She nodded "Neither have I. I have never needed money before, but..." She paused and touched the necklace she was wearing "I think we can survive." She smiled. "Stay with me. I have enough for a few days. We had better return home soon though."

- It wasn't long before Kain returned to the room she and Gabe shared. She found him sitting at the small table taking notes from the book. She walked over and stood before him, "We have to leave tonight. I am not staying here any long, Gabriel." There was a bitterness to it, it was sharp and yet heavy.
- Gabe looked up from his reading and took off his glasses, "How come? Did something happen between you and Yavi?" Here eye brow twitched. "You needn't hide it from me, Kain. I know you best out of everyone. You two were getting along so well. What happened?"
- "I... I saw something horrible. Words can't explained what exactly I saw. It was monstrous, in-human... I wasn't prepared to witness what I did." She walked backwards and sat on the bed, "Those demons are monsters! Worse than that rat bastard General Crichton!"
- Gabe rose from his chair and sat next to Kain. She lent over and started to weep softly. He hadn't seen her like that in a long time. "We can't leave tonight, " he started softly, "We have no way of navigating through the thick forest at night. We'd get lost. Calm down for a few minutes and try to clear your head. We'll get to the bottom of this in the morning."

Yavi had been listening outside their door. He had heard what Kain said. He knew he needed to talk to her, to explain to her about what happened. He knew he couldn't just knock on the door.. no he would wait until morning. It wouldn't be wise to confront her right now. He sighed and walked across the hall to his own room and went to bed for the nite.

Yavi heard the door across the hall open and close. He could tell by the footsteps that is was a man that left the room, Gabe. He waited until the steps were too far away to hear, and, going against his better judgment walked out of his room and back across the hall. He hesitated for a moment, then knocked on the door.

- Kain stood from her seat. She was in a mild daze. This normally wasn't like her. Kain was used to witnessing gory actions. With the stress of this new home and everything effecting her being-witnessing what Yavi had done just snapped her.
Kain stopped at the door, her hand rested on the doorknob. She didn't move it at first and paused for a few more minutes. She slowing turned the knob and opened.
Her eyes lit up, teeth gritting, lips frowning, brow twisted. Kain reached for her weapon, unsheathing it and lashing out. "You disgusting demon!"

Yavi's eyes widened as he jumped backwards, away from her blade. His foot hit the floor at an awkward angle and sent the demon falling to the ground and landing on his back. He looked up at Kain from his position on the floor. "Kain... wait, I can explain. Just listen to me."

Alexandra nodded almost stupidily at Elleran. She felt childish and alone, but most of all she missed her family. She hated feeling so helpless and clingy, but she usually had her family and the comfort of familiarity. She sighed and leaned back in her chair.

- A shadow over her face, eyes hidden behind her eyes. No smile or frown on his lips. She sheathed her sword once again. "Why should I? Telling me lies to justify your kill is meaningless to me."
- Upon hearing the crash upstairs, Gabe ran from the middle of his order. Along with him came a few of the other residents. "Kain! Stop it now."
- She started back to her room ans stopped at the entrance, "I have ceased. I am going to bed."
- Gabe walked over to Yavi and held out his hand, "Explain to me. Whatever you did, it shocked Kain."

