didn't tell anyone she was going figuring she would get back before she was missed. "GO!" she yelped slightly as Sky took off and banked towards her old home.

While Raven had continued to work with one of the monitors to get it back working, he had paid no mind or attention to what Finx or Rosemary had been doing in the room as well. It had seemed as though the monitors around the room were quite out of date but as well as being slightly damaged. There was no doubt, this was going to be time consuming for the black haired male. Sighing silently to himself while he continued to work with his hands on fixing the machine, the first thing he had ended up hearing were the footsteps of one of the two females leaving the room. Shifting his gaze over toward the side to see who had left, it was kind of obvious to find out that it was Finx since Rosemary was the only other left in the room now; other than himself. Without so much as a word, he had returned back to working on fixing the monitors until he had heard what sounded like a male voice over one of the other monitors. Even though the voice had spoken about some kind of base being destroyed; leaving only several survivors that had headed to some kind of inn. Raven had remained silent while he continued to work on the other machines. "So..you going to go there and recruit more members?" He asked Rosemary even though he hadn't bothered to turn and look at her.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Throughout the entire time the large black dragon had flown throughout the endless sky to follow right behind Galebrind; Jack had been directing his large crimson like golden eyes on the surroundings of the floor. He had kept trying to see if he would be able to spot out a prey of some kind that he could simply just swoop down and grab one as his food. It wasn't too long while the two had continued to fly throughout the sky did a large buck come into view. Galebrind hadn't seemed to waste anytime to be the first one to go down and take care of this animal as his own prey. Once he had flown back into the sky and stated that there were probably more around since this one was all alone, Jack only tilted his large head before returning his sights down to the grassy floor right below the two large dragons. He had shifted his gaze left and right to see if he could find a pack of the bucks nearby so that he would be able to get his own food. During his time while he searched for a prey, his sights had ended up landing upon some kind of quick and small white creature that roamed down below the two larger dragons. Curious as to what it had been, Jack only darted his gaze back over to Galebrind for a moment. "Theres something down there...it was small and white. I dont think it was a buck or anything..im going to check it out. In case its someone trying to spy on us." He spoke before he had immediately swooped down toward the ground with both of his wings opening widely as he neared the ground for a more gentle and smooth landing. Once standing upon all fours on the grassy floor, the last thing Jack had thought of seeing was a male human and a smaller white dragon being right by his side. "Who're you human? What are you doing here?" The large black dragon demanded an answer, his tone as cold as can be as he normally spoke that way to any other human he didn't trust.
For once Finx was enjoying her flight taking the long way home and quickly packing her stuff. Suddenly a dragon appeared in the sky and started to breath fire on the village catching her house on fire with her still inside. She ran out and launched herself onto Sky who took off after the dragon. The dragon sensed them and spun to attack them "It's going to kill us." Finx said gripping onto Sky who banked out of the way. Finx knew this was bad Sky was still small in size and couldn't blast as much air as bigger dragons. She yelped as Sky tried her best to stop the dragon but the other dragon slammed into Sky with such force that Finx was knocked free into the air where she dropped like a rock "MOTHER!" Sky screeched.
((Thank you! Damn, Andraus, you know Wolfie needs things put very plainly!))
Rosemary stared at the screen for a moment, her mind digesting what she was seeing. She started slightly when the male asked if she was going to the base to recruit. She had momentarily forgotten his presence, he had been so quiet. She glanced over at him and saw that he hadn't even looked up from his work. "Yes, probably. I'm not sure how effective I'll be at persuading Forsworn, but it's worth a try. At least they're already familiar with dragons." She said, staying optimistic. "I'll take Gale right away. You can stay here if you want, make yourself at home or do whatever." She told him, and started out the door. She hoped she had made it clear that he could come along if he wanted to. She wanted all of her recruits to feel like family and not just guests.
