Erreminette gave Cindalina a quizzical glance in response to her wink but moved to the window anyways. She opened the window to see the small chip munk with a glistening ring in its paw. "Oh." She gasped in surprise. Holding out her hand for the chipmnk to sit in, Erreminette turned to Ariala. "Hey, Ariala. I think you got a gift." She said, holding out the chipmunk with the ring.
"Oh!" Ariala said happily upon seeing the small ring. "Oh, its beautiful." She raved, taking the ring from the chipmunk. After reading the note, Ariala turned to Cindalina. "Its gorgeous!" She squealed, taking off the note and putting the ring on her finger. ~-~-~ "You should never say never." Marreck warned with a smile, placing another kiss on her cheek before turning towards the door. "Yes, we're here." Marreck said, opening the door to see Dimitrius. "Where are we going?" |
Moe grinned as he jumped from Errimentte's palm onto Cindalina's shoulder, "Yes, you did well dear." Looking up at Ariala, Cindalina couldn't help but chuckle as she smiled, "That sapphire ring is a family heirloom from our side of the family. When your future son marries, pass the ring on to keep the tradition alive."

"I'm so excited." Ariala admitted happily, moving her hand to look at the ring in the sunlight fromthe window.
"And you look beautiful." Erreminette added, looking over Ariala's shoulder at the ring. "But every bride needs a bouqet." She said, using her magic to create a small white rose bush outside the window. Picking a few of the roses, Erreminette handed them to Ariala. "White roses." Ariala laughed, throwing her arms around Erreminette. "Do you know which church to go to?" She asked, turning to Cindalina with an excited smile. ~-~-~ "Me?" Marreck asked, his voice raised in surprise. "I mean, of course. I'm just surprised." He laughed. |
Cindalina laughed as she finished the dress alterations, "Ariala, if you don't calm down you'll burst! For the hundredth time, I know precisely where we're going. Moe's just informed me that in twenty minutes we are to arrive at the church and Dimeria will bring you the rings. Do you have a wedding band for Dimitrius yet?"
-- Dimitrius grinned, "Good. I've been wanting to ask you for days as a way to show you I wish to be friends, but now that we are friends it seemed only natural I ask. Thank you, Marreck, it means a lot to me." Emelaide half-smiled, the only smile she had enough energy to muster, as she spoke softly, "Congratulations, Dimitrius. And I'm glad you two have finally reconciled and become friends. Promise me, no more fighting okay?" Dimitrius nodded as he gently caressed Emelaide's cheek, "I promise. Now, you need to get some of Auntie's soup into you so you can start getting better and be alright enough to attend the wedding." "Marreck, can you take her to Auntie's and then meet me at the church? Auntie will have your outfit for you as well, feel free to change there or at the church." |
"Oh, its in my drawer." Ariala sighed, feeling deflated at the realization.
"Its a good thing I'm the fastest runner in Elimlee then." Erreminette smiled. "Which drawer?" "Oh, Erre. Thank you. The drawer of my night stand. I just picked it up a few days ago. Good thing." Ariala said as Erreminette ran out the door and flew across the snowy ground. ~-~-~ "Sounds like a plan." Marreck said, sweeping Emelaide into his arms. "You're not going to be fast enough on your feet." He apologized as he walked out the door with her. |
Cindalina smiled, "Ariala, would you like to wear the veil that goes with this gown? Or do you already have your own?"
-- Dimitrius smiled at the couple as he darted past them and ran towards the church, unable to keep a grin off his face. -- Emelaide snuggled into Marreck's arms as she mumbled sleepily, "I don't mind.." |
Ariala smiled at Cindalina before fousing her magic outside the window near Erreminette's rosebush. "I can make one." She said, weaving the flowers she'd grown into her hair into a crown of sorts.
"Cindalina?" Marreck called, entering the house with Emeladie still in his arms. "Is the soup finished? She's starting to fall asleep." He said as he entered the living room to see Ariala in her wedding gown. "Ariala you look beautiful." He said, his eyes wide. ~-~-~ Erreminette flew across the fields of Elimlee and crawled up the rope ladder gracefully despite her inhuman speed. "Where's the fire?" Adan asked as he saw Erreminette climbing the ladder and going into Ariala's house. Grabbing the ring from the nightstand drawer, Erreminette returned back outside in a matter of seconds. "Stay out of it, Adan." She said, fighting back a laugh at how sickly he looked. "You should rest." She said, biting her lip to supress a giggle. Not waiting for a response, Erreminette rushed back down the ladder and ran back to Winterglade at the fastest pace she could muster. |
Cindalina nodded, "Yes, I'll fetch some. Come over here by the fire, she needs to stay warm. I swear to the God high in Heaven, that girl will be the death of me.. making me worry like this," she muttered as she quickly made her way to the kitchen to fetch a bowl of the soup.
Dimeria's eyes teared up as she saw her beloved Emelaide in Marreck's arms. Running over to Marreck, Dimeria clutched the hem of his shirt as she looked up at him, "What's wrong with Emmie? Why can't she walk?" |
"Em was being irresponsible with her magic." Marreck said, giving Dimeria a smile. "She'll be fine once she gets some soup into her." He assured the small elf. Making his way to the fire, Marreck sat down, cradling Emelaide to his chest.
"I'm back." Erreminette announced, stepping into the small house. Making her way to the living room, she handed the ring to Ariala. "What happened?" She asked Marreck upon seeing Emelaide. "Just a cold." Ariala explained, moving over to put an arm around Dimeria. "She'll be alright." She assured her before turning back to Erreminette. "Thank you." She said gratefully, her fear being overcome by excitement once more. |
Dimeria knelt in front of Marreck and clung to Emelaide's dress, "Emmie.. can't you talk?"
Emelaide smiled as she gently caressed Dimeria's cheek, "Don't worry Ria, I'm fine.. I'm just tired.." Looking over at Ariala, Emelaide sighed, "I'm sorry if I'm ruining your day.. Dimitrius insisted I attend despite my being sick.. |
"You're not ruining anything." Ariala smiled at Emelaide. "I want you healthy so you can be at our wedding as well." She assured Emelaide as the group huddled in front of the fire.

