Dimitrius smiled as he quickly dressed and went into Ria's room to wake her up. "Ria, love. Time to get up. Ari has a surprise for you," he said with a smile as he gently woke the younger elf up. When she was awake, he told Ria of a younger elf she was to meet and that instantly got her up and awake. Chuckling, Dimitrius took her to the changing table and got out an outfit for her. After dressing her, he put Ariala's locket upon her and picked her up. In moments, he was out of the house with an apple for Dimeria to snack on on their way to the meadow.
- Emelaide smiled as she as she slipped from the bed and slipped on a nightgown as she called out to Marreck teasingly, "Am I allowed to come out or should I stay in bed?" |
Ariala smiled as she carried Liah to the meadow with Erreminette who had her hands full with the basket of sandwiches they'd made. Upon seeing Dimitrius and Dimeria, Liah clutched the small brown bear to her chest and ducked closer to Ariala, nervous about meeting others.
"Hello." Ariala said as they approached the two Winter Elves and set Liah on the ground who looked warily at Dimitrius and clutched at Ariala's legs. "Its alright, Liah." She encouraged the younger elf. Liah stepped forward, her bear clutched to her chest and one hand still on Ariala's leg. "Hi." She said shyly to the younger Winter Elf. ~~~ "Stay in bed." Marreck ordered with a laugh as he finished arranging the fruit on a plate and brought it in to Emelaide. |
Dimeria curtsied after Dimitrius put her down before she stepped towards Liah, "Good morning. Pleasure to meet you, my name is Dimeria. You can call me Ria though! I like your bear. I have a teddy too! What's your bear's name?" Dimeria asked as she clasped her hands behind her back once she was in front of Liah.
Dimitrius chuckled as he chided Ria lightly, "Ria, one question at a time. Don't scare the poor girl." - Emelaide grinned as she hopped back into bed and smoothed her blankets down. "It smells great! I can't wait to try it all," Emelaide said happily as as she patted the bed beside her and waited for Marreck to climb into bed with the fruit. |
Liah smiled at the other girl and let go of Ariala's leg as she stepped forward towards Dimeria. "I'm Liah." She said happily, both of her arms around the small bear. "This is Liam. He's my best friend." Liah laughed quietly as she held out the bear to Dimeria.
"I think they like each other." Ariala said quietly as she stood beside Dimitrius and took his hand in her's. ~~~ Marreck grinned as he sat beside Emelaide and set the plate on both of their laps. "Bon Apetite, love." He laughed softly before giving her cheek a kiss and popping a strawberry in his mouth. |
"I think so too," answered Dimitrius as he gave her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Do you think he would be friends with me too?" asked Ria as she took the bear's hand in hers and smiled at Liah. - Placing a tender kiss upon Marreck's lips, Emelaide smiled, "Thank you." Looking at the array of fruits before her, Emelaide had trouble deciding which to choose first. "Which is the best?" asked Emelaide as she looked at Marreck, "I'll try your favorite first." |
"Yeah. He's friends with everybody." Liah laughed as a few strands of her hair fell in her face. "Do you think we could be friends?" Liah asked as she held out her hand to Dimeria.
~~~ "I like the watermelon." Marreck said as he picked up a piece of the pink fruit and held it for Emelaide to eat. |
Nodding, Dimeria took Liah's hand and grinned, "Yes! We can have tea parties with Teddy at Trius and Ari's house, right Trius?" Dimeria asked happily as she looked up at him.
Dimitrius laughed, "If it's alright with Liah's mother, and with Ari, then I give my consent." - Wrapping her lips around the piece of watermelon, Emelaide smiled as the fruit seemed to melt in her mouth. Swallowing it, Emelaide smiled, "Yes! This is what I was craving!" Searching the plate for another piece, Emelaide smiled happily when she found one and popped it in her mouth, "It's so delicious! And it has a sweet tang to it from being around the other fruit!" |
"I'm sure Hally wouldn't mind." Erreminette smiled as she laid out the blanket they'd brought and sat down. Ariala moved to the blanket and tugged on Dimitrius's hand, wanting him to sit beside her.
"I love tea parties." Liah laughed happily, her full set of teeth showing as she smiled, continuing to keep some distance between herself and Dimitrius. "Errey makes little cakes for our tea parties. There's chocolate and vanilla and I get to decorate them." Liah said proudly. ~~~ Marreck chuckled as he took a piece of honeydew from the pile of fruit and popped it in his mouth. "I'm more in the mood for honeydew. Though of course my body isn't craving it." Marreck smiled as he caressed Emelaide's stomach and placed a kiss against the side of her neck. |
"Mmm! I've never decorated cake before! Will you teach me? And then I'll teach you how to make cookies like Auntie Lina!" Dimeria said happily.
