"Morning," Emelaide whispered sleepily, "Sleep well? My sleep was wonderful with you next to me. I'm thinking I want to stay like this all day," she added with a small laugh, "I'm quite comfy."

"As am I." Marreck agreed as he stroked the length of Emelaide's back. "You've turned me into a person who sleeps in." He grinned as he kissed Emelaide's forehead.
~~~ Ariala smiled sadly as she made her way away from the Palace and back to her home. "I'm back." She called, looking for Dimitrius. "Can we just lay around now?" She teased. |
Emelaide smiled as she placed a tender kiss upon the base of his neck as she teased, her leg laying gently over his as she scooched closer, "Good. I'm quite glad it wasn't reversed to where you turned me into a morning person."
- Dimitrius chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her waist and placed a tender kiss upon her neck, cheek, and lips, "Of course, love. How was your visit with Adan?" |
"Such a lazy finace." Marreck smiled as he rested his head back against the pillow. "What ever will I do with you."
~~~ "It went...fast." Ariala smiled. "He's not one for words but the ones he did say I believed. He said he wasn't coming back." She said as she wrapped her arms around his neck. |
Shifting so she was resting on her elbow, Emelaide leaned over Marreck and placed a tender kiss upon his lips and whispered, "Love me?"
- Dimitrius sighed and offered a small smile, "And you're not upset? You won't miss him?" |
"Forever." Marreck smiled as he arched his neck to kiss Emelaide. "Even if you did make me into a lazy person." He teased.
~~~ "Its better if he's not here." Ariala sighed. "I wish I could say differently but I can't. If he's here there's always going to be some tension and when he's not we can both just move on from what happened." She said. "But its the past now and at least we can both acknowledge it and move forward with our lives." |
Emelaide giggled softly as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips and whispered, "Mm, perhaps. But I do hope we have many more lazy days to come."
- Dimitrius sighed a sigh of relief as he led her to the couch. Sitting down, he gently pulled Ariala down with him and wrapped his arms around her, placing a tender kiss upon her scalp, "I'm glad. You see? I told you it was a good thing to go and see him today." |
"As long as I get to wake up to see you every morning then I'm perfectly happy." Marreck smiled, kissing her neck gently. "You look far better in that shirt then I do." Marreck smiled against the base of her neck before giving her smooth skin another kiss.
~~~ Ariala smiled as she snuggled closer to Dimitrius. "Yes, yes. You were right." Ariala smiled. "What exactly happened last night when I was sleeping." She asked curiously. |
Emelaide laughed as she leaned into his kisses slightly as she whispered, "I look even better without it."
- "We talked and he explained everything. How when he saw you crying over the possibility of being a mother scared him, how he loved you and only wanted what was best for you, how at the time he believed leaving was what was best to save you from a miserable marriage and a miserable life. He truly loves you Ari.. I was afraid he might take you away from me with his words, but I knew you needed to hear the truth if you were to truly move on and forgive him," explained Dimitrius softly. |
"Mm." Marreck said against his lips as he moved his lips against her neck. "Very tempting." He smiled, sucking gently on her skin between kisses.
~~~ Ariala felt her skin prickle at Dimitrius's suggestion. Smacking his arms away, Ariala stood up and faced him, her cheeks hot with anger. "Have him take me away from you?" She questioned angrily. "I'm married to you and I'm having your child." She hissed, her voice eerily even. "Is that enough for you to realize that I love you?" She asked, his voice bordering on hysteria. |
Emelaide laughed softly as she leaned into his kisses, "I like that idea, but what about your parents? Are they even out of the house?"
- Dimitrius sighed as he looked up at her, "Ari, love, I know you love me! It's just.. What Adan said made me wonder that if you knew what stopped him from marrying you, how much he truly adored you.. It made me wonder if you possibly had any feelings for him as well. Ari, if you wanted to be with him and if it was what was best for you, you know very well I'd let you go." Standing up, he caressed her cheek with his palm, "Ari, I love you so much. It nearly killed me telling you to go speak to him, knowing that I might lose you if you loved him and realized it when speaking to him. I'm sorry I upset you, love, it wasn't my intention.. I just want you to be happy! Please understand that.." |
"Em." Marreck warned as he continued to kiss her neck, making his way to her soft lips. Trailing one of his hands up the side of her thigh, Marreck continued to kiss her softly. "Let's just go for second base?" He asked as he continued to kiss her, parting her lips with his tongue.
~~~ "I don't want to be with him!" Ariala said angrily, tears forming in her eyes. "If I wanted to be with him then I wouldn't be here." She said, tears falling down her cheek and against Dimitrius's hand. "No matter what Adan said, it wouldn't have changed anything. I didn't love him even when we were to be married. I've told you that. And now, I'm happy with you but you keep doubting me. How am I suppose to know that you know that I love you when you keeping doing this?" She ranted, clinging to his shirt as she buried her face in his chest. "I have enough stress with my lessons and worrying about being a mother. Please." She sighed, almost begging. "Please don't doubt me." |
Emelaide smiled against his lips, "I was only teasing, dearest. I'm very satisfied with only kissing you."
