"In my world? Does time go differently here? You knew about us didnt you? I mean, our world. We had no idea your universe existed. Have you been studying us? What do you know about humans?" Sephy moved her hand back to her side as the girls had not wanted to touch her. She smiled adoringly. "Millie, thats such a lovely name"

"Indeed, it does." she nodded. "And, I wouldn't say studying. We knew about your world, but our guardians told us never to open the gate to it. So I know almost nothing about your kind." she looked down and blushed when she complimented her name. "Thank you. I'm afraid I didn't catch your name."

"Oh, I'm Persephony, Sephy for short. How different is time her? Is it faster or slower?"
She smiled at the grin on Millies face.
"What are the cosiquenses of my opening the gate?"

(Well, the plot is just something vauge to follow. I'm not expecting it to turn out the way I want. Go ahead. I don't mind ^.^)

"Oh, twice as fast, my dear." She ran her hand over her tattoo before she answered, "I do not know why we are not to open the portal to your world. But our guardians know more than us, so it's best to listen to them."

Anxious to change the subject, she asked, "Would you like to see something different from what you regularly see in your world?"

"Yeah! That would be so cool. Wait... You mean that if an hour goes by here, its only been a few minutes in my world?" She had a confused look on her face. "That means we could stay here for a few weeks, and only be gone for a few days"
Sephy had a bubbly feeling in her stomach. She wanted to see the thing that Millie had to show her.

Millie ignored Sephy's question. Something prevented her from telling Sephy anymore about her world. So she just decided to skip to what she wanted to show her.

"Alright, are you ready? Follow me," she said, as she walked to a giant leaf not too far away. She stood on it and gestured her to do the same.

Sephy followed Millie to a giant leaf. What was she doing? 'Oh Gosh' Sephy thaught. 'Things in this world are so different!' She did not know what to expect from Millie and her leaf.

Even though Millie was not touching Sephy's hand, she could still read her mind. She giggled at her and shook her head. "Okay, so hold on tight, because I don't want you to fall." she warned as she grabbed her hand.

Millie closed her eyes as her right arm began to glow. Slowly, the giant leaf began floating upward. They were in mid air!

Minnie stood there on the ground watching the giant leaf levitate "Holy shit" she murmered as she blinked a couple of times to see if she wasn't dissillusional or just plain crazy or something.

"But.. How?" she asked Abra, "This is sooo cool, you guys are so lcuky to live here where things like this, wait, are there more cool things like this that could be done??" she suddenly was overly curious, this was going the right way, the way she loved it

Sephy screamed. Her heart had manouvered its way into her mouth and it was beating so fast she thaught her teeth would fall out. She grabbed out to take hold of something but there was nothing aroundher. They were flying! They had already gone abouve tree level and Sephy had failed to point out that hse had a sevear fear of hights. She opend her eyes, which had been shut tight for the past minute. It was beautiful. She could see miles! She smiled at Millie and said "This is amazing. How are you doing this? Do you have powers?"

Millie giggled and nodded, as they made their way back down. "Everyone here is born with one or two powers of their very own. It's a beautiful thing, really."

((Oh sure, sweet..tooth! That would be cool. I'll pm you my unfinished idea. xD))

"You say you have two powers? What is the other one? Not to be rude" She smiled.
"Minnie? Are you worried? Do you think we should stay for a few days? It wouldnt be that long in our world, and it would give us tim eto figure out how to get home." Sephy took hold of Minnies hand. She shook her head to get her hair into a good position. She always did that, as she didnt like her silky black hair to look flat. Not that it could as it was naturally wavey. She viciously blinked her hazel/green eyes as the soft wind blew dust into them. She turned to face the others. "What do you think guys? Should we stay? I'm not doin it without you" She looked Callum in the eyes and smiled.

"Oh, I'm one of those who only have one power." Millie didn't know why she didn't tell her about how she can read minds, but she felt like Sephy wouldn't trust her if she knew.

"Oh, so some people have two powers and some others have one? Wow, this is so cool" Sephy smiled. She had no idea of Millie's friends abilities, but she trusted Millie and just hoped that she could her friends just as much.

"Well, yes." she replied. At least that was the truth. She wasn't at all used to lying, especially to a soon-to-be friend.

Then, a thought began to arise in the back of her mind: Was she even allowed to show a regular human her powers? Oh she was so stupid! Her face showed her obvious worry, so she tried to hide it.

"Tell me more about your world." she queried, in order to get Sephy's mind off of hers. Even though she wasn't for sure that it wasn't okay to tell people in the other world about the one she was in, she didn't want to risk it.

Sephy saw a look of pure teerror in Millie's eyes, but she decided to just ignore it. Millie probably didnt want to talk about it to her, after all, Sephy was a new commer and probably still could not be trusted by the people of this world. She smiled a lovely smiled a Millie. "Erm ,well, what do you want to know? We dont have anything almost as cool as the things you guys have" She paused. "No powers or anything like that." She did her dazzling smiled once more and then looked at Millie with curiosity. She hoped Millie would ask her all about her family, then she could explain all she knew of her forgotten parents and deciest sister.

Millie entered Sephy's mind once more. Finding out what she wanted Millie casually asked, "Why don't you tell me about your family? I'm sure you love them dearly. They're lucky to have you." she said, with a sincere smile.

Being able to read minds, you would think that Millie would be used to it, never feeling guilty. But Millie was just one of those people that felt guilty about every wrong thing she did. And reading minds wasn't exactly a good thing. Sure she read her friends' minds, but only when she wanted to find out straight facts, not constantly figuring out what a person is thinking. She didn't know what made this case any different.

But Millie just ran her hand through her hair and looked back at Sephy, waiting for her to reply.

"Well" Sephy sighed. "My mother and father died when I was 4. I have known nothing of a real family since then. I live with Minnie's family. I had my own sister once, but she died two years ago or cancer" She smiled weakly at Millie. "Are you okay? You look a little worried?"

She felt like a moron.

"Oh, I'm fine." she answered. What else could they possibly talk about? She didn't want to bring up her world, and she definitely didn't want to talk about Sephy's new family. So..she fainted.

An odd habit of hers when she was overwhelmed, or tired. But others just say she was a drama queen.

Sephy screamed. "Oh God! Whats wrong? Are you okay?" Sephy shouted. She knew the obvious answer but thaught it best to ask if she was okay. She was paniking now and did not know what to do, and so, she slapped Millie around the face. After she realised what she had done she apolagized over and over. Not that Millie could hear her.

Millie blinked a couple of times before her eyesight was back to normal. She sighed heavily and rubbed her now blush cheeks. "Ouchie." she frowned, but she was just joking around. "I'm fine. Thanks for caring." she said, smiling. "It's some weird thing that happens to me every now and then. Not really the best trait, eh?" she said, shrugging.
