  • Robin pondered, and remembered 7 years ago. She said quietly, "My father was a criminal in heaven. I was 10 at the time. I don't remember the details, but he was to be executed. He fled to hell, I remember him telling me to hide. There was an army of angels outside our house door. He quickly picked me up and ran from the house. He hid me in a forest, walked about 10 paces away, and started an incantation. A circle of red light appeared around him. He said 'I'm going to the other side of the world' and left." She still remembered the incantation, and most of the process.

  • "What did you say?" Jewel asked. She had good hearing when she was vunerable, a bit like some sort of animal.

"How tainted are you? And I'm not talking sex tainted, I'm talking all round" She asked. She was more tainted than the devil and Belail in some ways, she never said she's be faithfull afterall. Jewel scratched her head and looked at Raphael, then Belial, then her sister.

"Amythest. You're a moron..." She said, almost looking like she might cry.

"I wouldn't cry for me Jewel." Ever other word was followed by a bloody cough. "Afterall, I abandoned you and Diamond in heaven. I led to the death of my sister, I caused your fall from grace and mother being taken and never found" Amythest was howling. Tears dripping from her face. Jewel knelt down and hugged her.

"Amythest....Don't worry about that now. We where sisters. I caused you all the be in trouble in the first place, mothers still alive and for now so are you" She was smiling warmly, she had to be, or at least she felt like she had to be.

"But Jewel!" She was howling even worse. "I Set you guys up, but it backfired. Lucifel found I didn't want you all dead and that i'd be happy for you to be alive. He tortured me. Then made me bring you all here, knowing your sister was your weakness. He's going to start planning a war on hell. He knows Lucifer is older, and your stronger than his brother, and he knows that he can kill you through mother...!" Amythest was gasping for air she sounded desparate, she was coughing up more blood by the minute. Jewels eyes grew wide at the news before she laughed.

"Lucifer is still strong. As is Belial. As am I. And hell as a whole, no matter how shabby and weak, is still hell. Havoc and curses if we must. We will not be defeated by heaven. but we will not destroy heaven either, because that would make us as bad as them." She sighed. "And if you haven't noticed, if you take the bad and the good, and make one more powerful than the other, the imbalance causes harm, to the one more poweful, and the one weaker. To make them both the same again" Jewel seemed to know what she was talking about, which seemed slightly strange to Raphael, who was listening intently.

"I'm very tainted. you know that" He said in a whisper. Raphael had killed, almost massaccred before. Like a genoice of his own kind because of something they did to him. And that was when he became the angel of healing, and was cursed for eternity, by never being able to fight again.

Amythest was still sobbing into jewels arm, she was already getting some of her sisters traits, of sobbing blood not tears, which wasn't exactly worrying, instead it was pleasing to the fallen.

Belial wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. She glanced down to see a black smear across her skin and a red rash radiating from it. The rash went up her arm into her sleeve, and when she ripped her shirt from her body she saw the rash was in the shape of a person.

Belial chuckled, then gaffawed till that escalated up into a desperate roar of laughter. "Brilliant, that man is an utter genius, I think Im in love all over again." she leaned against her bush, tears of laughter running down her face.

"Belial! What in Heaven's name is wrong with you?" Raphael shouted at her reaching for her wrist to jerk her up to meet his face. Belial was unresisting and still twitching with laughter. When she didnt answer immediately raphael shook her limp body like a ragdoll in the a thunderstorm.

"Oh its brilliant, simply fabulous." She cried. "Lucifel's army is at Hell's door."
Raphael jerked her again trying to shake Belial out of her madness.
"What are you talking about Belial its just us! Heaven's army is in Eden Lennifer and you shredded most of it."

Belial lifted her head to look Raphael in the eyes, she was in tears and those tears were black as night. "Hee hee hee, Lucifel doesnt need an angelic army to conquer Hell." She stood on her own her legs shaking as she pointed imperiously at Jewel's sister. "He sent a plague."

  • "Belial?" Jewels eyes grew wide. " A plague to curse. A plague to kill." Jewel recited. "The plague from heaven?! The one that he used to whipe out everyone that knew anything about him? That one? The one he used when we where just young?!" If it wasn't that one. Then Jewel had no hope.

Jewel ripped herself away from her sister. To see Belial. "I'm not smart enough to understand this sort of stuff, i'm only good at fighting and being a leader, as well as building. Belial?" She asked. "What and who, is hells door?" She asked.

It was at this point there was a crash of immense lightning, the sky grew blacker than ever, everything, hiding as the moon was dyed a shade of red.

