My name is Rickonose, but please don't call me that. Call me Riko.

I look young for my age, I'm really seventeen already, but most people don't believe me when I tell them that. It's annoying.

I live in a cardboard box, but you wouldn't know it.

I am usually very bubbly, yet sometimes reserved with people I don't know well, especially humans. I'm gentle but flamboyant, and, as adults say, naive. I really don't know too much about what people call my sexuality, perhaps that's why they call me naive. I am attracted to both girls and boys, but have never even had so much as a kiss from either of them.
I suppose I have bored you already with all this talk about me. *curious look* Who are you?

"Lucaaa!" Called the manager who was walking out of the back

Hearing his name he jumped a little and almost dropped a plate of cheese cake into a customers lap. Luca had been working opening to close everyday for the past 6 days and had been having nightmares so he was exhausted though tried his best to hide it. he needed to work or well thought that he did anyway. he quickly apologized to the customer and than excused himself. to go see his manager he was hoping that it wasn't about his day off tomorrow.. he really needed it and hoped it wasn't about covering a shift.

" Luca. Are you alright? some of the costumers have told me that you've been mixing up orders, ringing up the wrong things on there bills. Its just not like you."

" kent.. i. Im fine really it was just a little mix up" luca said suddenly worried that he was going to lose his job

" Why dont you go home and get some rest. i can handle it here for the rest of the day with out you." Luca sighed and knew that kent was right about needing the break.

" Alright. If you are sure. Thank you." he went to his tables and informed them of his leaving and also apologized again.

After saying goodbye to the costumers he took some food and then left the cafe' and went to the park. sitting on a bench by the lake and under a tree setting the bag down. he lent his head back and closed his eyes to rest alittle.

Riko wandered around with what seemed like aimlessness, but in fact he was in pursuit of food. He was a rather odd sight, especially being a Neko. He had a black tail, which was normal enough, paired with black ears. Equally normal. But what was odd about him, was his snow white hair. Most Nekos had the same color hair as their tail and ears, but Riko was an oddity for sure; that coupled with his blue eyes...well, let's just say he was one to really stand out in a crowd.

His torn darkwash blue jeans hung loosely on his hips, tied securely with an old dark brown leather belt with a brass buckle that was beginning to rust. He wore a very dirty white t-shirt that was bordering on being black from filth, and his shoes were probably once white as well. Riko sniffed the air with zealousness, wanting to find even a shred of food around here. He lived in a cardboard box, or anywhere else that offered some shelter, the way he was born doing. His mother was a less than ladylike Neko, and since usually only nekos mated with nekos, he assumed his father was one as well. He had been plopped infront of an orphanage when he was just a blind little kit, but he had been turned away; more like, thrown in a dumpster. But he was thankfully rescued by other less than respectable ladies. He grew up on the street, hunted on the street, and sometimes slept on it.

But now, he was on the trail of something. He caught a faint wiff of...mmm...something very delectable. He began sneaking forward with a new purpose, and soon came to a bench, where a very pretty Kitsune was sitting. Taking a large but silent breath of air, Riko determined that the smell was coming from the Kitsunes box. Slinking around behind the bush, very aware that this would be a hard job, considering it was a Kitsune he was trying to steal from. He was as silent as he could be, and slowly reached his hands out to grab the box, his mouth watering with anticipation and excitment of the meal that was to finally come.

The kitsune Luca was nodding off his breath light, he wasn't completely asleep but if the neko Had timed it right he would have gotten away with stealing Luca's wonderful cake. Unfortunately for the Neko luca Shifted and stretched out a bit His arm falling down towards his box but instead of touching the box he had come in contact with some very filthy paws

Having been so out of it he just touched them for a moment curious if they were really real when they moved slightly he jumped into a standing position swaying abit from his fatigue. He turned ears directly up and tail tense he didnt like that he let someone sneak up so closely to him without his noticing.

his eyes scanned over this intruder He was shocked to find how filthy the thing was. did the kid like roll around in a mud puddle for hours on end before trying to steal from someone. Lucas Eyes met with the Neko's finding them to be a beautiful shade of blue. he also noticed they had the same snowish silver hair color that was a rare site in any of there races. Even so luca stood there waiting to see what he would do. He wasn't in the mood to bother with the kid but was curious what the kid would do now that he was spotted so close to his goal

" What are you doing here." Luca said calmly and cooly though there was a bit of a threatish sounding in his voice. He looked back to the box and lent in to reach for it maybe if the kid whined he would share it maybe if the kid was lucky that is. " You weren't about to try and sneak up on me and than steal from me now were you?" his tone became a nit more harsh as he mentioned stealing. " you know that stealing is bad and get even little kids like you in alot of trouble right? Im pretty sure you dont want to get in trouble your mother wouldn't like that i bet." most of the time mentioning there mother was good enough he didnt want to pull the il call the cops on you on a kid.

