Adrian chuckled as he calmed his breathing with a few more kisses upon her lips, "Aye.. Per'aps we'd best go upstairs." Picking her up, Adrian cradled her in his arms with a sly grin before placing a long, tender kiss upon her lips and heading out of the kitchen, hurrying up the stairs and to his bedroom. Shutting the door behind him softly with his foot, Adrian laid Lucina upon the bed and slipped in beside her. Caressing her cheek, Adrian murmured softly against her neck between tender kisses, "Now, love, where were we?"
"Right about here." Lucina murmured before bringing his lips back to her's. "I love you, Adrian." She managed before resting a hand on his waist, the other in his hair and losing herself in his kisses, her tongue slipping between his lips.
Eagerly returning her kisses, Adrian grinned as he got lost in her kisses. "I love you too," he managed to whisper as his heart raced and his breathing increased. A low moan escaping his lips, Adrian caressed Lucina's back and waist as he continued to kiss her, "So very, very much, love."
Lucina felt her control waver as she laid Adrian against the pillows, resting on his waist with a knee on either side of his hips. "Adrian..." She whispered softly against his lips, shifting to kiss his neck. Part of her wanted to continue but the other part wished for Adrian to stop her as she feared she wouldn't have the control to stop herself while she continued to give him tender kisses.
"Lucina..." A low moan escaped Adrian's lips as his hand slid to caress Lucina's buttocks while the other caressed her cheek. Returning her kisses, Adrian sighed as he shifted her back onto the bed and laid beside her. "Lu.. Tha's no' fair.. Ye shouldn't sit on me like tha'.. It's far too temptin' 'n' I may lose me self control," Adrian whispered between kisses as his hand slid up and around her waist, pulling her closer to him, "I love ye Lu."
"I'm sorry." Lucina lied as she gave him another kiss, curling against his side. "I love you too, Adrian." She smiled blissfully against his lips, resting her head against his shoulder. "I thought we were supposed to watch the sunset." She said as she looked out the window which was lit a dark red, marking the near ending of the sun fall.
Adrian chuckled as he followed her gaze after a few kisses upon her neck. "Mmm, we could always watch th' sunrise?" Adrian suggested as the sun fully set and his lips returned their attention back to Lucina's neck.
"As if I'm going to wake up that early." Lucina teased as she arched her neck to Adrian's kisses, ending the conversation of the sunrise as she kept her focus on Adrian's lips. Releasing her hand from his hair, Lucina ran her hands over Adrian's chest before slipping her fingers beneath the hem of his shirt to lightly caress his waist.
"Mmm, we'll watch it tomorrow then, in th' park," Adrian whispered softly against her lips before returning her kisses, his tongue slipping between her lips as he deepened their kisses, shifting to slightly hover over her as his hand slid beneath her gown and caressed her silky smooth leg and thigh.
"What say you I change int' pajamas 'n' you change int' yer nightdress. Tha' way I won' 'ave t' fumble with all yer skirts jus' t' pull ye closer," Adrian teased with a wink as he looked down upon his beautiful fiancee before giving her lips a long, tender kiss. |
Lucina smiled wordlessly as she slid off the bed, hurrying to her room. Lucina changed into her small nightgown, a bit worried about the temptation of the thin fabric. Lucina took a moment to examine herself in the mirror while losing herself in memories of her home, forgetting temporarily about Adrian in the next room.
Slipping out of the bed, Adrian undressed and changed into a set of boxers, light pants, and a light t-shirt. While waiting for his beloved, Adrian decided to make the bed and turn down the sheets.
Lucina sighed silently as she felt herself drifting into her centuries of memories, thinking of the good times and bad in her home. This new world felt foreign to her and Lucina let her hand wander forward, letting it rest against the cool glass of the mirror. She had an odd urge to curl up in her bed and shut her eyes, wanting her mother to cradle her and stroke her hair as she had done so many lifetimes before.
Lucina felt herself snap back to reality as if on a rubberband as her forehead rested against the mirror. Remembering that Adrian was waiting for her in the other room, Lucina adjusting her nightgown and hair before leaving her room and knocking gently on Adrian's door. |
"Come on in, Lu," Adrian called softly as to not wake anyone in the house. "Are you alright? You took so long.. Are you sure you wish to sleep in here?" Adrian inquired softly, almost hesitantly.
Lucina couldn't stop the childish smile from crossing her lips as she gazed at Adrian, feeling the strange yet familiar butterflies in her stomach. Taking a few short steps towards him, Lucina wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face against his collarbone. "I love you, Adrian." She gushed as she felt the warmth of him against her. Perhaps her mother couldn't comfort her but Lucina knew that Adrian was more then capable of making her feel like she belonged here.
Wrapping his arms around her, one hand burying in her hair as the other tenderly caressed her back, Adrian chuckled softly and placed a tender kiss in her hair, "I love you too, Lucina. Ye sure ev'rythin's alrigh'?
