"Marreck.. It's already going to be hard enough going between houses once the twins are born.. They're going to be a lot of work taking care of them... Besides.. I hate forcing you to get a job on my account... You'll be busy enough with trying to get sleep after the children are born and trying to keep your strength up after your work with the Kingdom.." Emelaide said softly. In truth, she was more worried about Marreck's health than her own, and the thought of him having to work on top of everything didn't sit well with Emelaide.

"Em. I'm going to need a job anyways to support us." Marreck assured his fiancee. "I love you and I'm going to make this work." He promised before giving her forehead a kiss. "Now stop worrying so much." He said as he slipped into a coat and eyed his fiancee still lying on the bed. "Now should I carry you?" He pondered out loud.

"Alright," Emelaide said with a sigh, "If you insist on working, then I cannot stop you, but I won't like it." Finishing her juice, Emelaide shook her head lightly, "No, the doctor said to wait until the wheelchair gets here. It should be here soon. But, I could use some more juice," Emelaide said with a wink, a warm smile smile gracing her lips.

"As you wish." Marreck grinned as he winked and brought her glass to the kitchen to fill it up again. "How was breakfast, Cindalina?" He asked warmly, hoping she had enjoyed the meal he made her.

"It was delicious, thank you again Marreck," Cindalina said with a warm smile, "Now, don't forget your set of Winterglade clothes in the back room when you move things out of here and into the new house, alright?"

After a little while, a nurse knocked on the door, a wheelchair in hand.

"Come on in, the door's open," called Cindalina as she sipped her tea.

"Thank you, I have Emelaide's wheelchair," the nurse explained with a small smile.

"She's in the bedroom just over there," Cindalina said with a warm smile as she pointed her in the right direction.

"In here." Marreck smiled as he picked up the glass and walked into the bedroom to hand it to Emelaide. "The nurse is here, love." He told her before moving to the dresser and pulling on a coat and gloves for their trip over to the new home.

Emelaide grinned as she looked at the wheelchair. "Finally, mobility," Emelaide laughed as she looked at Marreck.

"Can you slide into the wheelchair?" the nurse asked as she wheeled it to the side closest to Emelaide.

"I think I can manage," Emelaide said confidently as she slid to the edge, much to the twins' protest, and slowly lowered herself into the chair. Holding her sides once she was in the chair, Emelaide took deep breaths between whispers, "It's alright darlings, Mummy was just moving a little bit. Shh now, loves, Mummy won't move again for awhile, she promises."

"Would you like me to wheel you to the new house?" the nurse asked softly as she looked at Emelaide, wishing she could give her something for the pain.

"Do you think you could?" Marreck asked with a frown as he duck down to Emelaide's side and gently rubbed her stomach. "I'm afraid of jostling her too much." He explained before hooking one of their bags over his shoulder and looking back up to the nurse.

Taking his hand in hers, Emelaide smiled as she rested her forehead against his, "Don't worry so much about me.. They're just angry because I'm moving around and it's uncomfortable for them. Who knew only a few months into the pregnancy could be so trying on all of us."

"Well, if she's in that much pain over a simple slide, then I don't think it best for me to take her, just to be on the safe side. However, I will go to the doctor and see about getting something for that pain, if he hasn't suggested anything yet?" the nurse asked as she looked at Marreck with a blush.

"I can take her then." Marreck nodded as he slipped off one of the bags and set it on the wooden floor and stepped behind the handles of Emelaide's wheelchair. "I'll be gentle, loves. No giving you mother trouble." He soothed as he leaned over and ran a soft hand over Emelaide's stomach.

Picking up the bags, the nurse nodded as she headed for the door, waiting outside in the snow for the couple.

Emelaide smiled as she took his hand in hers, linking them upon her abdomen. "I think they'll be alright. The snow should be soft, not bumpy. Besides, they have their father looking after them," Emelaide murmured softly before bringing his hand to her lips with a warm smile. "I love you, Marreck."

"I love you too, darling." Marreck said as he tilted his head to give Emelaide's cheek a quick kiss before standing straight again to wheel her out of the house and into the snow covered ground, going as softly as possible to keep the twins from harming Emelaide anymore.

The twins were quite cooperative during the journey, their father's soothing before hand and their mother's soothing during the trip causing them peace and to "sleep". Emelaide smiled as she caressed her abdomen, murmuring softly as she looked up at her fiancee, "Oh Marreck.. I cannot wait to decorate the house for our twins."

"Me neither, love." Marreck said as they approached the couple's new home and Marreck wheeled Emelaide inside to the living area and kitchen. "Here it is, the bathrooms right there." Marreck said as he pointed at a door off to the side and kneeled down beside Emelaide. "I know its similar to your home. I hope that's okay." He said with a shy smile.

