Eris walked slowly through a city, staring this way and that, her big green eyes giving away her emotions. Everything intrigued her, every sight, smell, and all the races. This was her first time away from home, a small village deep within a forest full of faes. There she was taken care of by everyone, bringing a whole new meaning to the saying "It takes a village to raise a child". But curiosity got the best of her and she ran away. Now she stood in the middle of the husle and busle of city life, terrified and elated at the same time. Eris was suddenly nocked down to the ground, her wings popping out from there secured place. She began cursing at the person who bumped into her, only to notice them. She blushed crimson and ran, rather ungracfully into the nearest building. It appeared to be a hotel and Eris sighed in happieness. Making her wings disappear again, she slowly slide down a wall, and hugged her knees. 'This is going to be one adventure.' She told herself sarcastically.

The middle of the study flashed once and the drow that had his head bent over the pool raised his withered face and smiled at his newcomer.
"Hello there...you must be the one..that they call 'Gwenifer' I'm sorry for the rude way that I brought you here...but I had no choice." He smiled and stood with a few cracks in his back. He grabbed up his staff that lay beside the desk and shuffled to her, holding out his hand in greeting.

Everything faded out, the silence of the city left, and she slowly opened her eyes. Things still fading in and out, she looked to see an aged hand reaching out to her. Unsure of what she was doing she backed away, only to find a wall behind her, "where am I?" Her eyesight was beginning to fade back in, she blinked to clear more of the blurriness from her sight.

The old Drow looked around and nodded.
"In my study young one, I'm sure that's a surprise, but bear with me...you've had a run-in with the triplets am I right?"
Dale handed Alec off to Dale pointing to the room incdicating that he wanted them to head on, with a nod, Zack took his brother inside. Dale on the other hand headed around the side of the Hotel, and stopped before he stumbled over a hunched figure that crouched in the shadows.
"And you are?" He cocked his head and stared...surely this person wasn't the one that Alec said attracted the Triad...was she?

Gwenifer could feel her head reeling, she clenched it with one palm, then the other. "No, where are we? Are we still on that planet?" She looked around the room, observing it's detail, it did not surprise her one bit that this was a study. "Triplets...?" She stood up, "where are they? Are they okay? Do they know I'm here? How do you know them?" She felt a migraine sink back in, and she slumped back onto the chair.

"Easy there." He said gently.
"Yes, we are still on the Earth Plane, far from where you were, but still that is only my magic." He waved a hand and a tray with two cups and a pot of tea shimmered into veiw on his desk.
"Drink this, it'll make you feel better." He said pouring Gwenifer, and then himself a cup.
"As for how I know them? I've known Alec, Zack and Dale since before they were born....they are where you left them, and they will be alright...that is..if Humans don't make the same mistake twice."

Gwenifer looked down, and nodded, she took a cup of tea and began to drink. She downed the cup in a matter of seconds, and felt the migraine slowly fade away. She let out a sigh of relief, and looked back at the stranger, "may I ask who you are?" She said, holding the lukewarm cup in her hand. "What decision might that be?"

Finishing his cup off and offering Gwenifer another, the drow nodded.
"You wouldn't recognize the name right away, but I am Dalmin Fenrunner....Scribe of the Earth Plane." He sat on the edge of his desk, perched like a living gargoyle.
"That...is the very reason I brought you here my dear." He shifted and leaned forward.
"Since my 'last' Testament, I have been cursed to survive what the Humans do and pass on the tale of the Triplets to those I deem worthy enough to be of assistance...over the years I have become weak and now can only bring one to me to inform all of the peril at their door. Those three that you have fell in company with, are the heralds of the End. Zayin, Aleph, and Daleth."

Gwenifer nodded her appreciation and took another cup of tea, now luxuriously sipping it, instead of downing it to push out a migraine. She now was focusing her attention, "nice to meet you... Well I suppose you already know who I am." She chuckled, and took another sip. "Heralds... Of the end? What do I have to do with this?" She squinted looking down into the tea, she sloshed it around in the cup out of sheer restlessness, she needed answers.

He nodded.
"Yes, those three, if pushed down the road of destruction....will cause the Planes to die...as wel as those that depend on them...all life will cease to be. You, are the only one that can stop them...you, as well as the rest of the world. Undoubtably you've noticed that they act diffrently than usual when forced into a confrontation?" He was speaking about the flashes in their eyes, Dalmin poured himself another cup and continued.
"I've been watching you..Dale's feathers changed color didn't they? When you befriended them? That one bit of postive energy, started all three of them down their own paths...opposite of the Triad..the three spirits of Destruction that they are possessed by."

"So it'd be the destruction of the world..." She looked back down at the tea, and took another sip. "Why me? Just because I befriended them? I remember Alec could feel my emotions... What do you mean their own paths? Like I could basically save the universe?" She looked at Dalmin in disbelief. "How many more 'positive' acts will it take?"

