Darien woke the next morning to the sun in her eyes. Growling lightly, the brunette sat up, streching her arms upwards and slowly bringing them infront of her. "Ahhh...." She smiled sleepily. She loved her bed.

Getting up slowly, she threw her feet over the side of the bed and stood up. Walking to her dresser she pulled out clothes for the day, tossing any dirty ones into the small cloth hamper she had.

"Morning, morning, why can't you come at noon~" She sang as she dressed, giggling every now and then.

After dressing, the girl wondered downstairs, rummaging through her cubbords for some kind of breakfast. She often didn't have time to buy alot of food. Sure she _could_. She didn't have to pay rent, so, all her money was hers to spend. If there was anything good her mother ever did for her, it was this, leaving her a house in the city.

As Eliana approached her modest single-story home, she started feeling slightly sleepy. Soon after coming inside, she sat down in a comfortable corner and fell asleep. To her, beds were not needed anymore.

Morning came and a ray of light came through the eastern window of Eliana's house, lighting her sleeping face. Soon after, she was awake and moving around the house. It was a slightly shabby but homey place to live in. Standing away from a lot of other buildings, the windows set in the walls had more of an effect. Although the interior seemed slightly dirty, it was just the color of the dark wood which the house was made of. Dark, earthy, greens and browns with a few colorful patches made the interior feel like the deep forest Eliana was the most at ease with.

Children soon started to play in the plain area around her modest house. They had quickly learned that they were welcome after the last person had moved out, a grumpy old man who chased anyone who entered the premesis. But that was in the past now. Eliana smiled and welcomed the new day into her house.

"Heh. I wonder if I should give them food. Knowing those children, they'll be all over me if I do. But they may have something of intrest to tell or give to me..." She contemplated both paths before putting some wood on the old stove.

((Wow. I'd have thought i'd be able to figure out the period this is taking place in earlier, but it's kinda hard to tell. xD))

Despite how tired she was, Sakura woke up early the next morning. The sun hadn't even come up yet, but but the sky was just beggining to turn pink on the horizon. Sakrua rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and went to wash up and change into a new kimono.

The water was cold and by the time she was ready to get changed, Sakura was shivering to the point were it hurt. She quickly slipped into one of her warmer kimono, an ice blue silk with cherry blossoms embroidered in it and a silver-gray obi that matched the nagajuban (under-kimono). Sakura was feeling cheerful today and this was one of her favorite kimono.

When she was fully dressed and her silver hair fastened into a neat bun, she went to the kitchen to grab a quick breakfast before heading out. It was too beautiful a morning to waste indoors.

Finding a small portion of bread, some form of jerky and a small ammount of cheese, Darien moved, sitting at the small table. "Itadekimasu.." The brunette yawned, and began to munch on the small ammount of food.
Was it enough for breakfast? Oh of course, but she'd need to go shopping.

"Mm.. note to self, " She spoke to herself, "Stop at the market before coming home. You need bread, cheese, meat annd.." She took a quick glance around the house. " ome feggis."

The neko-girl swallowed the portion of bread that'd been keeping her from talking clearly and stood. The bottle on her counter held a small bit of milk in it, and she finished that aswell. "Mm.." She smiled and headed out quickly. She'd need to jog if she wanted to get to the small building she worked at, in time.

[I don't know really. x_x;; Hey, Bleeding Rose what time period is this set in exactly? I mean, it should be a little obvious buut, there is rps that are kingdoms like this but set in modern time --> early future.

Sakura wandered the streets aimlessly. He perseptive eyes took in all sorts of color, storing ides for new paintings.
"What a lovley day," she thought to herself. The sky was a clear, cloudless blue and there was a cool breeze.
As she walked on, Sakura felt her spirits lifting exceptionally high. She began hum a familiar tune.

((Trinity: Heh. Ah well. We had just decided that the period doesn't have electricity so I don't think there's a phone or bus you can use. 'Tis fine though. xD))

While the stove was warming up, Eliana walked outside. One of the children had brought along a basket of bread. She wouldn't be feeding them today. "Heyo! Adrian! Could you look over the house again today? I'll treat you and a few friends to dinner if you do." She walked over to a short boy wearing dirty trousers with a formerly-white shirt and vest. He nodded silently and went back to playing. "Geez. Can't you say anything to me in the mornings?" The young boy nodded. "I could."

Eliana sighed and walked back into the house where the stove now was hot. She started cooked and ate some eggs before then walking out of the house and back towards the main part of the town.

As she was walking down the road, she started whistling a tune. Soon after, Eliana walked past someone humming the same tune and the sounds harmonized, creating a glorious sound. She stopped with a start and stared at the lovely girl wearing a kimono who had been humming the same tune as she had whistled.