Sitting by Ariala, Dimitrius wrapped his warm around her waist and placed a tender kiss just below her ear as he whispered, "You were right. They're perfect for each other. It's a good thing Ria's bedroom doubles as a playroom for her or our house would be overrun with bears and tea sets," he teased as he left a trail of kisses down her neck before resting his chin lightly upon her shoulder. - Emelaide laughed as she rolled her eyes playfully and leaned into Marreck's side, resting her head back against his shoulder as she popped a dark berry into her mouth, "At least you don't have two little ones inside you fighting for cravings. One is always craving Elimlee food, the other is always craving Winterglade food. And they're complete opposites of the spectrum! One wants fruits and veggies, anything organic really, and the other wants nothing but sweets, syrup, and buttery foods!" Emelaide added with a laugh as she popped another dark berry into her mouth. Finding another, Emelaide held it up for Marreck to see as she asked, "What are these? They're tangy, yet sweet. They look so black... but they make my fingers purple. Are they really black in color? Or just a really dark indigo? Whatever they are, the one who's usually craving Winterglade food is loving it," Emelaide added with a laugh as she popped the berry into her mouth. |
"Do you know how to swim?" Liah asked curiously, swimming being one of her many hobbies seeing as she'd been doing it since she could walk.
"Hopefully the nightmares will end." Ariala murmured to Dimitrius as she took a peanut butter sandwich and bit into it, her baby craving it badly. ~~~ "They're blackberries." Marreck explained, smiling proudly as Emelaide mentioned their twins and caressing her stomach gently. "They're black but they're juice is a dark purple." He said happily as he rested his chin on her shoulder. |
Dimeria blushed as she shook her head, "Not very well.. Erre was teaching me though," she added with a smile at Erreminette.
Dimitrius nodded as he took a small bite of Ari's sandwich. "We can only hope," Dimitrius murmured softly before licking the jelly from the corner of his lips, "If not, we'll have to find out what's causing them.." - Emelaide laughed as she popped a piece of honeydew melon into her mouth, "What strange fruits you have. How can the berry be black if the juice is a dark purple? Logically, if the juice is purple, the berry should be purple as well." |
"Errey taught me too." Liah said happily. "And she's going to teach La's baby too, right. So we can all play together?" She asked with a small pout as she looked over at Erreminette.
"Of course. When the baby's ready of course." Erreminette laughed as she too took a sandwich. "Don't steal the baby's sandwiches." Ariala teased playfully as she took a larger bite of her sandwich. ~~~ "The juice is a dark purple, Em. It just looks black because the purple is so dark." Marreck explained as he picked up another berry and held it out for Emelaide. "And if you eat enough then your mouth will turn purple." He laughed. |
Dimeria laughed as Dimitrius winked at Ria before giving Ariala a kiss upon her cheek, the smidgen of jelly upon his lips making it a sticky one. "But Ari, love, I technically wasn't stealing it from the baby, I was simply taking a bite of a sandwich that happened to be before me," he teased as he placed another kiss upon Ariala's cheek with a laugh. "Are you angry with me for taking a bite?" he asked with a teasing grin as he rested his chin lightly upon her shoulder and lightly began tickling her sides.
- "A purple mouth. Well wouldn't that be a sight to see against my silver skin!" Emelaide laughed as she ate the berry from Marreck's fingers before placing a tender kiss upon his lips. "Will you still love me if I have dyed fingertips and a stained mouth due to your fruits? Even if I look absolutely wretched?" |
"Dimitrius!" Ariala squealed as she curled out of his embrace and moved beside Erreminette. "That's not fair." Ariala teased as she stuck her tongue out at Dimitrius and wiped her cheek with one hand. "Liah will protect me, right?" Ariala smiled warmly at Liah who nodded her head eagerly and sat Ariala's lap protectively, sucking her thumb nervously at Dimitrius.
~~~ "You could never look wretched, Em." Marreck laughed as he popped a strawberry in his mouth. "But I think I'd love you no matter what color your mouth anf fingertips were." He laughed. |
"Well then I'll just have to keep Ria all to myself, no won't I. You'll always be on my side, right love?"
Ria laughed as she ran to Dimitrius and climbed into his lap; standing by this thigh between his legs as she leaned against his torso and wrapped her arms around his neck, nodding happily, "Trius gave Ari a gooey kiss! It was funny." - Emelaide laughed as she popped a grape into her mouth, one of the few fruits she knew from Elimlee, "What about when my stomach is too big to fit through the door? Will you still love me then and think I don't look absolutely dreadful?" |
"Thank you for the support." Ariala teased as she took jelly into her hand and leaned forward to wipe jelly across Dimitrius's cheek, careful not to get any on Dimeria. "How about that." Ariala grinned satisfied as Liah and Erreminette broke out into giggles.
~~~ "I think you're gorgeous when you're largely pregnant." Marreck assured her. "Just as gorgeous as you are now." He smiled as he pressed a kiss against the skin under Emelaide's ear. |
Wiping most of it off and onto his finger, Dimitrius grinned as he leaned over and smooshed it from Ariala's forehead down to her chin. "I think it looks better on you, love," Dimitrius teased as he gently kissed where he left the jelly, his tongue brushing against her skin lightly with each kiss. When he reached her lips, he paused and placed a long, deep kiss upon her lips, "Don't you agree?"
