Adrian chuckled as he held her close and placed a long, tender kiss upon her lips, "Lu, don' tempt me so." Leading her down the path, they reached the river not too long after.

"Not much farther t' th' meadow, love," Adrian said with a warm smile as he led her down a side path a ways down the river.

"Who said I was teasing?" Lucina asked innocently with a small grin as she followed Adrian into a secluded clearing. "Its beautiful." She murmured happily as she rested her head on Adrian's shoulder.

"I though' ye'd like it," Adrian said with a warm smile as he placed a kiss upon her scalp. The flowers within the clearing were a sea of color and species - ranging from white lilies to yellow daffodils. Leading her into the clearing, Adrian laid out the blanket and table cloth before setting the basket on top of it and pulling Lucina gently down to lay beside him. Shifting onto his side and hovering over her slightly, Adrian tenderly caressed her cheek as the sunlight glowed upon her skin.

"I love ye, Lu," Adrian said warmly as he leaned in and placed a long, tender kiss upon her lips, "I'm glad ye like th' country so far. We'll 'ave t' come back again 'fore winter," he said with a warm smile and another kiss.

"I love you too." Lucina smiled as she wrapped a leg around Adrian's and pulled him close to her. "Very, very much." She said softly between tender kisses.

"'n' I'll nev'r und'rstan' why ye do, bu' ye won' hear me complainin' love," Adrian said with a chuckle as he pressed against her and placed deep, long, tender kisses upon her lips; his tongue seductively caressing her own as his hand tenderly caressed her curves and grasped the fabric of her dress, slowly raising the skirt to caress her bare leg as he kissed her.

Lucina felt a shiver run through her as she tightened her grip on Adrian, her hands roaming beneath the thing fabric of his shirt to caress his chiseled muscles.

Unbuttoning his shirt and slipping it off, Adrian's lips never left Lucina's. "I love ye, Lu, more than ye'll ever know," Adrian whispered against her jaw and neck and he left a trail of kisses, one elbow upon the ground by Lucina to prop him up while the other roamed beneath her dress, playing with the fabric of her undergarments as he caressed her curves and kissed her. However, though he played with the fabric, he had no intention of removing it from her skin what so ever.

"I love you too." Lucina murmured as her skin seemed to light with fire where Adrian's fingers had been. "So much." She said, arching her neck for his kisses as her fingernails dug lightly into his back.

A low moan escaped Adrian's lips as he tenderly nipped and passionately kissed her neck, moving her dress so that he could kiss her shoulder as well before slipping his hand back beneath the hem.

His thought process nearly gone as he lost nearly all of his control from her touch and her kisses, Adrian murmured softly against her skin, "Tell me when I've gone too far, love.. I don' mean t', but I can' guarantee I won' withou' realizin' it."

"Adrian..." Lucina sighed as she stopped his kisses and adjusted her dress, moving carefully out of their embrace. She felt embaressment mingled with regret that Adrian didn't intend to move things any farther. "Maybe we should just eat." She said quietly.

Adrian blushed as he ran his fingers through his hair and sat up. Sighing, Adrian reached out and caressed Lucina's cheek, "Did I go too far love? I'm sorry tha' I did... Guess I was too late in warnin' ye.. huh," Adrian added with a small, embarrassed laugh.

"Its alright." Lucina smiled, not bothering to mention that she wished they hadn't stopped at all. Lucina reached out for the basket and pulled out the sandwiches for both of them, carefully unwrapping the cloth she'd wrapped them in.

Sighing, Adrian tilted Lucina's chin up so that he could look into her eyes as he spoke, "Lu.. I want t' make love t' ye... It's hard fer me not t'.. I'm so sorry fer goin' too far even though ye told me yer no' ready fer tha'... I promise, I'll try 'n' keep bet'er control o' meself from now on.. Please don' be angry with me.."

"I'm not angry." Lucina promised as she set the sandwiches aside and cupped Adrian's cheek. "I love you, Adrian. And I hate having to wait." She admitted softly, her face turning a bright red. "But I can't have children right now. Not without being able to officially keep you forever." She said before giving Adrian's lips a tender kiss.

Adrian chuckled as he offered a small, warm smile, "Love, yer no' gettin' rid o' me. 'Til I die, my heart'll always be with ye, whether yer here 'r up there," Adrian promised as he leaned in and placed a long, deep, tender kiss upon her lips; his tongue slipping between her lips to caress her own as he pulled her close. Caressing her cheek as he pulled back a bit, Adrian placed a kiss upon her forehead as he whispered softly, "I love ye, Lucina, I'm no' goin' anywhere. There's no guarantees ye'll 'ave me yer entire life fer ye may outlive me. But fer as long as I'm alive, me love, ye'll 'ave me, I promise."

Lucina smiled as she wrapped her hand around to Adrian's hair and brought his lips back to her's. "I love you, Adrian." She said softly against his lips. "Very, very much." She promised. "And I'm looking very forward to spending the rest of my life with you."

"'n' I look forward t' spendin' th' rest o' me life with you, Lu," Adrian murmured softly against her lips between kisses, "I love ye too." With one last, long, hard, tender kiss, Adrian promised softly, "Ferever."

Leaning back, Adrian caressed Lucina's cheek before handing her a sandwich and taking one for himself, "Now, let's eat 'fore I get carried away again," Adrian teased with a wink.

"Yes." Lucina said with a teasing grin. "You're quite terrible always teasing me so." She said, poking his nose playfully before picking up her own sandwich and taking a bite. It was nothing close to the food she'd been served as a Goddess but with Adrian next to her Lucina hardly noticed.

Placing a tender kiss upon her forehead Adrian grinned, "Mmm, payback love. Ye tease me all th' time, love, withou' even realizin' it," he added with a wink before taking a bite of his sandwich and leaning back upon his elbows on the blanket.

"Nonsense." Lucina laughed as her small finger lifted lightly from the sandwich as she took another bite. "I'm completely innocent." She said, batting her eyelashes playfully.

Adrian laughed as he leaned over and placed a tender kiss upon her lips, "O' course, love, always." Smiling, Adrian finished half of his sandwich before setting the other half aside and laying back on the blanket, one arm behind his head being used as a pillow while the other reach out and brushed against Lucina's leg, resting upon her thigh as he closed his eyes and let the sun wash over him, completely at peace in the meadow with the love of his life by his side.

Lucina smiled as she looked over at Adrian, a bit taken aback at how handsome he was in the sun. Setting her sandwich aside, Lucina curled against Adrian's side. "You know, you're kind of handsome." Lucina smiled blissfully as she rested her head on his chest, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist.

His free hand moving to tenderly caress her hair, Adrian peeked down at her with a warm smile upon his lips. "'Kind of' handsome? Well, love, yer 'kind of' beautiful," he teased with a chuckle as he placed a tender kiss upon her head before settling back into his previous position, his fingers still running through her long, golden locks.

Lucina smiled as she leaned into Adrian's hand, snuggling closer to his side. "I love you." She murmured softly against Adrian's side, trying to bring her and Adrian closer together though it was nearly impossible to do so.

Adrian smiled as his hand slid and pressed against her lower back, his other hand slipping into her hand and caressing her head as he shifted and slightly hovered over her, leaning her back into the blanket as he continued to kiss her, "I love ye too, very much."
