"Emotions are what make you human and decide what is a cause worth fighting for." She replied simply. A tone of pity ebbing into her voice "You may be a wonderful warrior, that much I can see, but you lack something far greater." She replied simply "You lack people skills and they can start or stop a war without anyone even realizing that it is your idea. People skills mean you can control a country, by simply talking to its leader." She shook her head and fixed Kain with a look of sorrow.

  • "Ah, that is very well true. But, as you said, I am a warrior. My job is to fight, not to make relations with neighboring countries and avoiding war. We have diplomats who converse with one another about war and such. Sometimes talking is what causes them to begin with. I do admit, I have several short comings and I accept them fully." She stood from the ground and stretched.

Yavi, unexpectedly chimed in, "That may be what makes one human, but as you can see, Cherry is no human."
Cherry watched Kain stand and continued to sit on the ground.

She smiled "Oh, I know." She said darkly. "Many a war has been spawned from a whispered suggestion, more than you would think. You see even when there is something completely valid to fight over those with the right skills can fuel the fires or put them out." She looked Kain square in the eyes "That is a womans job. Our men wield their weapons and fight the wars but it is the womans voice by his ear that keeps things sane. She wards off wars and rash decisions you warriors are so prone to taking." Her smile faded "And you despise that strength because it isn't physical." She told them.

"You despise me because I will not fight. Because I expect it to be done for me. Kain, the very reason you want me to live and return home is the same reason you think I am so weak." She paused "Because I do not fight. I am no threat. I am decoration." She smiled "I am the one my father and brother have divulged information to for years. I am the invisible hand they trust because I can not hurt them. I am the voice in their ear guiding them." She sighed "If I could fight I could no longer be their guidance and your world would still happen. You need me to stay as I am or I may as well be dead." Her smile became icy.

"Oh yes, I do fully realize you intended to make this lesson one for us both. You did say as much in the tavern. Do you still wish to teach me?" She asked "Knowing that if you do your world is as damned as it is if I die?"

  • "Your stares and tones mean nothing to me. The only people I despise are those who lack strength both of physical and mental. It takes great hardships to be where I am today. Many of which I was forced to learn at such a young age; however, my sad, pathetic tale is not of your concern." She started a path to Elleran, "From what I have learned about women is that we are nothing but cows to men. We are nothing but things that they can play with, torture and kill once done with. The only voices that has kept me sane are the cries of mercy before I kill my enemy." Her last few words were spoken slowly. She thought of Gabe for a moment.

"You are not some trophy that I regret being given to. Another part of a warrior's duty to is end any war that he or she is in. Saving you life would result in it to never begin with." She sighed for a moment and paused, finding the right words to counter. She looked over a Cherry, who seemed to still be fixed on the two.

"As for training... you have the mental capacity to with stand such foul remarks, you simply lack some defensive skills that will help protect you in the event that you are alone. Even in your time, there must be vile beings that will try to hurt you? Am I right or wrong?"

[I have to head for bed now. It's 3 in the morning. See you tomorrow, Angel.]

Elleran drew herself up to her full height. She really did know how to reflect her stature just by altering her stance "And therin lays the power. If you accept that that is how they see you then you can use it to your own advantage. Much as you would use a mans weight against him in battle I use his perceptions against him and while your attack may have entered his mind, why would he have even thought of mine?" She asked her with a smile.

"Oh yes Kain, there re people who want me dead, people who want me tortured, people who would do all manner of unspeakable things to me, that is why the royal guard was invented. To keep the delicate trophies safe. Men like showing off their prizes but they are not fools, they know the things they show off are the things others want." She placed her hands behind her back "Should they get past the guard my only protection then is my own wits and I can assure you they are not as addled as this party would like to believe." She looked deadly serious and in Elleran the effect was scary.

