"I love it." Marreck smiled as he pulled away from Emelaide to kiss her forehead gently. "And I love that I'll get to spend the rest of my life here with you." He laughed quietly.
"Me too," said Emelaide softly with a light kiss on his lips, "But we can only spend the rest of our lives here if we get you moved out of your old house," she teased before placing a tender kiss upon his lips and linking their fingers together. Leading him outside, Emelaide giggled softly, "I can't believe it! We're finally going to get married and live on our own!"
Emelaide couldn't help but twirl outside of their house, not noticing as her magic went a bit haywire from her euphoric mood. |
Marreck smiled at Emelaide's elated mood, not bothering to tell her about the shiver that was sent down his spine as he led her back to his own house.
Quickly ushering her into the bedroom and taking suitcases from his closet to lay on his bed before folding away clothes and random objects around his room. |
Emelaide chuckled as he quickly packed, "Do you need any help dearest?"
"I'm almost done." Marreck smiled. "I don't have many things in need of packing." Marreck said as he continued to stack his clothes into his suitcases until he was sure that everything was packed.
"Done." He smiled as he turned to Emelaide before picking up the shirt that she had worn he night before. Smiling sheepishly, Marreck tucked the shirt into one of his suitcases before closing them. "Now I'm done." He laughed, picking Emelaide up the waist as he kissed her passionately. |
Returing his kisses eagerly, Emelaide wrapped her legs around Marreck's waist and giggled as she spoke softly between kisses, "Now all we need to do is set a date."
"Any date you wish, love." Marreck smiled happily as he tightened his grip on Emelaide as he placed small kisses along her collarbone. "What month would you like to get married in?" He asked as his lips seemed to refuse to leave her creamy skin.
"This month," Emelaide said softly as she leaned into his kisses, "This week perhaps?"
Marreck's arms tightened around Emelaide in excitement. "Really?" He asked excitedly as his lips quickened their pace along her skin. "You truly wish to marry me so soon? You're not just saying it to make me feel better?" Marreck asked as his lips began to inch their way up Emelaide's neck.
Arching her neck towards Marreck's lips, Emelaide laughed softly, "Marreck, if we could, I'd marry you this very minute. It's all I've thought of since you proposed. But seeing as how I have yet to tell Lina and Trius, I don't think they'd be very happy with me. Besides, Lina and I have to finish my dress. Once my dress is complete, we can make an official date. Until then, we can just live together as a couple."
"That sounds perfect." Marreck smiled as he set Emelaide down gently before grabbing his bags. "Ready to go home?" He asked with a large grin.
Emelaide nodded as she took a bag from Marreck to help carry the load. "Ready," she said happily as she headed out of his room.
Marreck smiled as he led Emelaide back to their house and brought his bags into the bedroom. Setting them down, Marreck took the one from Emelaide and placed that in their bedroom as well.
"Do you want to unpack?" Marreck asked her. "Or are you hungry?" He pondered as he looked at the unstocked kitchen. "We'll have to get groceries." He sighed. |
"Let's unpack first, then pay the former owner, and then go get groceries," suggested Emelaide as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips and looked around the room, "Which dresser and closet do you want, dearest?"
"I'll take the smaller closet." Marreck smiled. "Considering how many more things you have then I do." He teased as he took out his few coats and hanging them up in the smaller closet. "But whatever dresser you like, you can have." He offered, his voice muffled from inside the closet.
Emelaide laughed as she walked over to Marreck and slid her arms around his waist. After placing a kiss upon the back of Marreck's neck and shoulder, she stood on her toes to place a tender kiss upon the base of his neck before resting her chin lightly on his shoulder, "I love you. I can't believe we finally have a bedroom of our own that's ours in our house! It's too perfect to be true."
"And soon I'll be able to call you my wife and we'll live happily ever after." Marreck said happily as he turned to face Emelaide. Marreck wrapped his arms around her waist and gave her a small kiss.
"We're already living 'Happily Ever After'. We have been since you found me in the woods with intents on harming Ariala almost beyond repair," she added with a small smile before returning his kisses. Giving him one last long, tender kiss, Emelaide smiled and slipped out of his embrace to finish her unpacking, placing her clothes in the dresser closest to her closet for it had a wider tp and would hold her pictures that were upon her mantel before.
"You're the one who suggested we try and kill her." Marreck teased as he put away his clothes into his own dresser and placed the few things he'd brought from home on top. A few pictures, a small clock, and a small musical instrument made of wooden tubes which he hadn't played in quite awhile.
"Not kill her, just freeze her and see if Dimitrius would save her. Guess we know now that he would have saved her and not me, huh," she teased as she set the frames upon her dresser, the photographs with no frames next to them, along with her small crystal knickknacks that had sapphire gems embedded into them that her mother had gotten. Noticing the instrument upon Marreck's dresser once she had finished unpacking and had moved the bag with things from her bookcase into the living room and set it on the chair, Emelaide inquired as she walked over to it and ran her fingertips across it, "What's this?"
"I would've saved you." Marreck offered. "And its some kind of musical instrument my father gave me when I was younger. I never learned the name of it and I haven't played it in years but I figured I'd keep it anyways." He shrugged before bringing his empty suitcases into the closet.
Emelaide smiled as she put her suitcases in her closet and walked over to Marreck. Wrapping her arms around his neck, Emelaide placed a tender kiss upon his nose and lips, "I'm glad you wouldn't have let me die. It'd be an awkward marriage if you would have," she added with a wink before placing a long, passionate kiss upon his lips, "I love you, Marreck, more than anything in the world." Placing one last kiss upon his lips, Emelaide slid out of the embrace and linked their fingers together as she led him out of the room, "Will you play that instrument for me after dinner? I'm curious what it sounds like. I've never seen one before," she admitted with a blush.
"If you wish." Marreck smiled as he led her away form their home and back to the former owner's home. "Kalian?" He asked just as the elf returned to the door.
"Come to finish paying for the house?" Kalian laughed. "Did you move in already?" |
"Yes, we're all moved in. All that's left is to purchase groceries," Emelaide said happily as she handed him a small sack of money. "I hope Winterglade money is acceptable? I added extra to make up for any difference," she added with a blush.
"Its perfectly acceptable." Kalian smiled. "Enjoy the house, kids." He said, giving them a last smiled before shutting the door.
"Groceries then?" Marreck asked as he looped an arm around Emelaide and brought her to the rope ladder which he quickly climbed down. |
