"You're only wearing your boxers." Lucina pointed out with a grin as her fingers traced the lines of Adrian's chest to the hem of his boxers, tugging lightly at the hem.

A shudder of desire rushing through his veins, Adrian managed to whisper as his hand covered hers and linked their fingers together upon his chest, "Lu.. It was either tha' 'r wearin' me pants t' bed.. Would ye rather me go back t' me room 'n' get pajamas? Yer makin' it awfully hard no' t' make love t' ye.."

"Maybe I like to tease you." Lucina smiled as she broke thier kisses and rested against his side, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist. "And no, you don't need pajamas. I want you to stay right here." She said through a yawn before burying her face in his chest. "Okay?" She asked softly.

Adrian sighed as he covered his eyes with his hands, trying to calm his fast breathing and quick heartbeat, "Lu... Yer drivin' me crazy, absolutely crazy, with all o' this temptation 'n' strippin' 'n' all tha'.."

"I'm sorry, love." Lucina said as she propped her head up on Adrian's chest to look at him. "But you do the same thing and I wanted you to know just how entirely tempting you are. I didn't mean to upset you." She said with a pout that was so delicate her features were like that of a porcelin doll.

"I know love," Adrian whispered as he looked down at her and tenderly stroked her cheek with the back of his hand, "I know... I'm so so sorry Lucina.. I promise, I'll get me control t'gether soon.. I'm tryin' me best, love.. I really am.."

"Why are you apologizing?" Lucina asked, confused. "It was my fault for stripping so but you're going to marry me so I figured you should at least know what you're marrying." She smiled as she leaned into his hand. "I didn't mean to upset you. I was only having some fun." She frowned.

Adrian rolled his eyes playfully as he laughed, "Lu, I know wha' I'm marryin'. I'm marryin' a beautiful young woman who's taught me t' love 'n' 'as shown me a whole new way o' lookin' a' things. 'n' ye didn' upset me, love, ye jus'... I mean... Lu I.. I wan' t' make love t' ye, more than ye know, 'n' when ye tease me so it jus' makes it harder, bu' it doesn' upset me.. I love ye Lu," Adrian added with a long, deep, passionate kiss.

"I love you too." Lucina breathed against his lips before losing herself in another kiss. "I want to make love to you to Adrian." She said softly as she wrapped her arms tighter around his waist. "But I'm not ready to be a mother yet." She sighed, placing a kiss on his bare chest.

"I know, me love.. 'n' there's no guarantee ye will become pregnant after jus' one time, love.. Bu' th' more times we make love, th' more apt ye are t' become pregnant.. 'n' although I'd love nothin' more than t' 'ave a baby with ye, I respect tha' yer no' ready fer tha' 'n' I'm willin' t' wait.. I jus' wish there were some way we could make love withou' tha' risk, bu' there isn't I'm afraid," Adrian said softly as he held her close and placed light kisses upon her forehead, temples, cheeks, and lips.

"I love you." Lucina smiled against Adrian's lips. "And I like that you're willing to keep your virtue for me." She grinned as she leaned her head against his shoulder, tracing the length of his muscular arms.

Adrian chuckled as he placed a tender kiss upon her forehead as he caressed her back and took her hand in his, linking their fingers upon his chest, "I'd do absolutely anythin' fer ye, love. Ye mean th' world t' me, Lucina, don' ye realize tha' yet?"

Lucina simply smiled peacfully as she held herself closer to Adrian. "Even if I tease you sometimes?" She asked with a teasing grin, placing feathery kisses on Adrian's chest.

Adrian chuckled as he tilted her chin upwards so that their eyes met. "Even if ye tease me, love," Adrian assured her with a warm smile before placing long, tender kisses upon her lips, "I love ye Lu."

"I love you too." Lucina smiled against Adrian's lips before settling back against his side and letting out a long yawn. "Very much." She managed to murmur before drifting off to sleep, her arms wrapped tight aorund Adrian.

His hand caressing her back while the other linked fingers with hers upon his chest, Adrian placed a tender kiss upon Lucina's forehead as he whispered, "G'nigh', love." Resting his head gently against hers, Adrian fell asleep moments later; the love of his life in his arms, the moon and stars shining brightly through the window and bathing them in light upon the bed.

Lucina's sleep filled with nightmares as Kaylynn's kiss replayed in her mind. In some nightmares Lucina was unable to move and could only watch in horror as Kaylynn kissed the love of her life and in others the entire scene seemed to play in slow motion. "No." Lucina murmured in her sleep as she twisted in the sheets, clawing at the soft pillows as she tried to wake herself from her nightmares.

Feeling Lucina beside him stirring and clawing, once falling pray to her nails, Adrian awoke and turned to Lucina. Caressing her cheek and holding her close to him, Adrian murmured softly in her ear, "Lu, Lu it's alrigh'. It's only a dream, love, come back t' me.. Everythin'll be alrigh', I promise.. Lu, wake up.. please.."

Lucina woke with a start in Adrian's arms and immediately buried her face in his chest from both embaressment and to hide her tears against him. She felt her tears fall over her cheeks as she wrapped her arms around Adrian and let them fall until her heart beat had returned to a normal state. "I-I'm sorry." Lucina whispered softly against him. "I, uhm, I had a bad dream." She managed through quick breaths though she tried to calm herself, forcing herself to take deep breaths.

Kissing the tears from her cheeks, Adrian murmured softly against her skin, "Shh, love, it's alright. I'm here, ye've nothin' t' fear. It was jus' a dream, love, it can' hurt ye."

Placing a kiss upon her lips in comfort, Adrian held her close as he added softly, "Talkin' abou' it may help, love. Tell me wha' frigh'ened ye so?"

"It was nothing." Lucina said softly as she shut her eyes, forcing herself to calm down. "Just a nightmare." She said, afraid to broach the subject of Kaylynn again. It already seemed like months ago and Lucina was desperate to keep it that way.

"Lu... Cryin' like this is no' nothin'. Tell me.. Please?" Adrian insisted softly, worry getting the best of him. He hated seeing her like this and he wanted nothing more than to make her feel better and quit crying.

Lucina kept her eyes away from Adrian's as she concentrated on his bare chest. "I was dreaming about Kaylynn." She said quietly, embaressed that she had let Kaylynn enter her thoughts again. "I was on the couch again except I couldn't move and I could just see her kissing you again and again." She paused, letting a new wave of tears fall before continuing. "And I couldn't stop her." She added lamely at the end before burying into Adrian's side.

Holding her close, Adrian's face became somber, ashamed; tears prickling his own eyes as he spoke. "Lu.. I'm so sorry," Adrian whispered as he tenderly caressed her back while the other hand caress her head, "I'm so so sorry.. How can I ever make it up t' ye.. How can ye ever fergive me fer lettin' tha' happen," Adrian whispered as he held her closer to him, "I'm so sorry, Lucina.."

Lucina's face became confused for a moment before she understood why Adrian was apologizing for her. "No, Adrian." Lucina said, shaking her head as she looked up at him and cupped his chin, forcing him to look her in the eyes. "I'm not blaming you." She promised. "I just-I hate replaying that moment. I hate what she did and I hate that I let it happen. If I wasn't trapped being half-mortal then I would've been able to stop her but I couldn't." She gushed, her own eyes stinging with tears though she quickly blinked them back.
