Lori, seeing Lucina mopping the stairs, made sure no one was around as she picked up the broom and began sweeping the floor by the stairs, causing sawdust, from when Adrian came down with his tools, and such to fly onto the clean stairs and dirty them once more. Piling up what she had swept up into a pan, she took it outside and tossed it before putting away the broom and pan once more. Smiling as she walked upstairs, taking on an air of innocence, with her somewhat dirty feet from being outside and went to her room to wash up.

"Brat." Lucina called as she walked back up the stairs and began cleaning once more. "Get some class." She murmured to herself as she finished mopping the stairs for the second time and went to the kitchen to empty the bucket into the sink and putting away the mop and bucket.

"Lu, did ye finish? Mum said th' rest can wait 'til tomorrow. If ye like, we can go t' the festival early, Lori 'n' mum'll catch up later after th' laundry's finished," Adrian calle as he sipped his lemonade and read the newspaper.

Finishing washing up, Lori walked back out and headed down the stairs and headed into the kitchen. Passing Lucina, Lori whispered softly so that Adrian couldn't hear, "Lunatic."

Lucina sniffed her nose in the air as she followed Lori into the kitchen and walked over to Adrian. "You don't mind going early?" Lucina asked as she bent down and placed a kiss on his cheek. "I'll be ready in a few moments." She said happily as she left the kitchen and made her way back to her room to change her dress, a large smile on her face.

Lori fumed as she saw how Adrian only smiled at the kiss. "ADRIAN! HOW COULD YOU?! DON'T YE KNOW HOW WRETCHED 'N' VILE SHE IS?!"

Not raising his voice in the slightest, Adrian merely ignored her outburst and resumed what he had been doing before.

"Adrian, answer me!" Lori said helplessly.

"Lori, I love her. Ye can' change tha', nor can ye chase 'er away by continuin' wha' yer doin', end o' discussion. I love ye, Lori, 'n' ye'll always be me best girl. But Lucina has a place here, 'n' yer jus' goin' t' have t' accept tha'. Ye need t' realize tha', if she'll have me, if we're able.. Me only wish is t' marry her," finished Adrian as he placed a kiss upon Lori's forehead and headed out of the kitchen towards the door to put on his boots.

Lucina grinned excitedly as she heard Lori's outburst from her room. Unable to keep the smile off her face, Lucina dressed in another of the dresses Shinorah had made her before checking her hair in the mirror and washing off her face and arms.

Bouncing down the stairs happily, Lucina made her way to Adrian and slipped on the sandals she'd arrived in. "Ready?" She asked, nearly glowing with excitement.

Adrian nodded as he took her hand and led her out of the house. Shutting the door behind him, Adrian slipped his arm around Lucina's waist and held her close, his mood brightening at her presence, "What would ye like t' do first, love?"

"I want to see fire breathers." Lucina said excitedly as she wrapped an arm around his waist. "It still amazes me that mortals have learned such things. And these gypsies. I've heard that they tell the future. The Gods laugh at such things as obviously the Fate Sisters are far more talented at telling the future but I'm still interested." Lucina smiled happily, like a child on Christmas morning.

Adrian laughed as he placed a tender kiss upon her temple, "Very well, to the Caravans first for your fortune. We'll see the fire breathers tonight when it's dark," he promised as he led her towards the road. "It's a good two miles to the festival, would you like me to fetch horses or would you like to walk?"

"Let's walk." Lucina suggested as she stretched to give his neck a soft kiss before settling back against his side. "Was Lori very angry when I kissed you?" Lucina asked quietly, knowing full well that she was. "She was already a brat to me today. I had to mop the stairs twice." Lucina sighed, a frown settling over her pink lips.

Placing a light kiss upon her head, Adrian hugged her as he spoke gently, "Aye, she was angry. But I talked t' her. I think she understood, but ye might still want t' talk t' her love. I'm sorry she was horrible t' ye again, though.. T'day seems t' jus' be a day fer 'er t' be cruel, doesn't it.."

"Not just today." Lucina mumbled to herself as she rested her head on her shoulder. "I don't want to talk to her just yet. She reminds me of someone from home." Lucina said before deciding quickly to change the subject. "Anyways. Do you think the gypsies can really tell the future?" She asked, looking up at Adrian.

