"I figured as much but I think I'll marry you anyways." Marreck laughed. "And I kind of like how we met. It was so...us somehow. You with your outrageous temper and me being, well perfect I guess." Marreck teased.

Emelaide rolled her eyes playfully as she gently slapped his chest, "You're absolutely terrible. You were far from perfect, dearest. A bit less rash and drastic, I'll admit, but you had some wicked plot ideas yourself. But I'm still embarrassed that you saw me like that... I've never been that angry in my entire life.. I.. sort of snapped, I guess.."

"In my defense, I didn't offer to try and kill Ariala." Marreck laughed. "But we've all snapped at some point. I think I'll forgive you though." Marreck smiled. "Considering I plan on keeping you forever, I don't want to spend forever holding a grudge." Marreck teased before giving her a small kiss.

Emelaide laughed, "And in my defense, it wasn't my intention to kill her! Simply rough her up a bit and see what happened. It was her own fault she got pushed so far. I warned her not to anger me, but she insisted on doing so. But, we both promised to play nice, so that's what we're going to do. So I give you my word, I won't try and kill her, as you so drastically put it, anymore. Especially not when I have an amazing fiancee such as yourself," she added before placed a tender kiss upon his lips, "I love you."

"I love you to, Em." Marreck smiled as he lifted Emelaide's hand to see the blue diamond sparkling off the fire. "Even if you are insane for wanting to marry me." Marreck joked.

Emelaide laughed as she teased, "Well, moments of insanity do run in my history. I'm kind of glad I never came out of this one, if that's what it is, though," she added with a grin as she leaned into Marreck and placed a long, deep, tender kiss upon his lips, her tongue slipping between his lips as the kisses deepened.

Marreck tightened his arms around Emelaide as they kissed, returning her kisses eagerly as he shifted Emelaide so that she sat on his lap. His hands cradled her, one under her thigh while the other wrapped around her back and pressed her tightly to him. "I love you, Em." He said quietly between kisses. "Very much." He smiled.

Emelaide smiled as she whispered against his lips, "I love you too Marreck." Returning his kisses as she leaned against him, Emelaide slid her hand through his hair as she caressed his skin. Blushing at how close they were getting, Emelaide broke the kiss and rested her forehead against his as she whispered, "Marreck.. Your mother's somewhere in the house.. She's not going to be too happy if she finds us like this.."

"Probably not." Marreck laughed as he set Emelaide back beside him and leaned against the couch. "I guess it looks bad that I still live with my parents, huh?" Marreck laughed as he put an arm around Emelaide's shoulders.

Snuggling close to him, Emelaide shook her head, "Not at all. I'm older, and I still live with my parents. Besides, there's no point in moving out now. We're engaged, after all. We'll have to find a house of our own soon enough. The question is, where? If you wish it, and if you find a house here that you think we'll like and will be able to raise a family in, I'm not against moving here to Elimlee."

"I'd be happy wherever you are." Marreck smiled. "I wouldn't mind Winterglade." He said as he entwined his fingers with Emelaide's.

Emelaide smiled as she brought his fingers to her lips for a gentle kiss. "I guess we're both pretty flexible on our living arrangements. How ever shall we decide? I'm afraid I don't know of any houses being sold in town.. are there any here?"

"I haven't looked yet but I'll check things out tomorrow." Marreck smiled as he brought his hand to caress Emelaide's face. "I'm looking very forward to our future together."

Emelaide smiled as she leaned into his palm, "Me too. I look forward to building a, and creating, life with with you. I think.. No, I know everything will be truly wonderful between us. I don't think it'll be as rocky as Dimitrius and Ariala's engagement and wedding. That is, unless you have an old girlfriend your parents are determined to bring out of the wood-works and get you to marry," she teased as she placed a tender kiss upon the inside of his wrist.

"I think we're safe." Marreck smiled. "I'm afraid I didn't hae much of any girlfriends before I met you so I think we're going to be just fine." He laughed quietly, giving Emelaide a quick kiss.

"Marreck, dear." Alena sighed as she walked back into the living room. "Why don't you stop boring this poor girl here and show her around." She joked.

"You're just trying to get me out of the house." Marreck rolled his eyes playfully though he stood and brought Emelaide with him.

"Maybe, but honestly." His mother laughed. "She must be bored to death. Go show her something entertaining rather then our living room." She said before walking back into the kitchen to drink her tea.

Emelaide giggled softly as she linked her fingers through his, "But you just showed me the house, what else is there to see? The only entertaining room I found, was the one that's too tempting," she added in a whisper as she placed a tender kiss upon his cheek.

Marreck grinned as he pulled Emelaide into the kitchen "Bye, mom." He said as he pulled Emelaide out the door and towards the rope ladder.

"There's a small pond near the border I want to show you. It has a small waterfall." Marreck smiled as he gestured for Emelaide to go first down the rope ladder.

Emelaide nodded as she headed down the rope ladder and called up to him, "It sounds beautiful! I didn't know we had waterfalls so close to Winterglade," she added as she hopped down to the ground and waited for Marreck.

"Yeah." Marreck smiled. "Its near where you froze Erre." He said as he climbed down the rope ladder and took Emelaide's hand in his own as he led her towards the forest. "I guess they were swimming there when you overheard them. Or at least that's the story I heard." Marreck shrugged.

Emelaide blushed as she followed Marreck, "Oh.. I guess I didn't n-notice the waterfall that day.."

"Probably not." Marreck laughed as they reached the forest and he led her through trees. "I'm sure you had much different things on your mind then the scenery." He teased as they walked.

Emelaide blushed, "Do you think Erreminette will ever come to stop loathing me for what I did? It really was her own fault though! She did push me over the edge and get into mine and Ariala's fight.."

"Ariala? Fight?" Marreck laughed. "Ariala wouldn't fight you in a million years. She's an awful chicken and backs out. Erre's the one with the quick mouth. Ariala was simply a bystander in the ordeal." He teased as they neared the pond, he could hear the waterfall already.

Emelaide laughed as she placed a kiss on his cheek, "Perhaps, but I was winning our fight. And I did end up winning in the fight with Erreminette as well. Do you forgive me for trying to kill your friends?"

Marreck laughed loudly, his voice echoing off some of the trees. "I think I'll let it go just this once." He teased as he walked Emelaide into the clearing where the waterfall fell over a small pond where small fish played at the very bottom.

"Here it is." He smiled as he spread his arm to gesture to the clearing.
