• "To kill another, such a truly vial act." Gabe quickly moved in front of the clerk. Kain will probably lecture me later on what I am about to do, but I have no choice."If you are so bold, I simply ask that you pick your quarrels with myself. This can easy be taken outside."

The clerk pointed the blade at Gabe, "out of my way boy or that demon's blood won't be the first on my blade."

• Gabe smiled, "Just now, you remind me of a punk that said the exact same phrase. He was later critically injured to where he couldn't move for the rest of his life." He closed his eyes and raised his arms, "I will not move from this spot. Try to have that blade strike me, scratch me or cut my hair and clothing."

The clerk, lowered the blade for a moment. "Alright, but if I succeed you will move yourself out of my way and let that monster and his female friend be slain."

• Gabe shook his head, "Nope. Can't do that. I am civilized, you are primal. I can't guarantee my well being on the lives of others. Such a deal would be horrid. Either attack me, or go home. Those are your two options."

"In that case, I'll slay you first, then those two. If that is what it takes to rid this town of that demon."
The clerk stepped forward and made a slashing motion with the machete at Gabe's midsection.

• As a strategist, it was his job to see the opponents moves and counter them. And as such, he easily saw the on-coming attack. Gabe picked the chair next to him and held it before his body to take the blow while stepping back a few inches, clearing his body out of contact.

The clerk grew instantly frustrated and flung the blade towards Gabe's head.

• Gabe stepped back a few more feet and threw the chair pieces at the clerks feet.

The chair pieces hit the clerk's leg. The man angrily huffed, "Fine, but I'll catch that couple when you're not around, and then their body guard won't be there to save them."
He then, turned and walked back out of the tavern's door.

• Gabe smiled slightly, "Heh... I was a little lucky. If that chair wasn't there in the first place, I don't know what I would have done." He picked up the broken pieces and laid them over the table. "I really am sorry, Ms. Barkeep. I will pay for the damage of this item right now."

Minutes after the clerk left, another patron entered. Strands of pink hair peeking out from a white hood, would hint to who it was. Even with his head covered by his jacket's hood, Cherry's disguise wasn't too deceiving. He looked around slightly, until he spotted Gabe. He walked up behind him and tugged at Gabe's sleeve to gain his attention. A closer look would show that Cherry was hiding somethign under his jacket.

• Gabe sighed happily, now all of this money was gone. When he felt his sleeve being tugged, he looked over to see Cherry. "Why hello there my young friend. What do you have to show me?"

Cherry looked up at Gabe, resulting in his hood falling off. A child-like grin across his face. For some reason, the pink haired demon felt comfortable around this human. "Umm... Yavi, is he still here, I have somethign to give him..."
Cherry looked down, and he pulled a vial from inside his jacket. The glass vial looked about seven inches long, inside looked to be a greyish, smoky substance.
"Its from Tras, she says it will help him..."

• "Oh, I see. very well then. We should get that to him as soon as possible." Gabe walked over to grab his items. He nodded to Elleran and motioned Cherry to go before himself to the second level.

Cherry nodded back at Gabe and started up the stairs. He walked down the hallway, until he reached the room Yavi had used the previous nite and knocked on the door. When Yavi didn't answer, Cherry gave a sigh and vanished for a moment, before opening the door from the inside of the room to let Gabe in, if he wished to follow.

• Gabe only smiled, "It's not my business. You and Yavi take care for the night. Kain and I will see you both in the morning." Gabe nodded his head and started for the other direction to his and Kain's room.
  
• When he entered their room, he sighed once again. Gabe looked at the books on the table across from the bed. He decided against it to continue researching. He took off his bag and his glasses. Next, his over robe. To a new comer, Gabe didn't look very strong, rather weak due to his tall stature and his small sized hands. But, with out his over robe on, Gabe looked very strong, and very muscular.
  
  He looked at himself in the mirror and crossed his arms while frowning. Canceling out his thoughts, Gabe grabbed the extra blanket over the bed and laid on the floor.