"We're not on earth anymore" Jewel said. Eyes widening. Her sister was there. "What the fuck are we supposed to do Belial? Thats fucking hells moon!" She raged. Having no idea, a plague hells door. "For once in my god forsaken life, think i need my fucking husband" Jewel sighed, a red bloody tear reaching its way down her face. "Belial. Explain, if you can"

In the background her sister started choking. "If your here to kill us, you can fucking die alone" Jewel said, extremely menacingly, anyone who tried to take her home, her people and her friends, wasn't getting mercy from her. Ever.

Tired of his female sides histerics male Belial shifted out. "My dear poppet! How could you not know your own realm?" Although dark rings had developed under his eyes he was still very beautiful and noble. The sickness in him made him appear fey and frail, but his eyes burned with a powerful inner strength.

"Hell's door is where hell and earth meet. Its where the living can journey into the underworld, if you recall there was a young man that used it to get his beloved from its depths. Also we had a visit from that Dante fellow, he was fun to toy with, but I digress." The moon was quickly setting and the first tinges of dawn were approaching.

"Hell's gate is the only place where anyone is allowed into Hell. I believe that's where the pretty angel's father ended up when he used that incantation." Belial gazed upon Jewel's sister, he picked her up and started walking into an abandoned church nearby. "This is the plague from our childhood dearheart, but it appears that he's made it stronger and found a way to make it highly contagious. All he needed was a host."

Belial turned back to them his eyes aflame with fierce determination.

"Doesnt matter though, Im not letting any of us back into Hell. I will Kill anyone who tries. I will not have my home destroyed!"

  • "I apologise. I remember" She said, recalling a few things, and a few things she'd stopped happening with a flick of her finger and the flash of fire.

"Then its not our fucking home anymore!" She yelled. She didn't fight with Belial. Ever, however she was about to make a very large exception. She had no idea what to do. She could already feel her head begining to pound in on her, she was fed up. She was starting to loose her mind, and that was something, she never wanted to happen. She didn't know what to do. And she just wanted a hug from the one she loved. She'd been cold too long, everyone close to her was dead, dying or out of reach. She wasn't going to be able to bear it for much longer, keeping up her facade of coldness, and being a heartless bitch, wouldn't be easy for her. She knew that already though. Don't us Devils Deserve love? she said to herself silently. are we really so bad, living in agony is a punishment, and our death is settled by a power we don't obey? That is not possible, I will not die when someone wants me to

"Raphael. you've been around since us. You where one of the first angels, second to Belial. You where there during that Genoicde. The massaccre through that plague. Don't you know how to remedy it?" She asked.

Raphael looked at her. "Even the angel of healing cannot do such a thing as alter a plague which mixes with DNA and forces what it occupies, to die violently." Jewel lowered her eyes before looking at him. "There's no sign of it on me. Nor you" She said, watching him. "Even the angel, is unnaffected"

She looked at Belial. "I believe we should play at them. Fucking kill the bastards" Her temper was rising, eventually it would snap, and she wouldn't be able to controll it. "Fucking Kill Lucifel" She hissed. Everything had gone wrong, because her ignorant emotions had gotten in the way. The Lordess of hell, should have never even let herself have emotions, let alone allow them to get in the way of her order.

"Belial. What can we do?" She asked. "Before I fucking loose it" Her eyes where flaring up red and the dark blazes from hell shimmer around her. "Before I burn this fucking place to ashes or kill my god damned sister"

Jewel was in pain, so Belial did the only thing he could think of to make her feel better. He groped her butt. "Wow, you've been working out. 'Course you always have been a bit of a tight-ass." He grinned sidelong at her, much like a cat would eying a canary.

Belial felt a little better when he touched her, not much, but enough to notice. He glanced down at his hand and noticed it was covered in blood. Jewel was covered from head to two in Angel's blood. "Ahh, Lucifel is even smarter than I thought. You arent sick Jewel because you were soaked in their blood. Lucky for you, your bloodthirsty streak protected you. That must be why Raphy and Pretty one over there arent sick."

He licked the blood off his hand, only to throw it up again immediately. "Ugh, It looks like it will only work if you arent already infected." Belial went to his knees looking forlorn and defeated. "Belial's the odd man out again, I suppose Im the one that doesnt get to go home today."

He threw up again, this time one of his ribs and part of his lung came with it. He picked it up and like some sad little child hugged it to his chest. "Oh Jewel, do you think Ill get my very own Eve?"

Jewel stuck to fingers to her head and thought. Belial was tactlessly amusing. "Bloodthirsty streak eh? Thats usually my downfall" She thought sinking to her knees. "I'm not sure about that Belial. I don't make it a habit to lick blood. It's not my feed" She thought. She was good at sorting people and structure based problems. Not goddamned diseases.

She glanced towards her sister. She was extrememly cold hearted, she wondered, how could she save Belial? If at all. Fuck, how could she save hell?

"Killing my sister wont work. She's not an angel, she's just like me" Pondering aloud, was never the best of things to do.