Edit: ((Gah. Could people please read each-other's posts? I was attempting to interact. ;.; ))

As Sakura walk further away from the main town, the buildings got further apart and the trees more dense. It was in this area that she liked to spent her days, but as she walk on, Sakura decided to go for a change of scenery. Turning on her heels, she walked quickly back into town.

The main square was busling with people. Everyone was so different and intereting. Sakura sat on the stepts of an old church and began to sketch what she saw.

Darien yawned as she walked. Her feline ears perking at the sounds of chickens or other animal's around. Having the animal blood in her, she was rather in-tune with most animals, so it made where she worked all the more enjoyable, and easy.

Looking around the busy stone streets, her honey eyes concentrated on few certain people. Ones that seemed to be odly placed, or just people who scared her, sending chills down her spine.

Glancing around, she continued to walk, bumping into a few people, only to appologize. She passed a girl that was drawing, and stared a moment. When the girl looked up to take in the view again, she smiled and bowed her head, then was on her way once again.

Darien walked a while further and then without much problem, weaved through the crowd, ducking into the building she'd been headed to. "Ah, work, what joy." She smiled, giggling lightly, and walked back to check on the few animals that'd been left there overnight.

"Goodmorning children!" She beamed to the animals. Two dogs, a few cats and what could have been a small flock of birds.

For the next few hours, the brunette tended to the animals, seeing to their food, water, health. Anything that needed to be done with them, she did it. She then took to the front counter, dismissing the male there to attend to his own duties. They had a small barn in the back for the bigger animals, cows, horses, sheep, the other animals that often needed tending to.

The male that worked there took care of these larger animals as it required quite a lot more strength. He'd deal with the hay bales and buckets of water, brushing the animals, checking their pregnancies if need be.

Darien smiled as the man headed out back. He hated tending to such things but hey, he hated dealing with people more, and no way in any life would she herself deal with the hay, and dung.

Larissa found some paper and a pencil at the cafeteria counter, sat back and started to write a draft copy for a copy for a letter for her parents, finished her coffee paid and went out again....she wondered around the town everything there was beautiful to her eyes since she had lived all her life in the country in the suburbs and hardly ever came to town exept for christmas when she and her mom came to see the shop windows to see the decorations and the toys, then her mom made her choose one of them and secretly bought it to put under the tree and the she used to tell her Santa was listening when she chose the toy...how sweet she was...
Larissa saw a big old church and walked towards it...the building was amazing ...she entered it but no one seemed to be around....
"Anyone here?" she said...hearing the echo of her voice all over the place..

Sakura stopped and placed her pancil on the ground next to her. The scetch she had drawn consisten of the main tower in the square and a lot of moving people. In the very center was on person taht stood out. It was a little girl that sat at the fountain in the center. She was wearing onld rags but Sakura had used bold lines to draw her.
Sakura looked up and saw that the little girl was looking at her. Carfully, Sakura got up and walked over to her.
"Hello, darling."
"Hi," the little girl said, looking at her feet.
Sakura reached into her obi and pulled out a small coin purse. She removed a few coins and pressed them into the girl's hand. Then she ripped the sketch out from her pad and handed it to her as well.
"Here, sweetie. Buy youself some dinner." Sakura smiled warmly and the little girl smiled back before running off.

(Hey, sorry, I'm back now~ Despite having my internet back though, I might not be able to get on super frequenty becauase my computer is stupid. v.v;; -at school right now-)

After a good two hours longer, the male--Lei--walked back into the building."Eh, seems that Utami is pregnant."

Darien grinned, "Really? Ohhh it's her first time! We'd better be really careful with her, she's gonna need some help." Utami was one of the horses in the barn. They'd been waiting a while for her to get pregnant but untill now, hadn't had any luck.

"Mm, yeah, well, she's strong so, it shouldn't be a difficult pregnancy." He smiled to himself. He may have been rough and emotionless looking, but really, he held a heart of gold in his broad chest.

"Ah, true enough I suppose." Darien giggled. "Anyway, have you had anything to eat yet? I'm starving and I'd like to run to the market for something to eat."

"Yeah, go ahead, I brought some stuff with me. I'll just sit up here and eat. We shouldn't be too busy anyway." Nodding, he shooed her away from the counter and took her place.

"Don't worry about being back quickly. You're always stuck in here on nice days, so go ahead and take your time."

Nodding, the brunette blew him a kiss and took out of the door.

As she moved through the still busy--though not as--streets, she noticed the girl with the drawing again.

Walking over slowly, she took a seat beside her. Darien didn't want to be rude, but she was quite curious as to what the girl could be drawing for such a long period of time.

"Excuse me," She smiled kindly, "do you mind if I watch you?" She glanced at the canvas. "You've got an amazing talent."