"I not only have the mental copacity but I have the physical capacity to withstand a few hard knocks as you may have noticed when he threw me into a tree." Her words were bitter, but returned to their previous complatency. "I have had far worse damage inflicted by way of discipline. Remember, my father is not the calmest man nor is he the most peaceful." She tilted her head slightly "So dear lady, tell me, who is the least trained?" She smiled "Someone who can fight but has no ability to withstand a verbal beating and who's respect is gained by a physical one? Or poor, defenseless, helpless, walked over princess Elleran?" She smiled "I will not fight those who attack me, I will set the fires of rage within an entire country and have them retaliate on my behalf instead without ever saying a word against anyone."

Her smile was sickeningly sweet, and it was easy to believe that her entire country marked her as sweet and innocent. "Defense? I have none in this world bar my scream, mistrust and those I mistrust." She raised her eyes. "In this world I am quite truly harmless and defenseless. I will not deny it, but that is the reason I am so important to you."

She laughed.

Alexandra spinned around came face-to-face with a small creature she'd never seen before. "What..." she began and then caught herself "Who are you?" she demanded, she was become very defensive not knowing where she was and what/who this small creature who had flown...Flown she thought as she stared directly at this creature. She couldn't stop thinking Where am I.. or about her family. She sighed and stared at the creature and demanded to know who she was again.

Not another one, Rosie thought as she picked a piece of dirt off of her dress. "I," she said "am Rosie and I just so happen to be a fairy." She said, matter-of-factly. "And who are you, m'dear?" She asked and flew in a little closer to this stranger's face. She wanted to examine her and see what time period this one was drug in from.

  • She chuckled for a moment, "It is quite true that I would use a man's faults against him, even a woman's. I was trained to be anyone who they wish for me to be and in such, draws me closer to my objective." She drew closer once again, clutching her blade in the process. "Think of this, milady, What would be the product if your guards were to be defeated? Of course, you would scream. That would be the logical outcome; however, your guards are not here and as I understand, I am welcomed to be yours. You scream bares no ill will here. And, I very much doubt you would be able to yell at the top of your lungs in a matter of time.

"You can not gain the rage or trust of others when they do not know you. To all of the people here, with the except of our little group, you are labeled as a traveler, a weak human, a nuisance and yes, even a trophy. You say you withstood a few beatings, have you considered that they were mere physical threats?" Her eye focused solely on Elleran's. Trying to get a feel of her actions through the words she speaks and her facial movements.

"There are lessons that I learn everyday, I am not the prefect warrior. I can... never be that." She looked down for a few moments. Kain walked past Elleran, "You and I, even thought we come from different areas and different times, we are yet the same and different."

Her attention turned to Cherry and Yavi, "I do apologize, we will have to cut things short for a while. I want to be alone for some time."

Alexandra had no idea what to say. She stood for a couple minutes as she studied this creature and the creature studied her. "Where am I?" she finally stuttered. She wanted to be home, waving off her brother and wishing him well. She didn't want to be here, whereever she was.

Rosie sighed. It really was another person being drug over. "You're in Aion, a new world." She said, flying around the girl. She knew it was unbelievable but she didn't know what else to say. She didn't really know how to explain how she had ended up here either. Maybe there's someone in town who can help her... she thought as she flew around the girl. "I'd try to explain how you ended up here but I'm not sure I know myself," she said and finished with "But I can take you to town where you might be able to find some help." She finished and began to fly in that direction.

"And that is why I die here Kain." She replied cooly, moving aside. She didn'y like the idea of letting Kain get too close after what had just happened "My father has already killed one of my brothers with his disciplin. Upon my death he will kill another." She sighed "Mere physical threats? Perhaps, but they have the same outcome." Her smile faded and she fesigned herself to resting against a tree.

"If my guards were to fail then I had only words for protection, much is the same still. If you fail I have only my words to protect me. Yes, they are useless against a fiend such as the one you now train but what more can I have? Anything you can teach me about physical defense would only lead to my death when I return. It is not my lot in life. Such things are not accepted in my world. To them, someone like you would be deemed a demon in the service of the dark Lord. An enemy of the crown and no force on Earth could stop them from trying to destroy you. A woman can not be a fighter in my world. It would mean death." She sighed, exasperated.