Raphael twitched a little, he wasn't allowed to grope her, but Belial was? He found it utterly unfair, but wasn't about to risk it. Jewel was still healthy, and armed afterall. "Belial, I've been with you practically forever, I knew you before I knew Lucifer...well I didn't really get to know Lucifer to begin with, huthum anyways, I'm not leaving you." She said as sternly as she could. "I'll try and save you or fucking die trying"

"Are you talking crap again?" She asked "And I suppose it depends. I thought you already had one" She asked. There was one last saving grace. She had life magic, she knew that could cure the disease, but cost her dearly. She would have to forfiet more than one life to complete it.

  • Robin attempts to follow the conversation, and all the information her ears receive, She was younger than them, and could not recall the historical events. She was bewildered, and distant. Living on level 5 of heaven, she was not usually connected to either the higher, nor lower levels. She lived an independent and isolated life.

"Oh, Poppet dont make a fuss, Ol' Beli has been through worse." He said letting the rib drop to the ground. "My girly form never comes out to play when I come out though." and then in a whisper he added. "I think she's avoiding me." He followed that up with one of his sly winks.

"Raphy-baby, Make sure our little temptress here is clean. Lucifer will have my ass on a platter if I let a plague into Hell. Dont get me wrong I wouldnt mind having Luci's hands on my tooshie but I would perfer it still attatched to my body." Belial didnt miss the looks Raphael was giving him, a mix of 'Im going to kill you' mixed with 'I want to grope jewel too'. Mischief was a drug to Belial that he indulged in frequently.

"Oh Jewel-baby I feel so weak and helpless." Belial fell into Jewel so that his cheek was on her breast and his hand on her butt. Raphael blushed hard and interjected himself between Belial and Jewel. "Alright Alright, You wanted me to check her, you stand over there so you dont get her sick!" Raphael scolded Belial. Belial skittered away laughing gleefully at his prank.

In his heart he was worried about Jewel, they had been together ages and he wasnt about to see her waste away.

"She's clean, no sign of the disease."

Belial's heart was relieved. "Alright then chums!" He said then met Jewel's eyes a final time. "Why do you all just go to Hell."

He sent them to a return point, the one in Jewel's bedroom that he had used three nights before the start of this nightmare. Belial stood alone with Jewel's sister behind him. Bloody tears ran down his face as he silently picked up Amethyst and walked out of the church and into the false dawn.

"BELIAL!" Jewel lurched out. But found herself back in her hell bound room. "If you struggle to breathe here Robin, just say, we wouldn't want you to choke to death. Raphael, you should have no trouble, apart from, i'd adivse you both not to follow me into flames" Speaking of flames, one appeared abruptly in her doorway, she spun around, only to be greeted but someone she didn't want to see yet.

Lucifer.

He stood at her door, arms folded, and a cold scowl across his face. It seemed to be directed at Raphael.

"You bastard! How dare you even think of coming to hell. You fucked up, money grabbing, womaniser!" Jewel spun around at her 'husband' and hit him hard across the face. "Say another word, and i'll have your balls for breakfast" Her threat was very real, especially, as she had her hand positioned correctly, in the appropriate place, knife in hand. "Sorry" He mumbled, before crawling into his bed chamber. Lucifer was only weak to one person in the world, his tainted wife Jewel, and the severe threats to his sex life she generally made.

"Jewel, everyone was right, I can't do this" He said to himself, but Jewel heard him. She turned to Raphael, who was smiling, a lot more than he should have beem

"The devil still hates me. huh?" He asked. Jewel spun around and thrashed him hard across the face, sending him flying and leaving a large rip in his cheek. He groaned as he got up. "Jewel, my dear-" He started, but it was obvious her mood had gone from bad to worse, and she just wanted, she wished, that the flames of hell would take her sould. But she wasn't an angel, or a devil. So they wouldn't.

"You may explore. Do not do anything you shouldn't. Do not leave, for I will hunt you down and kill you, do not kill anyone, for it will be the last thing you do. If someone dies, then tell me, if the angels advance, interrupt me. I can't take this strain anymore. I hate myself and hate this life. Please, both of you, just go. No one can call me dear. Not even my husband, not without Belial." She said, she waited, Raphael started to leave. She walked into the room Where Lucifer was and fell to the floor, blood red tears flowing from her cheeks. Lucifer sat beside her and hugged her closer than ever before. "Amazing isn't it, my sweet sweet Jewel. Even the hardest of nuts crack, when but under enough pressure to crush the earth" He sighed. He was never warm to anyone, but this one woman, who was more tainted than him.

"My tainted lover and bride. May I remind you, you don't have to do this alone. I swear, I will help you, for once in my life, I'll help you"

((Oh noes! We're winding down and things are getting boring! Ill have to spice things up. We should get some more slaves... I mean people.. to rp with us.))