"I love it," Emelaide assured him as she caressed his cheek, leaning in to place long, tender kisses upon his lips. "Thank you," Emelaide whispered softly between kisses.

"Where shall I place the luggage?" the nurse asked with a slight cough.

"There is fine, we'll put everything away as we move," Emelaide said with a small blush as the nurse nodded and excused herself, adding that the doctor requested that Emelaide use the wheelchair any time she wished to leave the bed.

"Thank you, I will," Emelaide called before turning back to Marreck. "We have our own house in Winterglade," Emelaide whispered happily, bursting into a fit of excited giggled as she placed long, sweet kisses upon Marreck's lips, "I am so happy!"

"Me too, darling." Marreck said with a grin as he eagerly returned Emelaide's kisses. "Now we just have to decorate." He sighed as he looked around at the barren rooms. "Do you want to start now? I can move in the sofa so you'll be more comfortable." Marreck offered as he linked their fingers together.

Emelaide nodded as she gave his hand a tender squeeze. "Yes, I wish to decorate completely! Might as well do it now before the children come. Can you imagine trying to take care of baby newborns while decorating a house?" Emelaide teased with a wink, "I shudder at the thought. Will you stop by the shops on your way out to get catalogs? I doubt the doctor will allow me visits to choose what I wish to furnish the house with, so I will need to do everything from pictures and have you be the judge in the shop."

Placing a long, tender kiss upon Marreck's lips, Emelaide murmured softly against his lips between kisses, "Promise me something? We'll be sparing in our purchases for both houses? I don't want to be cheap, but I don't want to over spend either," Emelaide added with a small frown, "I want you to work as little as possible, so if that means saving on house expenses, then I'm willing to do so."

"I promise, Em. Though you really shouldn't worry or you'll get lots of wrinkles." Marreck teased as he ran a finger over the smooth skin of her forehead. "But I'd probably love you just the same." He winked before giving her cheek soft kiss.

Emelaide laughed as she ran her fingers through Marreck's hair, "Well, I should hope you will love me just the same with wrinkles! I fear these twins of ours are going to give me wrinkles far before they are even in this world!"

As if on cue, the twins stirred a bit in their mother's stomach. Caressing her abdomen, Emelaide laughed as she whispered softly, "See? What did I tell you? I fear they'll give you wrinkles as well, my love," Emelaide added as she looked up at her fiancee.

"You had best get a move on, my love, if you want our couch from home in this house. We have a lot of work to do, and I refuse to sleep in this chair or on that couch this evening. Therefore, we had best get started on looking for a bed, hm?" Emelaide said with a warm grin before placing a long, tender kiss upon Marreck's lips.

"Hm, yes. A bed would be essential." Marreck laughed as he placed a kiss on Emelaide's forehead. "I'll be right back, love." He said before straightening up nd heading out the door to the shops.

Marreck picked up a few catalogs as Emelaide had requested before going to the shop he'd visited before to talk to the owner about moving in their sofa that day. "Of course, of course. Emelaide's always such a treat we'll get it sent it over as soon as my boy get back from the last delivery." The elder elf smiled at Marreck before giving him a catalog as well.

"Thank you." Marreck smiled happily before returning back to his home with Emelaide and kneeling beside her again. "The sofa will be here soon but I have some catalogs for you to browse through." He offered, holding up the stack of 4 catalogs for her.

"Perfect!" Emelaide grinned happily as she took the top magazine. Looking through her bag, Emelaide found something to write with and opened the catalog. Placing a warm kiss on Marreck's lips, Emelaide murmured softly between kisses, "Now to design another house, before even finishing the first one! Shall we start with our bedroom and the nursery?"

"The nursery." Marreck grinned as he sat on the floor beside Emelaide, resting his chin on her knee. "I like the sound of us having a nursery." He grinned happily, thrilled with the idea of being a father.

"Me too," Emelaide said with a happy grin, her hand caressing his cheek affectionately before turning the catalog so that they both could see it. Flipping through the pages, Emelaide searched for anything that started to look like Nursery furnishings. Finding cradles, Emelaide smiled as she lingered on the pages.

"I want something wooden.. something that can be appropriate for either Kingdom," Emelaide said with a smile as she passed over the iced cradles, despite seeing one that she fell in love with.

Marreck looked up to see a change in Emelaide's face. "Did you find one you like, love?" He asked curiously as his thumb caressed the side of her knee, his head tilted to the side.

"Mm, but not one that will work, however," Emelaide explained with a warm smile as she placed a tender kiss upon his forehead, "It won't do to have an ice cradle, when we are unsure of which climate our children will be suited best for."