- Roxzie had just gotten onto the trail towards town, her legs were tired from her long journey she could barely walk any further, her eyes growing heavy, her stomach wouldn't quit bothering her with the request of food, anything would be suffice for this case.
"Dammit Roxzie tummy is hungry." she grumbled and continued her walking, almost limping from the exhaustion and hunger. "It's been days since Roxzie had a decent meal." still grumbling to herself, she couldn't think of anything but food now, her mind didn't even know where she was walking anymore, she could fall off the trail and run into a wall if the path wasn't a straight way.
Roxzie hit herself in the gut as it made more noises, then she flinched with pain on contact realizing what a stupid thing she did, she wasn't all that bright and often times acted without a single thought of what the consequences would be, in this case hurting herself more than helping her pain.
She finally reached the town and headed for the nearest restaurant without hesitation, there couldn't be anything more important that using what little money she had on her to buy a meal and get some rest and relaxation after her long day. "Roxzie's gonna faint if she doesn't get something to eat." she said a little to loudly in the restaurant, people hearing her would turn and look at her with raised eye brows, but she didn't even notice them this time, often when she would speak to herself she'd get a little uncomfortable, she sat at a table and waited for a waitress to come take her order, she knew what she wanted and that was always fish! "Rawr, I'll have the Smoked Salmon please!" she exclaimed and wagged her tail in her seat, anxious to get her teeth into the moist and flaky salmon.
She sat and waited for her food, squirming around in her seat, her stomach continued to growl at her, she tried to hide it from the people sitting at the table across from her but they continued to stare at her. "Roxzie's had a hard day, okay?" she growled at them and bared her teeth, to try and stop them from staring at her while she nearly starved to death, but what they would be witness to next would mortify them, and probably traumatize them for the rest of their lives.
The smoked salmon arrived and Roxzie's eyes lit up, her mouth hung open and drooled out as she began to dig into it, the waitress had to pull her hand away at lightning speeds for fear it be confused for part of the fish, Roxzie tore the fish to pieces, holding it in her hands and ripping pieces off with her sharp cat teeth, the Mother at the table across from her covered her son's eyes as it was too disturbing for his young eyes to watch. Roxzie's stomach stopped growling as the fish began to disappear from the plate in a flash.
After Roxzie had finished her plate of food and the family at the other table had vacated, she slumped into the seat and smiled with satisfaction, the food hit the spot and she was no longer bothered by the hunger that was killing her gut. "Much better." she spoke softly to herself, then the waitress returned to her and poked her shoulder to get Roxzie's attention, as Roxzie looked up at the waitress she noticed the bill in the waitresses hands. "Uh, oh right money." Roxzie reached in her pouch and handed the exact amount of money to the waitress, and only remaining in that pouch was enough for one night at an Inn, she would need to find a job in the town tomorrow.
Roxzie left the restaurant and began to search the town for the nearest Inn, looking about the town not sure of where the local Inn could be. "Hmmm...If Roxzie were an Inn, where would Roxzie be?" She asked herself and began to sniff the air for the scent of something she might find from an Inn, perhaps pillow feathers or something. She searched high and low before finally finding an Inn of her standards, which was pretty low considering she couldn't get a lot of good jobs in the last town and ending up having to just play watch dog for some nobles, boring stuff.
She eagerly stepped into the Inn door and walked up to the front desk to pay for a room, there wasn't anyone there at the moment so she rang the bell and waited for someone to come to the front desk. "Roxzie does not like waiting all day." she said under her breath, all she could do was lean against the front desk and wait for someone to show up.

Yavi stood and waited a moment before speaking, to let the other residents become out of ear shot. "Kain saw something I'm not proud of. You see, my power falls under the dark arts category. To keep it going, I have to.. umm.. recharge it. And so, every few months I basically have to take someone's soul away. Last nite I would have normally went after a demon hunter. But I saw how that clerk treated Kain, heard the things he said to her..."
Yavi's eyes moved to meet the floor, "I was going to go give him a bruise anyway, so I thought I'd do both things at once. I didn't know she was there..."

Yavi walked out of the tavern and went back to the clothing shoppe. Thankfully, no one had found the man yet. Yavi grabbed the clerk's tip jar off of the counter and emptied it onto the counter top. He then reopened his left hand, and after a few moments of pain, the ice blue apparition that he had taken earlier came back into sight. Yavi caught it in the jar, and tightened the lid. He then, lifted the man onto his back and walked the clerk and the jar out to the edge of the town, closest to Tras' house. He stopped at the town's border and sat both the man and the jar down. Yavi looked to the sky a muttered, "I only have enough power to do this once, so Cherry, you better see it..."
Yavi put the hood of his jacket over his head, and closed his eyes. He moved his bandanna over his closed eyes to shield them even more. He looked down at the ground as a white light rose from his feet. It shot into the air and lit the sky, but only for a brief second before vanishing.
After it was gone, he lifted his head back up, and took the hood off his head. Yavi moved the bandanna back to its original position on top his forehead. A moment later, Cherry appeared beside him.
Yavi picked up the jar and handed it to Cherry. The pink haired demon took one look at the jar that was now in his hands and instantly knew what it was, "But don't you need this? What about your powers"
Yavi shook his head, "He needs it more than me, I can find a demon hunter tomorrow and get one from him. Just take him and it to Tras and get her to fix him, then bring him back here and put him back in his shop." Cherry nodded and vanished as Yavi made his way back to the tavern. He walked upstairs and to his room, where he laid down on the bed. He didn't realize how quickly the weakness would hit him, but he would be fine tomorrow, after he found himself another soul.