A murder of crows were cackling madly above Belial, their voices resonating in the forest to create a cacophany of voices. Their chatter was irritating Belial to no end, he no longer had the strength to chase them away and that made the irritation worse.

He was laying in the fetal position next to a shallow pond filled with holy water. He had tricked a local preist into thinking Belial was an angel sent to do god's bidding. After the priest blessed the pond, Beli wiped his memory and sent him on his way. In the shallow end of the pond rested Jewel's sister Amethyst. Already her complexion was looking better and even in the harsh sunlight, she didnt look waif-like anymore.

Belial's hands were badly burned from laying Jewel's sister in the water. He tucked them to his chest and coughed weakly, it wouldnt be long now.

The crows silenced all at once. Belial didnt have to turn around to know someone was behing him, and the scent on the wind gave his identity away.

"Lucifel, love, how nice to see you getting some fresh earthly air. Being cooped up in Heaven all day cant be good for the mind you know." Girl Belial rolled on her back so she could look at the visitor face to face.

"Nothing dampens your spirits does it Beli." Lucifel didnt phrase that as a question, it was simply a statement of the obvious.

Beli grinned as Lucifel sat next to her rotting body she put her hand on his cheek tenderly. "Come to take me to Heaven Mr Death? This cant be a social call, why we havent been socialable since that nasty tree incident."
Her laugh was hollow and laced with wet coughing.

"Belial you werent supposed to get involved." Lucifel made no attempt to remove Beli's hand. His cold eyes softened a little when they met her mischievious ones. "I told you to stay away."

Belial looked over at Amethyst floating in the water. "Well ol' Beli never could follow the rules when his little Jewel was upset. I swear I spoil that girl indulging in her many whims, but she gave me a home." She whispered and then in a very serious voice she said. "Home is where the heart is."

"I will destroy that place which you call home. Heaven is your home and its where you shall stay." Lucifel's aura whipped up a sand storm around them, lashing at the trees and bushes around the pond. He had never been patient and this tantrum was giving Belial a headache. "Fine take me to Heaven, just stop that racket. I swear, its like you're 500 years old sometimes throwing a tantrum over the smallest things." Lucifel Picked up Belial and approached the pond to retrieve Jewel's sister. Red light flared up around her, shoving Lucifel away.

"A sigil of Hell on an angel's body..." Lucifel murmered with something akin to awe. "That should be impossible."

Belial giggled. "Its tied to her greed and other sinful imperfections. Yin and yang, left and right, up and down. It creates a balance the body relishes. Immune from heaven, Immune from Hell. My little poppet carries a sigil of Heaven in her soul, I believe that is what really protected her from the plague. Though I don't think she knows its there." Her cackling excited the crows again and they joined in the malicious noise.

Lucifel roared setting the forest ablaze with his incredible aura. Then he and Belial were gone. Amythest floated in the pond unaware of what transpired.

Jewel stood upright, looking rather uncomfortable, yet still rather demanding and although she looked uncomfortable she appeared to still look very controlling.

Lucifer sat across the bar, now this wasn't really a choice he'd made himself, but he did piss of jewel a lot, and she had literally thrown him there. To put it quite simply, Jewel found out, how drastically ancient her hasbands knowledge of hell was, and most certainly, wasn't all that pleased with it.

She finallly decided to take her leave and stormed out of the bar. After her fall from heaven, she'd become more of a person, who let things slide, with a great amount of controll. However, the recent few turns of events had almost left her being at the very least, slightly over dramatic at times. And she was beginning to hate it. As the iron fist of hell, she wasn't going to start being the weak little princess. however, her throwing of Lucifer probably proved to everyone, she was never going to be weak, at the very least.

She leant against the walls, only to be shouted at by a pair of devils, who where at one point, fallen angels, yelling to her, to get the fuck off their mouths, as exciting as her arse was. She sighed before moving and sitting at the bottom of the spiral staircase leading to her room. She didn't want to go to her room, she hadn't seem Raphael or Robin since leaving fighting with Lucifer. And she definately didn't want to look in her wardrobe at her war clothes. The past made her cold, and the torment of the memories held within it kept her at a distance. Staring into the flames of hell, she suddenly felt a shock, being a triplet, her sister amythest, wasn't fading anymore, but she was in fact coming back.

Jewel sprung up, thining steadily, she soon came to the conclusion; her sister was healing. But how, she couldn't even hazard a guess.