Cherry nodded to Gabe, and closed the door back. He then walked over to the bed and woke up Yavi. "Cherry? What are you doing here?"
Cherry handed Yavi the vial, "Tras told me to give this to you. She said she wanted to you have it, that it would refuel your powers all the way. She says, its a demon..."
Yavi looked down at the vial in his hands, "But I've never taken a demon's soul before..."He silently thought for a moment, before opening the vial. The grey, smoke-like substance floated out from the glass and Yavi opened his left hand to it.
The substance landed in Yavi's had where it was pulled into his body. He then, sat still on the bed.
"How do you feel?"
"Well, I feel fine.... much better actually. Why don't you stay here for the rest of the nite? Theres no sense in going back to Tras' right now, you should sleep."
Cherry nodded and moved to the second bed in the room, Yavi always made sure to get a room with two beds, in case Cherry needed a place to spend the nite.
Even though the twins fought each other sometimes, they still treated each other like brothers.

• The rain had finally stopped and Roxzie could walk about town again, she continued her look for a help wanted ad, but nothing seemed to be around. "Dammit, Roxzie needs a job!" she yelled out in the streets, people indoors could hear her screeching voice.
  
  Roxzie became frustrated to the point of kicking at the ground as she walked down the streets, people tended to back off when they saw her scowling about like this, she looked like she was about to rip someone's ears off if they weren't careful around her.
  
  Something caught Roxzie's attention from the corner of her eye just then, a help wanted ad in the window of a bakery...wasn't exactly the kinda job Roxzie's equipped for, since she's in a battle suit right now, thick leather armour and a couple twin daggers on her belt, she wasn't really in a "Bakery" kinda uniform, but a job is a job, if she can get it.
  
  Roxzie stepped into the clean, bright white bakery and up to the counter where a young woman was working, the young woman saw Roxzie and thought she was a little out of place at first, but did her job "How may I help you?" she asked in her soft voice, Roxzie turned around and looked about at all the delicious frosted pastries, the warm soft dinner rolls, and every other piece of food about, she drooled on the floor. "Um...you're uh...you're drooling." the woman at the counter said to Roxzie, and pointed out to her lips. "Oops, Roxzie's bad." Roxzie said as she wiped up her drool and got a little embarrassed about the incident.
  "Well Roxzie is looking for a job..." she said with a hand behind her head, knowing she's a little out of her league in this place as far as jobs go, of course...as far as devouring food goes Roxzie's definitely in the right place. "Ah I see! do you have exper---y'know I'm not gonna bother asking that one." the woman realized asking her for experience in a bakery would be silly considering Roxzie's outfit.
  
  "Well, Roxzie is a people person!" Lie number one spilt from Roxzie's lips, "And she can contain herself from eating food around her very well!" lie number two.
  "Roxzie thinks she could do a good job in this bakery!" lie number 3, it would be a disaster to have Roxzie working here. "Well I'll talk to the manager about it, we're in dire need of a new worker here, our last one quit on us." The young woman let Roxzie know despite her lack of experience, she's got a good chance unless someone else comes in with some experience.
  
  "Roxzie looks forward to working here!" lie number 4, and with that Roxzie looked down at her battle outfit. "Um..does Roxzie get a new outfit for the job?" she asked the young woman at the counter, "Oh yes, of course...can't have you working here in that...outfit, can we?" the woman replied with a slight pause in there, still kinda dumb founded by Roxzie's appearance in the bakery and not the battle field.
  
  The Manager comes out of the back and sees Roxzie standing there, he drops a box of cake on the counter for the young woman to place on display. "This lady, Roxzie...would like to have a job here, sir." the young lady told the manager of the place, the owner of the place. "Ah I see, does she have any experience?" he asked "Nope, but we're kinda desperate at this point aren't we?" the reply was quick and subtle. "Well as long as she can do a good job, I'm sure she'll be a valuable asset to the work environment."
  Roxzie nodded to that and they shook hands on it, she was hired as a clerk at the bakery, oh what fun it will be to see Roxzie deal with people all day long.
  
  "Um...Roxzie needs money for sleep sleep." Roxzie said in a childish and cute voice, in hopes to get paid in advance. "Well I can't have an employee sleeping on the job." The owner said, thinking for a moment. "Alright, I'll give you some of your weeks pay so you can get yourself a room at the local Inn, but if I find out you've taken off with the money..." his voice lowered into an almost devious tone as he places his hands on the counter and stares into Roxzie's eyes..."I'll have to throw something big at you!" he laughed at his own humour, which was strange to Roxzie and the young lady, they both merely staggered a chuckle under their fake smiles.
  