"Aye, I think they can t' a degree. Can they give ye details? Not exac'ly, but they can be pret'y darn close t' it if it's clear enough. But who is it Lori remind ye of?" Adrian asked curiously, finding it odd that someone was that horrible to Lucina when she was a Goddess.

"Remember when I told you that I wasn't always like this?" Lucina asked quietly as she tucked closer into Adrian's form. "Well there was this God that I was seeing and we were really falling for each other." Lucina explaned carefully, her cheeks red with humiliation. "Well at least I was falling for him but there's a Goddess whose never liked me. And she lured him away." Lucina sighed as she wrapped a second arm around Adrian's waist. "But it doesn't matter. Its over now." She said quickly, feeling suddenly insecure.

Adrian placed a tender kiss upon her head as he asked softly, "Tha's a real shame ye had t' go through tha' love, 'n' I'm sorry Lori reminds ye o' her. Can' be too pleasant t' be reminded o' tha' day after day.. If it's any help t' yer nerves, I'm not goin' t' turn out like tha' God o' yers. However, I do have t' ask, love, am I th' rebound mortal t' get back a' tha' God?" he teased as he held her close and placed a tender kiss upon her forehead.

"No." Lucina said, stepping in front of Adrian with her hands on his chest and her eyes wide with fear. "Adrian, I promise its nothing like that. Its been decades since that happened and Lori just reminds me of her. I promise, you're not a rebound." She explained carefully.

Taking her hands in his and bringing them to his lips, Adrian smiled, "I know, love. I was jus' teasin'. I know I'm not a rebound, I promise." Wrapping his arms around her waist, Adrian placed a tender kiss upon her lips. "Jus' answer me one thing, love, is tha' God o' yers a more handsome bloke than me?" he teasingly inquired after a couple of kisses.

"Nonsense." Lucina murmured against Adrian's lips, wrapping her arms around his neck as she returned his kisses. "God's beauty is given to them. I like that your real." Lucina smiled as she brought one of her hands to be around Adrian's upper arm. "If that makes any sense at all." Lucina laughed softly between kisses as her hand caressed his arm muscle gently.

Adrian chuckled as he held her close and eagerly returned her kisses, "I understand wha' yer sayin' love. Guess it's no' such a bad thing livin' on a potato farm eh love?" he teased between kisses.

"Maybe not." Lucina grinned at his kisses, bringing her hand back around his neck. "But your going to have to convince me otherwise." She teased, giving his nose a soft kiss before returning to his smooth lips.

Eagerly returning her kisses, Adrian smiled as his fingers slid through her soft blond hair. "I think I can easily 'n' happily do tha' love. Just tell me what'll convince ye," he whispered against her lips between kisses. "Though if we keep on like this, love, we'll never make it t' th' festival," he teased with a smile as he placed another tender kiss upon her lips.

"True." Lucina said softly though her grip around his neck tightened slightly. "But you're awfully tempting." Lucina smiled against his lips before dropping her arms from around his neck and took his hand in her's. "But I do want to see the fire breathers." She laughed excitedly as she pulled Adrian down the smooth path.

Adrian laughed as he followed her, "Lu, love, gypsies first. Then th' fire breathers tonight when it's dark," he added as he placed a tender kiss upon her head, "Though if ye wish, I'm sure I can pull a few strings 'n' have one put on a small performance early?"

"No, that's fine." Lucina smiled excitedly. "To the gypsies then." She smiled up at Adrian before lifting his hand to twirl quickly. "I've never been to a festival before." She laughed happily, feeling somewhat child like as they neared the festival.

Spotting the caravans, Adrian grinned, "Well, love, it'll be an honor t' show ye around." Taking her hand and linking their fingers, Adrian led her to a group of caravans all clustered together. Around the group, gypsies were walking about hanging laundry and going about their day. A few caravans, however, had jewelry and amulets of sorts while others specialized in fortunetelling through crystal balls or tarot cards. "What would you like to see first Lu?" asked Adrian as he motioned towards the said caravans before them.