************************************************** ***********

A soft cool breeze washed over the moonlit courtyard. Dry and cracked leaves rustled as they were swept over the ancient foundations of erroded stone. Shadows from overhanging tree branches danced as the moon traveled across the sky. It was here that only grass and trees from the earth dared venture, but tonight, someone was going to disturb this ancient place. The winds stopped and the air hung thick. A dark cloaked figure stepped from the darkness of the courtyard walls and stepped softly but quickly across the stones to the enormous entrance. A quick encantation was barely above a whisper. The courtyard was silent only for a moment before the earth started to groan and rumble deep beneath the surface. The trees in the courtyard shook, their shadows dancing violently beneath them. Rocks and pebbles fell, freed from their eternity. Slowly the dark door started to move, it's seal had been broken and air hissed its quick escape from the black tomb. The courtyard became silent once more. The figure, content with their work, vanished into the darkness.

************************************************** ***********

Pale moonlight shone through the empty cravass cutting its way through the darkness. A long figure swarthed in rags slowly lifted its head. Something was different, the air was thinner and the presence of dark magicks was fading. As the figure struggled to its feet, the sound of chains clanged together to echo throughout the desolate place. Yes, thought Llyandria, freedom is mine if I have the strength to take it. She pulled against her chains with all the strength she had left. Slowly the links started to stretch against themselves. Decay from over the years had weakened them, she pulled harder. They stretched further but would not break. Digging her feet into the cold earth she gave one final thrust forward and the metal finally gave in to her will. Leaving the spot she had rested for so long, she approached the south wall of the tomb and searched for the hidden keyhole. The wooden cabinet was old and rotten, she punched her fist through the failing wood and retrieved the silver box. Inside lay her credendum, Dies Irae. She ran her hands over the casing in anticipation and smiled.

  • Jewel was loosing her patience. She sunk to the blooded floor and just wallowed in it. She was completely loosing her cool, and was blood lusting more than usual. She never really had any desire to kill unless she was in a desperate situation. But now, she had more so that ever.

Back in her room. Raphael stood upright, he sighed, but almost chocked on the repulsive air, and the unrealistic lack of oxygen. He had to give the devils their do, they where definately survivors. He walked around. "The devil hates me more than anyone" He thought to himself. It was true. Evem Lucifel probably didn't hate him as much as Lucifer, and it was almost unnerving to him, he was in his domain afterall, and he'd done more than enough with his woman, and since Jewels amount of power had increased, he wasn't about to try it again. He walked into jewels wardrobe, and ripped off his robes, lavishly dressing himself in clothes usually reserved for only the finest of females. He soon found them too tight, and changed them for some of Belials clothes hoping belial, wouldn't mind.

Lucifer dragged himself down the steep stnoe stairs and followed a bloody trail on the floor. In front of the circle where he had first been chained, sat Jewel. His wife, eyes rolling in an unnerving manner. He knelt down and slapped her extremely hard across the face. Jewel immediately spun back to earth, thrashing out, she floored him. "What the Hell do you think you're doing!" She growled at him. Lucifer looked pleased as he flipped her over. "That" He said. "You're in a bad state. Just get some goddamned sleep, you can sleep for once in a while!"

"Of course I cannot" Jewels anger levels where high, and her stress levels rising.

"Just sleep, please?" He asked her as gently as he could muster, which wasn't much. He pulled himself off of her, but didn't have much choice, and patted her backside as she left. Jewel was begining to notice males having a strange attraction to her backside, she should have noticed it long ago, but she'd never really cared. Lust was her primary sin.

She slowly walked up the stairs to be greeted by a man in a top hat, tapping his foot rather intelligently, while dressed in a vinyl suit. There was a large black tuxedo jacked, which was corseted, and a pair of black straight leg trousers to occupy his legs, he had metal chains around his wrists and neck, and wore shiny shoes and a matching black and red cane. "Jewel. My dear, how are you?" The man asked. Jewel looked up, a small look of repulsion on her face.

"Ad maiorem dei gloriam..."

"For the greater glory of God...please, let things turn out right..."

Faeun uttered these words in a hushed tone, despite the fact that she was not only a resident of Heaven, but at the time was also within her dwelling in the 7th level of Heaven. One could only wonder why she chose to speak so softly in the security and privacy of her own residence. But, as Faeun knew...
"Even the walls have ears here..."
And so, her voice remained barely above the flutter of a whisper, not wishing to give anything aware to whoever or whatever may be able to hear her at the time.

"I really do hope that this time, things will turn out as they were intended to the first time. Perhaps, just this time, I won't feel silenced by my oath, and guilt-stricken by my betrayal."

We really may just have a chance to make things work this time around...and I can help too... , Faeun thought as she continued to wander in a pacing manner continually around her domain...waiting...

Waiting...

  • Leaving Jewel, Robin entered a bar contained by loud chattering of devils. Her lungs needed to adapt to the new atmosphere. It was almost unbearable for her. As she stepped in, the noise began to decrease. She mumbled to herself, "Great... just great. It's not as if I need more attention." She eyed the room, and searched for a place to retreat. She definitely didn't blend in. White wings are not easily hidden. Heaven sure seems like paradise right about now.