Gale circled around with Jack, landing near the small white dragon that he had spotted. "Let's not be unfriendly. They could be possible recruits." He said. It was just at that moment when he spotted, far away, a blast of fire. It came from the direction of the village where they had found Finx and Sky. Galebrind growled. "Jack, I'll have to ask you to deal with this on your own. Hopefully, I will return quickly." He said, leaping into the sky and flying away. He swooped back to the mountain base first, and found Rosemary out on a ledge waiting for him. Without hesitation, he swooped by and she jumped onto his back, and they were off. "The village?" Gale asked.
Rosemary settled onto Gale's back. "Right.We'll help out there, maybe let people see that there are Dragonriders around, and then we need to head to a wasted Forsworn base." She called over the wind. She and gale flew at top speed, reaching the village in minutes. They got there just in time to see Finx fall.
Rosemary didn't even have to direct him. Gale swerved and dove, managing to fly directly under the falling female so that she landed on his back behind Rosemary. "I'm going to bring you down, stay on the ground and under cover!" He called to Finx. He brought them close to the ground, where Rosemary quickly helped the other woman to the ground. Once they were sure that she was safely on her feet, Gale swept upwards again with a mighty roar. Under Rosemary's direction, he attacked the intruding dragon with first fire and then claws.
Getting herself balanced, Rosemary stood up on Gale's back and took out her swords. As Gale swooped towards the dragon again, she struck at it's wings, aiming to bring it down. Her position had the added bonus of making sure that the townspeople could see her working with Gale. The point was to get the message across: the Dragonriders were back, and already fighting for peace.
Even once Rosemary had left the room where the monitors were; the black haired swordsman had kept silent and continued to work on the screens within the room. Each one was badly damaged as he traveled around the small room to take a look at each one of the different monitors and check if they all had the same problem or if each one had a separate problem that made it stop working. In the end, Raven had realized that each one of the monitors had their own problem going onto why they didn't work. This was going to be much more difficult than he had thought it was going to be, with each having separate problems; that would mean he would have to figure out several different parts that he would need to fix on each one. With a deep sigh escaping from his lips, he had scratched the back of his head lightly with his claw-like hand. His choice was to now either stay here and work on the machines or go around the hideout to see if he could figure out anything to do or possibly follow Rosemary to go see how the recruiting was going on. Traveling up to the main area of the hideout from earlier, he had found himself alone within the hideout. Turning his head left and right, he hadn't heard Jack anywhere within the rooms; he must've been out getting food for himself. That pretty much forced Raven to have to stay at the hideout after-all. Exhaling one last sigh to himself, he turned his back to the room and began to travel quietly throughout the entire place to see if he would be able to figure out if there was anything to do at all around the hideout. The repairing of the machines could wait until later when he had much more energy within his body. While he traveled around the hideout, Raven had pulled down the sleeve that was revealing his metal claw-like arm and hand till it was once more hidden from sight.
Moving his claw-like hand in front of him, he tested out each one of his fingers slightly to make sure none of the metal within his hand or arm had rusted out yet and required him to make some repairs of his own. That was a slightly common thing that he had to do every once in a while. Every kind of metal had its own time limit till it gathered rust and required either to be replaced if not repaired. In Raven's case, he always prefered to repair it rather than replace it since the arm he used had been with him through quite a lot, so he wanted to keep the memories to remind him what he went through to get to where he was now.
((So what if happy understood it? Wolfie is not happydeath!! Wolfie is Wolfie! And you know, have known for quite some time, that Wolfie needs things spelled out for her sometimes!))
Rosemary and Galebrind were caught in a fierce battle with the offending dragon. It was bigger than Gale- most dragons were- but they were faster, and had more practice as a team. It wasn't long before they had driven the beast off, bleeding but not fatally wounded. They wanted peace, and killing any human or dragon was pretty much out of the question. They took one more swoop around the village to make sure everyone was safe. Still standing on Gale's back, Rosemary made sure the people could see and hear her. "Listen up! My name is Rosemary, and this dragon is my partner, Galebrind! We're here to show you all that coexistence between humans and dragons is possible! The Dragonriders have returned, and we seek to bring an end to this long suffered war! Spread the word, let everyone know, the Dragonriders are going to bring peace to this world!" She called out. With that message delivered, the pair flew off to see to Finx and Sky. They landed and Rosemary jumped down. "Are you two okay? We were on our way to seek out more recruits when we saw that dragon attacking." Rosemary said.