- Leaning into his kisses, Emelaide popped a red berry she had seen Marreck eating into her mouth. "You really are full of it Marreck, my love. But I adore you for saying such things." |
Ariala murmured something of an agreement as she returned Dimitrius's kiss, her cheeks flushed.
"Ari." Erreminette chided with a laugh. "You give in to easily." She teased as Liah broke out into giggles. Ariala stuck her tongue out playfully at Erreminette as she shifted to back beside Dimitrius, leaning back against his frame and used a napkin to wipe away any remaining jelly as well as the jelly on Dimitrius's face. ~~~ Marreck laughed as he placed another kiss along the side of her neck. "I promise. I'm going to love you possibly more when you're stomach gets large from being pregnant." He smiled before giving her another kiss. "Because I think its beautiful that you're going to have our babies." He murmured between kisses. |
Dimitrius grinned as he winked at Erre, "I'm just that convincing, love." Wrapping his arms around Ariala, Dimitrius placed a tender kiss upon Ariala's neck, "Forgive me?"
- Emelaide smiled as she brought Marreck's lips back to hers and placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips. "Maybe I should be pregnant more often," Emelaide teased with a laugh between kisses, "I love you, and I love our children. These eleven months need to fly by, I want to see them. I want to be able to hold them. I hate not being able to now that I know I can have them," Emelaide admitted with a blush as she popped another grape into her mouth. |
Ariala grinned sheepishly as she leaned into Dimitrius, her hands laying over his. "Yes." She laughed. "But its only because I'd miss Dimeria too much." She teased, reaching over to lighly tickle the younger elf's side.
~~~ "At least your able to feel them and tell the difference in them." Marreck murmured into Emelaide's ear. "I'm green with envy that you can get to know them so well when I can't." He smiled before giving her a soft kiss. |
Laughing, Dimeria leaned into Ariala and wrapped her arms around her neck. "No tickle!" Dimeria giggled as she squirmed from Ariala's tickling fingers.
Dimitrius laughed as he joined in and tickled Dimeria's legs and feet before turning his attentions to Ariala and tickling her sides, "Dearest, I'm afraid I don't think I heard you correctly. Did a toddler just get placed above me in importance? Your own husband?" - Emelaide blushed as she leaned into Marreck and looked up at him, "Mar, you're getting to know them too! Soon they'll be able to hear you and you'll be able to feel them. In time, my love, you will know them just as well as I do. And until you can feel them for yourself, I will tell you everything I discover, if that is what you wish," she added as she placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips. "I love you Marreck, and I want you to be happy. I don't want to take your happiness away by neglecting to tell you about our children as I learn more about them," she murmured softly against his lips between kisses. |
Ariala squirmed, laughing as she tried to get out of reach of Dimitrius's fingers. "Oh." She said innocently, taking his hands in her's as she looked up at him. "Did I forget to say I'd miss you too?" She asked, reaching up to give his lips a soft kiss. "I love you too, Dimitrius." She smiled coyly against his lips.
~~~ "I'm not blaming you for anything, love." Marreck assured Emelaide as he returned her kisses, pulling her closer against him. "I'm glad that you can learn things about them." He smiled. "I only wish I could experience with you. I feel so...out of the loop." He laughed softly against her lips. |
Dimitrius grinned as he pulled Ariala onto his lap and held on tight, "Do you now. Now how could you forget a handsome fellow like me? I'm not so sure I can forgive my wife after she forgot me when I'm sitting right next to her unless she did some heavy making up," he teased as he lightly brushed his lips against hers.
Dimeria laugh as she ran over to sit on Erre's lap, "Trius mean to Ari." - Sighing, Emelaide lightly caressed his cheek with her fingertips, "I'm sorry.. In a week or so you'll be able to feel them, if that's any consolation.. Perhaps you'll be able to know more one day soon during the pregnancy, I just don't know.. I only know that a Winter Elf can.. If you can't, I'll tell you everything, I promise," said Emelaide with a smile as she placed gentle kisses upon his lips. |
"That's right." Ariala smiled as she leaned against Dimitrius and gave him a soft kiss. "But he's so cute, I might just let him get away with it." Ariala grinned as she rested her head against Dimitrius's neck. "What do you think Dimeria? Would you forgive him?" She laughed.
~~~ "I'll hold you to that, Em." Marreck smiled as he picked up the nearly empty plate of fruit and set it on the end table before pressing Emelaide back against the pillows to give her tender kisses. "I love you." He whispered softly between his tende rkisses, cradling her close to his chest. |
Dimeria laughed as she spread her arms out as wide as she could, "Only if he gave me this many cookies!"
"Hmm, that might be doable. But who said I should be the one forgiven? I think it's you, my dear, who needs to be forgiven, am I right Erre?" teased Dimitrius as he lightly tickled Ariala for a few moments before placing a light kiss upon her cheek. - Eagerly returning his kisses, Emelaide smiled as she leaned into him. "I love you too Marreck. And I promise, I'll tell you everything, no matter how unimportant or minute it may be," she added softly against his lips with a smile before resuming kissing him. |