Just when Riko thought he was home free, the Kitsune shifted and touched his paws. He froze, turquoise eyes wide with fear at being caught. His hands were still tightly wrapped around the precious box, and he wanted to let go and run, but he couldn't.

He stared up at the now very alert and very pretty kitsune. Eyes still wide with terror, Riko gulped, and visibly winced when the kitsune spoke. Wasn't it obvious what he was doing? But at great cost to his energy, Riko somehow found the ability to speak.

He gaped like a fish for just a moment, then whimpered, "Don't hurt me, or turn me in. I-I just wanted your leftovers." He stared down at the box, his mouth watering heavily, and his stomach growling aggressively. Riko reluctantly released the box and hung his head, his black ears pressed firmly against his head, now hidden by his mop of white hair.

"I'm sorry, mister." He whimpered, flinching at every tiny movement the kitsune made, something that made it very obvious he expected to be beaten for his mistake at being caught.

luca watched every movement the neko made surprised at how scared the poor guy was. did he really seem like that mean of a guy or something? maybe his tiredness made him seem that way he couldnt tell. The fact that the neko did not run like any other cat would have impressed him a cat that would stay because it knew that theyd done something wrong. luca could admire that in someone.

" Ill think about it. I suggest that you have a seat while i think about it and another suggestion you might not want to think abut running ill have you in more trouble for it." luca said but the neko could hear a change in the kitsunes tone of voice as well as see that his ears were no longer pin point maybe riko had a chance after all?

luca placed the box on the further end of the bench more as a i didnt want to hold it sort of deal but also as a test to see what the kid would do.

Rikos ears perked up a bit. He watched as the kitsune sat back down on the bench and moved the box back down a little further on the bench. It was so tempting; but Riko resisted the urge to grab it and run. He was rather conspicuous afterall. He stayed crouched on the ground, but prowled forward to the end of the bench where he could see the kitsunes face more clearly.

He refreigned from even casting a small glance at the box, for fear that his resolve would wither away like a flower in the heat of the afternoon sun. He could feel the eyes of the Kitsune on him, but he didn't look at him. Instead, he licked his paw and wiped it across his forehead, leaving a slightly dirtier streak among an already dirty face. He then began to pick at things in the grass, waiting for the kitsune to release him from the torture of smelling such good food just inches from him.

His stomach grumbled wildly inside of him, and Riko crossed his arms over his stomach, squeezing slightly to try and releive the sharp pangs of hunger, intensified by the smell of the food in the box. His blue eyes were downcast as he studied his filty shoes, wondering when this torment would end.

He watched the kid on the ground playing in the grass. Was he that easily distracted by everyday things? the kitsune patted the bench" You know when i had said for you to sit down i didn't mean like on the ground i meant for you to tp Come and sit by me. " he said again hoping to make it more clear and at the same time trying to be a bit more nicer about it." he smiled slightly to reinsure him that he wasnt going to get hit or something of that nature,

he waited silently but then tryed to hold in a laugh as the neko made a nice dirty strip in his forehead. He didnt want to let the kid think he was getting off that easily. though as he continued to look at the all the mess yness and filth espicaly that silly strip he couldnt contain his laughter. his laugh was almost like a song and with it all seriousness had faded away but it soon ended when he heard a monstrous sounding growl . and low to behold it was the kids stomach " Wow... your really just that hungry huh.." Luca said slowly looking to the box and than at the kid.

" How about this. You and i will make a deal and then maybe if you do your part ill let you have the cake? and dont worry its a pretty easy task youd have the cake abd be on your way in no time"

Riko's face snapped up at the kitsunes request. He stared at the box, and then at the bench. He usually didn't use those, and was rather wary of benches. He slowly stood up and took the small step to the bench and sat down on it gingerly, his tail swishing back and forth nervously. Once his butt hit the seat, a small smile crept over his face. He had done it!