Cindalina appeared then with a large bowl of soup and set it on the coffee table in front of Emelaide and Marreck, "Be careful, it just came off the stove."
Emelaide groaned, "Auntie, really.. there's so much! I can't possibly stomach all of that!" "You can, and you will. Now eat up, we can't have your magic going haywire during the wedding and turning the place from a sauna into an ice-land." "The very reason why I shouldn't be here.. it'll ruin everything and they'll never forgive me," she muttered softly. |
"Don't be silly." Ariala said with a smile. "Dimitrius and I both want you there. But I woldn't mind getting married in an ice-land as long as I get to marry Dimitrius." She laughed. "Don't worry so much, just focus on the soup."
"She's right, love." Marreck said, stroking Emeladie's cheek. "You need to get better." |
Sighing, Emelaide slipped out of Marrecks hold, slipping down to sit on the floor as she began eating the soup, "If you say so.."

"That's better." Marreck said with a smile before turning back to Ariala. "You look beautiful in that dress." He said with a smile. "Dimitrius isn't going to be able to keep his eyes off of you."
"Thank you." Ariala said, her face a brilliant red. "He's right." Erreminette said. "I don't think Dimitrius will be able to focus on anything but you today." She said, making Ariala's cheeks blush an even brighter shade of red. |
Cindalina chuckled, "Ariala, my dear, they're right. You needn't be so shy about the compliments, that dress suits you perfectly, as do the flowers. Now, we have just enough time to get to the church, has Dimitrius found a best man yet?"
Emelaide nodded as she ate her soup, "Dimitrius asked Marreck. He said you had the outfit already ready for him?" Cindalina smiled, "Yes, I do. Come with me. After I get you settled with your outfit, I'll take Ariala, Erreminette, and Dimeria to the church. Emelaide, you stay and finish your soup. Once you both are ready, come down to the church, alright?" Emelaide nodded, "Of course." |
Marreck nodded, following Cindalina. Ariala stood in front of a mirror, smoothing out her dress nervously. Erreminette moved behind Ariala, helping to smooth the dress. "Don't be so nervous, Ariala." Erreminette said softly, resting her head on Ariala's shoulder. "You look fantastic."
"I wish everyone would stop saying that." Ariala laughed, her cheeks red again. "I just wish I could see him now." She admitted. |
Emelaide smiled at Ariala, "Ariala, stop fidgeting. You looks breathtaking and Dimitrius is going to die at the sight of you."
Cindalina arrived moments later after showing Marreck his Winterglade attire, "Alright girls, Marreck's in the back getting changed. The Priest is surely ready for the wedding, so let's get you guys settled shall we?" |
"Yes, let's go." Ariala said excitedly, working to keep the smile off of her face. "Are you ready, Dimeria?" She asked, holding out her arms to the small elf.

Dimeria ran to Ariala and jumped into her arms.
Cindalina simply shook her head with a chuckle as she led the group out of the house, "Ria, be sure not to ruin Ariala's dress and hair, alright?" -- Dimitrius was already at the church finalizing everything with Priest Mulckahie and dressed for the wedding. He soon grew fidgety as he waited by the altar, his excitement too much to contain while the minutes slowly ticked by. |
Ariala smiled, cuddling Dimeria in her arms. She followed Cindalina to the church obiedently with Erreminette behind her.
"Will you tell Dimitrius that we're waiting for Marreck and Emelaide?" She asked Cindalina. "I don't want him to be in agony up there waiting." Ariala laughed. "He'll jump to conclusions if I don't come out immediately and they're always the worst conclusions." |
Cindalina smiled, "Of course my dear, I need to get his wedding band from him anyway for Dimeria."
In moments, Cindalina was gone. After having explained the situation and getting the ring, she returned and placed the ring beside Ariala's on the cushion Dimeria was now holding. -- Finishing her soup, Emelaide brought the bowl to the sink and rinsed it out. Noticing Marreck had yet to return, she stumbled to the back room as she called out, "Marreck, love, we're going to be late!" |
Ariala felt butterflies as she anxiously waited for Marreck and Emelaide to arrive.
~-~-~ "I'm ready." Marreck smiled as he walked out in his suit, adjusting the bowtie. "Let's go." He said. "Do you need to be carried or are you okay to walk?" Marreck asked. |
Emelaide frowned at him as she stumbled away from him towards the living room, "I'm perfectly fine to walk. Have a little faith."

"Yes, perfectly fine." Marreck said, convinced. "You're stumbling." He said, swooping her into his arms and running out the door. "We don't want to be late." He reminded her as he cradled her to his chest.