"You do not undersstand, but that is fine. You are not from my world and a lot has happened since it existed. Your laws are different. Your people are different. Very little could possably be the same as in mine." She turned her gaze and spoke to the demons "Your world is nothing like mine. How could you understand that I cannot do the thins you think I should?" She asked, without expecting a reply "It is asking the impossable. I know you think I am weak and that I am not a fit companion for you but I have felt that my entire life and it means so very little to know that you think it too. And yet Kain is completly right. We are exactly the same as much as a reflection can be of its origional. Two versions of the same thing." Her fingers rose to braid her hair, her eyes now held none off them. She no longer seemed to care what they thought of her.

Cherry and Yavi stood side by side now. Cherry stood with his arms crossed in front of himself, not saying a word. He listened to Elle's talk of 'punishment'. A sarcastic grin grew on his face, as he thought to himself that she must have no clue what punishment is. But, how could she? She had said herself, that she was protected. But she wasn't from Aion, she knew nothing of the demon hunters and what they were willing to do for even a pint of pure blood. Along with the life time of boasting given any one of them, who could bring down a certain pink haired demon. More than enough had tried though. Only to fail, of course. Yavi hadn't been through what Cherry had, the worse that had happened to Yavi, was being chained to a wall. A story of captivity Yavi kept to himself...
Cherry looked to Kain as she spoke of wanting to be alone. Yavi spoke to her, though, "Alright, if time to yourself is what you wish, we understand." Cherry slowly vanished, as Yavi turned back towards the side of town they had come from. He spoke before walking off, "Dieing here is your choice, not your fate. You know your future, therefore you are able to change it. Inevitability only exists if you allow it. I think its about time, you start writing your own fate, instead of letting it write itself..." With that he began to walk off at a slow pace.

She laughed softly "This is what I speak of." She mused "If I allow you to change me then yes I may change my fate and I may make it home alive but I would not be welcome and I would not survive there and the fate that would await me before they eventually killed me...I would long for death. I would take my own life given the chance." She finished the braid with a shiver and looked up "I will not allow you, any of you, to send me back to that. I will either die here or survive on your good graces." She told him firmly.

"I choose this fate. I choose to allow Kain and yourself to hold my life in your hands and I have to trust you with it. I do not want to but it is the only option available to me." Her eyes met his and her honesty was clear. "I do not expect you to understand. I am a pampered princess. I must be exagerating. But I stand by this choice. I will either die or return as I came, maybe a bit wiser, but otherwise the same."

Yavi almost laughed, "I assure you, my dear, when you return, you will be much wiser to the ways of the outside world. Whether you let it change you or not, is up to you." After he finished, he began walking.

She shook her head and began braiding another section of her hair. She didn't bother to reply. Afterall, what was the point. She didn't need to proove anything beyond the fact that she would not train. The rest? That didn't matter.

Kait gulped slightly. How did the girl know? No one had been able to catch him before. He secretly hoped that they never met on a real heist. Kuro Kage would be bagged and sent to Jail before he had a chance to steal the gem!

"Where you from?" the man asked him.

Kait shrugged. "Not from around here." It was true. He didn't know where he was and nothing looked familiar, thus he wasn't from around here. "And can you get your girlfriend to put away her sword."

He nearly jumped when the sword swung over his head and sniped a few pieces of his hair.

"I am not his girlfriend," Seika said coldly. The nerve of the boy to suggest something like that. Why did everyone they met, assume that? She place her swords back in their sheathe and sat back down in front of the fire. Men.

"Don't mind her. She's always like that," Ita said with a cheerful tone. He quickly caught the shuriken aimmed for his head, making the boy's eyes grow widen in surprise.

"I'm Ita. You are?" Ita asked. Best to learn about the boy. If he wasn't from here, perhaps he knew the way to return back to their worlds. If he was from here, then perhaps some good information would come out of this.

Kait stared at him warily. Should he give his real name? A fake name? Real would be better, easily to spin lies when starting from the truth. "Kait," he introduce himself.

Ita smirked to himself. The boy didn't trust them. Smart move. This little adventure was getting more and more interesting.

