This tale is about our world Celes Ilfina and the evil creature Calamity. Celes Ilfina is a beautiful world filled with pure blue seas and a beautiful landscapes. Calamity fell from the sky causing chaos to our world long ago when the world first began. A thousand years ago, legendary heroes fought the evil creature and won, now peace reigns through out the land. Right now in Celes Ilfina it is the Year 1800 M.A. (Mana Ages) the world is florished with magitechnology(machines fueled by magic) and beautiful landscapes enriched by the great spirit tree Yggdrasil. Since not everything is as it seems war still breaks out, people get hurt, yet there are still times of peace in the world. But now a threat long forgotten from the Dark Ages is being resurrected by the people who long to control the world. In this rp you have a choice to be people who are neutral, good, evil or both.

Smart, witty and independent are three words that describe Quinn without touching on her personal desire to avenge her family and the wrong events that occurred. Before the murders occurred, as she calls them, Quinn was a bubbly elf who believed in the technologic era that was taking place. However after her parents and brother were killed she turned and sought out to get rid of those who were bringing technology to life. Her smart and witty intelligence has allowed her to learn the use of magic and her element. Her independence shows that she has no want or will to work with anyone but herself and her summoning.

Special Abilities:

Her intelligence comes from her species but her special ability comes in the form of her capability to wield magic. She found in her grand-mothers hope chest a book of spells which she uses or has memorized. Her magic skills are not numbered in many. She can use her element as a weapon, dark energy balls of anti-matter, and she knows minimal healing spells. Other than that her magic concerns deflecting objects, making shields, picking objects up with balls of anti-matter and lastly the resurrection spells to bring back Calamity.

Biography:

Her life was simple. Parents, mother and father, brother and summoning spirits. Everything stayed the same with technology coming in on the area of her childhood like a storm. At five years old her village had counted only one hundred and fifty people within a close knit family.


But ten it has nearly quadrupled hitting at least six hundred. Then suddenly economic egotistical developers came in and purchased enormous amounts of land, Quinn’s farm included and soon the elves found their village was no longer a close knit community but instead a violent and industrial city.

At twelve her brother was nineteen and no longer hunting for food like their tribes recommended. Instead he worked steadily in a factory which after seeing the benefits of simple work, both of her parents soon joined too.

Quinn refused to take a job as she saw the way her world changed. As time progressed she grew closer and closer to her grandmother who was too old to complain and too old to work. Her grandmother taught her basic Elvin values and skills. As was expected her grandmother passed away when she was sixteen. It was a gentle leave, through sleep, and yet to Quinn it felt like she had been deserted.

The only thing that brought her out of her slump was her wonder of a brother. He made her laugh again and helped her sort through her grandmother’s things. It was then that Quinn found an ancient book of spells which touched on something she had never experienced before; magic. Years later, once again bubbly and close to her family (despite their jobs within the factory) she had mastered a handful of spells from the text and its old Elvin dialect. But at twenty the unexpected happened; an accident. She had completed school just a year ago and had taken the time to train and learn battle skills like all Elves in her clan often did. Despite being female Quinn was accepted for her valuable skills as a fighter and archivist and her reputation was known throughout the village as the one who refused to work. She simply refused to industrialize which many failed to notice and the accident that murdered her family will keep her away from technology forever.

It was on a regular day that she walked to see her brother and parents at the end of their shift. It almost late into the day, the sun just beginning to paint the sky with a mixture of oranges and pinks. However upon her arrival the sight of healers and friends and hundreds of those she did not know told her that something had happened. They whispered and mumbled; children poked their parents at the sight of her. She caught wind of word before the elders even approached her. A freak accident had happened. A welding machine had exploded killing the three people who worked around it; her mother, her father; her brother had all perished in pain and agony. No one had helped them. The room had been sealed before the fire spread otherwise. It was deprived of oxygen and the interior sprinkler system ensured that once the doors were open that the ashes would not flare up. Even if they had survived the blast they would have suffocated and it tore her apart. They had given her family no chance at survival.