Llyandria placed Dies Irae onto her right arm. The feel of it sliding over her wrist was an odd but familiar sensation. Dies Irae happily began to hum as it reactivated itself. She could feel her strength beginning to return to her muscles after years of neglect. Thank you my friend, Llyandria thought to herself. She stood and stretched herself before heading to the entrance of the former tomb. As she approached the sliver of moonlight she wondered what changes she would find as she was unsure of how much time had passed. She peered out through the thin crack to see the courtyard beyond the door. Her silver eyes adjusted to the dim light quickly and she opened the door with little effort as her limbs were quickly regaining their strength. Llyandria stepped out into the pale moonlight and took a deep breath. The sweet night air filled her lungs and she exhaled slowly. Smiling, she stepped onto the grass and savored the sweet sensation of the tiny blades beneath her feet. She took a few steps forward before stopping to look back at the portal from whence she came. The doorway seemed a sad and lonely hole. She turned her attention to the rags hanging from her body. No matter, soon she would find something more suitable for her return. Stretching her wings, she used them to hop up onto the 20 foot wall. Nothing for miles. Wait...a small light, a farm perhaps? She set off to find out.

Faeun decided that she would take the opportunity of waiting, as she was often accustomed to doing for lengthy periods of time, to practice her finest attribute...her voice, and revel in that which God himself had bestowed upon her..."The Gift of the Siren"...

"Aeternum vale...
Amicitiae nostrae memoriam spero sempiternam fore...
Amicus certus in re incerta cernitur...
Annuit coeptis...
Ave atque vale...
Aut viam inveniam aut faciam...Caeli enarrant gloriam Dei...
Coniunctis viribus...Consensu omnium...
Deo Optimo Maximo...Gratias"...

  • Jewel noted Robin was gone, and waited for any news. The demons of the lowers where used to having fallen angels and new faces, but bright white wings never went unnoticed. She flared all her wings up, the magnificent work of the devil. And smiled at the man. "Raphy, dearest" She smirked, pushing him up against the wall. They where at the top of the stairs, with nor barriers. "You're wearing Belials clothes. Lets hope they don't find out shall we?" He look just like the angel of death, but was far from it as he was more likely the angel of healing. The only thing to give him away was the blood dripping down him chin as he coughed internally.

There was a black mark on his chest, over his heart, she moved the jacket out of the way, and smiled in relief. "The sign of the Devil. Interesting, when he hates your guts" She Turned around and conjuring fire, lit her finger with hells finest flames and poked him in the chest where it was."A sigil of hell, associated with your sings, Wrath, Lust and Envy" She was about to laugh. "Welcome to hell, Raphael. You're now officially an outcast to heaven, Lucifel can touch you now." Her smile was definately unnerving him. The fact that he hadn't burned at the hands of teh flame, meant he was no longer a resident of heaven. A young demon came up the stairs looking petrified as he approached the two.

He stopped in front of them anc coughed. "My lord, sorry, how on earth do you breathe in this atmosphere?" He asked. "Oh not that sorry, Theres an Angel in the bar, and she looks as if she is in trouble, she has hidden her wings not, and will soon come under attack, especially if she fails to breathe properly." Jewel bowed her head, "Thank you" she smiled, before running down the stairs, Raphael followed suit.

She clambered her way into the bar, where Robin was. Wings out, and she looked as if she was in distress. breath jewel muttered under her breath as she walked to Robin and growled, scaring off the advances of the demons in the room. "Touch this woman without due cause and you'll be another victim of the walls of hell." She hissed, basicaly that just meant jewel was going to dispose of them. There where some rules afterall. She put her hand on Robins back. "When you can breathe, do you know how to hide your wings?" Jewel asked. Raphael stood poised in the doorway and was unaware of the advances that the Devil had been making on him, the devil was not easily fooled by his guise.

When Llyandria reached the farm it was still night, the journey had not taken her long since her wings helped to close the distance between the two places. She landed quietly, her feet sinking into the fertile soil. She bent down to see what had been seeded there, it was cabbage. Llyandria squinted at the tiny sprouts. It must be early Autumn, she thought. Standing, she noticed a tiny house just a few meters from her. Walking to the edge of the field, she stared intently at the home. There were a few candles lit inside but she could not sense anyone. Llyandria crept up to the outside wall of the home. There was a broken wagon next to the window. Llyandria noticed something rough poking out of the wagon and picked it up. It was a cloak made of rough material, burlap perhaps? No matter, she thought, this will do. Stepping away from the wagon, Llyandria swung the cloak over her long grey wings.