  "Come on, I'll give you your outfit for work." The young lady said and escorted Roxzie into the back so she can get changed, and try on her new outfit.
  A few moments later Roxzie walks out wearing a little yellow dress with an apron that has the bakeries famous chocolate cake pictured on the front, and a small yellow bow in Roxzie's hair for decoration, she was not happy wearing this outfit, but she required wearing it for the job. "My my, don't you look cute." the owner smiled and stifled a chuckled as he couldn't help but laugh at this warrior girl dressed up this way.
  "Roxzie is only doing this for the money...Roxzie does not enjoy little girly dresses...Roxzie hates cute." scowling Roxzie huffed and went back to get changed into her battle outfit, it was getting late and the bakery would be closed soon, so Roxzie would get some of her weeks paycheck and get herself a room at the Inn again.
  "Thanks for the job." Roxzie thanked the owner of the bakery for the job as she headed out of the door and back to the Inn, happy she got herself a job at last and pay for the Inn and a little for some food she could grab from a Deli on the way to the Inn.

As Cherry had entered the building Elleran had taken a few steps away from Gabe. She didn't even bother to wish him a good night before he left her. She sipped her tea quietly, thinking. This wasn't a good idea, her thoughts were not happy ones.

Phoenix had been so entranced in her own thoughts she lost track of time as well as what was going on around her. She knew such things as time travel where impossible so she shook her head trying to forget the thought that the two ladies could somehow be from the past. But just maybe it could happen? There had already been so many things happening this day that couldn’t be explained, there was only one way to find out. It had been years since the last time she spoke to another person, normally she kept her robotics to keep her company, in the world she was from kindness wasn’t something offered. She didn’t expect much anyway but she still had to try and ask for help no matter how hard it was. She swallowed her pride and turned around to face the woman she heard the gentle man call Lady Elleran, taking a deep breath she spoke.

Excuse me ma’am I was wondering if there would be any way you could help me? I seem to have gotten myself lost and well.� She rested her hand on the back of her head scratching it a little before continuing a little embarrassed of the whole situation. “Well I’ve seem to have gotten myself lost.� Phoenix was a quiet person by nature so it was hard to hear her voice over the loud roar of the people surrounding but it was soft and gentle and easy to extinguish from everyone else’s. The words slipped over her lips a little easier than she expected so she just waited for the woman’s reply hoping she would be able to at least point her in the right direction.

Pheonixs words cut through Ellerans thoughts and she looked up with slightly glassy eyes. "I am sorry." She breathed "I am not from this world. I can not help you." She breathed. A pause. Elleran realized who was speaking to her. "Yet something tells me that neither are you." She ventured. She marvelled at how easy saying that was becomming. And she wondered if she would ever make it home.

Pondering on the woman’s words for a minute she finally spoke turning her entire body around to face her. “From this world? What do you mean by this are you saying this is a complete different planet or something?� Placing her hands in her lap she toyed with the bandage around her cut hand, it was time to change the bloody one but she didn’t wish to rip her clothes more than she had to. It would appear she might be here for who knows how long and with only one set of clothes it was going to be a long while for sure. “This all feels like nothing more than a dream, perhaps I hit my head when I fell and now I’m hallucinating.� Phoenix was still trying to come up with any possibility other than what was becoming obviously clear in front of her.

Elleran shook her head and stared at her tea. Planets were something she was not familiar with and didn't know how to answer the question. Of course she still understood the way of things as the sun actually moved through the sky, was tiny, the world went on forever and was flat. 12th centuary knowledge really was retarded...in the true sence of the word.

When the woman didn’t answer she sighed deeply and stared out into space her eyes glossing over slightly while she was deep in thought. It didn’t even dawn on her that she wouldn’t understand, if her clothes gave off any indication of where she was from it would be the early centuries. A time that would know nothing of the way the universe functions or how vast it stretches. “I apologize I got caught up in trying to figure things out that I’m being rude. My name is Phoenix. Do you happen to have any clue on what’s going on or are you just as blind about it as I am?� Focusing her eyes again she looked at the woman with extreme sadness in her eyes, though it had been there all along now it was more noticeable the idea of being lost did not sit well with her.