His face screwed up into a curious but wary look as he tilted his head towards the kitsune. "A deal?" He wasn't sure he liked deals. The only deals he had seen or heard of were the ones the women that raised him had...and some of those he still had nightmares about. But at the mention of having the cake, his stomach rumbled and all caution was flung out the window.

"Ok. What is it?"

"there are a few parts to this deal. And they are... one. You have to give me a good reason Why i shouldnt take take you to the police for atemptive stealing from me, As well as why you were trying to steal from me in the first place. Two if your going to eat then you need to wash up. No offence man... but your filthy its a sorry sight. Three you have to eat it at my table in my home And you will tell me just exactly how you managed to get so dirty. And if your stories amuse me i will consider not pressing charges"

Luca wondered it it was really such a good idea to let that filthy theiving neko into his home even for just an hour or so. For all he knew the kid could try and steal everything luca had, though it wasnt really that much tobegin with.. but the kid seemed like his life was lacking some serious kindness and he wanted to atleast show him not all people were bad.

Riko stared wide eyes at the Kitsune. He just couldn't believe what he was hearing. "You...want me..." He pointed at the kitsune, then himself, "to go to your house?" He just couldn't believe this. He began to get excited, especially at the prospect of food. "You mean, I can eat it?" He chose to ignore entirely the fact that this kitsune wanted him to bathe. It's not like he didn't want to be clean, but he was a Neko afterall, and with that came the same hate of water like all cats had.

Riko jumped up off the bench and stuck out his dirty paw, smiling broadly. "Deal."

" After you tell me everything i want to know and get squeaky clean then yes you can eat it." He said with a small smile on his face. It was amusign to see how happy he was jsut because he was going to get some cake. " Well i suppose we should go.." He said slowly standing up. though paused as the neko held out his dirty paw. he hesntly shook hands with the neko " The names luca by the way" He said before letting go of the nekos hand to find that his hand was now covered in dirt. he chose to whipe off his hand on to his pants before leaning down to pick up the cake. "ill show you the way to my place and then we will get you cleaned up and talk over some cake and maybe milk?" he stated thinking that since he was a neko that he would like milk thats what cats drink right? milk? "i um... also have iced tea." he said quickly just incase the neko would be offended by only being offered what a cat would have.

Riko's turquoise eyes lit up like little blue stars when he was offered milk as well. His mouth watered as he ssaid, "Oh that would be great!" He followed the Kitsune, Luca and watched with some embaressment when he wiped his hand on his pants. "Riko. My names Riko." He said by way of introduction. He was too preoccupied with the prospect of finally having some food and milk and a warm place to sit and eat it, to make a proper introduction.

"Where do you live?" He asked curiously, his eyes unwillingly leaving the box to watch where he was walking.

"I live..." he paused he hadn't actually been liveing here that long now and could not remember the street name what so ever not even the first letter of the street name or even t if was a street and not an avenue " I live pretty close to here actually don't worry it's really not that far" he said so he wouldn't have to say he didn't know his own block name

Luca walked at a moderate rate leaving the park and began walking down the road he soon looked behind him to see if the neko , riko was it?, was following him

Riko followed like a lost puppy at the Kitsunes heels. Rarely did he leave the park or surrounding area, and as happy as he was for the chance at some food, it still frightened him a bit. He constantly stole looks at the box that held the delicious smelling cake, and found his mouth watering everytime he did so.

He thought about how he would get himself clean...He supposed the kitsune would give him a small towel that he could use to take off the worse of the grime, and he could clean himself normally after that. He had no idea that Luca meant a shower.

((Sorry for the short reply...couldn't think of much else xD))

As they walked there were many stores around toy stores food places such as Berger king and taco bell. A pizza place as well as some more fancyer restraunts there were pet stores hair salons and nail spas all sorts of clothing shops. As they passed the second petshop luca checked behind him "this block coming up we have to turn onto" he said only to inform him.

The new block they turned onto was nothing like the one they were just on everything was dull there were no fancy stores nothing that stood out all there was were these buildings with fire escape stairs on them and so many windows.

luca decided tgat it was time to break the silence again "so.. Riko how oldare you if I may ask" he said trying to make small talk with him as they walked so that they would not have to be in awkward silence.

Riko stared in open awe at the brightly colored clothes in the stores, winced as the fumes from the nail spa hit his nose, and even hissed at a puppy that was bouncing playfully in the window of one of the pet shops barking.