*SNAP*

Llyandria snapped her head around to see a terrified looking peasant. For a moment, they just stared at each other. Llyandria opened her mouth, but before she could speak the peasant let out a yelp of some sort and ran. Llyandria flew after him since he did not flee into the house. The peasant seemed to have poor night vision since he was stumbling and tripping over things. This has to stop...Llyandria swooped down from the sky and landed in front of him. "HALT!" she commanded. The peasant stopped so abruptly he just fell onto his ass in the field. Llyandria leaned over him. "Do you have a name?" she asked. The peasant was still shaking but managed to squeak out "Nathaniel". Satisfied, Llyandria continued with her questioning. The peasant told her that it was his farm and home and that he had seen someone in the field and thought it was thieves trying to rob his crops. As they walked back toward his home, Nathaniel couldn't help but stare at the grey feathers hanging out the bottom of the burlap cloak adoning this curious creature. He was not sure what he was in the presence of, but he didn't sense they were evil.

Reaching the home, Nathaniel showed Llyandria into his megar surroundings. Urging his guest to sit at the table, he hurridly poured some of his evening stew into a bowl for her. In his haste, he knocked over one of the lit candles and burned himself in the process with the hot wax. Llyandria grabbed Nathaniels hand and told him to hold still. She picked up the pitcher of water and poured a little over the wound, washing away the little pieces of wax. Then she left the home and went back out into the field. Selecting a few pieces of cabbage she went back into the hut and put them in the morter and pestle. Nathaniel watched in awe as Llyandria ground up a poultrice to put on his burn. Once it was ready, she applied the remedy to his skin and bound his hand with a piece of burlap she ripped from the cloak.

"Reapply this every day until the damage is healed" she told him. Nathaniel smiled at her, "Thank you, you are such an Angel." Llyandria cocked her head and Nathaniel hastily added, "well I mean, that's what you are aren't you?" "Yes, I am. A mortal such as yourself cannot know the details but I have been absent from Heaven for a time...what news can you give me of its present state?" Nathaniel shook his head, "I have no knowledge other than what I read in books. I'm afraid I cannot help you." Llyandria stood, "well then I must go to find out for myself" "Wait! Please stay here, it's late and you are welcome to share my home." Llyandria had had plenty of time to rest in her desolate tomb but she looked into the peasants eyes and saw that they were kind and inviting. She agreed to spend the night and thanked him. Tomorrow, she thought to herself, my journey begins...

  • Jewel was pissed. That was for sure. There was something, just something a little awry, but she couldn't put her finger on it, and wasn't all that keen to either.

She moved out of the bar, and back down the stairs, she'd noted herself taking the journey more often than not in the recent few days. She looked at raphael and told him to look after the other girl, as even demons under her command couldn't be trusted alone, espeically not with some of their resent against angels. Raphael nodded with a grin. Jewel did not trust him, and wasn't ever going to. At least, not for a long while. She waltzed towards her husband, who had a menacing look on his face, and shook her head. "Lucifer, don't touch him, yet" She patted him on the shoulder and gently pushed him off of the side of the stairs. Lucifer didn't tumble, he landed gracefuly and elegantly on the floor at the bottom, barely bending his knees as his 6 large wings crawled out of his back and took flight. To jewel, they where amazing, they where for some reason, one of the most beautiful things about him, 6 black wings, as black as night, and cold as the moon.

He glanced up at her, before walking off into the flames. She could do very little, in her world, she just looked after it, and cared for it. However, she'd never really been without her good friend Belial, and felt somewhat lost, while somewhat relieved he seemed to be alright, or at the least, it felt to her like he was alright. If he wasn't, she had no idea what she was going to do.

She moved away from the staircase and made her way up a different more enclosed spiral stairwase which led up to the higher levels of heaven. She started to breathe properly again as she reached the higher levels, before exiting into the 3rd level. She was greeted by an array of glances. People weren't used to seeing her, and didn't seem to know whether to be pleased or not. They seemed very on edge, and the fact was, they where.

Jewel nodded her head to the people; it was just a social call. She could almost see the relief on their faces, as she walked through. At the end of the long corridor to the main castle, stood a young man clad in armour. "And your name, young sir?" She asked bowing. No smiled, no emotion. Just the flicker of her eyes and the movement in which ensued. He looked partially stunned, then smiled.

"I am the angel, in which fell and you allowed here." He spoke in a softer voice than she remembered. "I hit the ground, I was broken and dying and you saved me" He looked happy. He had a very broken wing, which she still foudn beautiful all the same.

"Young one. I know, even though you are broken, you are strong. I'm asking you, the army and the people here, are scarce, and weakened. not in strength, but against that dickhead." She said, pointing to an image of Lucifel she had created in the air, the angel laughed, she was certainly a crude devil. She almost felt compelled to smile, but didn't, it wasn't her, not in front of the people. "Look after some of the people for me here, would you? All the levels are weakening, and the only saving grace and hellish problem is few survive in the lower levels, angels and demons and all else alike." She said, sounding serious, and looking out at the sky, which was a remarkable purple colour. "Please?" She asked, he nodded as she turned to leave and walk away.