After the accident she knew what she had had to do. Quinn collected everything she owned and took with her the knowledge of Calamity; a legend of which her grandmother had taught her from beginning to end. She ignored the words of caution. To Quinn technology was murdering, not developing and through the resurrection of Calamity; she would ensure that the simple life would be reinstated. Those who tried to help her only got in her way. She was independent. Quinn worked with only herself and to those that opposed her battles ensued. Soon her name was well known and feared.

The angel of calamity was about, they said, collecting together pieces of an ancient text that told of the resurrection grounds where the Dark Ages lay in slumber.

Quinn was unique when it came to the appearance of an elf. Her height was one thing that made her different than most others; she was abnormally short. Her height at full was only 5�6 making her a shrimp compared to even her grandmother. Secondly she always chose to keep her hair short while even her brother kept his hair at waist length. To everyone she was the oddball and luckily to her it was no bother. Her hair was always been a silvery blue tint, a trait of her family, along with darker skin and tribal markings on her back, arms and neck.

When it comes to an outfit her clothes are rich in fabric and soft to the touch. Usually she is spotted wearing outfits with a less feministic feel and look that are in a variety of pastel colours. She favours purple often as it is the same colour as her element and her favourite.

During training, a mysterious person attacked Rion. Rion fights him and wins but before Rion could finish the mysterious assailant, the mysterious person cast a spell which scattered the source of Rion's power the 'Aura Gems' in his sword, then he was shot by a memory spell. Rion fell from the Illusia Mountain Tops and landed on the ground floor. Blood was all over him. Yet, he was still alive.

Alicia was walking through the forest she could see far in the distance a light shined through the thickness of the woods. As she drew near she could see the light forming into a large opening, She had made it out of the forest at last. I could use some water She thought as she made her way down the hill to the lake that seemed to be at the center of the clearing.

Jack settled down slightly is hair messed up by the wind. He had been fighting with a good friend just minutes before and it was bothering him. He flinched slightly as he walked towards the forest trying to smooth back his hair, ears lying flat with anxiety. He shifted again. "Why did I speak such fowl words," he asked himself slightly disgusted.

Alicia kelt by the lake as she stared into the water. She made bowl shape with her hands and placed them in the cool water, She scooped up the water drinking it slowly.

Rion came across a huge lake, he saw a beautiful girl drinking some water, "Ugh this pain...I..I don't think I can last much longer." Rion fell near the edge of the lake.

Alicia looked up to the sound of voice, she saw the man fall as she ran to him picking him up she laid his head on her lap. "Hold on everything will be alright" She said in a sweet voice as she placed her hand on his wound she used the power of water to heal his wound.

Rion's eyes opened up slightly, "..." Then he closed his eyes again.

Alicia finished and laid him down on the ground placeing her bag under his head for suport as she moved on the otherside of him so she could reach the water. She scooped up some water and brought it to him, holding up his head she broguht her hand to his mouth.

Alicia smiled seeing his eye's opend. "You are welcome" She said in soft gentle voice as she scoped up more water for him to drink. "Tell me how did this happend" She asked worried that whatever had done this woud come again.

"I...I don't..know." Rion said, "I don't even know who I am!" Rion sat up, "Ahh...uhn." Rion could still feel the pain.

"Stop you must rest I only can heal but the pain will stay for at least and hour or so" She said as she laid him back down she rubed behind his ears then lifted his head and pulled out a blanket from her bag, She laid his head back down on his bag and covered him with the blannket. "You can use my blanket I don't need one" She said as she sat there watching over him.

"I..I'm fine." Rion said as he blushed.

"B-but..I can't just.." Rion stopped talking, his hair and his eyes changed color. Just then a monster attacked. Rion grabbed the girl and jumped out of the way of the attack.

Alica fell on the ground and looked back at the monster. "stay here" She said as she grabed her bow and arrows. She grabed one arrow and placed it on the bow, drawing back she relased nailing it in the eye.

Rion stared at the monster with his eyes.

The monster took off the arrow in his eye, it regenerated the wound. It started to shoot lightning at the girl.

Rion saw that he had a sword, "Huh? How do I use this?" Rion suddenly remember his name and how to fight.

Alicia jumped to the side as the bolts jsut missed her. She stood up and ran towards the creature makeing a leap in the air she landed on it's back as she bagain to shoot arows in it's brain.