"I brought you here, because you were the one that my energy could most easily reach, now you must take action to divert the Triad, let those that you trust only know Zack, Dale, and Alec's true selves...if anyone else should find out..the Triad would undoubtably move against them and destroy their minds in the process. Their own paths are the ones that they must take, apart from what their possessor tells them, it's what they must choose for themselves. You must take what information I have given you and use it to push them to a way of Light...it will take time..that is all I know."

Gwenyth looked in shock, so much rested upon her shoulders. She gulped, and inhaled, "okay, how exactly do I push them to a way of light?" She was confused, but if it was for their sakes, and billions of others' she would do it. She never passed down a challenge, especially one involving so much risk. "I'm ready..." She exhaled and stood up, feeling restless once again.

"It was dumb of me to come here. I shouold have just stayed at home, where nothing bad can happen." Eris told herself, wiping at the tears falling from her eyes. Sometimes when she was upset, her natural glow tended to brighten even more, and now was the case. Stopping everything, Eris could feel someone beside her. Standing up quickly, her large green eyes sans tears, she apologized for being in his way. She didn't notice that he had asked her a question and walked past him into the hotel.

Dalmin smiled and nodded.
"Relax..this isn't just on your shoulders, it is an interaction between those three and the world around them, the more positive energies that are around them, the more they will choose their own way, that is waht you must do. Help them find things about this world and the others to care for, to care about. That is the Path of Light."
"Then why didn't you?" Dale sighed and crossed his arms staring at the girl just a few feet away from him, he fluttered his wings a moment, feeling them cramp up from being stationary too long and stretched out.
"And I hope you know it's awfully rude to ignore someone once they've asked you a question.." His voice raised only slightly in volume so that she could hear him as she walked away.

Gwenifer nodded, "yes, I will do what I must." She loosened her muscles for a moment, only to find them tensing up again, as usual. "Well, when do I go? I'm ready..." She kept on a determined face, only to realize how lame she looked. So she relaxed her muscles, and stood there, awaiting his command.

The withered features softened and Dalmin slid from his perch and shuffled to Gwenifer.
"You are so young...if I had a say it would not fall to you...or this generation..but it is not my will, but that of the Gods that I do this act..take my blessing child, and do what you can." He made a small sign and pressed his index finger to her forehead. The room began to spin, colors and images, merging into one swirl of light and faces, then, as quickly as it came, the vision melted away leaving her in the same street as before...it was as if she'd never left.

Gwenifer smiled, "it was nice meeting you Dalmin. I will do this favor for you as best I can." She promised herself in her mind she would for mankind, herself, but especially Alec, Dale and Zack. She sighed, and next thing she knew she was on the street again. A little dazed she shook herself off, and once again pursued the brothers. She walked a few blocks, now more leisurely than earlier, "ZACK? DALE? ALEC?" She called out, hoping to get a sense of direction of where they might be.
[Must go, sorry, g'night]

As the shimmer of Gwenifer's leave dissapated, Dalmin steepled his fingers and sighed, leaning his tired body against his staff.
"Let us pray that this time...things go a bit diffrently." He lowered his ruby gaze to a leather bound book that lay open on his desk, the page worn and dusty. He scanned the last entry, and sighed heavily. It had ended before it had began...ending the same night that the Triad had first arrived to the Earth Plane..driven from their homes and consumed by their own hatred.

Gwenifer strode from block to block, hoping she was getting closer to the boys. She stopped, and squinted, scanning the area, then she looked up in the sky, she saw the height of the hotel in the distance. "Well then..." She sighed, and began jogging, until she reached just a few feet of where she noticed Dale still there. Remaining in the shadow she watched him for a few moments, before emerging from the dark of the street.

Dale only inclined his head as he heard footsteps moving from the shadow.
"So...you decided to come back...is there a reason?" His usual cold stare focused on Gwenifer and for a moment narrowed even further.
"I take it you know..." He didn't have to take it..he knew she knew...there was something different about her...a more informed air.
"So...what do you plan to do? Kill us off to save this pathetic world...tell you what..it won't happen." His eyes flashed sliver and he fluttered nervously. His feathers had darkened once more, the gray sliding down like water to cover what ends had lightened.

Eris turned around, slightly irritated. "I'm sorry. Are you soeaking to me?" She asked him, smiling iun an annoyed fashion. "Or do you usualy stand alone, muttering to yourself about rudeness and so on. Oh and where I come from it's common surtesy to introduce yourself before you start badgering people." Clasping her hands together she waited for him to reply, she didn't have all day and she wanted to get a room, and get some sleep.

He was irritated...and that was very dangerous. He was like a spring, you keep winding him and winding him, then at the last minute..without you even realizing what you'd done..there he goes snap. He turned ever so politely to the girl he'd seen in the alley, and steepled his hands.
"Who else would I be speaking to? I can't very well have a nice converstaion with myself since we both agree on everything." He smiled...the skin around his mouth seemed to creak and pop with the effort.
"But I didn't think that pointing out simple character flaws could be badgering, please, forgive my stupidity." His head turned to a painful angle and his neck snapped.