"May I ask one question? Please My Lord?"

"You may" She replied, uncertain of what he was about to ask.

"Why is someone, like you, looking after somewhere like this? Looks of an angel, soul of a devil. Why is it you're so cold? To everyone?" The remarks brought a smile to her face, never did anyone really spell it out that well.

"My little angel now fallen. It is because someone as promiscous as me, has so many faults, angels wouldn't allow it. I look not like an angel, I am always a devil." She smiled, walking away. He slowly, walked into the castle where most lived on the level.

Jewel made her way back down to her level slowly, smiling to herself, it was interesting, everyone knew she was cold, few knew she was tainted, and she was getting more and more worried about hell, which was home to so many as she walked back through the doors of the bar, an eerie feeling lighting up her spine.

  • Robin thought to herself, the 9th level of hell, and might not be a great idea to cause trouble. She became relaxed after Jewel's visit, and became accustomed to breathing in this atmosphere. Slowly she adjusted. Her wings however, were very noticeable. She never needed to hide them, seeing as she stayed in the same location her entire life.

She heard whispers saying, "Who is that angel?" and "Why is she here?" and "Maybe we should test her." She heard another respond with, "No don't, you'd get killed by Jewel, you heard what she said."

I smiled, this was the first time she was being protected by another. Robin mumbled, "Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea. If I can defeat them, I'll be able to fend on my own..." She eyed the devils, even though one can never judge by appearance.

  • Jewel returned to her level, her husband was no-where to be seen, and she felt almost lost without her second in command, Belial. Yet she felt relieved, her connection to her sister, was getting less and less frayed, as if there was less static on the line and she had a feeling Belial was still alive, but an eerie one concerning his current wereabouts. She just wanted to know that he was safe, for once. Although she found it devilishly unlikely.

Jewel sat on the step outside the bar, a cold wind blowing around her. It was strange, the air was so bad at the bottom of hell, compared to the top. She'd never noticed how stale it was, how low the oxygen was, because she'd never wanted to care a large deal. But now, she was glad that it hadn't come to people populating the lower levels of hell in mass numbers, nothing would be able to survive on the last level, unless they could survive without oxygen. Raphael stood behind her, at the door all that could be seen was his figure, she felt a breeze again, and speedily turned around.

"Why do you look as if you're about to kill me?" She asked him, stupid question. If he had, she wouldn't have died, he was cursed like that, even better, it was a curse with no preferance of the attacked.

"I wasn't, I wanted to take you by suprise, I envy you so much you know" He was speaking in a strange tone to her, she came to the conclusion that it was the air clogging up his lungs, and making it more difficult for him to speak. "This empire of hell, lives in as much fear of you, as it does the Devil and his counterpart alike. If only i'd fallen" Jewel laughed. She couldn't do anything but laugh.

"If you'd fallen? I don't think it'd have made much difference. I really don't. I think you'd have been killed by Lucifer a long time ago"

"You don't refer to him as your husband that much."

"I never had" She glared at him. Standing up and looking down at the floor. Jewel brushed past him and walked to a large group of demons and fallen at the back of the bar. She sat amongst them as they moved out of the way for her. They where whispering about Robin, she was going to set a record straight. She pushed up her large wings, and covered the ones sitting near her, a man on the opposite side, with long blonde hair and a well sculpted face, pulled out his large wings and covered the other side, so the entire table was hidden by the 2 sets of 6 wings. "oi boys. Don't let anyone touch that angel. You can talk to her, do whatever, don't let her come to harm." She went to get up, but was pulled back down by the cheeky devils which loved to torment their lord.

"Ya know Jewel, can we have some fun you know what I mean" He asked, raising his eyebrows, jewel laughed at the remark.

"I wouldn't. She's probably still a virgin. Just look after her and no shit or I'll have all your guts for garters and you can count on that" She stood up, and made her way away from them this time.

"Alright we will, why can't you?" They shouted across the bar

"I've got other business, concerning a certain stroppy devil" She said, walking out of the bar, leavign the men laughing.

  • Robin watched Jewel, and called back to her, "You really do think I'm that weak?" She wasn't surprised, the angels she fought for all had their memories erased. She wondered if it would be different fighting on hell, especially with the lack of oxygen and the odds against her.

As soon as Jewel left, one devil stood up. He had a smirk on his face, grinning. "Well well, now why don't you introduce yourself? All of us are curious as to why an angel if living on the 9th level of Hell."

Robin responded, "Why would I need to speak of myself, and my own secrets?"

Another one shouted, "In Hell, you do not have that much free will. That will lead you to your death, so you should prepare yourself for that."

Robin replied, "Are you saying I'm near my death? I cannot think of any event, or person in Hell that would kill me. Heaven however, is a different story."