"Yes." Lucina said softly. "I'm just letting myself become overwhelmed about this new home." Lucina sighed against Adrian's skin, giving it a tender kiss afterwards. "I feel like your the only person here who wants me." She breathed gently, not daring to look into his eyes. "What if something goes wrong?" She rambled, her voice cracking as tears formed in her eyes. "What if your opinion on me changes before my year is up? I'll be alone, with no one. I need you more then I've needed anyone in a long time, Adrian." She said a few traitor tears rolled down her cheeks and onto the skin of Adrian's neck.
"Mum wants ye, I want ye.. We're th' only one ye've met, love.. Lu, ye've done nothin' t' make me change me opinion o' ye. I love ye 'n' I'll love ye 'til me last breath," Adrian soothed softly as he caressed her head, stroking her hair lovingly, while the other hand caressed the small of her back.
"Lucina, please don' think ye'll ever be alone. I'm never leavin' ye. I'll follow ye t' yer home in the sky if I 'ave t'. They'll never keep me from ye if ye love me 'n' ye still wan' t' be with me. I love ye, Lucina, never doub' tha'. Ever," Adrian assured her as he tilted her chin up so that he could looked down into her beautiful, shimmering eyes. Brushing the tears from her cheeks, Adrian leaned in and placed a long, loving, tender kiss upon her lips, "Please do not doub' me, love." After a couple more kisses, Adrian rested his forehead upon her's and teased softly, "'n' Lu.. Are you tellin' me tha' ye only keep me around 'cause I dote on ye 'n' pay attention t' ye? Are ye tellin' me ye don' really love me?" |
"Of course not." Lucina frowned, a few more tears escaping though she knew that Adrian was only teasing her. "I love you. I love you more then I've loved anyone else and I hate that I have to be so dependent on you. I don't want you to start resenting me because I'm such a burden on you." Lucina said, her shoulders shaking slightly as her insecurities seemed to attack her, causing her to burying her face in Adrian's chest as she was unable to look him in the eyes.
Tilting her chin towards him once more as he gently pulled her closer, Adrian smiled and caressed her cheek, brushing the tears from her eyes with the back of his fingers, "Come love, don' cry. I'll never resent ye nor think ye a burden. Lu, can't ye see I love ye heart 'n' soul? Besides, it's rather nice knowin' a Goddess is dependent upon me. Makes me feel like I have a purpose," Adrian added with a wink before leaning down and placing long, tender kisses upon her lips. "Lu, what can I do t' prove t' ye tha' what I say is true 'n' that ye 'ave nothin' t' worry about?"
"You can't." Lucina frowned as she melted into his frame, forcing away any more tears. "I just have to get over it." She laughed humorlessly as she took his hand in her's. "I didn't mean to break down like this." She admitted wiht a blush as she brushed the last of her teares from her face and led Adrian over to his bed. "I'm so tired now." She said through a small yawn as she fell back against the bed and rested her head against one the pillows.
Slipping in beside her, Adrian placed tender kisses along her neck before wrapping his arms around her waist and leaving long, tender kisses upon her lips, his tongue slipping in to caress her mouth with each kiss.
"Lu, I hate seein' ye like this. Tell me wha' I can do t' make ye see I love ye 'n' will never think ye a burden," Adrian whispered as he rested his forehead against her own, brushing his nose lightly against hers, "I understan' yer fear, love, but I hate seein' it effect ye so much.. Yer me fiancee, Lu, soon ye'll be me wife. Would ye rather 'ave a non-traditional weddin' 'n' get married here? Now? Lu, fer yer hand I'll wear the colors of gypsies 'r go in me bare bottom. Anythin', if it makes ye 'appy," Adrian promised as he tenderly caressed her cheek, leaning in to place long, soft kisses upon her lips, "Jus' tell me wha' t' do." |
"Adrian." Lucina sighed as she curled closer to him, her arms locking around his waist as her face nuzzled gently against his neck. "There's nothing you can do except to love me." Lucina murmured against the warmth of his skin, giving it a gentle kiss. "I just wish there was someone here that cared that I existed except for you and your mother." She sighed. "But I shouldn't be putting this on you, Adrian. I love you and all I ask is that you love me in return."
"I love ye, Lu, I 'ave since th' day I met ye, 'n' I always will," Adrian promised with a tender kiss upon her head. Resting his cheek gently in her hair, Adrian sighed as he held her close, their bodies molding together as he hugged her, "Besides Lu... Ye 'aven't been in the city much. Ye 'aven't been t' th' balls tha' 'appen in the city. I know Mum got a couple invitations t' dinners 'n' balls, would ye like me t' tell 'er t' accept 'n' introduce ye?"
"A ball?" Lucina wondered curiously, her fingers tracing patterns on Adrian's shoulder before looking up at his eyes. "I wonder what a ball would be like down here. But I wouldn't want to make you go to a ball if you don't want to, Adrian." Lucina said though the idea of such a party thrilled her.
"O' course I'll go, love, if it'll make ye 'appy," Adrian promised as he tenderly pressed his lips against her in a couple of kisses before adding softly in a whisper, "It'll give me a reason t' show ye off t' everyone 'n' see ye in a dress like th' one ye were wearin' when ye first came t' Earth. I do rather miss tha' dress, ye know," Adrian added teasingly with another kiss as he lovingly caressed her back with one hand and ran his fingers lightly through her hair with the other.