Rosemary's expression softened. I apologize. I never expected your first day to be like this. The unfortunate truth is that things like this will continue to happen until someone stops it all. Miss Finx, if you and Sky feel that you would rather not stay on with us, then we will fully support you.Just know that you will always have a home with the Dragonriders." She said.
Gale, meanwhile, was checking Sky over to see how badly the younger dragon was wounded. "I think you'll be okay, but you should get your wounds cleaned. You're young, so you should heal quickly." He said calmly.
(I'll just put this as a filler, just so I can get some posting done)
Rverya was at the bar, in the in. What was left of his group was sitting down at the table. Out of the 10 of them, only 5 had Dragons. Rverya's arm was completely wrapped in bandages, and He had almost 20 stitches in his head. He also had minor bone fractures in almost every corner of their body. The others had minor injuries, but nothing more.
Outside Synderion was tending to the other dragons. Being Wild-born, they had no idea about how to heal with small means. Being born inside a clan had it's privileges, and Synderion used this to aid the dragons. luckily, they would heal. Synderion's white body looked nearly red, with blood. He looked tired, beaten. He looked like he had just returned from war.
Rverya, walking outside, brought a bottle of Ember-brand wine. Pouring some for Synderion, he sat down next to the dragon, wincing. "This day has been one big hell-ride from the get-go........where should go now, Synderion? Connect with the Rest of the Forsworn in the Coast-lands? Tell them what happened?" he asked.
Synderion was quiet for a moment, then looked at his Partner. "I think we should join up with that ladies 'Dragon Riders'. "he said to his partner. He had been thinking about it for quite some time, and decided this would probably be the best course of action, if they were going to do anything.
Rverya looked ready to complain, but stopped. Thinking about it, with complete disdain, he realized the wisdom in Synderions word's : If they were ever going to find out who killed his men, and made them pay, they would need help. They could go to the Forsworn in the Coast-lands, but that would give them time to escape. If they were going to kill these bastards, they needed the help of the dragon riders.
Finx sighed "I made a promise so I'll stay a while." she stood. Sky nuzzled her side "It will be alright momma." Sky said letting her climb onto her back.
Cal and Clara stood looking at the village they had chosen to stay in "It looks empty." Clara said with a frown. "Yeah it does." Cal walked into the village looking around.
Rena felt two children enter the village that was near her home. The memeber of the village had fled from her since she was a witch.
Figuring for the time being, it wasn't looking as though Raven was going to be able to get anywhere to possibly find some more spare parts that he would be able to use for repairing anything else around the whole hideout, a deep exhaled sigh escaped from his lips. Slipping the blade against his waistband so that it would simply hang onto his waist, he used his free human-like hand to scratch the back of his head. Without Jack, he wasn't really able to get anywhere too far, not to mention if he were to leave that would end up making his dragon companion be unaware of where he went off to. Shrugging the thought off at the fact that there would be anything to do outside of the hideout for the time being, Raven had progressed his way around the rest of the hideout to explore and make sure he had all the different locations brought to an easy remembrance of where everything was.
It had only taken a matter of minutes for Raven to finally end up reaching the large inground lake that was spoken about earlier within the tour of the whole hideout. Staring down at the large crystal clear lake, the black-haired swordsman had taken the time to find a way to get down towards the actual lake itself; rather than staring at it from a distance. By the time he had finally reached the lake itself, the slightly cool breeze feeling of the lake had brushed against his coat and the skin of his face. Closing his eyes slowly, he had taken a seat down onto the shore of the lake as he removed the large coat from his body and simply placed it down next to him. His metal arm now completely revealed, he tested out his fingers lightly and couldn't help but remember the day he lost his arm; it was on the same day he had met and fought Jack. The fight may had costed him his left arm, but in the end he was able to gain a new friend. A small smile came across his lips at the thought when the two first battled one another before he extended both of his arms out behind him as he leaned backwards. Staring up at the ceiling; he simply waited for the sound of any of the other dragonriders to return from what they were doing, if not; listening to see if he could hear Jack return from what he was doing either.