Alexandra flushed, Was this creature making fun of her?! she couldn't tell, but she was instantly on the defensive side. "Why would you say something like that?" She snapped "Apparently I'm lost and you're teasing me about something like this?" She asked, almost hissing the last word. "I do not find it funny in the least." She finished and turned to walk away, fuming. She then realized, yet again, that she had no idea where she was. She turned and glared at the girl but then, in a much calmer voice, said "I apologize for my rude behaivor, but I do not like to be spoken to in such a manner." she said.

Rosie was confused, she'd only told the truth and this girl blew her top off. "I'm onl--" she started only to be interuppted and walked away from. Entirely too stunned to move, she stood and watch silently as the girl returned. "I'm sorry, it was not my intention to hurt your feelings," she said and offered "I will take you into town and help you find someone to tell you where you are." She fluttered there in the air and watched the girl's face change from different feelings. "Follow me," she said as she began to head towards the edge of the forest.

After a few moments had passed, and her second braid was complete, Elleran looked up, noticing that both Yavi and Kain had left. She sighed to herself and fingered the gold necklace that hung at her throat. Indirectly she had convinced herself that she needed these people. That had not been her intention. Her teeth bit into her bottom lip as she searched for the answers to her own questions. "Humility." She breathed at last. Her fingers dropped from the gold band and she pushed her body from against the tree to look around. The two were already out of sight.

Another sigh escaped her lips as she figured the duo would probably re-appear in the town, once they had done...whatever it is other people do... Her teeth released her lip and her fingers gathered her skirts once more.

Awww...man that was a good nap! I can just smell the freash air and see the beautiful trees in this forest...wait a minute...f-forest!? But I was in my dormroom when I took my nap! Oh I know, I bet someone's trying to pull a prank on me!

Chris Florence awoke within a vast dark forest. It was beautiful, yet seemed to appear deadly. Standing to his feet he streached some and began to walk in a direction. He figured that he had been taken to his campus's local forest it had happened before. After a few hours of walking he stopped to sit on a stump.

Huh? what's going on!? I could have sworn I know my way back to the campus.... he thought, and started to get nervous. He didn't know where he was and he was getting hungry.

Deep in the heart of Aion Marossa plotted. Sat on her throne. Already so many of these other worlders had appeared, already she feared them, hated them and was amazed by them. She sighed, realizing that they held no magical means to transport themselves into this world, but then, that meant that someone had to have brought them here. But why? For what reason and for what purpose. The only thing Marossa could think of was not a welcome thought.

Her destruction.

Now her mind was focused solely upon the strangers. She had felt yet more arrive and she frowned deeply. She had two options open to her, destroy them, or use them. Now it was just a case of reaching the eventual conclusion before it was too late.

Elleran paused, hearing the sounds of another being in the forest behind her, approaching the town from within the forest itself. She turned quickly. Both Yavi and Kain had gone another way, she was pretty certain the sounds belonged to neither of them.

((*is so far behind* x.x ))

Kait looked at the two people in front of him. The lady with white hair and blue eyes was kinda scary at first. It looked like she lost her temper rather easy. Still his gut told him to stick to her cause while she seemed scary, she was also safe. The man with black and crimsons eyes, Ita, acted friendly, but something about him screamed dangerous. Actually both did, but Kait rather take his chances with the girl then Ita.

The girl gave off the vibe, I'll kill you if piss me off and it'll be a slow and painful death. Where as Ita's vibe was more like I'll slice into tiny pieces one by the one before setting your body on fire and putting you through so much torture you'll wish you were never been bone.

Yeah the girl was safer. Not by much, but it was something. Still he looked at both of them. They were wearing similar clothes to his, so perhaps he was just landed in another city? Weird but Kait had seen enough weird stuff that he wasn't overly effected by anything anymore.

Ita mused quietly. The boy wasn't warrior but he was caution. That was always good sign. Ita would have been more worried if the boy was far too trusting.