- "Ariala Siladhiel Cordei, I have never doubted that you love me. I just wanted you to make peace with him and know for sure that in your heart you wanted me. And I know you say you didn't love him, even when you were engaged, but if you knew his true feelings... I thought maybe you might realize you did love him.. I just didn't want you finding out years down the road and realizing you'd made a mistake," admitted Dimitrius softly as he held her to him, softly running his fingers through her hair. |
"Perfect." Marreck smiled as he continued to kiss her, one hand wrapped around her thigh while the other cupped the back of her neck. "I love you, Emelaide." He whispered softly. "So very much." He whispered to her as he shifted so that Emelaide laid under him as he kissed her tenderly.
~~~ "Please." Ariala whispered softly. "Please just tell me that you love me and that you believe that I'll never want anyone else but you. I love you so much." She said as he warpped her arms around Dimitrius's neck. |
Eagerly returning his kisses as her bare leg wrapped around his, her toes brushing softly against his ankles, Emelaide whispered softly against his lips, "I love you too."
- Wrapping his arm tighter around her waist as he held her close, her other hand holding her head against his chest as he placed a tender kiss upon the top of her head, "Ariala, you know I love you. And you being here, while Adan is leaving without you, I know now that I am the only one you love.. I'm sorry I thought you might love Adan more.. I'm truly truly sorry Ariala.. Please forgive me.." |
Marreck smiled as he brought his lips away from Emelaide's to caress her soft skin with his lips. Leaving kisses against her neck, Marreck made his way to the base of her neck and licked softly between his tender kisses.
~~~ "That's all I wanted to hear." Ariala said as she stood on her toes to give Dimitrius a tender kiss. "I love you." Ariala said as she curled one of his hands into Dimitrius's hair. "Only you." She said softly between kisses. |
"Marreck.." Emelaide moaned softly as her fingertips dug into his side and hair, returning his kisses eagerly as she pulled him closer.
- Pulling her tight, Dimitrius returned her kisses eagerly, his fears completely forgotten as he held her close. "I love you Ari, so so much.. I really am sorry for what happened," he whispered against her skin as his lips trailed her jaw and neck. |
Marreck molded Emelaide's body to his own as he continued to kiss her softly. Slipping his tongue into Emelaide's mouth to caress her own as he trailed his fingers against her thigh, wrapping her other leg around his waist.
~~~ Ariala pressed herself tighter to Dimitrius as she arched her neck for Dimitrius's lips. "I love you." She whispered softly before bringing Dimitrius's lips back to her own. |
Pressing against him, Emelaide's fingers traveled to caress his bare back as she eagerly returned his kisses.
- As his hand trailed down her side, Dimitrius returned her kisses tenderly, happy that he had been forgiven, and completely elated that she loved him above Adan, despite hearing what he had to say. |
Marreck smiled against Emelaide's lips, a feeling of pure bliss running through him. "I love you." Marreck said softly, kissing her neck gently. Shifting them so that Emelaide laid beside him, Marreck moved a piece of hair form her face. "And I'm looking very forward to spending every morning exactly like this." He grinned.
~~~ "Do you think we should visit Cindalina today?" Ariala asked as she rested her head at the base of Dimitrius's neck. "She still doesn't know that I'm expecting and I'd like to tell her." She smiled as she traced small designs on the piece of Dimitrius's shirt in front of her. |
"So am I," she whispered as she softly caressed his cheek with her fingertips before placing a tender kiss upon his lips.
- Linking his fingers through her's, Dimitrius nodded, "If you wish, but I thought you wanted to lay about the house and relax today?" |
Marreck smiled as he returned her kiss before placing one on her nose. "Marreck?" He heard his mother ask, walking into the room to see the couple laying in the bed. "Oh, dear. You could've told me that we had company." She said, her cheeks red. "Now I've gone and embarressed myself."
"You were sleeping when we got back." Marreck explained. "Well breakfast is ready either way." Alena said before returning to the kitchen. ~~~ "That was lazy morning talk." Ariala grinned. "I miss Cindalina already." She laughed as she led Dimitrius to the kitchen. "I need to get warmer clothes." She said, giving him a quick kiss before running off to the bedroom. Pulling on her white wool tights and pink flats, Ariala pulled a wool hat over her head and took her coat out of the closet. It would be to hot to wear on the way there but she would put it on at the border. Putting the coat over her arm, Ariala returned to Dimitrius. "Ready." She smiled. |
Emelaide blushed as she whispered, "Your mother will surely think poorly of me now.."
- Dimitrius nodded as he grabbed his jacket and let her to the rope ladders, "I have a feeling we'll be at Cindalina's more often than we will be home. But you do realize we'll have Dimeria back with us now that we're going back," he tease as he climbed down the ladder. |
"Hardly." Marreck assured her. "She's just embaressed that I didn't tell her that we had company. You may not have noticed but my mother is very open-minded." Marreck laughed quietly as he gave Emelaide's nose a kiss.
~~~ "Oh, I've missed her." Ariala said excitedly as she followed Dimitrius down the ladder and took his hand in her's. "I hope that if we have a little girl that she'll look like Dimeria. She's so cute. Though I might spoil her rotten. How could you not with that face?" Ariala laughed as they walked towards the border. |
Emelaide laughed softly, "Aye, but she thinks we've made love with them in the house. I'm more embarrassed than she is!"
- Dimitrius chuckled as he linked their fingers together and placed a tender kiss upon her temple, "I'm afraid if my parents keep leaving her as they do, we'll end up raising Dimeria like one of our own." |