Rosemary nodded, climbing back onto Gale's back. "All right. You two go ahead back to the base and get some food and rest. Gale and I will be back soon." She said. With a smile and a salute, she gave Gale the signal, and they set off. Flying quickly, it didn't take them long to reach the Forsworn base. They circled a few times to make sure the area was clear, and descended. "This place is a ghost town already..." Rosemary said, dismounting.
Gale nodded and looked around. He sniffed, trying to catch any fresh scents of population. "Are you sure we should be here? It could be dangerous." He said. He noticed the way Rosemary frowned, clearly agreeing with him, but she wasn't going anywhere. This cause was too important.
Synderion felt the brush of someone entering what was left of their territory, and took off, straining to do so. After maybe 15 minutes of flying, he landed/crashed/fell near Rosemary and Gale. "Agh.......What....are you doing here? Can't you see we have enough to worry about, without you poking at us....?" he asked, assuming they came so quick to gloat. He was tired, beaten, and exhausted, but if they were looking for a fight, they would have it.
A young teen girl wondered the scorched forest, looking for a small village to go to. She was a bit strange from must folks. People sometimes wore thick clothes so they wouldn't be hurt by the dragons, this girl was wearing clothes that would give her no protection at all. A tied up white shirt exposing her bikini top and a scarf wrapped around her covering her butt but exposed the front of her bikini bottoms. Long blonde hair flickered behind her as her flower and butterfly barrette was clasped to one side of her head.
The girl's name was Victoria Dero, she was from a long line for Dragon Riders. After all, many members of her family have been Dragon Riders. She was supposed to be one but her dragon could never find him or her. So, feeling as though was nothing but a disappointment, Victoria left her family and started wondering around. Using her water magic to keep her hydrated and hunting for food, Victoria managed to survive quite well. While walking she wondered into a tavern like place. She sighed softly as she walked into the old place.
She sat away from everyone, keeping to herself, watching however was acting. The hunters were being cocky as always, so this was no surprise when Victoria was suddenly looked upon by must of the guys. All because of what she was wearing. She closed her eyes and placed her head in her arms and rested on the table.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~
The sky was bright as usual but that was nothing new, it was sometimes like this but something was wrong. A large black mass would soon blacken the area. Loud thunderous sound of wings echoed into the reign. The metal scales on the dragon reflected the sun's rays from it as purple lightning scattered through the outer parts of this monstrous creature. After a while, he did a quick turn up towards the clouds but he was still a very large being. This creature's name was Odin, Odin Pendragon or his nickname, King of Dragons.
Odin's large blackish gray metal wings clapped loudly like thunder, he was larger than normal dragons and powerful. As he flew, he saw a place he can rest, a large area, big enough to hide him. He dove to the ground, with a thud, he collapsed his wings and laid down slowly. He curled his tail slowly, closing his eyes and slept. He was a large dragon, feared for his height and strength and he was lonely. He use to have a family who loved him and he cared for them. However that all changed when things went to Hell.
Odin's mate and child were killed by dragon hunters, his whole family were killed or died from starvation. Odin had become cold since then, he could take this pain. He wanted someone to end it but he trusted no one and he thought it would be better if he was just alone. However, he felt as though he was meant to be with someone, someone who wanted to help him. But he couldn't find the one he was looking for. From what he knew, he sensed it was a human, however he despised humans so why would he be with a human? Odin growled evilly, breathing lightly as he sleep. The air from his mouth caused the trees around him to shift back and forth, the leaves moving about as if there was a storm was coming.
