"Yeah, you're right. When I get intimidated, I guess I can act a little arrogant, but I have to prove someone wrong." She shook her head, "I don't understand how someone can just give up."

That is a mystery to me as well yet I have seen it done many times before.

"Yeah, I've seen it too. I have a brother, and sister. She was disowned too, because she would get nervous, and give up. I can't do that, I don't know where she is right now, but I don't know that I want to..." A look of anger washed over Gwennan's face.

Wow is that a reason to hate her or is there more you want to say about it.

"No I don't hate her, I think when she left, my parents had very unreasonable expectations of me. Which I usually met, but not to their satisfaction. They're pride was scratched when she ran off with a man." Gwennan shrugged again.

So the pressure shifted to you that makes more sense. They sound like the kind of people no matter how perfectly something is done you haven't done it right.

"Yup, that's them!" She smirked, "my brother was always the perfect one, he was male, he would pass down the inheritance. My sister and I felt intimidated by him, so I kept going, and she simply could not..."

Well with that kind of pressure I'm not surprised that she would leave I personally wouldn't just so in the end I could prove how wrong they were but thats just me.

"Yeah, I couldn't blame her too harshly, she was the eldest of us three. Our parents put a lot of pressure on her, and after a while, she just couldn't handle it." Gwennan remembered her sister, tall, kind, utterly in love with one man, who more than kindly returned the favor.

You have to think that thorld is also like your parents and you have to support it even if it doesn't want you to. * Obsidian began thinking of his parents which brought a smile to his face. *

"Yeah I suppose, I wouldn't mind seeing her again. She was very kind to me..." She looked back at him, her feet still moving in front of her. As the terrain began to thicken, she nearly lost her footing, but instead did a flip, and barrel roll, bring herself back to her feet, only a few feet ahead of him.

I give that a perfect ten. Now we are in the land of fire so be on your guard the demons here are ruthless.

Gwennan chuckled, and bowed teasingly. Then turned and scanned the area, the sky was almost a red, "we're in the fire land, after just one day?!"

Well the land certainly looks like it and the sky should not be that color unless there was a large amount of fire nearby. Though I agree with you we should not have gotten here so quickly what is going on.

"Hmm, maybe we found a portal of some type. Of course what we're looking for is probably quite a ways in. From what I know this land is very, very large. I've also heard of the portals, but I assumed it was only a myth..." Gwennan shrugged, still observing the land, the pearly white rocks beneath her feet, were jagged, and uneven. She would have to watch her feet.

Must have been when you tripped because the land changes gradually and not just as just in the ground like that. But you are right we still have a ways to go before we get what we are after.

"Mhm, I might have triggered a portal..." She looked back up at the area she had tripped around, "what exactly are we after?"

We are after freeing this land from the king's tyranny which means we have to find the head honcho around here and defeat him. Before we do that we have to capture a fire demon and make him talk about the leader so we know how to defeat him.

Gwennan nodded, "... Interesting... Very interesting. I guess whatever you guys do, I'll follow." She looked around again, and then continued moving, strategically, so as not to fall, for it would be a longer, harder roll than before.

ok well first we have to find a demon as I said before.

"Okee dokee, and where might we find him?" She asked.

Who knows we will most likely stumble on him and most likely he won't talk willingly so we will definitely have to use force.

"Ahh, and since when do demons just take pain," she said sarcastically. "How do you know he'll spill?"

They are not as apt to talk when they have notihng in the deal but I was planning on bribery and since all they want is power that is how we will get him to talk but first we must overpower him and force him into a corner. Though given it doesn't work still we can just kill him eithrer way no downside to that plan if he talks we get info and if not then we will have rid the world of one demon.

"Why don't... We just kill him, no questions, nothing. Then we just go find the king and kill him. Quite a bit easier if you ask me, no questions, less torture. Of course torture is good and fun, but I think something similar and more time worthy can be done later. This king can't be THAT hard to kill, he's no Achilles. If he is though, we just knick him in his ankle and there you go...."