Vaguely aware of the question, Riko absent-mindedly answered, "Seventeen. Almost Eighteen." As they rounded the corner of the block, the awe of the last few minutes faded quickly as a sense of dread filled him. "This is where you live?"

Luca smiled and looked back at Riko when he heard him hissing. "Wow you really are like a cat aren't you."He said with a small smile. "How cute." Luca continued more in a mumbled tone a light blush crossing his face. He felt bad hitting on a kid but for whatever reason could not help it.

Hearing Riko's answer he blurted out "No freaken way you look like your 14 maybe 15 at best!!" he was happy was hear that. He wasn't being attracted to someone so young as he has thought. Even so, in a small attempt to hide his blush he took his hair tie out of his hair letting it fall more into his face. Though he did wonder if he would have even noticed it at all.

Luca's blush soon faded though as they came to the ally that was in between hi building and the next one "Yes actually well this is the side of the building though. When we get to thenfrount my apartment is on the seventh floor."

(I'm sorry I'm on an iPod . It's very hard to do so ok here my brother took my computer and my mother took the main I'm doing the best I can like I can't even reread what I have typed please bare with me. Not to mention I cracked my screen and the touch pad doesn't work that well because of it.)

Riko stared up at the building. It wasn't the friendliest of buildings, but he shrugged of the thoughts of bad things. He sighed when Luca said he looked fourteen. "That's what everyone says." His voice wasn't mean, but it sounded a little weary and defeated.

He followed the Kitsune, who he noticed seemed a little flushed, but thought nothing of it, up into the biulding, his mouth watering more with every step.

" I'm sorry. I don't want to seem like everyone else to you. It was...Just a bit surprising, you know? And hey think about it when your 60 you won't look all old and wrinkled. Wont that be a good thing then?" he said trying to cheer him up a bit. " ill be like a prune monster or something or horrendous!"

They walked around the building and then came to the front. The front wasn't as horrible looking as the alleyway. Though it still did not seem welcoming at all.

Luca walked inside and went to a desk as if he were in a hotel or something and wanted to check in. "Anthony any mail for me today?" Luca asked. The Man stood up and checked a mailbox and then handed Luca a bunch of envelopes. Upon receiving his mail he walked over to the stairs.

There was an elevator but it had been broken for the past month. " My home is number '719' The format of this apartment building was very similar to the cheapest of hotels.

(Luckly i am now on the computer. Haha it wont take me forever between losing wifi and the typing on that damn screen. Xp I love you main compie! *Hugs her computer.* wow that post is big haha score.)

Riko just stared as Luca got his mail. He knew certainly what it was, but other than a peice of folded paper that people gave to each other...that was all he knew. He also knew of hotels and their shady ways, and he wasn't quite sure he liked that analogy. "I'm sure it's a great place." He said as he followed Luca up the stairs.

"Are we gonna have to walk all these stairs?" He asked. If so, he had this habit of counting steps he took, mainly up stairs. Riko just thought it was kinda cool to see how many there really were.

" You'll find that my apartment is much different from the outside appearance." Luca said as he shuffled though his mail not really looking as he walked

"Unfortunately the elevator is broken, so for now yea we do have to walk up them... but it's good exercise and its always fun to count the steps you know?" He said continuing up the third flight of stairs. "have you ever took the time to count the stairs that you walk on?" He asked wondering if he was weird for doing so.

Riko stopped suddenly when Luca mentioned his hobby. "You count stairs too? I thought I was the only person odd enough to do that." He tilted his head and regarded the Kitsune with a new eye. Something in him stirred, and he found he was already getting quite fond of Luca...but it seemed more than that...He pushed those thoughts aside, deciding to decode his feelings later.

"So...when do I get cake and milk?" His voice chipper and light, as he seemed to bounce up the stairs, mentally counting..1...2...3...4...

Luca smiled "Ah so you do count stairs finally someone else that does so. Most of the time when i ask that to someone they look at me all weird like. You are filled with small surprises for me aren't you." He looked back to see that Riko was quite a bit of stairs behind

"As for your cake and milk like when you complete your side of the deal, Remember? Its like i said in the park you have to tell me why you were trying to steal from me, along with a reason i shouldnt turn you in, why your so covered in dirt and don't forget, we give you a good bath what size clothing do you wear ill loan you some of mine i i can get yours washed if there even save-able that is..."