Sakura glanced up from her scetch pad.
"Um... sure. Thanks."
She could feel the heet rising to her cheeks. Still, she felt the need to intoduce herself. "Hi, I'm Sakura." She smiled warmly then turned back to her pad.
She kept on sketching, drawing bits of movement here and there. Deffinetly a new angle.

“Another day…” Veronica sighed as she marched through the town square. Her parents had entrusted her to open up the general store today. Why couldn’t they get to Toby or John to do it? “Your brother’s are needed her tending to the animals… you know that Veronica. Now be a good girl and open up shop,” Her father’s words jingled through her head as she walked past the church steps.

Out of the corner of her eye she caught Sakura and that one boy… she couldn’t remember his name but she knew she liked looking at him. “ Morning Sakura!” Veronica shouted and gave a wave to the girl and then scampered back along. Veronica signed deeply keeping her eyes on the ground. Why couldn’t she be watched like that? Who would ever notice her always being in class or tending to her younger brothers or even behind the candy counter of the general store?

Veronica came to the door of her family’s shop. She finished the keys out of her pocket and placed them in the lock turning the key ever so slowly as if trying to avoid going inside. She couldn’t bring herself to do it today. But she was a good daughter and she always did what she was told so she unlocked the door and pushed the door open going inside. She flipped the little red sign from closed to open and somehow she already knew today would be like every other day.

"Huh?" Darien blinked, looking up and nodded,"Oh, uh, I'm Darien. I run the petshop just down the street here.." She hadn't spoke very loud, and it was more of a mumble, but it was audiable.

"So uh," she cleared her throat somewhat, "Are you always out here? I've noticed you here a couple times."

Veronica moved about the store, her eyes still watching the pair across the way through the dusty glass of the General store front window. She moved the broom across the floor glancing up every so often as she pushed the broom back and forth across the floor.

Veronica gave a heavy lamenting sigh. “He’s … still… there. “ She muttered to herself. “Whose still where?” A voice called from behind her. Veronica glanced up and saw one of her older brother’s standing behind her. “ Oh nothing…” veronica replied as she moved away from the window. John didn’t believe his little sister however and moved to the front of the store gazing out the window. “What? Them?” He said pointing to the pair on the church steps. “There’s nothing special to that…’ He said with a shrug.

The young screwed her face and scowled. It was easy for her brother to say that… he had a girlfriend. Veronica had no one. “ I said I wasn’t wanting them.” She said stamping her foot and huffed turning on her heel and dragging the broom behind her to the storage closet. “ Sure…” Her brother said and shook his head. Veronica stuck her tongue out at John as he walked past Veronica and ruffled her hair. “I’m off, Mom and dad just wanted me to check on you on my way to work. Mind the store!” John said as he gave a wave and headed out the door. “Yeah, Yeah,” Veronica said as she began to stack boxes along the shelves.

Sakura shooko her head. "Um... I guess I like to watch people. It helps me but i ussually paint in the woods. I wanted a different angle today."
As soon as she said this she began to blush. She wasn't ussually this open. It felt... odd. And she felt bad for not greeting Veronica. She just walked away so fast...

"Mm, the woods are a nice place if you want to get some quiet painting time in. I'm not one for forestry, I was born and raised in the city." She smiled, "I'm not much of an artist buut, I do, do some work. Nothing like yours though."

The girl continued to watch Sakura work, taking in the detail. Something came to her then and she looked up, "So uh, who was that girl that said hi to you earlier? It's not really my business, but she seemed like she's known you for a while."

Aaahhh! It felt GREAT to be outside for once in his godforsaken life. Rarely one to see the outdoors, myriadic hues of red and blue drank in everything with a sort of drunken stare. His parental units had forbade him to go outside of most occassions because of his childhood past, but now with halloween closing in, he was allowed to leave on the guise of wearing a costume. It was silly, really, thought the youth as he wandered around rather aimlessly in the streets. Little boys came to him asking about the fleshy wings on his back, and upon arching them upwards the children always smiled and then told their mothers they wanted wings for costumes just like his. Most of the older adult pulled their children inside as if the marble-fleshed male had some sort of disease, and when he went to a small girl who'd lost her ball in the gutter and retrieved it for her, her mother glared at him. With a rather hard sigh after being told to leave her children alone, he cricked his neck. It was the same old deal every single day. Shunned for his flesh tone and the extra apendages. Shunned because he was apparently a psychotic harmful mugger. Hands pulled high above his head and he closed his eyes as he walked, using his keen senses alone to tell if he'd run into anything--which never happened anyways. It wasn't long before he walked into the shop with Veronica inside of it. Letting off an annoyed sound, he made to leave. No doubt, since she was older, she'd probably heard stories from her parents telling of what a nasty person he supposedly was. "Sorry." He said as he stepped back into the portal with a shamed look on his face.