Phoenix was trying to ease drop on the two ladies and the fairies conversation hoping it would give her some sort of an idea what she was in for. This was something all new to her and she was having a hard time swallowing all of it still pondering to herself but she could hear bits and pieces of it.
I’m a woman of science. I deal in facts and data found after years of study and hard work not fantasy. Talk of visions, fairies and even magic? These things just don’t make any sense to me. How is any of this possible?
Reaching up she slid her hand across the table to grab the glass of hard liquor the waitress set down for her sitting upright only when it was in her hand. Though it was the hand she cut and it hurt increasable to grip anything with it but she didn’t care. Placing the glass to her lips she leaned her head back and let the cold liquid flow over her lips and down her throat before placing the glass back down on the table.
Her throat burned a little from drinking it strait like that and not chasing with anything, a little reminder that she wasn’t dreaming. At this point and time she wished she was especially when she realized she didn’t think she had any money on her. She felt inside the small pocked sown on the inside of her sleeve and found enough to pay for her nothing more than her drink so she laid it on the table for the waitress to pick up when she came by.
Then she looked at her hand and lightly ran her nails over the ring on her middle finger. She would have to sale it, though it had been in her family for generations it was something she knew she would have to do. The thought made her feel ill and very depressed. Her ring was the last thing she had left of her parents, the only thing that reminded her of where she came from and what was sacrificed for her to keep her life.
What kind of a mess have you gotten yourself into Phoenix? Where is all your knowledge of everything when you need it most? What has all your study become?
She thought making herself feel even lower, if that was even possible. Watching the tiny fairy fly off to the door she looked at the other two women still sitting wondering if they could be in the same predicament she was in. Though this world was a strange place nothing looked even the tiniest bit familiar but the two ladies appeared to be dressed in similar clothes from what she had seen in the history books.
((OOc: Wow so much has happened in that short time I was gone. :? I’m sorry I should have said before so no one waits on me. I do not currently have internet at home so I can only get on when I’m at work and even then I won’t be able to post very quickly. That also means I will be unable to get on during the weekends and it appears that’s when most of the posting happens. If I do not reply to your post in a timely fashion to keep up with the roleplay just continue without me I will read and catch up and hopefully soon have internet at home so I can be more active.))

- Roxzie had finally gotten a full nights rest, the first time in a long time, and on a decent bed too. Lately she'd had to sleep on rocks, which was not very comfortable and it made her complain through the night, whatever animals outside that heard her would vacate the area just so they could get some peace and quiet.
But this night Roxzie was able to sleep, and when Roxzie gets sleep Roxzie is content, and when Roxzie is content, people don't get hurt around her.
She yawned and stretched her arms out as she walked downstairs to the lobby of the Inn, she needed to go out into the town and find herself a job so she could replenish her supply of money. She would take her leave of the Inn, waving to the Inn keeper as she left, then heading out the door she would down the streets to find the local pub, perhaps it would have some bulletins listed for jobs. "Roxzie needs to get some monies, or Roxzie won't last another night in this town." she said to herself as she walked down the street towards the pub, looking about the place so she could memorize where everything was for later.

Upon seeing Yavi leave Elleran rose to her feet. Her eyes remained upon Alexandra for a moment "Excuse me please." She smiled. Then turning away from her, walked quickly to the bar, standing a little behind Gabe and between him and Pheonix "Gabe?" She breathed "What happened?" She asked. She didn't realize Yavi had done anything, she simply distrusted the demon. Cherry was the one she'd pin for anything monstrous, yet she had a feeling the story would hold Yavis name. - Gabe turned around to Elleran question of concern, "Lady Elleran, something happened between Kain and Yavi. Kain explains one side while Yavi does the other. It's simply a form of strong over the weak, but it may have had a terrible effect on Kain's mind." He gently picked up his tea. He ordered that instead of the liquor. "It may not be seen, but Kain is just as delicate as you are, Lady Elleran. I worry about her sometimes." He sighed and took another sip.

She nodded "So that is why they are so feared and disliked." She mused. her fingers absently played with the edges of her sleeves as she finished her sentance. The information didn't suprise her at all. In fact she was beginning to think about why Cherry had attacked her in the first instance. Things were beginning to make sense to her. Not that she was any more likely to forgive the monster.