A howl echoed through the woods, causing Kait to jump. Ita watched carefully. Yup, the boy was not a warrior. The stealth was good though, perhaps a theif? But judging by his clothes he was from the same time era as they were, what would a teenage boy be doing stealing? So many questions and no answers yet.

After some time of wandering, he was getting worn out and fatigued. Looking forward he thought he could see people, but was too weak to tell, eventually his fatigue and hunger caught up with him and he fell unconcious there in the vast wood. He was weak withouth something to eat, it was odd but that's how his body worked.

Seika muttered quietly to herself. What a rotten day. And she was stuck here with Ita no less. Her mind reeled and planned and asked questions she couldn't answer. How were they going to get home? They certainly weren't in Japan anymore. The people they had seen earlier were more the enough proof. Elves, magic, centaurs? Insane, something completely out of a fairytale.

She glanced back at Ita who was still talking to the boy. Why did she have the growing feeling that she was gonna regret meeting both of these men?

"Look, we're not here to hear to kill... yet," said Ita to Kait. The boy might be a good ally down the road. Stealing would most likely come in handy in this world seeing as Seika and himself didn't have any money. "And we both don't trust each other. But it looks like you're seriously not from around here. When I say not from around here, I do mean this world."

Kait blinked at Ita's words. Wait... what?! "Not from this world?" he asked. That was not possible right?

Ita nodded. "Yeah. You arrived here by falling down a dark hole didn't you? Well we got here a few hours ago, and we've long concluded that this isn't exactly Earth."

  • While she traveled back, Kain's thoughts wandered all over her mind. What was she here? What was her purpose? If she succeeded, would she go back to a land ravaged by blood and death? Or, would it a peaceful place where there was no need for her? So many different questions that had no answers. In the back of her mind, she still left a spot reserved for the verbal fight. It did leave her in mildly goos spirits. Kain learned something and that's what mattered to her sometimes. It did leave her thinking about how she presented herself and the way she treated those around her.

She continued her path into Town. Unbeknowest to her, Kain walked right into a another person. Quickly, she withdrew her sword and took her stance. "Do you want to die today?!?" She growled loudly.

  • "If I died right now, you would be sad for me." Answered Gabe. He placed his hand on her hands and gently lowered them. "Must be troublesome to lose your mind in thought, eh Kain?" His gentle words seemed like music to her ears.

  • "... Yea..." She said slowly. Kain sheathed her katana again. "Where did you go?" She changed the subject.

  • His eyes lit up at the question, "Oh!" Gabe then pulled out a few books from his side bag, "I went to the local book library and bought several spell caster books. I figured I might as well try my hand at magic." He smiled. He seemed to be like a child in a candy store.

  • She looked down for a moment while a puzzled face struck Gabe. "Gabriel, do I come off as... rude? Heartless? A wild beast?" Her words because to go to a whisper.

  • He blinked for a few minutes at her strange series of questions and then smiled. "I believe it is best we chat indoors where no one can hear us. Tell me what happened and I will tell you what I think."

  • She nodded and followed him to a secure place of alone time between the two.

Seika watched. Ita was giving out information so easily? Strange... the boy probably has something they could use then. Oh why was she caring? Those two are bound to be more trouble then it's worth.

She scowled as a little voice whispered in her head. 'You've got such a negative outlook on life.' She pushed the voice aside. Anyone would have a negative outlook on life if they had her childhood.

"You're joking," Kait said.

Ita shook his head. "Nope. I don't know exactly what world we're in but it certainly isn't modern day Japan.

Elleran hesitated. Her curiosity told her to go and see what was ahead of her, but her common sense was screaming at her to go back to the town. Go back to safety. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The sound stopped. Her eyes opened.

She set off...into the forest. Her eyes flashing through the trees as she headed towards the now silent sound. The person behind the sound hadn't been too far away, but now that she could no longer hear him, she was unsure of his exact location. Moments passed before she caught sight of a man laying in the undergrowth.

She hesitated, surveying his body before she ran up to him, kneeling beside him "Hello?" She breathed, not quite sure what was wrong with him.
