Toki listened to the tune as the bird rested on her shoulder. It reminded her of her mother and the songs she used to sing to her. She closed her eyes to reminisce yet kept her hand on the earth, for it would warn her if Pat were to attack. “What tune are you playing?” asked Toki, intrigued to see what kind of song he was playing.

Pat stared into Toki's eyes, it was as if he could see into her, which he couldn't but he had learned from the monks that a lot could be told from a person's eyes. Her eyes seemed kind, although they had seen much trouble, he felt as if he could trust her. He placed his mandolin into his lap, wiping off any dirt that had clung to the fine wood of the instrument.
"It's a simple tune that I learned from the monks, however the tune has a magician's touch. This particular tune allows me to see things as they should be. I'm sorry for my rudeness, allow me to introduce myself. I am Brother Pat Celis, musician to the gods." his wings mimicked a bowing motion while he remained seated.

She smiled at Pat, something she hasn't done in awhile. "My name is Toki Long, alchemist of the Northern Region." She offered a finger for the "bird" to land on. "I come from the distant land of Wales, where I learned sorcery and alchemy." She said, though there was a stern look on her face, as if she carried a deep burden.

His eyes lit up and his fingers danced across the strings, picking a tune that was fast and nearly too upbeat. A visual representation of the music came off the strings drifting upwards and tangling a web of colors. Colors burst as the music hit a crescendo and faded as Pat ended his musical outburst.
"A sorceress you say? I have been blessed by the gods with my mandolin and its incredible powers. Is there a chance we were meant to meet here?" He smiled.

Toki smiled. "Maybe it was Fate's decision." she said as she touched the ground and the flowers started to open up. A calm aroma filled the air as it made Toki feel relaxed. "Are you on any important mission that requires you to come to the city?" she asked.

Amaya walked along the forest floor barefoot. Not wanting to ware out her shoes, she took them off and backed them in her bag on her back. The ground was nice and cool.
She watched her step, being carefull not to fall over and tree roots as she walked through the forest. She had a smile on her face as she hummed to herself, her cloak flapping behind her in the wind.
"It's a beautiful day for a walk. To bad I don't get out to often."
She said to herself.

James had travelled far to find the city he was searching for and finnaly while walking through the woods, he realized he was completely lost. "Oh this is just perfect, I travel all this way and get lost in the first forest I find." he stoped for a moment to contemplate his situation.

Ricca walked around and looked around. She hummed as she walk. Ricca had nothing to do but walk in the sun and feel the warmth of the rays.

Amaya stopped and quickly hid behind a tree after spotting someone ahead. She slowly started to climb up the tree untill she reached the nearest branch and pulled herself up to sit on it. She watched the person below, studying him. He was tall, with short black hair and wore ragged clothes.
"Hmmm..." She thought to herself,"He looks a bit lost..."
She watched him a bit longer in the shade of the tree, trying to decide whether or not to talk to him.

James thaught he heard rusting in the tree's, but decided it was probably just an animal or something. Although being cautious has kept him alive this long in his life he decided to ask the obvious anyway "Hello?" he said in an inquisitive manner.

"My name..." He stalled as if he could not remember it, "My name is Sanz... I am cursed with Lycanthropy, and have wandered alone for most of my life. I am sorry that I have imposed myself on you. I did not mean to bother you, Ms. Lynn. I was just admiring your wonderful home."
He looked down, blushing, completely embarrassed, like a meek child even though he was much an adult. In some who are rejected by society, manifests a rejection of society, but in Sanz, only a subjected inferiority had grown to where he felt that he was no better than a virus, and he had spread the affliction before, not by his choice. Only through the choice of wrath.

"Hello there." Called Amaya from her tree, smiling. She jumped down, landing gracefully on her feet and resting her hand on the tree.

"That's fine. You can still stay here." Lynn replied after a pause. "I don't really get too many visitors... It's nice to have company."
She finished the soup, and poured some into a wooden bowl, then got out a metal spoon.
"Here you are.." The dark haired girl murmured, as she set the soup before the man. She then sat down across from him in the other chair. "So, where do you come from?"

"Oh? And how do you know my name James, before I have introduced myself?"
She asked, still smiling.
"Or have we met before and I have forgoten?" She crossed her arms, tapping her lips in thought, as she searched through her memory.
"No, I'm sure we've never met before. But anyways..."
She shook her head and looked back up at him.
"You seem to be lost James."

He accepted the bowl graciously, salavating at the delectable smell. "I... I do not remember. I've just wandered, from forest, to town, to forest again. I have no place to call a home." He timidly sipped at the soup, the flavor seeming to overwhelm his senses. Warmth played on his face and he gained a gracious smile. "It is very good. Thank you."

"I'm glad.." Lynn smiled happily. "You can stay here for a few days if you'd like. That way you can heal up.."
She trailed off for a moment.
"Some of the animals have been restless lately... Do you know if anything is going on that might cause that?" The young woman finally asked, looking into Sanz's eyes.

"And where are you headed James?" She asked as she stood two feet from him. She looked up into the sky at the sun and figured it must be past noon. She then looked back down at James and studied him for a minute.

James smiled "I'm heading towards the city, and I was doing well untill I happened into these woods. I guess I must have gotten turned around. You wouldn't happen to know the way would you?" he asked inocently smilling while sizing her up in case she was an enemy in disguise.

She smiled. "Yes I do. In fact I was heading there when I spotted you."
She pointed to two old trees where a barely noticable path was." Just through those tree's, follow the path till you get to the end. There will be a willow tree, go under it's leaves and walk to the other side. There will be an opening to the city through the walls."
She said as she walked towards it.

Pat felt safe here with this magi alchemist, almost as safe as he felt back home at the monastery. At the thought of his fellow brothers, his wings picked up and his tail unraveled about his waist. He made eye contact with Toki and smiled in attempt to reassure her, as he was used to people being afraid of his draconian lineage. He held his mandolin close to him as he began to unfold a story of his.
"I was taken in by a monastery up further along the mountain trails and they saw me as a message from their gods as a way to right the wrongs that were going to happen, which are now on their way to happening. They sent me out a few months ago to head to the city and see what was going wrong and if I could join a fellowship of others similar to me to halt this brewing trouble. I believe that you could be one of those that I was set out to find by my brothers. Are you too heading towards the city?"

She giggled at his question. "I live in the city. How else would I know about the secret path in and out of the city walls?"She stopped infront of a giant willow tree before going in uder it's branches and leaves. "Why are you going to the city James?"
